My car was locked up inside.I live in Massachusetts and stopped to have the brakes checked on our way to Maine because they were vibrating. We were also staying the night in NH for a wedding.Booked over the phone, dropped the van off Friday night, and they said they could get whatever needed done on Saturday. I also asked if they could change the oil and put a new low-beam light in. They said it wouldn't be a problem.Called them at noon on Saturday, and they had just started to look at the van. The brakes looked ok, but they would take it for a test drive. They thought the rotors needed grinding. I told them I was going to a wedding that night (to proceed with the repair if needed), and I was leaving for Maine the following morning. They reassured me it would be done by the end of the day. I asked them to leave my car in the parking lot with the key locked inside (which I said from the start).I missed a call at 5:45pm (15min before they closed), and they left a message saying they couldn't find the spline drive key. When I got the message and called, no one responded.Sunday rolled around, and I went to the garage. The place was closed, and the vehicle was inside (not in the parking lot). I spent two hours sitting outside trying to find someone to open the vehicle.Finally got in touch with the regional manager via the commutations department on Facebook. Luckily he came out and unlocked the shop.No work was done on the vehicle, and everything was pulled out of the glove compartment.Total waste of time.

Just went in for an oil change today. Made the appointment online for oil change and tire rotation. When I arrived I said oil change and tire rotation. The cheap oil change. After about 25 mins they pull my car out. Didn t do the tire rotation and then charged me $85.67 for an oil change. I questioned it and they said that s the price. After going on the website after I left to confirm that the cheap oil change is in fact $39.99. My oil light was not reset and the in and out miles on my paperwork was completely wrong by 500 miles. I ve been going through Monro for years and never had any issues. Beyond frustrated with my service.

Max, Elvis and his crew are all good people that offer solid customer support. However this is the second time I ve waited 5 hours for a simple state inspection with an appointment scheduled. If it wasn t for the staff I d give one star.

Stay away if you value your car! I dropped my Subaru off for a state inspection. After inspection I was told I needed tires and said go for it. After watching the technician seemed to struggle I picked up my car to find the wheels covered in a soap residue so you could not even see the paint. After cleaning of the wheels I found the rims had been scratched up by the technician to the point of showing aluminum. The manager Joseph ( who has now been transferred to another store) told me they had the wrong clamp tool on at first putting the tires on and apologized and would get the wheels repaired after I changed out for winter tires in a few weeks. After I went back Joseph had been moved to a different store and the current manager said he would get back to be after talking to Joseph, so he could get them repaired off the car, nothing from him. After 4 months of trying to be ahold of a manger to fix my rims I m done with this place, horrible customer service and mechanics that I would not trust to change a bike tire. Please stay away for this place.

I have sent them my 1992 Mazda MX-5 multiple times and even tho it s old and antique they ve been able to work with me on putting in newer/aftermarket parts. Highly recommend this shop if you need them. Make sure you contact Elvis if you need more detailed help.

Had a state inspection done. They didnt give me my registration back. I called and asked about it, the employee was rude, said that it was either lost or thrown away and was extremely rude and was saying it was my own fault. will not be going back.

If I could give less stars I would. They lied about performing work, put 2 different brands of tires on an AWD car, and missed a serious safety issue during inspection. Prices are above dealership cost for terrible work. This place is a total scam and will put your life at risk.And it turns out they messed up my brake job causing my rotors to wear down.

Elvis and crew were very professional and helpful. I have been to this location twice and they have gotten me in and out in a timely manner. The first time I had an emergency issue with my rear brakes and they worked on my rotor for one rear side that needed it. The second time I had an appointment for an inspection and I arrived early. I wasn't trying to force them to get me in and out as quickly as they did , but they took me in right away and did it fast an efficient. Keep up the good work and I will be back.

Almost blew my engine because tech put wrong oil filter gasket and oil drained out without me knowing. Got a "whoops, the guy's new" when I called them. Hanover st manchester nh. Save your money and your engine, go elsewhere

STAY AWAY! told my wife she needed 2 new front tires on an all wheel drive vehicle and an elignment without using an alignment machine. Had a second opinion, alignment was good, in fact, to factory spec. I went back and asked how he knew. He said if it's within 3/32 out. I didn't know you could see that well without a machine. Than they said bring back a receipt with an alignment and 2 new tires and they would give me a sticker. No dice. They plugged the vehicle into a reader and found an old code to which I replayed it was fixed they said come back in 2-3 days, we'll give you a temp sticker. Best 40 dollars I paid to never go back again.

This was my second time here, the first was to get the tires replaced and the second was to fix up the brake pads and rotors on all four. Elvis and the guys did an amazing job and were extremely helpful and patient. They've also been beyond accommodating of schedules (they were able to fit me in at the end of the day right before a snowstorm). The people here are hard workers, good humored, and all around a pleasure to work with. I couldn't recommend them more.

Fantastic place to go. My mother in law told us about them a few years ago and we alway go here for inspections, went again today with my wife daughter and dog along with me and Joey and everyone was extremely friendly and straight forward. Our car needed tires to pass inspection and we ending leaving to talk the price together and he said he would get us in asap when we re ready. Sure enough we agreed and I thought it would be about a week to get back in but he got in within a few hours. Over all just a great experience and happy to bring my business here.

Had all four rotors and brakes replaced by Monro. Elvis and the entire staff was extremely helpful and very good job with the work done on my car. Not once did I feel like they were trying to pull a quick one on me. Elvis was very helpful in explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done. I highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking for an honest and quality brake and car service shop in the Manchester area.

Monro took great care of my husband and me! These people are very down to earth and personable. We needed to have a state inspection, replace a suspension in the back of my car, and get an alignment done.Another dealership had just tried to rip us off by charging us a ton of money for work that didn t need to get done. We decided to get a second opinion, and we were happy to find Monro. They got us scheduled right away, and then got the job done at a reasonable price. We felt very well taken care of. We highly recommend Monro in Manchester and will be using them again in the future!

Great experience getting our brakes and rear shocks taken care of! Very reasonable prices and a personable manager (Thank you, Joe), it was great being able to just sit and shoot the breeze about anything from kids to jobs. Our vehicle feels GREAT now, they've certainly found a customer for life!

Monro really does a great job with our cars. They always give you straight answers. If there was a small problem after a job, they would always look at it and adjust whatever needed tweaking immediately at no extra charge. They stand by their work and we appreciate that.

This was one of the best garage experiences I have ever had, I personally will never go anywhere else. My husband and I had to get 2 cars inspected and one we sent to another garage, and overall we have had a terrible experience and swore to never go back. We took our 2nd car to Monro and we have never had mechanics treat us so well. The store manager Joe was amazing and his customer service was spectacular. They clearly care about the work they do and they know how to take care of their customers!

Joe and his team have been wonderful. I have been going to have service done on my 2011 Subaru Legacy for the last few years. I always feel safe and secure in my vehicle. I do a lot of driving for work. Joe and his team have fixed and cleaned my headlights, changed out my tires, oil changes, exhaust and alignment. The prices for labor and parts has always been reasonable. Thank you Joe and your team for taking care of me! T

Excellent service! Went in for an oil change Saturday morning, was greeted right away by Dan; we were chatting about one of my tires and found him to be extremely knowledgeable about tire plugs. Before I left, he told me what the total was going to be for my oil change (hate surprises when it comes to settling a bill!) and said it would be ready within 45 minutes. He also told me they didn't close until 6 so if I didn't come back until later in the day, no problem. When I returned, my car was all set. Just a very easy experience with someone that truly seemed to enjoy his job despite the fact that it was a lovely Saturday. This was my first time visiting this location and I'll be back! Thanks, Dan; really appreciate your professionalism and kindness!

This was my first time at this Monro service center and I was very impressed. The manager was pleasant, knowledgeable and quick to provide my service. I had an oil change and tire rotation done and it was completed in 15 min! I highly recommend this Center and will definitely return!

I honestly have to say, Monro auto service in Manchester ,is one of the best auto repair experiences I've ever had.From tire purchases to shock replacements, brake work or a quick weld to save you time and money I've always had a great experience at this location.The store manager Joe and his assistant Elvis are friendly, knowledgeable and always try to help guide you in the direction that's best for you.i've gone there many times worried about a problem and I've always left there feeling like I made the best choice. Highly recommended. Thanks guys!!

I had the most amazing experience with this shop and need to speak to such excellence. I needed new tires and an alignment, and was riding with a spare on one tire from avoiding an accident a few days prior. I first met with Elvis, who helped me find medium priced tires, he also made sure the tires were all-season in order to prevent me from needing to replace once the winter hits. Although the computer was a bit slow, Elvis was able to help me and would have the tires by the next morning. As promised, I went in the next morning. I worked with Joe this time, and he was able to take my car immediately and begin working. After a few minutes, a mechanic came out and informed and showed me that there was a screwdriver through my tire and my rim. He though I may need to replace the entire rim, which can be very expensive for the size rims I have. Joe took the time to look at what was wrong and began offering additional solutions that wouldn't require me to replace the entire rim. He even offered to bring it home and weld it for me once they got the screwdriver out. Joe and the mechanics were able to put a valve Stent in the rim, which worked perfectly! While I was waiting, Joe took the time to converse with me. After getting to know him, I can only say great things. Joe used to run the store over near Hampton, however now he's running the Hanover Street location in Manchester. This is a man who cares about his customers, not the sales. Joe's superb customer service is hard to find in a mechanic, coupled with his ability to repair at an affordable cost to his customers, and you have a successful shop. I will most definitely be returning here and suggesting to all my friends and family.

Joe the manager at this location is excellent. Great service and just all around a good person. I traveled from Buffalo NY area to visit my mother. She needed some things done and he got me right in. Great professional service. I recommend this location by far. My family in this area will be returning for service here. Keep up the Great work.

The people at monroe are very good people they're polite and respectful.Being a nice person doesn't make you a good mechanic. The problem with this location is that there constantly hiring people and firing people they can't get anybody to stay thereit's revolving door.

Great place to have repairs done. I have never had better customer service from a repair shop than I did at this place. Joe and his team really worked hard to fix my Kia. I was going to scrap the car but the price I was charged was half of what the dealer quoted. Joe repaired the car way faster than expected and now it drives like new again. I would recommend this place to everyone!!! Joe and his team made a new customer a lifelong customer. Thanks again to Joe and his team.

I frequent many Monroe Auto service centers. I live in upstate NY. While in NH on business travel I needed service on my vehicle. The customer service at this branch exceeds any experience I ve ever had. Joe the manager was awesome. Went above and beyond. I would recommend this Monroe branch Again and again. Thank you Joe for all your help.
