Red's always picks up the phone quickly. Their staff is friendly. The drivers, technicians, and customer service staff are always very helpful and definitely put their best foot forward when it comes to customer service.Today I woke up without oil and had some water around by boiler. Red's picked up as soon as I called and had someone filling up the tank within a few hours. They also got me in touch with one of their technicians to assess the water issue.

I'm from out of town and my engine started ticking. Called Red's, they saw me the next day, diagnosed the issue and gave me a discount on motor oil because it was an emergency. Good people

Scheduled an alignment over a week in advanced. Dropped my car off the morning of and was told it might not get worked on and may need to reschedule for a later date. The mechanic didn't seem to actually want to do the alignment, asked "why I was even getting an alignment " then in a super condescending tone he asked "How often do you rotate, your tires? I'm guessing never." At the end of the day I called and asked if there was any progress. I was told my car was currently on the lift being looked at, but the alignment wouldn't be happening today. They told me to call for a new appointment in a week. No thanks.

After Rymes/Superior Plus let me run almost dry on automatic deliveries (no delivery since October and it's now just after Christmas), and then didn't answer their phone, I called Red's who answered on the first ring, got me set up with an account, and delivered a full tank of oil within the hour. Now I just have to somehow cancel my Rymes account but I'm happy to be patronizing a local business.

Friendly and helpful staff! We are repeating customers. The prices are extremely reasonable. One time we ran out of oil during the winter (my fault for not checking how low we were) and the lady on the phone checked to see if the schedule was open for a delivery that day (because it understandably could have been the next day for our delivery) but they were able to deliver that night!

Customer service is poor, and demeaning. Rationing fuel oil deliveries due to "pricing" . Meanwhile 60% of the US lives paycheck to paycheck, not sure anyone can afford to NOT pay their fuel oil bill over time.Sounds like they have cash flow problems, theyll just not deliver to you if it take longer than a week to pay your bill in full. Not sure how many people can afford to drop $700-1000 willy nilly. Meanwhile other commodities providers operate on net 30-90.Last time ill ever use them.

Red's is there for their customers 24/7. The office help is polite, friendly and eager to assist you. The oil delivery drivers work long and hard hours through the winter, through snow stores drudging through thick heavy snow to make sure you stay warm! A consumer with common sense knows that not everyone can be the first delivery of the day. The drivers work until all of their tickets are done and will do their best when they have to disrupt their route for an emergency. If you are a customer of Red's and your furnace breaks down in the middle of the night, Red's is there! If you forget to check your oil tank and you run out, Red's is there! The automotive and diesel mechanics have more than 60 years combined of experience! They are there to make sure your vehicle is the safest it can be. Always ready and willing to help! Love the family owned and operated company that Red's is. They haven't been there for 61 years for no reason! That says a lot in today's world. Shop and support your local businesses and not the big conglomerates !

Not sure what happened here. I often get gas here just to support a small local business. Guys always seemed friendly. But, they were total a-holes when my wife asked about getting an inspection sticker. Extremely rude and then behaved very annoyed at the prospect of potentially having to do this work at all. I still believe in supporting local businesses and the guy that works the pump is as nice as they come. But maybe don t take the sign seriously that says no appointment needed for an inspection sticker if you re a woman and don t want to get laughed at.

Went for an inspection sticker and was treated so with such a lack of respect. Inspection technician was swearing and being disrespectful would not recommend anyone going to reds in Jaffrey nh. Terrible business ethics blatantly being sworn at over the phone then hung up on when he didn't want to hear what the CUSTOMER had to say or questions I had. Stay far away. There's a reason this shop is dwindling away to foreclosure. Go to gautheirs on the other end of town. Always respectful and patient with their customers.

Unbelievably slow to deliver oil, even to customers who are loyal to them, while others are going to Coyote, Allen & Mathewson, & Haffner's. The furnace repair guy is, frankly, a jerk. He shoots off his mouth, says whatever he wants to, rude, unnecessary, or otherwise. To make matters worse, he talks & talks & talks (even when he's done with the furnace, he just stands in the door way, talking non-stop), meanwhile complains that he's the only repair guy at Red's & how work is so busy for him - maybe if he didn't spend 2/3 of the time chatting! He's even proud of his behavior, bragging about how rude he was to other customers & how they complained but he, & the owner, didn't care. The women in the office can't even be bothered to answer the phone properly, they're a business, yet they answer the phone, "Hallo?" instead of "Red's of Jaffrey?" or "Reds?", etc, & they're no where near friendly either, they're barely polite. After having our furnace repaired not twice, but three times in a matter of a month, there was no way we were going to pay for the 3rd visit (if it'd been fixed properly the 2nd time, there wouldn't have been a need for a 3rd visit). It took two months to get the owner to call us back & clear the bill for us, after we called several times/week for weeks to discuss the bill with the owner & even received "past due" notices in the mail. Would not recommend.
