We had such an amazing first time boating experience with Irwin Marine. We were able to rent a 22 foot boat last minute and it was a lot less than I had ever thought it would be to rent a boat. They saved me because this was the first time visiting this beautiful area and it was my boyfriend 's birthday. I did not realize that after Labor Day a lot of things close and the one thing he wanted to do for his birthday was jet ski. Unfortunately there were no places to rent one that were open. I actually called Irwin Marine to see if they had jet skis for rent and accidently stumbled across something even better... renting a 22 foot boat which I did not know was possible. This lake is so beautiful and amazing, everyone has got to try this if you haven't yet!! Thank you so much to the manager who helped save our vacation! My boyfriend said he had one of the best experiences he has ever had and it definitely beats renting a jet ski.

We bought a new Mercury 90hp outboard from Irwin Marina. Bill Irwin handled the sale personally even though he runs the entire operation. He treated us as though we had just purchased a new top of the line boat! The installation on our mid nineties Whaler was done professionally, timely and even a bit below the estimate. The whole process was a real pleasure on every level. I would highly recommend.

After twenty years of dealing with Irwin Marine they still provide great service. Brought in a 60 HP Mercury outboard that had not been running correctly for two years and they fixed it when others could not figure it out. Thanks to Jason and the service department for all the great timely service. Norm.

My first boat ride of the year was a short one. I am happy to have two motors since one of them stopped working just before getting to the broads on the way to Wolfeboro. That was last Sunday. Since that time my boat has been fixed by the courteous and friendly professionals at Irwin Marine. I needed a new pump and belt. By Monday the issue was diagnosed and the pump was replaced. Today the belt arrived and it was immediately installed. I have to assume the parts and service departments are crazy busy getting boats back in the water but they jumped right on it and I greatly appreciate it.

Picked up my Pontoon yesterday at Irwin Marine. As a new to Irwin customer, I was blessed to have the support from Rachyll Patten. From last Fall's winter storage to Spring launch this year, Rachyll provided timely updates on all the processes and quickly responded to every one of my emails. As a boater of 55 years, this kind of service is a rarity in today's environment. Definitely a valued employee at Irwin!

Our Daughter bought a Boat out of Irwin Marina last July. I can t express how wonderful this experience was. From The sales staff at the Hudson office up to Irwin Marina in Laconia were outstanding. She was a New Boater. Mr Irwin jump in the Boat help our Her navigate Lake Winnipesaukee he brought us to Mountain View Marina introduced us to the office staff where she keeps the stringRay now. Then drove us back to Irwin Marina in Laconia. Outstanding service. Thank you

I purchased a used boat from the Irwin Marine Laconia branch early this summer and was highly impressed with the customer service level provided by their staff, Jason W (sales) and Scott L (finance). A special recognition to Service department and the Service manager, Rob, who was extremely helpful and responsive following a couple issues I had encountered. As one could imagine, as with buying anything used, things could go wrong at any time. Irwin provided a warranty on my boat and were true to their word. I had to bring the boat in a couple times and they not only took care to the issue I brought it in for, but Rob and his team went above and beyond fixing some minor issues I was planning of fixing myself which were more cosmetic. They did this without even mentioning it to me... high class shop.I had chosen to purchase my boat at Irwin due to their solid ratings and the warranty they provide on used boats... I certainly was the right choice.This was my family's first boat purchase but certainly won't be the last, and I know exactly where to go when we're ready.Thanks Irwin Marine!

I purchased a new 25 Barletta from Irwin Marine and I couldn t be happier with my new boat and their service. At 4:30 pm on a Monday afternoon I was unable to start the engine. The battery appeared to be dead. I called Irwin Marine and spoke with Dave. He promised to send a service technician the next morning. Kevin appeared at 8:30 am, replaced the battery and found that the bilge float was stuck and caused the battery to drain. He fixed everything within the hour. I highly recommend Irwin Marine.

So disappointed in the service department. Our boat has been in for repairs for over a year and a half and still hasn t been fixed. We at this point don t know what is still left to be fixed since no one will return our calls. The only help we have received is from Raj in sales who we contacted when our boat was lost and no one knew where it was being kept. We have now missed 2 boating seasons and they had the AUDACITY to charge us a storage fee today. I have never left a negative review for anything before, but this is beyond unacceptable.

It's easy to sell about these days but when it's done with honesty and integrity for the customer first that's always welcomed. After that because boats are not made in heaven what happens after the sale is just as important. Jason in sales was a great representative for Irwin and treated me great during that process. Rob in service as warranty issues arose along with my stupid questions was there to support me after the sale. Then it's up to the rest of the crew to really get things done. Rachyll has been my day today communication and her timeliness and responsiveness is exceptional and knows what I'm thinking before I even ask! She even seems to know where everything is at all times. All these reasons are reason enough to purchase your next boat from Irwin.

Visited from NY with my parents and rented one of the smaller pontoon boat options. Absolutely fantastic day despite having some rain earlier in the morning. The Irwin team was incredible from start to finish. Reception, checking in and out was smooth sailing. Will absolutely be back next year.

I recent went to get a price for a bimini top on my 01 stingray at this local dealer. I was told by the service department they are no longer accepting new clients, they are busting at the seams. Unless I have previously stored my boat there or purchase a new one they couldn t help me.I get the beginning of the season gets busy for boating but to tell me you are no longer accepting new customers as a service driven business with sales attached to it, this ensures that I won t go back to buy a new boat. You have lost a younger customer with a lot of boating years ahead also anyone I talk to, I ll be sure to pass along the message that you re no accepting new customers.

I had called Irwin marine about helping with a possible repair to a Yamaha Jet boat (SX210). The boat had been purchased about 15 months ago new in another state, but is kept full time in New Hampshire at Lake Sunapee, where we have a lake house. The boat started cavitating last week, with no obvious blockage. Unclear if the problem would be covered by warranty, but needed to have it assessed and repaired.We had spoken to Irwin back when we first bought our boat, but were able to get a better price at a high volume Yamaha dealer in Connecticut. Good experience with Irwin at that time, but made the decision to purchase elsewhere because we got a better price. They were helpful and had a nice selection of comparable boats from different manufacturers to consider.When I called Irwin service - it became clear that they did not have any interest in helping. Given they are a licensed Yamaha dealer, they are one of the locations that would need to be used if the problem is covered under warranty. The person that I spoke to in Service told me they were too busy with their own boats and did not have time to help with the boat, given it was not purchased there. He was also unwilling to engage in a discussion about what could potentially be causing the problem (short discussion- just trying to determine if there was anything else that I could try on my own).I asked if there were other Yamaha dealers in the area that he could recommend - he said he had no idea, and that I could research on Google. I find it odd that a dealer would have no ideas on who else sold and maintained that type of boat in the area.I also asked him if there would be a time when their service became less busy in the future when they could look at the boat. He said that they were always busy, and would never have time to help.I gave two stars, because of a reasonable experience when we were looking at boats to purchase. This experience deserved one star. I was pleasant and professional and just trying to identify an option for repairing my Yamaha boat (Irwin sells the same Yamaha model that we purchased)It appears Irwin does not have any interest in providing service, or even recommendations, to anyone that did not buy a boat from them.Very disappointing - one of my worst customer experiences in recent years.

I have had nothing but awesome experiences with Irwin Marine. I first met Dave in the Hudson Store, who we purchased our first boat from. Process was great, he spent some time showing us different options, models, etc and helped it find a boat that met our needs. We picked up the boat at the Laconia location, where we spent the day on the lake. Bill took us for our first ride, then we signed everything. Once we were done playing with the new purchase, Jason helps us load the boat and go over any other questions we had.We have since run into Jason a couple other times while visiting the Laconia store. I cannot say enough kind works about this man, who always went out of his way to help us any way possible. I highly recommend Irwin Marine.

Bought a new PWC trailer from the only place in New England that seemed to have some coming in. COVID delays notwithstanding, this was a flawless transaction. Good communication with the salesman Harry, and a quick turnaround on origin paperwork once trailer arrived. Easy in/out on day of pick up. Great job! Thank you!

When I was 8-12 years old, back in 1978-1982, my grandfather had a covered boat slip where he kept his Chris Craft. I remember going to his cottage in Meredith, almost every weekend and my grandmother, grandfather and I would go over to Irwin Marine and clean the boat, go over the electronics, check the engine, then we would head out on the lake for the day. Absolutely one of my favorite things to do. My grandparents are no longer with us, but after seeing Irwin Marine on the Internet, a lot of memories came flooding back. I hope that I have the right marina. Lol... In fact, after looking at the pictures, I'm pretty sure that I have the right place. I'm happy to see that Irwin Marine is still in business. It really says a lot about the owners and the people that work there, to still be a thriving business after all these years.We are from Cape Cod, Ma and we have a condo near Attitach Mountain. I am now thinking about buying a boat and, hopefully, renting a covered boat slip, like my grandfather, at Irwin Marine!Thank you for all the great memories. My grandfather always said that if you want to buy a boat and receive great service, go to Irwin Marine. So, I'll see you soon.......

I used to go to Irwin"s with my dad in the 60's, I had not been in for a while, great memories instantly came back. I was looking for a boat. The salesman was excellent, not pushy and very knowledgeable. I did buy a new Sea Ray 240 Sundeck, Love the boat. I would highly recommend Irwin's. Nice people

I m sharing this review because we met Mr and Mrs Irwin at a restaurant where we celebrated our anniversary. We had laughs and conversation and at the end they paid for our meal. THESE ARE THE KIND OF PEOPLE YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH. They are stand up folks on and off the job! 5 star couple

We reserved a boat for a day but had to change to a half a day rental. Both the people we dealt with were more than pleasant and despite being busyTook the time to explain the operation, navigationDestinations with us. Watched them helping customers with parts. Same thing, they took the time to explain the details. Rare in this day and age.

I wholeheartedly recommend this place.Now that I've rented a boat from them, I know this place is solid.New clean boats. Professional staff. Huge inventory of boats to choose from.My group, 6 adults and 5 children, came to Lake Winnipesaukee for a quick weekend getaway.Because of the number of our group we rented a pontoon and a tubing package. Cost us $320-something plus the cost of the gas we used. We ended up spending a quarter tank that came to about $30. So all in all about $350 for half day (12:30-4:30p) rental with tubing pkg.Our pontoon boat was a 2017 model. Seats for 14 people. I never been on a pontoon before so I was surprised to see that they had an overhead cover, Bluetooth speaker system, table, cup holders and was more than powerful enough to fill our time with hilarious memories that'll last us a lifetime.The staff gave us recommendations on good places to go tubing or anchor and go swimming.Irwin Marina is my go to place from now on to rent boats. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to any of my friends or family.
