I had just purchased a car and was worried about some crunching sounds coming from my front brakes. I called Candia Road and they told me to come right down with my car and they would fit me in to take a look. They did a test drive of the car, looked everything over, and to my relief reassured me that my car was in mint condition and the brakes just needed to be adjusted. They even did my inspection for me for a very reasonable price, another thing on my mind that I had to get done. My overall experience there was awesome and I was only there a short time. I will be coming to them for all of my future automotive needs. Thank you Candia Road Automotive!

Chris was awesome. Inspected my Tesla as soon as I arrived without me having to wait, which was unexpected and really professional. Chris is a huge Tesla enthusiast and was great to talk to. Chris and Cord are awesome. It s hard to find honest competent mechanics. We ve gone here many times and they always help us find the best way to get back on the road without any unnecessary bills or repairs. I always feel good that my car is safe and I ve saved money. Most recently I went to a place down the street because my engine was running terrible and I couldn t drive it and candia rd auto was not able to look at it that day. I was told it was one thing but when I got there to pick it up I was told the repair didn t fix the problem and it would need a haul over or new engine and was advised to just run it until it dies. I immediately went to candia rd. Auto for a second opinion and they found that it was an injector and fixed the car that day and for under $300.

Over two days, the owner worked with me to get my car inspected. I was overdue and scrambling to find someone who could fit me in during my lunch break at work. He was professional, patient, helpful and very kind. He walked me through what he needed from me and was doing at each step. His prices were incredibly fair and affordable and I would highly recommend his garage!

Can't say enough about Chris and Cord; I was in the area looking at a used car for the 2nd time and saw their 5-star rating on Google. Called them same day and explained I was looking for a mechanic to check over the car that I was thinking of buying and they accommodated me even though they were fully booked for work that day. Spent time going over the car with me up on the lift, and didn't even want to charge me! I insisted and they only charged me $25. Great customer service all the way around and that's why these guys have earned 5-star reviews!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am so happy my daughter found this garage. Chris is an honest mechanic and his prices are the best in area. We have been going to him for 4 years with 5 different vehicles and always happy withour service!!! I highly recommend them!

Candia road Automotive has been working on my car for years and I have never once had a single problem with them. It's an amazing place to get your car fixed at a great prices. Very friendly and they get the work done very quickly.

Very personable. Asked lots of questions about what problems I was having to get a good idea of what needed be addressed. Explained everything to me clearly, talked with me about the issue before starting the work. Very fair pricing. Would highly recommend!!

The man that runs this garage is awesome and easy to deal with. I sensed totally honesty and transparency right from the beginning, and I was expecting the worst on an electrical problem in my vehicle. He analyzed the problem, ordered the part, and had it fixed for a portion of what I expected to pay. This guy is talented and a straight shooter. He gets all my business and that of my friends and family.

Finally found a mechanic I will be using for a long long time! As many people know it is hard to find a Auto repair shop that are not trying to squeeze every dime out of you and even do a decent job repairing your vehicle. Someone I work with recommended Chris (Candia Auto) to me and when I bought my daughter a used vehicle I brought it there. I'm so happy I did. He explained what it needed what options were available and prices. Also what to be aware of to be looking for in this type of vehicle down the road. So now myself and family have a mechanic to call our own.

I came here because someone recommended it & won't go anywhere else as long as I live in the area. I've been twice so far & both times left feeling like I paid a more than fair price, even though it was an unexpected expense. Chris actually shows you exactly what's wrong & is super understanding & willing to work with your budget. More than once I've felt taken advantage of at other automotive shops, but here, I know he's trying to make sure I'm in a safe car. I know nothing about cars, but he knows that too & goes out of his way to show me what it should look like compared to what it does look like on my car.To the shop: thank you SO much! I am so grateful to have you guys in the town where I live & really appreciate how much you've helped me.

Awesome shop! Found them completely by accident as I was in the area from MA looking to purchase a car at a dealership nearby. They were able to squeeze me in completely last minute to help me check the car for any potential issues and offer me guidance on my decision. Customer service at its finest. Couldn t be any more satisfied with the level of professionalism and honesty. And I would be willing to make the 40 minute drive to come back for future maintenance. Thank you!

I have been bringing my vehicle's to Candia Road Auto for a few years now and for the most part been satisfied. On my last visit I needed a bracket for my alternator and a flex sleeve for my muffler. When I went to pick up my car the bill was just under a thousand dollars. I was told that my alternator bracket was changed but the other one was "spongy" ( $285.00). Why I didn't find this out while the car was apart is a question not answered. Also they changed idler arms and sway bars with out even discussing it with me. I would have been ok with that if my car ran decent. One month later and my alternator belt is squealing again. I called and was told it will be close to $300.00 to change other bracket. Now about the idler arms and sway bars, I can not drive my car because of the vibration that takes over my whole front end is scary. This place may be reputable with men, but being a female I wouldn't trust them.

After getting the run-around with Midas and the dealership trying to charge me $130 before even LOOKING at my car, a friend recommended that I go to Candia Road Auto. Chris was honest and straightforward and was able to find out the issue with my vehicle. I'll be going to them from now on!!

Cannot thank this garage enough. They managed to fit me in and fixed my vehicle last minute on a holiday with incredible prices. My other mechanic is retiring so without a doubt this will be my mechanic from here on. So grateful to Candia Road Auto:)

I am writing this review on behalf of my wife, who is a travel nurse from Va and recently took a work assignment in Manchester New Hampshire. Two weeks after she arrived there she started having problems with her car, she took it there to have it looked at, even though it wasn t her regular mechanic here at home.They completely ripped her off with a bill of $393.99! They claimed that it was unsafe and that it was the right front lower control arm that was the issue, a mechanic drove her car before and after to make sure the problem was fixed. The very next day same problem when she called them they gave her the old let s get it back in here and take another look at con! This place may do decent work for men or has done decent work in the past, but to take advantage of a my wife who has traveled over 700 miles to work there...Just WOW this is exactly the reason why women don t trust mechanics now! Enjoy your $393.99 for a job not well done! As far as I m concerned they don t even deserve one Star!

I recommend Chris and Candia Road Automotive to everyone in the Manchester, NH area. On a cross-country road trip I found myself in need of emergency auto repair on my Roadtrek Dodge 3500 camper van.Chris answered the phone on a Saturday when other places would not. He offered to meet me at his garage on Sunday when I would be limping into town with my badly leaking coolant system. He even gave me his personal cell phone number in case I needed to call him.Chris met me at the garage where he arranged for me to leave my van while a friend drove an hour to pick me up. Early on Monday I was notified that he found the problem, a leaking radiator hose instead of a water pump as he suspected. He got the part and replaced the hose and got me back on the road without missing a day!I highly recommend Candia Road Automotive Repair for anyone needing help in the Manchester, NH area!! Definitely my favorite place to bring my car if I have problems. I've been driving Elise Cara so haven't had to worry about car issues but I definitely trust Chris more than any other mechanic I've ever met

The best shop I know of with very experienced mechanics. This shop is the only shop I allow to work on my 97 BMW M3. Did I also mention I live in central CT! Yes the service is worth every mile to get there in NH!

Honest. I thought I had an expensive issue and it turned out to be a loose wire! Totally could have duped me but didn't. The location is seriously beat up and run down but these are good guys doing good work for fair prices. Don't expect to hang out there and wait, you won't like it. I'll be back.

My car had a banging sound, drove in because it was the closest place. They had my car up on the lift in less than 5 minutes! Even stayed late to finish the job! Thanks guys! You are the best!
