I am only visiting in the area -- I live in Maryland. I had a low tire alert come up on my car-- in the pouring rain -- far from home. There are many gas stations that do not have service stations. I found Merrimack Auto Center and they were able to check my tires out quickly. The staff are super sweet. I would definitely recommend this site. Please consider checking them out.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My dealership told me I needed my serpentine belt replaced and I didn't see how that was possible. After reading reviews for Merrimack Auto Center, I decided to take my car to them for another opinion. I cannot say enough about how kind and honest they were. I was actually told the belt absolutely was not in need of replacement! I was in and out before my appointment time and everyone was friendly and professional. I have found my new mehchanic!

These guys always do a 10/10 job and never charge you for anything extra. Very personable staff and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else but right here.

Had an engine code error and first brought my car to another shop. The mechanic that worked on my car replaced everything he could think of, except the part which clearly was linked to the code. In his defense, the guy needed some dental work done and his insurance had lapsed. I just didn't feel it was right for me to pay for all of it. My plan isn't great either.So I called this place here and first spoke with the wife of the mechanic. She knew what part it was pointing to when I told her the code. Later I spoke with the mechanic (husband) who was going to do the work. He said he was pretty sure that was the issue and part that needed replacement. Dropped the car off and picked it up the next day. The mechanic did some diagnostic tests to confirm the problem, and his suspicions were correct. He replaced the part and the light has not come back on.Only other thing I could say for consideration is that the price seemed a bit high for the task. That said, they go by actual work time and the mechanic noted that the part was a bear to get off.I also talked with the daughter when I braced for impact on the bill. Very nice lady.I got a good vibe from the family running the Nashua location. They are down to earth and don't try to rush you off the phone when you are explaining the problem and they are giving you an idea what the issue might be. I would use them again for future work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great customer service and pricing. My wife wanted to install an automatic car starter and after reading the reviews from multiple places and pricing out options for the starter that I needed, she found Merrimack Auto Center (in Nashua). They were able to schedule the installation in within a few days (they only install car starters on Mondays) and we dropped it off Sunday night and it was ready Monday around 9:30am. Works perfectly. The lady at the front desk showed me how everything worked and was very polite. Will highly recommend and continue to provide my business here. Thank you

I was from out of town, looking to purchase a car. After searching online for a mechanic, I saw the great reviews here. I called to make an appointment and from the first phone call to end result, totally professional service. Yes, the place is spotless, and easy to find. Monica was very knowledgeable, and I felt very comfortable during this visit. I had a lot of questions, and each was answered thoroughly. If you live in the area, from out of town , or just looking for a new mechanic trust the reviews and give them a call. Thanks again!

Only place I trust to fix it right. Both the Merrimack and Nashua locations are great. There are about 20 shops closer to my house but I'm happy to drive 15 miles for peace of mind.Most recently they fixed the AC in my car and I got detailed notes about the troubleshooting and repairs that where performed on the invoice.Service: A/C installation & repair

I came in for a general safety/operability check after I was rear ended, just to make sure I could get back home safely and get the bumper fixed later. They confirmed that there was no significant damage to the drive system, and even bumped the dent out of my rear bumper/replaced the brackets so it was looking good as new! I am so happy that I came to Merrimack Auto. They were very kind and ready to help on short notice.

Excellent! I received a huge estimate from the dealer for a list of needed "repairs" and searched for an alternative. I read the reviews for Merrimack Auto and was sold. I brought my car to the Nashua location after hours and they had my rear brakes/rotors changed and an inspection completed by 9:30 the following morning, and at a fraction of the price the dealer wanted. The team was great to work with and I'll definitely be back!

Top notch service, affordable pricing, and a keen attention to detail. I came in to have a slow leak in one of my tires checked before a trip and discovered my brakes were worn down and almost grinding on metal after looking carefully at my vehicle. They go above and beyond with their work, prioritize safety and customer satisfaction over profit, and I'm happy to call them my go-to mechanic.

Went to get my car inspected ( I just moved to the area) and they were fantastic! Everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. The inspection was done quick and efficiently! They even gave me a list of work my car will need in the future and explained it all to me. The waiting area is clean (plus they have guest WiFi). I will be returning and I recommend this company to others. Thank you!

Moved to Nashua about 3 or 4 years back and had a hard time finding a technician that I felt comfortable with. My girlfriend found this shop, and based on how they treated her I decided to start bringing my car there. I have never looked back. All the people there are great. I've never had a bad experience. If you want quality service from honest people, this is it.

Said it was gonna take a week and 100 bucks to get a part to fix a fuse. Checked online and every auto part store in the area had the fuse for less than 40 bucks, easy fix. We just did it ourselves to save a lot of time and money.EDIT FOR OWNER RESPONSE:It wasn't an estimate and it wasn't "booked out a week", y'all already had the car in the garage for 24 hours, ran a diagnostic on it, then I was told it would take a week to deliver the part that anyone could have gone and picked up immediately lol

The team here is VERY good to work with. We have had significant work done on our cars over the years at both locations. You can take advantage of their van service with a very courtesy driver. You can also wait in a very pleasant area and have a complimentary cup of coffee. The office manager is very efficient and friendly. Most importantly, the people who work on your car do excellent work for a fair price. What more can you ask for?

Have used this place several times to get my wife's car fixed for inspection. Solid repair resource.I am not from the area and required some major service on my truck, (Timing Belt, Water Pump and ancillary items).I was referred to MAC by a colleague and I'm glad I used them. My only expectation was the work be performed correctly the first time, which seems simple enough but is a tall order these days.The price was more than reasonable for the services rendered and the truck was ready when they told me it would be. I have driven the truck for a couple of days and have found no rattles, no leaks, etc., which means everything was put back the way it left the factory.I had a positive experience and will use them again if needed. Thanks for providing me the peace of mind you so rarely get when dealing with automotive service centers.Eric

Mike and the crew of Merrimack Auto do a top notch job. Great support and knowledge base. Super customer service. Helpful, courteous and wiling to go out of their way to help me out. I spent 20+ years as a customer of Dick Raymond's Shell/Irving--am SO happy that these guys bought the business when Dick retired. Jane still takes my calls and provides everything needed for a first rate experience.I purchased a set of running boards for my Honda, but cold weather and Ice on my garage floor thwarted my DIY plans! Mike got my car in, did the job and DELIVERED MY CAR to me at my office. They get ALL my business and will get my son's next year (gulp!). Thanks for tremendous service!

Brought one of my box trucks in for an alignment. I worried about the trucks size and weight. But they didn't hesitate and gave me a day to drop it off. They called me at **9AM** that day to say it was done! Unheard-of speed and excellent quality of work with before and after printouts of the alignment! I had a very good experience and will gladly return!

We have used MAC a few times at the Nashua location and have always had good service.Most recently, the brakes on my truck began to fail Wednesday evening. Called Thursdaymorning after 8am and had the "ready to pickup" call at 2:30 with some additional maintenanceto the exhaust system that I requested as well! Good customer service and full explanation ofall work necessary and completed. Thanks, again.

Awesome work. Had a timing belt/water pump put in a few years ago. Still no issues at all. Professional service at great rates. I recommend this place to anyone.I don't know what that dude is talking about a tire patch repair for a slow leak for 27 bucks saying it should be free. Honestly, I'd like to know these places he says that do that repair for free cause I've had tires patched up enough times to know you can't get that kinda work done for free anywhere.

I started gong to Merrimack Auto with an old car of my Moms. It had a lot of problems and would have cost thousands. Instead of taking my money they told me there would be more repairs needed to pass inspection soon and that it wasn't worth keeping it. I was shocked and thankful for their honesty. So of course now I won't go anywhere else. They understand when you can't afford everything at once and help you prioritize. Just the other day, instead of charging me for a whole new exhaust they sent me to Lou's Custom Exhaust because they could repair it for a fraction of the cost. Who does that? Merrimack Auto is wonderful. They aren't condescending, they don't talk over my head, they are courteous, helpful, quick and best of all HONEST! If you live in the Nashua area, don't go anywhere else!!

I recently discovered this place and boy am I happy. I took a used car there for a pre-buyer inspection and they found some issues with the car that saved me thousands of dollars from purchasing a lemon! Since then I took another car there for some work and they were great. They are friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and their prices are reasonable. Chad and Mike really know their cars.

A big thank you to Chad and the team at Merrimack Auto Nashua. My car broke down early afternoon over 15 miles away from the shop. Had the car towed from Manchester to the Nashua location and the car was evaluated and repaired before they closed! Fantastic service with a very caring team.Thanks again Chad!

These guys are great!Went to pep boys down the street just to get a quick car inspection. Those guys told me my breaks were rotting, worn down to metal, rotors were warped, and calipers were sticking and quoted almost $900 and failed my state inspection.Brought it here for a second quote and Merrimack Auto Center LLC told me the breaks are in great shape, no grinding, no warp, and pads are 3 times the width needed to pass and gave me a passed inspection sticker.I will be coming here from now on, even for something as small as an inspection sticker.

Merrimack Auto Center is the best auto center that has serviced my vehicles. I have been a vehicle owner for 59 years Merrimack Auto Center is the best auto service center of all the places I have had my vehicles serviced. Why?? They fair, honest, very reasonably priced, concerned about my safety, and very friendly. I recommend every one that owns a vehicle to visit Merrimack Auto Center and see for yourselves. You won't be disappointed and you will drive away smiling. Thanks to everyone at Merrimack Auto Center.

I have been having Mike service my 2006 Kia Sorento for about a year. It has been challenging to say the least. But, he has done a wonderful job and has been very patient and thorough. What I like best about his service is that he will not let the vehicle go if he sees that there is something wrong and potentially a safety problem. He will call and let me know what his assessment is before going ahead. Very thorough, very knowledgeable, and extremely customer service orientated. What more can you ask?

I had a wonderful experience here. Mike was very conscientious and took time to look over my vehicle and recommend the work I needed done. He explained it well and completed it quickly for a very reasonable price. Why go anywhere else?
