I was broken down on a four lane highway, in the pouring rain, far away from home. My daughter called Jack s Towing Service in York, Maine. He came right out, helped me into the warm truck, and quickly loaded my car and had me safely delivered to my destination within the hour.Would highly recommend this company!!Service: Car towing

TLDR:CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENT. QUOTED 75 COMPANY TOOK 100 TOOK 6 DAYS FOR THEM TO RECTIFY READ TO THE END OF THE REVIEW..I called on 7/6 have a car tone from timber Lane high School to Midas in plaistow. I was told that the price would normally be $125. But because I was going to Ernie it would be $75.He told me he would be there WITHIN the hour. Originally I thought my husband would be with the car but his ride got there. I tried to call to let them know that the keys would be in the visor. The phone for over 20 minutes would not even ring. Would just hang up. No answering machine no nothing. I had already given my credit card number. I was very nervous.. So I checked my card had not even been wrong yet. So less nervous. I called the guys over at Midas. They vouched for this company told me not to worry about it. Another 15 minutes went by before I was able to get in touch with someone. There was no apology about the phone being off or anything. There safe. Should be done with all communication at this point.THE CARD WAS NOT RUN ON THURSDAY. ON SATURDAY I REALIZED THAT $100 WAS TAKEN FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT FROM THIS COMPANY. I CALLED TO GET THIS RECTIFIED. He said no problem everything should be fine. He also told me that he might have to have my card number again but didn't actually take it down. I DID NOT GET MY MONEY BACK UNTIL WEDNESDAY. AFTER CALLING EVERY SINGLE DAY. ON MONDAY HE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE DONE THAT NIGHT. On Wednesday I still had no money. So I called back yet again and Jack told me " I put the money back myself at 9:00 last night" MEANING TUESDAY!!!I DID NOT HAVE MY MONEY BACK UNTIL AFTER 4:00 P.M. WEDNESDAY 6 DAYS AFTER MY SERVICE.

The owner Jim is no good and they steal your valuables out of the vehicles when they tow it. They act negligent with properly maintaining the car without the risk of any damages to it. They don t take any responsibility of ruining the vehicle when they deliver it. They say it was like that before we got it. The driver is no good and he is a thief. Don t recommend them at all.

Great expirence, Waited 3 hours for AAA just for them to tell me that they couldn't get a tow out to me so I just looked up local towing shops and Jacks was the first result. Called them up and in less than 30 minutes they had a flatbed come by and grab my car that had the wheel fly off as I was driving. Not to mention It was like 8 or 9 at night when this happened. Thanks again guys for the great service and getting my car to it's destination in one piece! If you ever need a tow call these guys up they got you covered

Jack's towing should be avoided at all costs. He would not let my son drop off or pick up his car. We wondered what was he hiding. His guy came to our home and took the car without even knocking on the door. The returned it two days later with a smashed windshield that they said tthey would fix but never sent anyone to do the work. There was something very odd he came to our home in an exterminator truck. He first claimed the car was like that but later admitted it wasn't, and said he would send HIS GLASS guy. He then stopped taking my son's calls. His address leads you to a UPS store and a lock box. Stay away.

Jack's was the only bright spot in an otherwise horrific day of mixups by Jeep corporation yesterday when my new jeep died. Jeep farms out the dispatch to oversees companies and after three hours of mixups to various towing companies by Jeep, Jack found out that I was still stranded and even though I was a complete stranger to him, he took matters into his own hands and just came and picked me up without waiting any more for authorization or boggled instructions from Jeep. Although he was at the end of a ten hour day, Jack came and picked me up on the roadside, then he towed my jeep to the dealer, then drove me home despite my saying I can call an uber and told me interesting and inspiring stories during the ride. Jack would not accept anything but a thank you for all of his above efforts. I wish there were more people like him out there.Service: Car towing

Jack s towing was the only place in the area that was ready and willing to help with a tow right away. If you are ever stuck and need a tow I highly recommend you call Jacks! They ll actually answer your call and will help you when you need it.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

Had a car removed from my driveway. The tow truck driver took the liberty of taking more than just the car. Advice, keep an eye out for driver with sticky fingers.Service: Car towingService: Car towing
