This is the worst place to go for your tire rotation or replacement. I had a scheduled appointment twice and showed up as scheduled and told that they can't do because of only one mechanic on duty. I did receive text message reminders about those appointments and and I confirmed. No one from the shop cared to call me and reschedule the appointment, but instead they preferred that drove in and be told they can't do it. The man at the reception, who I met the first time when I checked in and who informed there down on staff and had to reschedule my appointment for the following week, ignored me when I checked in the second time, he left his desk and went to shop without even greeting me or even had eye contact and came back 7 minutes later, with me still standing in line where he left me, and then asked me if I was all set, even though he was the only one at the reception. Really!!!. I also think he has issues with race also.

The staff is really good here. My car needed a new battery. I called a number of places and the price they offered ($199 for 3 year warranty installed) was the lowest. I also got in early for my appointment. They have a great waiting area. I had an issue with car radio after change of battery. Scott (the technician) was not only good @explaining the issue but also helped me resolve it. I had to take my car in couple of times to get it fixed but that was not due to Scott (or Pep Boys). My car needed a code and it took time to get it. Pep Boys never charged for those extra visits.

Went in for rear breaks. They told my wife she needed 4k in repairs. That the car was undriveable. Took the car in a local garage and we need rear breaks for 500. They said everything else was fine. Also wouldn t accept coupons off the website.

Great and VERY fast service! I had a NEXT DAY appointment to fix a not-so-slow leak in my tire. They were able to repair it NEXT day and for a fraction of what I thought it would cost. Thank you SO MUCH!

Went with Pepboys strictly because of the price and wish I could go back and just pay more for a more reputable company that would complete the requested work properly and on time. Don t book online because they don t honor those appointments . I got two front tires and an alignment. Was told after waiting in the freezing cold lobby for 4 hours that the alignment couldn t be done properly without buying a special kit? And then I was still charged for the alignment. AND conveniently couldn t get the print out for the alignment because the printer was broken . Just disappointing and frankly quite angry.Update: I was extremely impressed when, within an hour or so after posting my review, I was contacted by someone asking for information so that I could be contacted by field leadership about my experience. I promptly passed along my info. Now 10 days have passed and not a word. While I didn t expect or even want a resolution , I was looking forward to sharing more details about my experience and hopefully helping future customers not have a repeat of what transpired during my visit. Instead it was ignored and shrugged off. Perhaps leadership just can t be bother by an obviously failing location. Dear reader, please do yourself a favor and seek vehicle services elsewhere.

Read a lot of negative reviews but have had other vehicles serviced here without issue. Today my VW Passat got new tires fresh oil and alignment. After driving away I can say it drives straight and smooth. Thanks for another job well done !

The service was done in the time frame described, and the results were excellent. The waiting room was great, but they need to restock the coffe machine. Check-out took a tad longer than expected, but it was great overall.

i bought my car from a private sale and it was a basically brand new car. i brought it in to get it inspected and i made an appointment a week prior, there was two people that s appointment were after mine and they got taken before me and done before me. once my car was done he told me my car didn t pass inspection due to it needing new break pads and a whole new headlight. it seemed suspicious because the car was basically brand new and my boyfriend knows a lot about cars. i took it to another high end place and they told me that the car is in perfect condition and they were confused on why i was told i needed new break pads and a new headlight. do not get your car inspected here

Ordered 4 tires and paid online, scheduled appointment brought my car in. They told me they don't have tires for my car. They put on backorder and told to call back next day. I waited all day next day and no one call. I called them back a day after and they said They don't know when my order will be in. I told them I want to cancel the order. They told me to call the online number to cancel. Called and waited hours. Such a terrible business experience. They Said "on the website is a 3rd party they don't control that". Don't book an appointment or order online. Need to come to your local location.

needed to replace a tire that had a nail on the sidewall, was able to have it replaced with the same tire within 1 hour of arriving, pretty fast service in my opinion. Scott was very nice and easy to work with.

First time and will be my regular place. Great customer service, very professional, great communication, place very family friendly that that they have a nice waiting area ,very convince location, great price for the services. In my visit I have ordered a new tires , team very friendly, and answered all my questions. Keep up the great work. Highly recommended.

I like the customer service here, staff is friendly and helpful and text notifications are awesome. I recommend having an appointment to have work done because they are busy during the sales they have. Good price for tires.

The service here is inconsistent. My first time here was great. They found an issue my previous mechanic caused. The last few times it s been a mess. When I ask for an estimate make sure you actually know your system so my estimate doesn t go from 400 to 1400. And what the hell is the point of appointment times if you aren t actually going to do it at that time. I get being a little behind. But I m doing this on my work break. The person I talked with when I made my appointment said it should be fine. It was only for an oil change. That doesn t take long. 30 minutes later and nothing had been done and now I m going to be getting back to work late.

Went for a tire change at 9:00AM with a reservation. I was initially informed that the process would take approximately 2.5 hours. Regrettably, the service significantly exceeded this time frame, resulting in an extended wait of 5.5 hours in a rather uncomfortably cold lobby.Further compounding my dissatisfaction, I discovered upon returning home that the tire pressure indicator was activated once again. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Drove an hour to get new tires put on my vehicle. I made the appointment online yesterday when I got there. Ken told me that I have to reschedule because he doesn t have enough people to do the job. I didn t get a phone call or email to let me know that they won t be able to work on my vehicle, then he goes and asks if I want to reschedule I have a spare tire on my vehicle. I drove on the highway at slow speed just to get told that my vehicle won t be worked on this is the first time I ve ever made an appointment to Pep Boys, and I am not happy at all , they didn t even try to work with me to help me out. I am very upset. Terrible service no working with me. Once I told him I didn t want to reschedule. He just left it at that very unprofessional in my opinion for not giving me a phone call or giving me a heads up at all , it s like they don t even pay attention to the appointments that are set he told me the online appointment is a third party company that doesn t that makes no sense to me. I m very upset won t be coming here again and won t be recommending any of my family and friends to come here ever again .

Went to get a new tire in Nashua, we're driving on a spare, they would not put a new tire on because they said their policy is you have to buy at least two. We currently cannot afford two, we need one - they refused us. Your website should state this, wasted gas and time.

Went in to buy ONE TIRE! they tried to sell me 4. I needed one tire they insisted on scamming me. Also they sell "flushes" from a scam operation called BG products. They sell unnecessary services that are not recommended by the OEM. So basicly this bg company comes in and bribes the desk workers with something called a "spiff" which is a under the table payment that can pay them thousands and thousands of dollars for selling the customer services they don't need or want but they imply is critical to your car. Meanwhile the technicians get "chips" in the cans which they also get paid by the vendor to perform. Its a grift that the people sell make alot of money under the table. If you see pep boys or bg they are unethical scum ripping you off. These guys don't care about selling what you need they just want to rip you off and profit from it.

I used Pep Boys a lot in the past but since I had a new car I did not need service. When I could not get in to see my dealer I went back to Pep Boys for an issue. It started out a little rough because they forgot I had an appointment and my car sat for 4 hours but once we got that squared up they were on the issue and fixed my car. I would recommend them but you need to ask questions and follow up more often during the day since they are busy.

It does not bring me joy to leave a one star review. But I feel this experience has to be shared. My elderly parents brought their vehicle into Pep Boys of Nashua on Amherst St to have new tires put on for a long road trip they were taking.Without their immediate knowledge, Pep Boys had already had their vehicle on the lift and claimed their vehicle had many fire code and safety violations and it was undriveable!!! And that they had to fix the issues..$$$$. UNDRIVEABLE??!! My parents literally just drove it in to their facility.My mother asked for her vehicle back and she would get tires elsewhere as she did not believe their claims.They said that they could not hand over her vehicle to her in its current condition.My mother was hysterical. She felt like she was being scammed.After being at their facility for OVER SEVEN HOURS, she called me hysterical. She felt like she was being help captive.Other patrons felt so bad for my parents that they even went out to get them food and water as my parents were there all day without anything to eat or drink!I think Pep Boys of Nashua really needs to review their practices and perhaps give a lesson in ethics and morals.I have been to my same mechanic for 15 years and he ALWAYS tells me what's wrong with my car and GETS MY PERMISSION before beginning the work.Basic common courtesy is lacking at this facility for sure.

Upfront and Honest communication. They couldn't service my vehicle while I waited, so they gave me a Lyft home. I could go about my day and return just before close to pick up my vehicle as promised; the repair was done to completeness.

The Store manager Scott was exceptional. Clearly went the extra mile when the tires ordered were delivered to the wrong Pep boys' location. Scot sourced tires from another location so I did not have to schedule a new appointment.J Conway.

Installation of new tires: 1. Tire pressure on three tires was OK but one tire was over by more than 10 pounds, 2. Brought car in with four tire valve caps and new tires only had two, and they were each different, 3. Tried to up sell me that tie rod was broken and needed to be replaced when I saw there was nothing wrong. Good price on tires, but terrible workmanship. I know good help is hard to find but this was carelessness.

I had a disappointing experience with Pep Boys. My first appointment was canceled due to staffing issues, and when I rescheduled, I had to wait an excruciating 6 hours for a simple tire and alignment service, even though I had a 9 am appointment. This lack of organization and excessive waiting time left me frustrated and dissatisfied with their service.

I came in almost at the stores opening for a tire change. I was one of the only customers there for a while and it still took over 4 hours to complete the tire change. I would only recommend this place if time isn't a factor or if you can leave the car there to be worked on.

Total incompetence! I brought my vehicle in about a month ago for an inspection. Long story short, They said I needed work I diden't need, ordered parts I dident need, and then they test drove my car the day I was to pick it up and they seized my engine. I have been waiting for a call from the general manager who I was told was on vacation. almost 30 days later and I'm still waiting for a call. My car is still there. For safety reasons, please do not take your vehicle here!

Good service at the shop, but cold waiting area, and my appointment through Tire Rack changed from "waiting" to "drop off", which could have been an issue if the other appointment hadn't been a no-show.

Damaged my wheel. Will be pursuing a refund but I am not optimistic. I went and told the guy at the front desk and he just shrugged his shoulders.Sloppy work all around. Look at all the residue they left on the tires, mind you these are brand-new tires. Look at the sticky residue from them sticking the weights in the wrong spot then removing them! Also look at the color of the wheel weights they put on. I asked them if they have black ones and he said 'no, sorry' - Looks sloppy and unprofessional. Very unhappy.

Booked my appointment to get 4 new tires on my car. Drove 45 mins for my appointment. Showed up and said they don t have enough people to do my tires today so I can come back another day or find somewhere else to go. I had a leak in my tire and needed them done. They did call Sullivan to see if they could take me. I will never use Pepboys again.
