They were great in every way.On 2/21/24, I contacted AAA requesting fuel service at the hotel where I was staying. Even though it was quite late, I received a call from a very nice man who offered to send someone out immediately if I needed it. It wasn't really urgent though so we arranged for them to come at 10:30 the next morning. At 10:30am I was in my hotel room with my phone in hand for the second they called. What I didn't know was that AT&T was experiencing a nationwide outage and the phone in my hand may as well have been a brick. When I didn't answer my phone or texts, they easily could have given up and driven away. But that's not what they did. The driver (Bob) must have gone to the front desk and had them look me up because I received a call on the room phone alerting me to the fact that he was there. We got gas and were able to hit the road without worry soon after. Once my phone started working again, the text messages Bob had sent earlier that day came through. So glad he persisted even after unanswered calls and texts! Great company!

Arnold s saved the day. We were at our Airbnb and getting ready to leave for the airport when we noticed we had a flat tire. Bob showed up within 30 minutes to put our spare on our rental but noticed we had a screw in it. He was able to plug it for us and put it back on. We were able to leave on time and make our flight! What great service. Bob was very friendly and helpful.

John and William were super attentive and helpful to repair our car tire which unfortunately got a screw stuck in it. Beginning to end it took like 15 minutes, in and out, reasonably priced and incredibly kind. Would recommend going to Arnold s.

Outstanding service! Twice now have had to go to Arnold's semi-urgently for automotive issues and Arnold's helped out tremendously. They are knowledgeable and will take care of the problem at a fair price and usually right away. Very pleased with their service and willingness to help.

Super amazing service! We were in a terrible location with almost no cell service when our car blew a tire AND the tire seized so we couldn't get our doughnut on. They were able to get the tire off, replace all 4 tires that night and get us on our way! Made the whole ordeal pretty stress free all things considered. Highly recommend!

I was visiting area and car was low on antifreeze. It was Sunday and I couldn t find the right fluid for my car. I randomly ran into family member of the owners who gives me a phone number to call and someone would meet me at Arnold s and top me off (they were closed). I called and drove over. Kayleigh topped off my tank and I was on my way with no more alarming dash lights! Thank you very much !Oh and you should try to diner next door too, great food!

I wasn't going to post because I didn't have anything nice to say...took my light duty truck to get tires changed and waited around in the rain for 3 hrs until they finally got around to my vehicle, despite not really being all that busy. They just took a long time. Another 2 hours to mount, balance and install the tires. Annoying, but not worth writing home about. I got the truck back and it was a bit bouncy, but I thought that was simply worn stabilizer bars, since the truck was 10 yrs old. I drove to 40 miles to pick up a light load (1200 lbs) of wood pellets, and the truck was till bouncing. The next day, before I went to pick up more load, I decided to check the tire pressure to make sure all's well. When I did, I didn't believe my pressure reader, so I used a 2nd one, then a 3rd. They all read 83 psi. I read my other car's tire, and it was 33 psi, normal. I checked all 4 truck tires: 83, 84, 82, and 84. All well above 80 psi. After recovering from a cold sweat for having postponed death, and after cussing up a storm, I brought the pressure down to normal (35 psi) on all 4 tires. If I had bounced off the freeway or crashed into someone else, investigators would've concluded that I was the idiot that filled his tires to 80+ psi and lost control (or wheel bead failed) when the reality is that I'm the idiot that trusted an autoshop to get something as simple as tire pressure right....or at least not DOUBLE it and then wait for it to surprise me. If you have your vehicle worked on by these people, I would recommend you or a qualified mechanic check their work ASAP. Obviously, I do NOT recommend this place.Service: Tires

Be careful using Arnold's Auto Center. They were able to get my truck picked up on a flatbed on a Friday night as they were closing but that was about the only thing that went well.Short story: they caused $4500 worth of damage to my truck, didn't actually fix the original problem with my truck, overcharged by almost double, and then were rude and refused to fix the problems they caused or help in any way.Now the long story:First issue: The tow truck driver (who talked about working 65+ hours already that week) struggled to load my truck on the flatbed and eventually placed my truck on the flatbed backwards. On the highway to their shop, the tonneau cover (that the tow truck driver had unlatched) came flying up and struck the top of my truck cab, damaging the top of my truck severely ($4500 worth of damage). They never mentioned this to me at all and just re-latched the tonneau cover. When I picked the truck up, the next afternoon, I didn't realize the extent of the damage until later that day. I called them to address it and was told "it was not our drivers fault, and we assume no responsibility, you should call your insurance company"Second issue: They replaced my starter motor while it was there, but in doing so, they broke the electrical connector to plug it in.Third issue: They did not fix the above issue, or let me know they broke it. (two weeks later, my starter didn't work again because the connector came unplugged).Forth issue: Again, I called to address the above issue with the wiring, Stacey, the service advisor, told me they didn't have a manager and she also refused to get the owner out of the shop to talk with me. I told her my issue and she said, "we didn't do anything wrong, you can deal with O'Reillys auto parts to get it warrantied if you want"Fifth issue: I was charged $640 for the replacement of my starter. I was told it would be roughly an hour at $80 an hour and $223 for the starter. That is a total of $303 not $640.I would not recommend using this shop or the tow service they provide.

During a recent road trip, we found ourselves in a dire situation when our brakes started failing. In a stroke of luck, we stumbled upon this exceptional auto mechanic. Not only did they provide immediate service, but their expertise in replacing our brake pads and rotors was truly impressive. What truly stood out was their fair pricing, a rarity in the world of auto repairs. It's not every day you encounter such honesty and integrity in this industry. Moreover, the mechanic and their team were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout the process, making an otherwise stressful situation much more manageable. We're immensely grateful for their prompt assistance, reasonable rates, and the warm hospitality they extended to us. If you ever need automotive help in this area, this mechanic is an absolute gem, and we wholeheartedly recommend their services.

I drove up from Maryland and so fortunate to have found this shop! I had a slow leak that resulted in me needing a new tire. I was in and out within 35 minutes. Staff were friendly, helpful, and made me laugh. I hope you don t need similar services but if you do this is a great place to go! So grateful for the team here - THANK YOU!

The two fellows who came to my rescue in the middle of the night when I blew a tire after a VERY long day were so empathetic, understanding and helpful. They did everything to make me feel comfortable, respect my unusual situation (new dog rescue on board) and get me on the road quickly. Very grateful for this company and the experience.

This place is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. They could not figure out my problem from two days of trying. One person test drove it and said he had no idea what was causing the noise. The, so called, head mechanic said he couldn t test drive it because Covid has caused his since of smell to be enhanced so my vehicle smells to bad.

It was Monday of Labor Day weekend, and I needed to get back to Connecticut, but my car wouldn't start. I called AAA, and they said someone from a battery company would be there in under two hours. So when John from Arnold's Towing called to see if I needed a tow, I said someone was coming (without wondering why he was calling). Well, it turns out that there probably never was anyone from any battery company coming - certainly they never showed up - but, instead, AAA was placating me by saying someone was, even as they were asking Arnolds (which is 50 miles away from Randolph) to do it. So Arnold's, which actually had someone close by at the cog railroad, cancelled that request, and by the time I realized the 'battery company' was not coming, and called John back, that tow truck was was busy in Littleton. So I called AAA, and they said they'd get Arnolds to come out. When the target time arrived, I called John - AAA had never called. He offered to send someone 50 miles, but it would take time.So instead I took my wife's car and went and bought a battery at OReillys in Gorham - VIP Tires, which was where the car would have been towed, suggested them, and then told me how to hook it up. It worked like a charm and I drove home.I recommend all three of these businesses, but this is a review of Arnolds. Though they did nothing actual for me, John was practical, good natured despite repeated calls, and a straight shooter. He urged me to take action by pointing out the difficulty and delay of waiting. Without his counsel, I would have missed at least a day of work, and all the headaches that entails.ThanksNat

We had to stop by Arnolds for a tire that was losing air. They were able to find and remove a small piece of metal from the tire, and patch it. We appreciated the help and friendly service. We are from NYC and are used to higher prices for things, but we've gone to shops before who have charged anywhere from $8-15 for just a patch. They charged us $25 so we were very surprised at the price - but did appreciate the service.

One of life s darkest moments iswhen your car misbehaves and you are far from home. You must put your trust in some new mechanic. We found our way to Arnold. With a twinkle in his eye, John ( I think) , said the bill would be very pricey and then laughed. In fact the cost was a mere $30 dollars for a heat shield repair! The integrity and honesty of Arnold s Mechanics was outstanding!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I was on a road trip from NJ into Canada when my car broke down in Lincoln. It was a Sunday. Jon picked up the phone right away and sent Charlie over for a jumpstart in under 15 minutes. When that did not work, Jon worked out a plan with us. We would continue our trip in a rental while he towed the car into his shop later in the day and worked on it. We would pick it up on our way back from Canada a week later.Jon and his guys' professionalism turned a stressful situation into a positive one. We got to continue our trip without any delay. Jon or one of his guys always answered the phone right away when I called. The car was working again when we picked it up on our way back from Canada. Jon charged us a very reasonable fee. They were honest and easy to deal with the whole time.Services: Electrical repair, Auto battery maintenance

We dropped into Arnold s after our F150 developed a stumble a few exits south on I-93. John was under the hood within 15 minutes. He confirmed it was a bad coil. Despite his busy schedule, he had a new one installed and we were on our way in about an hour, start to finish. Ski day saved. It was some of the fastest and friendliest service I ve ever had, especially given the lack of an appointment. I highly recommend his shop.

This team goes above and beyond! We went skiing for the day at Loon Mountain and when we came back out to the car they key wouldn t turn. After trying for hours, we called AAA, they sent out Arnold s shop to help us. Unfortunately, they were not able to fix it. We were stuck at this point because it was getting dark and we had no way to get to our hotel and did not want to leave the car unattended with our ski equipment. Arnold offered to not only give us a ride to our hotel, but he towed the car there as well. They truly went above and beyond to help us and we are extremely grateful for their generosity. This team puts out true customer service.

Owner I was very friendly and helpful. We made a mistake to drive over a snowy parking lot (thought our snow tires could handle). He came to help us get out very quickly. Very thankful for Arnold!

I couldn t have been more grateful for Arnold s auto center today. Came up with family last night and woke up to dead battery in year old mini van. Thank you to Kim Strathdee for her fast response once notified by AAA she was able to get me jumped and on the road to lead my daughter on the right path on the ski slopes shredding! She was at our place within 15 mins of me calling AAA. Couldn t be happier with the service and staff! Thank you again and I will be visiting the diner tomorrow and will post review on it tomorrow but have great feeling it will be delicious just from the google photos! Saved my vacation and kept me outta the dog house with wife and kid!

I was driving home from camp and I heard a strange noise. I stopped by Arnold's because my friend worked for the shop. They came out and diagnosed the problem in a matter of a minute. Turns out my gas tank straps broke after filling the tank and it was rubbing on the drive shaft. Truck went in right away and within a few hours I was extremely happy about the Top Notch Service, incredible pricing and speed at which I was back on the road. This service station and group of Auto-Doctors were no joke. I will be back if I need more repairs. I highly recommend this Automobile care center. I forgot to mention the owner personally shook my hand after and said thank you for your business. There customer service is unmatchable in todays market. If you need a repair, please go see these guys. You will be happy you did!

The receptionist lady is disgustingly rude, I asked to talk to the man who does all the work guessing Arnold she said no you can speak to me and she was extremely rude. The guy always helps me find tires at a good price she did not care and refused me to talk to him when I always talk to him. Because of this I will no longer be going there or recommending them as I always have. Good luck with her.

Despite the fact that Arnold s had a full waiting room, these folks dropped everything to immediately assist us. They skillfully assessed our tire damage and were able to do a patch job before getting us back on the road quickly and inexpensively! Thank you! (From the CT car with the VT plate)

My tire light came on halfway across the Kancamangus on a rainy day on our way to Clark s Bears. When I stopped to put air in I noticed one tire was low and a nice man at a local gas station referred me to Arnold s. As soon as I pulled up I was greeted, asked what I needed, and given clear instructions where to park my car. Even though they seemed extremely busy they appeared to be experts at processing the workload. My car was jacked up, tire removed, problem solved and fixed in a jiffy. Felt like this single mom on a road-trip with her two kids had her own Nascar pit crew! A special thank you to all the fine folks at Arnold s for getting us safely back on the road!Service: Tires

A special thanks to Stacy and John for going above and beyond to help me and my boyfriend in a desperate situation. We got a flat tire on the kangamangus and had to hoof it to the closest ranger station. We called AAA and I wasn t sure they even understood where we were. I called Arnold s directly and Stacy immediately dispatched a tow truck to pick us up. It was past 5pm and Stacy assured us she would stay late to help us. They ended up ordering a tire from Littleton that arrived first thing next morning at which John replaced immediately to get us back on the road and hiking the whites. Very reasonable pricing and can t thank Everyone for staying late, Making endless calls and helping us in a desperate situation. Only wish there were more people like Stacy and John genuine and willing to help in the work force today. Thank you so much for everything.

Drove up from NY Memorial Day Weekend. The Sunday before I left to go back home, my car started making a scraping sound and I didn't want to drive back home without getting it looked at. Luckily they were open Memorial Day. I explained to the owner the situation and had me come in at 10. It was the heat shield. He drove it and repaired all within 10-15 mins. He charged me $35. Great guy! So nice. He also took a look at my fluids and tired before my drive back. HIGHKY recommend!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

We contacted Arnold s shop around 7:30 AM to inquire about tire service we needed. We were on our way to Maine for the day so time was of the essence for us. They open at 9 so he suggested Tim s White Mountain that opened at 8. About 20 min later I got a call from Arnold s checking back if we still needed help with our tire!!!! If Tim didn t have us on the rack already we would have gone straight to Arnold s!!! Thank you for offering services before you officially opened!!! That was very kind of you !!!
