I ve been having my Honda Serviced here for about 8 months now. My commute is over 100 miles a day. 6 days a week. I depend on them to keep me going with oil changes, tire rotations etc. I have been extremely happy with their service and care. Glad I found them.

What a great experience. I m from out of town and needed a quick oil change, they took me right in despite it being late in the day on a holiday weekend. Even changed a bulb for me too. Great prices, great service and a huge plus getting to hang out with the 3 big sweet baby labradors who mosie around the shop. 10/10 would recommend.

I have been going to Lucky, Ralph & the crew for years and always been treated with respect and courtesy. I definitely get my money's worth and then some. Highly recommend them.

I came here for an inspection and supposedly had a broken wheel bearing so they wouldn t pass me until I had it fixed, I told them I d be back the next day to have it fixed cause I was a little short on funds. Came back the next day to have it fixed, they fixed it but all of a sudden there was another wheel bearing that was broken.. Mind you I heard NO noise indicating there was anything broken in the first place but the owner swore there was. It s kinda weird that I m having to rewrite this review cause I had already done so and one starred it so others were aware, but as I was scrolling thru my reviews I noticed my review was magically deleted and changed to 3 stars

I have had our cars serviced at Sanborn's for a few years now; everything from inspections to major mechanical repairs. Always get service that's thorough and honest. Ralph, Scott and Ginny are perfectionists. Consistently reliable.

Wish I could sing the praises of this local establishment but unfortunately I can not! The older gentleman s son is extremely rude and condescending if he is confronted or questioned about substandard work. I believe his name is Scott but I could be mistaken. The level of contempt I received from this mechanic was palpable. In the end, after nearly destroying my vehicle, they fixed their gigantic mistake. However, their lack of understanding in regards to certain types of vehicles is very apparent. The only positives in this entire outfit were the very old gentleman and his wife. Without their willingness to intercede I would have had to take this shop to small claims court! The son has no business working with the public in any shape or form. Additionally, I was in a very specific bind when I had this work performed. Now I've reinvested in AAA just to be able to have my vehicles towed elsewhere. The price I paid for shoddy work was appalling but had the work been done correctly I wouldn't have complained. But the insult is getting ripped off and being told the work was done properly! After I showed them exactly how what they had done caused the situation they reneged It was a very specific procedure that they had failed to perform on a product prior to its installation. Had I not been able to clearly show their malfeasance I'm certain they wouldn't have fixed the issue. Scott had the audacity to tell me to do it myself if I "know" so much! I told him if he loaned me the lift I would gladly do it myself plus I'd want my money back....suddenly he shut up. After that I decided I'd never use this supposed local and honest garage again. I have an actual honest mechanic I go to about 25 minutes from my house but at least they shot it straight and accept culpability when their wrong. Scott should raise the labs or hang out with politicians because his mechanics leave too much to be desired!

Honestly never been to a worse garage. Prepare to get stared by some creepy guy with a mustache while he gives you the bare minimum effort at helping or answering questions.Theeen there's a 50% chance he'll just refuse to help you because he'll say it's not worth his time, I've never seen a shop refuse so much work. Is the mechanic the owners son or something because he is TERRIBLE and I cannot figure out why he would be there and feel so comfortable being so so so rude without something like knowing dad won't fire him.Oh, he'll charge you over 300$ to change a tire but go literally anywhere else for anything else. (Also noticed after the fact that the tire they put on my truck is the wrong size, how stupid can you be)I honestly cannot believe this place, its gross and cramped and rediculous.If you call you WILL get hung up on just because that's how they end a phone call at that shop.There are so many better garages. For a rock bottom experience that will just make your life harder go to Sanborns.

I recently bought a golf cart for my camp. I needed to swap out the tires. It was the 4th of July weekend and I figured I would stop by Sanborn's Garage to see if they might be able to swap out the tires for new rubber. I wasn't expecting it to be done right away, just to drop them off and maybe pick them up in a few days. To my delight I was taken right in and the tires were swapped out quickly. To make matters better, I tried previously taking the rubber off one of the rims myself and it created quite the hassle for the mechanic. He diligently worked to get it off.I was more than delighted with athequick and friendly service. The price to do this was better than any other location in and around Laconia area. I would recommend this garage to anyone that needs automotive services done!

I've been coming to Ralph and family for years, ever since I bought my first used vehicle at 16...Nissan Stanza. Great car until the transmission fell out of it.Anyways, Ralph and Scott have always been straight with me. They have over 100 years combined experience with vehicles of all kinds, and their prices are fair. They do the jobs quick, too! Gotta love flat-rate pay.I always keep coming back because dealerships always do everything behind closed doors; meanwhile, Ralph will let you watch him work...provided you stay out of the way!

These folks go above and beyond to make sure your car is safe for you and you are getting wonderful customer service. I called on a whim without an appointment knowing my car needed a lot of work. They told me to bring it right over. After the estimate they told me they would have to get parts, which was totally understandable, I knew it was going to be a big job. Ralph called me 4 hours later saying my entire car was done! I was shocked! He had me test drive it with him afterwards to make sure I was happy with it. My car drives like a dream now and I'm so greatful for their amazing customer service. Very nice old fashioned service repair station that treats their customers well. I called up the day before and was able to get a quick answer as to available times and days to come in and made the appointment and when I came in I was in and out and a timely manner. They were careful with Covid 19 precautions. They were friendly, efficient and honest. I was having my tires rotated and they checked the entire car ..at no extra charge. My daughter visited and they were able to see her car and because of their car exam she didn't drive her car the 4-5 hours home. If they didn't do this she could have been in an accident due to a totally rusted exhaust and other problem where a tire could come off while driving. I can't say thank you enough for this company and their services and prices.

This place is awesome! The friendliest and most helpful of all. With impending snowstorm coming and my poor planning, I called everybody. No one would take me in. The wait was approximately a week. I called them, they took me right in even though they were busy. After installing the tires they did a test drive and then re-torque the wheels as well. Never have I had a garage go to this much detail in a tire change. Not to mention they have the best mascot in Lucky Junior! Highly recommend this garage

The people are really nice.... but their waiting room is their office and its wicked small and cramped. No seating available. So you have the workers coming in there getting in your personal space, theres just not enough room... nor is it clean... they do good service, but i cant be standing in a small area with lots of people crammed, and them in your personal space. It definitely could use a good cleaning. If your just dropping your car off, then i guess no worries

I showed up without an appointment to get a tire repaired. The owner dropped everything, including his lunch, to fix my tire. I can t say enough good things about the way I was treated and the positive experience. It was much appreciated when others in the area couldn t take me for two days.

Sanborn's did a pre-purchase inspection on a used truck I wanted to buy, and they were great. No-nonsense, straightforward, and very reasonable price, plus they did the inspection with less than 24 hours notice. Scott kept the truck up on the lift after he was done, and showed me everything I needed to be aware of. I highly recommend Sanborn's and would definitely go back!
