Zero stars! Beyond the worst place to bring your vehicle! Had a transmission full rebuild on my Ram 1500 and it failed in less than 5,000 miles. Noticed a ticking noise and found they stripped a torque converter bolt and then just RTV siliconed it on. Dave the owner said it ll void my warranty if I continue to drive the truck with that bolt . Oh I didn t know your poor workmanship voided your warranty!Stopped using the truck and scheduled the truck 2 months in advance. Called 2 months, 1 month, 2 weeks, 1 week prior to dropping it off so I would be on the schedule and be in and out. Well a month later he says they don t really work on a schedule they could ve told me that when I called 4 times in advance!!Truck was in for 3 months THREE! before I finally pulled it out as it hadn t been in the shop yet. Tow guy went to pick it up and Dave tried sending it to his other location in Milford without my approval. Don t send anything to this place!!

Don t go to the Manchester AAMCO absolutely terrible service. My brothers car has been in their since August for a transmission swap that said would be done by the end of the week. Here we are in NOVEMBER and the car hasn t even been touched. They won t answer the calls I ve been trying to reach to them for the past 3 months. WROST car place I have EVER been to. I honestly don t know how this place is in Business. Then when I read all the Good and nice people comments I bet it s just the workers making fake accounts to put good reviews.

I don t recommend anyone bringing your car here this guy Dave has had my grandsons car 4 months ago for a solenoid problem after three months Dave tells me that he broke something in there and That my grandson needs a whole new transmission which he broke the part in there so he should be responsible for the transmission correct? Today he claims that my grandson owes him $2300 why should my grandson have to pay for something that he broke . this is the worst place to ever bring a vehicle to. I don t even know how this guy is in business because his business sucks and all he can say is oh it s hard to find good help close your damn doors then you should be ashamed of yourself, OK robbing a 19 year of $2300 .. You should not be in business Dave Let me ask you this Dave would you do this to your own Child, I bet you would!! I hope your business gets shut down because you suck you have no right having a business when you are robbing people of money it s funny how it s always seems to be the same thing. Oh, I damaged your transmission well is this a coincidence or is this your procedure for robbing people!!! You are responsible for the damage, so why does my grandson have to pay you $2300 you are wrong own up to it and give my Grandson his car! I will be notifying my attorney about this. You are wrong man up And stop ripping everybody off!!!!

I brought my car here to have an oil leak fixed. After $2,400 and having it for one month it was still leaking. I Brought it back. They said they damage the transmission trying to fix the seal. They would fix it at no charge to me. They did not tell me my car would sit there for 2 more months before they worked on it again. When I got it back after 3 months it was still leaking. I pulled my car from there and took a loss. They did not try to compensate me. Very poorly run business I wish I would have read the reviews for us. I never would have brought it hereService: Transmission

Less than a star if u ask me but I had to put something. Sent a car there for a SELENOID PROBLEM in August mind you and at no time did they call us and say oh it needs a transmission which u are supposed to do. You re supposed to give the customer an estimate and let them decide if they want to get the work done or not! Well not here this guy does what he wants and don t even ASK anyone !!!!

I set up an appointment several weeks in advance. I dropped off my vehicle the night before so it will be ready to begin when my appointment started. The general manager does not actually work at that location and all calls to the customer are done by her who is telemarketing from two hours away. It took them most of the day just to let me know that they were not going to be able to look at my car even though I had an appointment and later told me that the appointment doesn't actually mean anything because it's first come first serve. I used my entire day off just have my vehicle looked at and in the end it was never look at all. There is no guarantee of service. Never count on this place to look, never use your leave. Aamco in Concord is only 20 minutes and they're not affiliated with this location. They do take appointments. Never go to Manchester.

Had my car there almost 3 weeks and would only hear status about the nothing that was going on when we were making the calls. Should have read reviews first. Taking it in Monday with an appointment that has been confirmed to the Aamco in Concord that is not affiliated.

Shawn provided exceptional customer service and was very knowledgeable.Informative.Many repair shops, especially specialty shops, don t take the time to explain what the problem is/was/could be. Shawn took the time to explain what could potentially be wrong and what their process would be to identify the issues.Responsive.Shawn let me know when I dropped my vehicle off, what timeline to expect, and it was very accurate. He called the next morning with a quote, and my vehicle was ready for pickup that afternoon.Transparency.Shawn didn t try to sell me extra parts/services, just the work I made the appointment for. He outlined exactly what they repaired, and how it resolved the issue.Shawn, and the guys behind the scenes at Aamco provided a great customer experience established them as my go-to repair shop.-JohnServices: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Won't honor warranty and try to blame it on customer. Truck broke down twice and towed back twice too shop and 2 separate transmissions failed they put in. First one they said tow company broke it and 2nd one they said customer broke it due to faulty shift cable. Yet they released the truck from repairs stating it was ok to drive. Then they say they didnt say that. Well why did you release an unsafe vehicle and why is none of this mentioned on the paperwork.

I set up my appointment online for Saturday morning and nothing on the website or Google mentioned that they were closed on the weekends. I drove all the way here for nothing. No one even called me to say my appointment day would not work.

I recently had the transmission in my car break down on me. After getting it looked at by about 3 different mechanics they all told me it needed to be replaced however my car is so rare there was no replacement transmission for my car in the United States. I brought it into AAMCO and pat made sure that it got fixed. Originally we were talking about repairing instead of replacing but he managed to find me a transmission from Canada. It came in quickly and overall the whole process was done in less than a week. Very professional and friendly and he helped me out given the situation I was in with this car. The price was very reasonable as well. I ve had transmissions replaced in the past that costed over 3 grand but he managed to get it done for way less. Definitely appreciate all the help from these guys and how quickly they were able to get it done. My car runs and drives like it s brand new now.

I recently had a Transmission issue, first for everything, that I took into AAMCO, they were extremely professional and were able to explain the whole process to me in a manner that was easy to understand. They provided a detailed quote and they exceeded my expectations. More importantly they were able to fix the problem and make sure it was done quickly. Which was very helpful being that I m a mother of four and need my vehicle. Dave and his team did a great job throughout the whole process. I highly recommend AAMCO on Gold Street in Manchester NH. Dave and his Crew are the best!!!!Thank again Dave and Crew.... power by B****(Tami C.)

Dave was amazing through the process of getting my transmission and clutch fixed. He called me before doing any repairs, walked me through the issues, gave me the price and let me think about it before I gave him the "go ahead". He was NOT pushy at all, very knowledgeable about cars, and genuinely cared about my opinion about the services I was having done. AAMCO is my new go-to mechanic.

I came to AAMCO 2 weeks ago and my car needed its transmission rebuilt. AAMCO did the work in a matter of a few days and still came to work during the storm to make sure my car was finished on time. Dave and his crew were awesome. When the work was finished someone went through the warranty with me to make sure I understood the terms of my warranty completely. It was such a weird feeling to me that my car drives normally as it should. I would recommend them to anyone if they are looking to get their transmission repaired or replaced.

I had a family member from Northern NH break down in Connecticut, the local Nissan dealer went through the vehicle and gave an estimate for a new Transmission..not a rebuilt but new for $3000. Because it was so far away and my family is a retired fixed income family I recommend going to Connecticut and bringing the car home to NH for repair. We called this local AAMCO to get an estimate on worse case scenario. The guy who said he was the owner asked us how much the dealer was estimating and we told him. He went through this long process of why AAMCO WOULD BE LESS EXPENSIVE! Well after 2 weeks it cost my family $5000 dollars. Some how the vehicle needed all new brakes and a battery of all things. ( its kinda like going to the proctolagist and come away with a new set of dentures ) So let me be clear... we brought it in for a LESS EXPENSIVE REPAIR and left $5000 dollars poorer. Some how a recently inspected like new Nissan Rogue needed $3000 dollars worth of brake repair and battery change. I've never felt worse for recommendations in my life! THIS COMPANY ARE THIEVES THAT PREY ON OLDER PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!

I have had a couple experiences within the last 6 months:First experience was very pleasant. I had been dealing with Tina and ended up needing some decent amount of work (this wasn t a surprise at the time) to get my car to pass inspection. At the time this location was not able to actually give out the inspection stickers. So they had made my car inspection worthy and sent me to the location on Amherst St to get the actual inspection done. There is where my pleasant experience starting going down hill. I had made an appointment over the phone with Sergio for the following Monday. I even reworked my schedule at work to make this appointment. I show up and he had forgotten that he made an appointment with me and had no one to look at the car at that time. In person we again made plans for another day and he said anytime that day just call before you re in your way. So I had on that day and again he had forgotten that he set that up. Does this company not have a system for scheduling needs?? So I finally got him to agree to two days later at a scheduled time. This appointment worked out and I got my sticker but not before I was made to feel like a nuisance. My third experience was last week when my car didn t start. I had called and set up an appointment (I should have learned my lesson) with Tina to have my car towed the next morning and have them look at it. I had left the next morning for work with my car still being in my lot at 9am and had a funny feeling that they had forgotten about me again. On my lunch break I had called to check in and Terry answered the phone. Low and behold they had forgotten about or it was never dispatched in the system. So now I won t have my car for another day because it didn t get to the shop until 2hours before they closed.Next day I get a call from Terry they found the problem would have it fixed by end of day. I couldn t make it to pick it up in time before they closed so I payed over the phone. Fast forward to Monday and my bank account was negative!! I noticed they had charged me twice. So I call and get Terry again. I was very calm not upset and waited for them to fix it. They did, that day for that matter. Well wouldn t you know that now I have a $35 overdraft fee. So I call back to see when they will credit that back to me since it was their mistake. I had gotten Terry again who scoffed at me basically and said he would get back to me . We re going on 5 days later of him getting back to me .Honestly they need to really work on their customer service skills, inter-office communication skills and scheduling systems. I will never go this place again. And have already started to let my friends and family know this is not a trusted establishment.

Patrick Cambria, the customer service manager. Gave me by far the BEST and i do mean BEST customer service experience ive ever had, not to mention at a garage. He is Real in a way thst is unheard of in society these days, not only is he honest, & straightforward but he is an all around a great guy! He took the time to listen and understand what was wrong, what I wanted and the price I could afford, while sticking to my strict schedule as I needed my truck ready before my trip to Alabama this weekend for work. I took my truck to Aamco in concord twice the first time they "fixed" the issue only for me to get it back and have the same problem again and when they took it back to find the issue they had it for 5 days and couldn't find a problem... I had to extend my rental everyday as they kept saying one more day and we'll fix it, one more day. AFTER they swindled me into paying for a flush and gasket change I didn't need the first time I was there. I brought it to this one they identified the problem within a few hours and it was done and ready to go the next day ! They didn't break my wallet. He even tried to call my warranty company to see if he could get them to cover the cost of the parts and labor. Gary their mechanic is sweet, and caring took the time to ask me follow up questions about what my car was doing that could identify other unnoticed problems and even gave me some advice on what type of fluids run best in his own personal vehicle all the while not trying to sell me anything, I even asked him to do a full synthetic oil change after even though I just had one and he told me I didn't need it. And not to waste the money. These guys care about people and are honest respectful and down to earth. I don't review anyone, ever. And I am leaving this because I genuinely feel taken care of instead of swindled at this garage for the first time in my whole life. And this is coming from someone who has had her brand new to me truck in and out of the garage more days in the last 2 months of owning it than I have had driving it. Not one of the other places diagnosed my problem let alone for free, nor did they correct or fix anything. I will be back, for certain and if I were you I would bring my car there and only there. Because if it's something they can't fix, or don't think is best handled by them they will tell you. Instead of letting you know 5000 trying to solve the problem they will either find it and fix it or tell you who to go to, to get it fixed. I am so grateful for the service, quality and experience of their staff and my visits. I will be back and you should go there too! Thank you Pat & Gary for excellent service, personal touch, and care for my car. My schedule and my wallet! :) I hope I don't see you again anytime soon, but if I need a mechanic you'll be my first and only stop!

Shady as all hell. Went in for a synthetic oil change and a check engine light diagnostic. I was told my oil change would be around $60 which is pretty standard. No problem. They come back later and say that the oil change is actually going to be $90. I thought that was a little odd but I agreed to it. I mentioned that I had a coupon that would knock $100 off my total. They start suddenly remembering extra charges and fees that they didn t initially quote me. In the end, my repairs ended up costing even more than the initial quote, despite my coupon. Now I have a cute face and I try to be pleasant to everyone, but these people took a look at me and considered me an easy mark. Shame on you. I d recommend reevaluating how your shop treats women, lest you lose half your business.EDIT: Now under new management 5/1/18. Got a call from one of the new owners (a woman) and was offered a free oil change to make up for my unpleasant experience. This is above and beyond what's expected. Changing review to four stars.

My transmission went on my Envoy last summer (2018). I had my car towed to an AAMCO at another location and purchased a warranty. This past summer the transmission went again and it was replaced. Unfortunately last November that transmission went. And I had it towed to Dave at the AAMCO location in Manchester on Gold Street. The warranty was still in effect but the previous garage, who repaired it last refused to honor the warranty and told Dave the warranty was no longer valid. I did not have the money to pay for another transmission and decided to give the vehicle up to salvage. The reason I am telling you this story is because once I spoke to Dave he asked me to wait and that he would do whatever he could to honor the warranty. His reasons for making the effort to repair my car was because he felt AAMCO'S reputation and Dave's commitment to his customers were at stake. After a few weeks Dave and Corporate AAMACO fully repaired the transmission and I have my car back. The only reason I did not lose my car and the money I spent to fix it was due to this man's honor. An honest shop with quality workmanship is just the kind of business you want to go to when your dealing with costly auto repairs.

Seems like previous reviews had a lot to do with poor management, which has been resolved. Went in with what I thought was a transmission issue on a CVT transmission... Something a couple other places in town wouldn't even take the time to look at or diagnose and passed me off. These guys happily took me in same day and discovered that the issue wasn't even the transmission at all; it was something my dealership overlooked in a 60,000 mile service. Went in expecting to drop 4k, and wound up only spending $350 and my car is running like it has a new engine and the work is warrantied. Very pleased with the service provided to me and happy to give 5*

After trying to find a reasonable place to take one of my work truck i found AAMCO . After talking to Matt and getting the estimate i was more than pleased by their fair prices and knowledge into the issues that plagued my truck! i was expecting to be down at least a week but again was happy with 3 days it took! I will be coming back!

These guys are great. After shopping around for a used transmission, I brought my SUV into AAMCO for a rebuild. They beat everyone in price, service, and warranty. Anyone in my shoes can understand how tough of a situation it is to need a transmission. Pat and team were super helpful and were able to provide answers to all of my questions. Though I was here for just transmission work, AAMCO does much more than that. They earned my business and I will be back. Thank you.

I have gone to Aamco many times and in multiple states and the customer service I have received each time has been exceptional! Today was no different, I had called earlier in the week to make sure I could get a transmission flush and fill, I was told they could do it, but it would have to be dropped off. Patrick at the front desk was friendly and answered all of my questions. Pricing is very reasonable so I added an oil change and tire rotation when I dropped the car off and they still got everything done in less than 4 hours. I highly recommend this Aamco location!

Stay away from this place... they are all LIARS, CHEATERS, and CROOKS! I cannot stress enough how bad this place is. My 2012 Chevrolet Equinox was there for over 2 months and still is not fixed; after they claimed to have put in a motor, computer, and other random parts when it went in for the timing chain to be replaced. After 2 months, I got the car back with the service engine soon light on, air bag light on, and the engine is making an HORRIBLE, loud noise. They wiped out my warranty. The owner, David Angel is the biggest scam artist. Cannot get an honest answer out of him. When my husband and I called to dispute cost of repairs he repeatedly hung up on us.They can never seem to get parts and when they do everything is ordered from the west coast. Most likely because they owe so much money to area parts supply stores.Terry, the manager is the owners puppet and knows NOTHING about cars. He lies too and when questioned, his answer is, "What do you want me to do?"I am not the only one who has been scammed by this owner. Don't believe me, do your homework... search for Aamco and this owner. The owner compared me being without my car for over 2 months to his wife being without her gaming computer.I initially saw all the reviews on google when I first brought my car there in July and could never have imagined this could happen but here I am 3 months later having to bring my car somewhere else to be repaired.

I like their service and their prices. I ve been going to same, local mechanic for almost 20 years and am now switching. My old mechanic s price were getting ridiculous. $900 to replace Oil pan on a 2006 Acura MDX and AAMCO was 1/2 the price (and yes I got a genuine Acura pan). Price to replace 2 front U-joints on my 2010 Jeep was $315 and my old mechanic quoted $750.
