We are exceptionally pleased with Son s Chimney Services! Their communication, knowledge, and professionalism have been top notch. We knew for safety and efficiency that we needed to install a chimney liner and woodstove in our fireplace. The Son s team did a great job of educating us on what was needed (cleaning and creosote treatment before the liner install), recommending a stove that still gave us the fireplace appeal, scheduling all the services, and installing the liner and stove. Thanks to Ben for all the scheduling, Chris for the creosote work, and Nolan for educating us and putting in the liner and stove. We look forward to seeing you next year for our annual cleaning.

Don t let the fancy vans, showroom or 30 years experience fool you, the crew and owner at Sons Chimney are young and highly inexperienced for the job you will need done at your home or business. No pride in their work, cheap parts and an entitlement that you absolutely need to steer clear of. Not even trustworthy enough to do a smaller job such as cleaning or inspecting a chimney. There are plenty of other chimney businesses in the area that are more reasonably priced, honest and will treat you like the customer you deserve to be. Anyone but Sons!

Just had a Morso 7110 wood stove installed by Son's. We're very pleased with the advice and service received, the stove is perfect for what we need and the installation was very professional, hassle free and looks great. In particular, Matt (who performed the installation) is very knowledgeable, helpful and thorough. I definitely recommend Son's for wood stoves (I can't comment on the other products they provide).

The repair people came out and inspected our five Chimneys and gave us directions a couple times on how to run our wood stoves properly. We re super professional and very friendly and explain things and it easy to understand way I highly recommend their services. They were above and beyond expectations.

My Son setup our chimney repair and said the staff was all wonderful to talk to.I really want to thank Nolan for his exceptional work on my home. He was so knowledgeable on his job and a really hard worker. He kept me up to date every time something new was going to happen and where he was in the job.He did everything the first day by himself and not a complaint at all, just a smile on his face from beginning to end. Thank you, thank you, thank you.I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs repairs and installs.

we just had our gas stove serviced and cleaned by Matt and we are so happy with his work. the stove is beautiful, with all of the glass polished and everything tuned up. He was very thorough, checking the flue for any animal nests, adjusting the flame, re-aligning the doors so they close completely, and lots of other things checked. He answered all of our questions and offered advice. and when he was finished, there was absolutely no mess. For friendly, knowledgeable, reasonably priced service, we highly recommend Sons Chimney services.

Our chimney sweep (Chris) came out to inspect our stove and chimney and was prompt and professional. Our news was not the greatest, but every step was explained, and our options were very well presented to us. We highly recommend their services. We will use them exclusively and feel very safe knowing they did such a thorough review.

Son's Chimney was knowledgeable and did a great job replacing our old VC Madison stove and installing a new VC Encore Stove. Matt, Nolan, Ben, Katie and the entire staff were knowledgeable and helpful advising us on how to improve our current chimney draw flow, enhance safety, and maximize our new stove. In the end we are enjoying hotter fires, with longer burn times, using less wood. The VC Encore stove is a huge improvement in efficiency over our old Madison. The damper controls, catalytic Flexburn, and top loading feature is a game changer in wood stoves.My only suggestion for improvement is to hire more staff to service customers. The wait time between appointments and communication was challenging at times. Securing appointment times was difficult and I had to make multiple store visits to gain a comfort level with response.Overall through, We are very happy with our new Vermont Castings Encore wood stove purchase and working with the Son's Chimney team. Thank you:)

My experience with Son's Chimney was great. They arrived on time and went right to work. The young man in charge was very knowledgeable and thorough in his work. He took the time to explain what he was doing and made some great suggestions on dealing with the problems i was having which they will soon follow up with. After confirming an appointment they never showed up and when called about the missed appointment said we wernt on the schedule. They said they would call us back about the missed appointment and never did

We recently had a fireplace insert put in place of our woodstove, after it became clear that the measurements of our place meant getting a newer, lower emissions stove was going to be really hard. Ben made sure we knew what we were getting into in terms of price, got me on the schedule in advance so we could have the insert this fall (and we did, for the first snow), and then Matt came out to do a site assessment. He did a very thorough job, discovered some safety issues that needed to be addressed with our chimney (standards have changed since we had our liner put in 12 years ago) and then he and his staff did the repairs and installation in a careful, clean, efficient, and professional way. It is clear that Matt knows his craft inside and out, and I trusted him to give me an accurate assessment of work needed, and not to upsell me. The liner is gorgeous and works perfectly and we are very happy with it. We will be asking them to take over maintenance of our insert and chimney going forward.

We recently had Matt, of Son's Chimney Service clean our chimney. He gave us a complete explanation of our chimneys, the multiple flues, and various liners. He made a few recommendations, but in no way tried to over sell us. The recommendations were those we had already been considering. I can't wait for the report..I am sure it will be detailed and thorough. He was a pleasure to deal with. Clearly he is intelligent, experienced, and a very good communicator. Thank you Matt.

We just had our old cinder block chimney replaced by Nolan and crew with a stainless steel chimney. These guys are hard-working and did everything to get the job done. They even answered calls after hours to make sure we were all on same page. I would highly recommend these guys. Professional and courtesy. An overall great experience. Nice to see hardworking people still exist in this world.

We have been customers of Son's Chimney for over 30 years. We love the personal attention and pleasant staff. The cap on our chimney was loose after multiple wind storms and they did a great job repairing it.I highly recommend this business. Their customer service is above and beyond.

Great service technician...explained exactly what was wrong with pellet stove, how it will be fixed and is in process of ordering replacement part. Very knowledgeable and was patient with numerous questions asked. Nothing better than local businesses taking care of Milford residents.

I love this company for all of my chimney needs! I've recommended them to everyone I know. The staff are always friendly, on time, accurate and respectful. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Nolan recently came out for an inspection and was polite, hard-working and extremely knowledgeable. Look no further, Son's Chimney goes above and beyond for their customers!

We are new customers with Son's Chimney & Stove Shop. We are currently in the process of purchasing a woodstove fireplace insert for our fireplace and our experience with Son's has been outstanding. They arrived when they said they would and were thorough with the inspection. I can t say enough about the quality and value of the job I recently had done. Bryce, Aaron, and Chris worked continuously through the day to complete a time sensitive project. They had all the parts, tools, and knowledge to build my exterior Ventis class A fuel chimney system.Aside from the work, this crew was trustworthy, polite, and professional.I recommend Son s to anyone seeking to get the job done right.

Arrival time was within our window of 10am to 12 noon. The two gentlemen were friendly, courteous and professional. They did a great and thorough job of cleaning our chimney and outlined the addditional work we expected it would need due to the age. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again.

In looking towards having some work done that required a company capable of doing installations of two gas fireplaces, I looked at a company based in Bedford. Unfortunately, they could not meet the simple time frame that was partially due to poor sub-contractors as well as their own inability to have other sub-contractors to turn to. Thus I began to look elsewhere.I found Son's Chimney to be not only professional but personable. My experience was excellent. We set a plan and time schedule and it was followed perfectly. Their communication was very good and I am thrilled to recommend them to others in the area who require any sort of work for fireplaces or wood stoves or chimney repair.The pricing was very fair and transparent. They went above and beyond to correct a minor problem by a slightly challenged sub-contractor which was greatly appreciated. I disagree with the other reviews here. I had nothing but a positive experience and look forward to working with them in the future if need be. Thanks Bryce and Jeremy!

I have dealt with Son's Chimney for a few years. They installed a wood-burning fireplace insert stove for me and I have never had any problems with this unit. I found their staff helpful and professional when choosing the stove and the installation was great. I have had them come annually to service the stove and clean the chimney - they have always been courteous, professional and timely. I would and have recommended their services to friends and family.

Since installation of our gas fireplace, we've had Son's Chimney service the unit each fall (about 8 years now). They are always thorough, courteous, professional and clean throughout the entire service process. I highly recommend them for any of your chimney needs (gas or wood burning).

Chris and Evan came to install a lock top dampener for me however after a thorough investigation of the chimney they discovered a better method to get the results I wanted. I expected it would cost more, but wanted to make sure I had the best option regardless of cost. Instead, their new solution COST LESS!! I've never had that happen before.They were both knowledgeable, professional and courteous, ensure I fully understood what was happening and making sure I got exactly what I wanted. They went far out of their way to ensure my house was spotless after they left.I cannot imagine a better experience and will NEVER go anywhere else. Fantastic!
