I walked out of work to find one of my tires almost flat. I had to drive from Milford over to the coast and needed to get the tire fixed. I was really glad to see the Pep Boys in Manchester open until 7:00pm. The guys couldn t have been nicer or more professional. They got my car up on a lift and got it fixed quickly. Really great service, really great people.

Brought my car in today for a battery replacement and had the best experience. Everyone I talked to was super helpful and kind. They even remembered my name when I came to pick up my car! It took less time than they thought, and when they replaced my battery, they ended up giving me an upgraded model for no extra charge! I m very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend this business to others.

Best experience I could have asked for. They had gone up and beyond for me. Instead of making me wait till the next morning they offered to do my tires right then and there.

Dave was awesome. I had an issue on my vehicle from another shop and his team worked to fix everything and get me in and out of the shop as quickly as possible.He seemed to genuinely care about my situation and it was great to see someone who ran the shop and also turned a wrench.Definitely appreciated how much of a difference this shop was from the other. I could see them trying to go above and beyond for some other customers - whether it was trying to source a particular coolant cap or fixing some terrible brake work done by another shop- Also, they actually had coffee stocked at in their waiting room.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PEPBOYS .Went in for a State inspection thinking it would be maybe 50$ They wanted to charge me $240 for a list of "problems" on why it didn't pass inspection including that my headlights were to low and needed to be adjusted. I just had the vehicle serviced a few weeks ago at myLocal garage and had everything fixed and it should have passed inspection. They have done this to a couple people I know and there was nothing wrong with them. I went to another garage elsewhere and it passed with flying colors. They want to scam you and get as much money out of you as possible. Don't give this place your business. I should have looked at the reviews before going.

The guy from Pep boys was so helpful. I was at the store next door and the guy heard me talking about how I didn t know what was wrong with my tire but it kept leaking air fast. He then told me they could fix it for $25. I was so excited bc I had been so stressed about it. They fixed it and gave me a quote on getting my wheel barrens fixed which was cheaper than everywhere else. Really good customer service!

Great professional service! Oil change & tire rotation were completed on-time while I waited. It's not always convenient to drop off a car for service, so it's good to see that an appointment & promised time can still be done. PepBoys continues to satisfy my expectations for tires & more.

To everyone complaining about the services read this. State inspection requirements are set by the State of New Hampshire. If you failed it s because the law dictates you fail due to whatever reason. Taking to another honest mechanic means you went to a mom and pop shop who doesn t care about their licenses. They get closed all the time.Do some fact checking first.Secondly; Same day web appointments don t always communicate with the fact that the store set up appointments are full and you ll be waiting a while to be serviced. They do care, however due to short staffing your car can t be immediately serviced. Once corporate approves hiring more people then time waits will decrease.Third: Sont yell at the staff for the prices. That s set at corporate level, not the stores. If you re unhappy then that s fine but don t give the store poor reviews because it s not their decision what the parts or labor cost. Also, going to get the part yourself is your choice. But in ANY business there s inflated prices because that s how all shops make money. I ve seen it a thousand times over in 17 years of automotive as a technician and advisor.Fourth: If you want to argue about what vehicles need or don t need maybe get your ASE certifications and state licenses. Then you have a leg to stand on and complain about. Also don t be upset when your vehicle is rotted due to New England rust. Maybe you should have undercoated it or cared more for your vehicle by washing the undercarriage more.For any questions call the store and speak to the management staff. They are there 363 days a year. The staff of Pepboys gets 2 days off a year. They work 7 days a week from 8am till 7pm and sometimes stay open late sometimes till 10pm to make sure your car is done and back to you in a safe manner. They give up time with their families to service you and your family. Next time you want to bad mouth them maybe take into consideration all they do to help YOU.Thanks.

Didn't really expect anything special about the service since I was just going in for an oil change and tire repair. Instead found myself very impressed by the customer service. It is appreciated when it doesn't feel like going into somewhere you are bothering the people working, and they did a great job here.

Customer Service is excellent. I do note that for an inspection they go over your vehicle in greater depths than other shops I've dealt with. To some this may be an annoyance, where as being an uber driver in this vehicle, I find it comforting to know my passengers are riding safely.

As usual there were only 2 mechanics in the garage. I say as usual because in every Pep Boys I have visited having a sufficient number of employees is a significant problem. Even with that issue as well as a computer program crash and a tire machine going down, The New manager of this Manchester was very pleasant and did everything in his power to accommodate me as well as the other customers that we patiently waiting. Your online system does not take into account the stores scheduling. This results in double booking. That is ridiculous and has been going on forever!! It causes significant issues for ALL your locations. You need to do better, NOW!!!! Dispute this scheduling atrocity and a shortage of staff, my evpetience was very good. Honestly I do not know why anyone would work for Pep Boys. It appears to me corporate does not care enough about its customers or its employees.I rated the employees 5 stars.The company 1 star!!!

Had an appointment on a Saturday, made arrangements to not need my car for the day to not feel rushed. I was called and told the service could not be done because of rust. I have an old car so I understand to some extent however my husband and stepfather had just done work wurt similar lift requirements. My stepfather went down to talk to them and after asking about other left options was assured there was a way to do the work with the other lift. So despite my having an alignment booked the day was shot. We agreed to come back a week later on a Monday however my schedule required the car to be done by noon. They said that was not an issue if I dropped off by 8:30. I dropped my car off promptly at 8, reminded them if the need to use the other lift and need to be done by noon. That s 4 full hours, but I had 2 hours to work with as I needed to leave by 2 the latest. I called at 12:15 and was told an hour and a half, pushing the limits of my time but I couldn t do much so I said okay. Come 2:20 I called back met with attitude, they didn t even say hello when picking up the phone and was told it d be another 15-20 minutes. At 2:40 and finally got the call it was ready. I went to pick up and while I got an apology for the attitude I was given in the phone and given an explanation as to why he was having a hard day it doesn t change my poor experience. I understand it s a busy season but you can t agree to timelines and set expectations with no follow through. Who is paying for the appointments I missed but will be charged for after not being able to show up? You still get your money from me despite my day being completely disrupted. Just go somewhere else, I ve never had issues like this anywhere before. The tire deal wasn t worth the problems I had due to the mess of a day. Added insult to injury it could have just been done the day I originally booked had they just used the other lift a fact they admit and agreed to when my stepfather pointed it out.

Easy online appointments but you still need to call. This delayed my repair when I dropped it off. They recommend something (new battery) then couldn't perform the service. Very strange. They are definitely losing business this way.

The manager and assistant manger were amazing!! Placed our order for 4 Cooper tires during Black Friday sale at the Nashua store then dropped the car off day before. I received a call the following afternoon stating they did not have tires in stock and could not give me a date or say we can order the tires.. went to Manchester store and that s when the manager and assistant manger both said they could order the tires and would give them to me for the same price originally since what happened at the Nashua store. After the Nashua store incident i said i would never come to pepboys for anything again but since the Manchester store went above and beyond to get me what i ordered and get the tires for me and get my car in and taken care of i will definitely be coming back to the Manchester store again 5 stars for the management at the manchest store amazing customer service

Awful. Don t go there! Absolutely zero point in making an appointment. They need to manage their time better. Dropped my car off in the morning to have tires installed, only for it to sit in the parking lot for 6 hours to have someone call and sat sorry they are swamped IF YOU CANT GET TO THE VEHICLE, TELL ME EARLIER. Had to call back multiple times to get an idea of if it would be ready and was told sometime probably after they are closed. This would not be an issue so much if I didn t have a newborn at home and had to play the waiting game with these guys all day. NEVER AGAIN. I will not take my business here anymore

They do the work. Then they check your vehicle for a bunch of other things and then offer to provide that service. If that is what you are interested in then I can recommend them. If instead you are just looking for them to perform only the requested service, then I would look elsewhere.

Went here for an installation of tires purchased from Tire Rack. I was on time and they were ready for me with an open bay. The installation took exactly as long as promised with no extras on the billing. Efficient and straightforward experience.

Brought my car in after it failed to start several times. I was told that I just needed a new starter and they quoted me just under 900 dollars. That's a 400 dollar part at most and under an hour of labor. I had the part swapped by a friend instead and it wasn't even the part that needed to be replaced. I also noticed after that I now have 2 large scrapes on the side of my car from whatever pepboys did to it. VERY unhappy

I had a 9am apt for a winter tire change over. I arrived 10 minutes early. I was told it would take about an hour I waited for 2.5 hour and had to speak up at the 2 hr mark or it likely would ve taken longer. Not a good look Pep Boys, horrible time management and poor customer service. After all that I received my car back with the center cap to one of my wheels missing.

Told me I needed 1500 dollars worth of repairs to pass inspection. I took my car to an honest mechanic and none of the repairs they said needed to be fixed actually needed to be replaced. Be careful if you take your car here.

I needed a state inspection and knew I would need new tires soon. Although the online booking system could use some work and I had to reschedule, they were still easy to work with. James was very helpful and discussed the tires I wanted with me. He was also straight forward and answered all the questions I had. The overall service time was pretty quick as well! I also appreciate all the reminders and digital copies of my paperwork.

Had my brakes done on my last Audi. They did a great job fast service and good price. Just brought my new audi in to do brakes and turns out they had plenty of life left over. Instead of just putting new ones on James called me and was straight up with me. If you want someone who is trustworthy and honest this is your place. Will be coming back when it s time!

Very happy with the service I received here. Showed up due to a suspected leak in my tire. Front desk guy was very friendly and handled me promptly.Waiting area was comfy with a charging area where you can plug in to do whatever.He told me there was a screw in my tire and that some of the others were low tread. I agreed to get 3 new tires, he said it would be an hour, it took only like 30 minutes. Felt like I was in and out, and the price was very reasonable. This place doesn't rob you on labor like others, and they treat you respectfully. I will come back here for my car needs.

Do not give this place your business, especially for inspections. I went in for a routine inspection because I had my windshield replaced and really just needed a new sticker. My car is only 6 years old and drives completely fine. They told me to wait 20 minutes and they would get me right in for an inspection. After 2.5 hours of waiting they told that I my headlights lights were too low and I had a crack on one of my shock mounts. They couldn t give me an estimate so I waited another 30 minutes before I decided to leave. I went across the street and got my car inspected with zero issues. When I told them what happened, they laughed and said I should ve looked at the reviews for Pep Boys before going there. I guess I should have. Hopefully this helps someone in the future.

Got a call from them an hour and a half before my appointment telling me they had someone out sick. So glad i waited around all day when they could have called me hours before, but hey they can fit me in in two weeks.
