Don't go here. I had a 4pm inspection scheduled 2 weeks in advance walked through the door at 4:04 and the guy at the counter said I was too late for him to do it. I thought he was actually making a joke.....nope guy was actually that much of jerk. Don't think I have ever had such bad customer service it really kind of blew my mind to be honest.

I wish , there is zero star option. Rip off- dishonest . Norm is very dishonest and cheat you with straight face. Charged me $265 for oil change on my 2018 Range Rover. More than the dealer or twice the cost of other foreign auto repair shop. They also rip you off with state inspection. Do not fall for their coupon scam. I showed my old invoice for oil change ($125)from HM Motor works that repair all high end cars and norm claims they use cheap 0w-20 oil.Stay away from this shop.Called next door DFA auto repair(known for honest work) , they quoted $125 also. With so many bad reviews, hopefully norm will try to be little honest and not cheat customers.Service: Oil change

Great service all the time. Professional staff and I have found their fees to be fair and honest. No over sale and they stand behind their work.

If I could leave 0 stars, I honestly would. I have been going to this shop since around 2020. I live in the immediate area and it's always been convenient to go down there for a quick state inspection. These guys will fail you for pretty much anything that a dealer would otherwise pass you for. For example, I took my last vehicle there for an inspection and got failed due to a wiper blade. There was a small tear that I didn't even know was there. Luckily the repair was done at home and I took it back in for a sticker free of charge. Most recently, is where things get hairy. I brought my current vehicle in to get a solenoid replacement to cure my "Service AWD" light on the dash. They did the work, but overcharged me by A LOT. Initially they diagnosed the car and charged me 300 bucks without telling me before how much it would really be. No repairs were made. They said they had to take apart a bunch of stuff and put it back in so the charge was a labor fee. A couple months later (last month) I took it in again after they scheduled a service appointment for the repair. I got charged another 400 bucks for the part and labor. Little did I know, this piece was actually located in a very visible spot, very easy to get to. I'm just lucky I'm with my s/o whose father is an experienced mechanic and works on my car primarily and caught this. What happens next will SHOCK you. Not only did they replace my solenoid, Cambrays also decided to have a little fun at my expense and loosen some bolts on the underside of my vehicle, causing my oil to splatter into my exhaust and burn off. I was very lucky to catch this in time, and we found that my oil (which had just been changed this past june) had leaked almost all of the way out, and I was down to a measly 2 quarts. I could have blown the engine in my $20k car at any moment! I firmly believe cambrays is shady as hell for this, and I know they did it because I made a 150 mile round trip this weekend after we repaired their tampering of my vehicle, and after checking the oil a couple of days later (with normal daily driving in between) the oil level is still the same as when we filled it. I'm never going here again, and all of my friends and family will also know to stray away. Thanks for reading my Ted talk.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

I dropped my car off for some weird behavior on a Thursday night. The helpful staff were able to diagnose my car, get the parts and fix my car by 430 in the afternoon. I m sure they are not always able to day service, but you can expect your car won t sit here for days or weeks waiting on them. The prices were all reasonable and communication was great. They even noticed my oil change was overdue and took care of that.

Brought my car in to have a/c looked at asked a price and was told it depends on what it needs. Called me 45 minutes later to tell me all set it just needed a charge and it was all set to pick up. Went down to pick it up and almost fell on the floor when he told me $402. I questioned the price so he told me to call around so I did. I called Peters Honda which is a Honda dealer and expected to get quoted much more because it ALWAYS cost more to have dealer fix your car they quoted me $230 to $250. CRAZY I will NEVER go there again. When a shop is 40% more than the dealer that s a rip-off

Norm is a scumbag, who doesn t take pride in his work. They only do big money repairs- left our windshield fluid empty and still need an oil change after spending $3500.People don t take pride in their work anymore, it s sad.

Make sure you get a second opinion because if they think you have money they will come up with absurd things to fix.It s also taken 2 weeks to get a door fixed because norm doesn t want to work on fridays and has zero urgency Ask the people behind their building, they will confirm they are running a scam

I went to Cambray's to get an inspection. The customer service was horrible and the man at the desk was very rude and unprofessional. I was not welcomed and received no greeting when entering the building. The man took the keys and did not provide cost or waiting time.I waited 45 minutes in a room with no air conditioning. When the inspection was completed, he said the vehicle failed with no further support. I also have a handicap and parked my vehicle close to the facility. When I went to recover my vehicle, he parked it farther away knowing walking for me was difficult.I will never come here again.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I went to get State Inspection at Cambrey. I was told that unless I buy new tires from them I will not get the sticker. I showed those tires to tire dealer and to another tire expert and both of them concluded that my tires can not be legally rejected as they do comply with State Regulation. Cambrey's representative was extremally unpleasant and impossible to talk to. DO NOT GO TO CAMBREY FOR STATE INSPECTION. State inspections are not meant as a tool for coercion to get the money.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Never going for an inspection again. Inspector couldn't admit he made a mistake and failed the car. Brought it to another reputable place and car passed no problem. If your car isn't showrooms fresh you'll fail.

I highly recommend this business for any automotive work! They did my car inspection, repaired my worn brakes, rotated my tires, and they were professional and courteous, and did a great job and were done quickly. I was able to get a quick appointment, the price for the service was very reasonable, and they even offered me a loaner, which was very helpful to me. I will recommend them to friendsServices: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

This is the most un-dealer-like place you will ever go to - service is quick, people are professional and polite, communication is excellent, and I have never been pitched extra work or services that didn't really need to be done. I have been given recommendations or advanced notice of work that would have to be done sooner rather than later, but never had anything forced on me, ever. Prices are reasonable, and the quality of work superb. i highly recommend Cambray's for any and all of your automotive repair needs.

Have to concur with the other reviews on here regarding inspections. Cambray's seems to charge a very low rate for inspection just to get you in the door to overcharge you for repairs. My car failed the inspection because one of the rear windows, when brought down all the way, wouldn't go up unless you pulled on it. Literally everyone I have talked to since has said that they have never heard of anyone failing for this. In fact, everyone has been incredulous just to learn that they were looking at the rear windows. And these are mechanics and car people I'm talking to, not just anyone. There's also nothing on the DMV's website saying the rear windows factor into inspection. So this leads me to believe that they actively look for something to find wrong in your vehicle. In addition to that, they tried to charge me over $200 to replace my brake pads, which I did for less than $100. So people, don't be fooled by the low inspection rate, it's a scam. I can't speak to their repair abilities, because I refused to give them the ridiculous amounts of money they charged.

Previously had my 10 yr old CRV in for an AC repair. I had suspected it was a relay problem but needed it to be corrected as it was summer and needed for a trip to Canada in the next couple of days . Took an over night stay to verify problem and it was indeed a relay problem vs a clutch problem. Well diagnosed and corrected. Recently, a winter tire mounting and alignment resulted in a solution to the heavy steering effort that I had since a previous alignment at a different shop that annoyed me for several years. Balancing was also perfect based on road test. Norm is good at what he does and I forward the recommendation that I received about his shop and the quality of his service.

Norm and his mechanics are well worth their price point. They are honest and decent folks who will be straight forward with estimates and repairs. You will be hard pressed to find another shop with better integrity

Really nice honest people! There prices are fair and they will not try to push you into buying extra things like other car places do. I would highly recommend.

Never try to pass state inspection at Cambray's if your vehicle is more than 3-4 years old. Owner wants to repair your car and make the profit. In case you did not pass state inspection for the first time and did not order repairs from them, your re-inspection will be declined without ANY reasons.

All Their Work Redone: I bought my car used, private sale and it had a few things worked on right before I bought the car by Cambray s. Namely, the alternator, fuel pump, and a section of the exhaust were replaced. Everything that they worked on had gone bad and had to be fixed or replaced within a month of the work they did. I can say it was not the guy I bought it from because of the fact when I told him about all the problems that were happening, he was really nice offered to help pay for any repairs that needed to be done due to Cambrarys failures, even though there is no law or anything saying he needed to do that, he felt bad that he sold me a car with problems that he thought were fixed.FIRST: The fuel pump, although it was not actually the fuel pump that went bad it was the work they did when installing it, then lying to be about what was causing the problem. I was getting a fuel evaporation error, from the car (meaning there was some sort of fuel leak in the gas system). Cambray s tried to convince me that the leak was due to the gas tank being rusty around where the fuelpump is, and the whole tank had to be replaced. When they quoted me a price for just the part (the gas tank), it seemed very high, I called a dealership to see what they would sell it for, and the dealerships price was HALF of what Cambray s was just for the part. When I told Cambray s this they told me they could only use parts they sourced so it did not matter. Feeling like I was getting a bit of a run around I bring my car to a shop I know and trust, they tell me that it s not rust that s causing the issue, but when the fuel pump was installed, they had DRILLED HOLES INTO THE GAS TANK. So not only was Cambray s trying to make me pay way more that I should for the part, it was for a part that THEY BROKE! (Subsequently I got this problem fixed at the shop I know and trust for much less than Cambray s was quoting in the first place).SECOND: The alternator, at the same time of the fuel pump issues, the new alternator failed (the car could not start or run). They told me that this never happens but the core was bad so the replaced it again, they did this for free so I can almost give them credit for something. But of course the second alternator was bad as well. This one ended up failing about 4 months after the second one was installed, I didn t not even want to bother with Cambray s again.THIRD: A section of the exhaust was replaced due to rust, and a few months after I buy the car I start to hear the exhaust rattle, and like its leaking, thinking maybe another section when due to rust I take a look under the car. No it was the section they replaced, they had not put a gasket in-between the different parts so the exhaust started to come apart, easy fix to do myself. But extremely infuriating that I had to.SUMMARY: Everything they touched had to be replaced or fixed soon after they did the work, as well as them marking up parts, and trying to pawn off the problems they created back onto me. Cambray s should not be trusted, if it was just one of these things that went bad, fine... mistakes happen, but everything they did had to be redone by people who actually know how to work on cars. This is beyond unacceptable, I have no idea how they are in business.

Cambrays does great work and its always at a good price. I've recommended them to a few people and I've always gotten good reports back from them. I've used a few other auto repair shops but Cambrays is by far the best.

I have been using Cambray's Automotive since I was first introduced to Norm around 2004/2005... I have had several of my own personal vehicles serviced there and have never had one issue with the repairs or service performed, I have NEVER had to go back because something wasn't done or worse done incorrectly... Their work has always been impeccable... Norm and his Team have always been attentive to my needs and the needs of my business fleet as well... I have several vehicles that I use for my business and they all get serviced at Cambray's (including a large Diesel Truck)...I would recommend to anyone that requires an Honest, Competent Mechanic (which are hard to find by the way) to visit Cambray's and find out for yourself...Norm and his Team are the best...Al ProvostHudson, NH

Awesome service. Looked at parts in the car that weren't listed and saved us tons of money, as well as letting us keep what the other mechanic messed up!
