I bought a used Civic from these guys a few months ago. When first test driving it, the serpentine belt was worn, wipers were broken, engine valve cover was leaking, and AC wasn't working. They took those issues into their own hands and fixed everything up on it before letting me drive away with it. They also got it inspected too. They did excellent work and helped me navigate through checking out and driving the car. The price given was very fair considering the additional work they were putting into it before getting it on the road / passing state inspection. Some of the other reviewers here need to properly assess the car they're buying. These are still used cars and will always come with problems under the surface (just had to replace the head gasket in this one). Over all, good experience buying from them.

So I originally posted a good post but as weeks went by this guy is full of excuses he buys cars don t check them before he sells them my daughter has had to go back 3 times he put a 60 day emission sticker on cause he said it threw a code which we never seen. He replaced the tires shocks and another part.We had it inspected by another mechanic and they failed it cause there was no bulbs in the fog lights. When I called him he got angry that we went somewhere else He s a sneak and now there is a noise in the rear end and when we brought it to his sons attention they replied as it s not that bad of a noise .The radio had a short in it .So now the car is sitting up at the states d o t inspection station and they have found multiple things wrong with the safety of the vehicle. Please do your self a favor stay away from this company nothing but problems ty

My family and I have done business with John and his son many times over the past year and they have gone far more than above and beyond. Initially, they gave my brother and I a deal on a Dodge Nitro and a Scion TC. A deer ended up jumping in front of my brother s car, totaling it, and JR helped us out and gave us yet another deal on a Mustang (it s awesome). In addition to this, JR has personally addressed the issues that these cars have had (they are cheap and have had some problems). For example, the master cylinder broke in the mustang, and they fixed it for only the price of the part. And again, when the transmission lines in my Nitro began leaking, they helped supply the part for Sullivan Tire to replace, which saved me nearly $500. I highly recommend buying your first car at JR s. While some of the cars may be cheap, he stands behind the issues that arise and genuinely wants his buyers to have a safe, reliable car.

The first honest car dealers I've met. They are up front, fair and good people. This is a pop and son shop, been in the business forever, they know what they're doing and they do it well. They're gonna get you the best deal on a good car, treat you fairly, they don't discriminate and they have an adorable dog as a bonus! I'm gonna keep going back. I highly recommend them.

The guys at JR s went ABOVE & beyond for me. This has 10/10 been the best experience I ve ever had purchasing a car. These guys are not only reliable, but they re trustworthy & honest. I would give 10 more stars if I could. If you re looking for a used vehicle, this is definitely the place to go! You ll be as impressed with your experience as I am with mine!

I listen to the owner scream and yell at a woman trying to buy a car. She was calm, asking questions, and this man went crazy on her for a miscommunication in his own dealership. Some of his cars need work, but they try and pass them off as working. When you question it, he will yell at you and tell you he doesn't need your money or headache for asking questions. He needs anger management classes or get out of the business if he doesn't know how to treat customers. I will take my business to a place that treats customers right.

This dealership has had someone review bomb them. It's a father and son shop, highly respectable, and have been in this field of work since their grandfather's shop. They sold me a very clean car, and I couldn't be happier. Car runs great, and just came off the truck from the dealership. Must've been a trade in. Highly recommend these people they've sold me, and two of my family friends great cars.

I went car shopping with my mother. A job we hate doing as two women. I always feel as though we aren't being taken seriously or that we are being taken advantage of. We stopped in at Jr.'s Rt. 3 Auto Connection in Hudson, NH. Jr., the owner and his son were extremely friendly and helpful. We purchased a very clean well maintained vehicle. My mother loves it!! About two months after we purchased it, a belt malfunctioned on it. I was in the Hospital so I had my mother bring it back to Jr. alone. He was so helpful to her. He had her sit and wait for a little bit. He then came out and told her she was all set.. She tried to pay him, but he felt told her not to worry about it saying it was the least he could do. So obviously people can't run a business just handing out free work all the time, so I just wanted to Thank them so much for taking care of my mom when I couldn't .Sincerely,Jeanny White

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER! He will lie to get you to place a non refundable deposit on a garbage car with catastrophic problems. He tried to tell me that a one owner Lexus was super clean, would run for 300,000 miles, and had a sunroof he wanted to swap for his own broken sunroof. Not to mention he had swapped the gauge cluster because "the cluster went dark." Then he trys to tell me the grinding noise I heard "was normal for that motor and would go away when warmed up."I went back during the day time: turns out the car had been in a rear end collision. Not to mention both the water pump and valve cover were leaking enough oil to seize the motor if i drove it home. The car also needed a timing belt and the sunroof leaked so much there was water on the center console. When I went inside and told him I was still interested but I needed to price out parts, he told me "good luck finding a car, but it won't be from my lot!"Avoid this guy like the plague and if you've had a bad experience, please file a report with the BBB NH branch.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MAN. He has been scamming people for years and all he does is buy a new building and change the name. He has a habit of swapping gauge clusters so the car looks like the car has less miles than it really has. He will tell you its a one owner car with low miles but you won't even make it home so I hope you know a good tow truck driver. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MAN OR HIS SON.

Absolutely the worst place to buy a vehicle. The guy is dishonest and unfair, vehicle was guaranteed to pass inspection but the "battery died" so we had to wait for inspection. Did not pass, lower ball joints were gone and he was supposed to replace, rotted spots on frame, EVAP leak somewhere and he even had my wife's Grandfather pay extra for that stuff to be fixed. If buying from here be careful or go somewhere else. I like Roy's on Ferry St in Hudson a lot better, it's a shop but they do sales as well

This was one of the worst car buying experiences my father and I have ever had. This guy not only put me in a vehicle that had so many issues after bringing it to two garages he recommended, BUT my father bought another car off of him a few months back with a faulty anti theft system that he said "Ford could only fix it". Well this is the actually story; I had a lot of car issues with another dealership back in 2015 and my father, being very generous, bought me a new car so I could drive back and forth to and from work/ school. My father had trust in this guy so I automatically have trust cause I trust his opinions. I test drove a 2009 Chevy Cobalt "SS", it wasn't even an SS. It was a base model with the sports coupe wheels that were painted black to make it look "sporty". He also said it had "ecoboost" which, everyone knows are only found in Fords cause that's what there Eco "term". So the guy let me test drive it and I was thinking to myself the whole time "this car is not even 10 years old yet and it drives like absolute crap". But knowing that my dad was taking all of his time and efforts to make this happen for me I just sucked it up and said it was fine. After all that the guy asked my father to put down a deposit on the car until he returned from his vacation so him and my dad could sit down and sign the papers. He basically gave my father the car without a legal Purchase of Agreement contract and title. The guy brought it to Meineke to have the breaks done and for them to go through it. I picked up the car a couple days later and on my way home the car broke down on me and the power steering shut off while I was driving the car. I left for Mexico the next day for vacation for a week and then came back thinking maybe it just needed to settle in. When I came home the car was even worse. There was oil all over my garage floor, the power steering shut off while I was driving, the engine was more loud, it would stall on me when I put it in reverse, and the car ate gas like it was its job. My father called the guy and he suggested I would take it to Rods Mechanic in Nashua, NH off Main ST. After the car being there for a few hours the mechanic said "nothing was wrong with the car and that it ran great". I told my father after my father was experiencing the same difficulties he just called the owner back and asked for his money back and that he would drop the car off. The owner started cussing at him, calling him the worst names, threatening him, saying his attorney will "call him", and just being plain out rude. We dropped the car off and my father ended up purchasing a Saab 93 Aero from a guy in Hampstead and had no issues with this car. My father reported him to his credit card company and the company refunded him for the whole amount. We also hired a lawyer for small claims court. This guy is a conartist and a scam artist. Come to find out he sells salvaged cars, fixes them up, and sells them. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY VEHICLE from this guy. He's a piece of junk and should be put out of business.

I purchased a 2003 Ford explorer sport trac. They told me it was as safe truck. There were no rear brakes a bad rear end, bad four wheel drive and no a.c... All in which they advertised all in perfect condition. Buyer beware. If you plan on purchasing have a thourou overlook from some other shop. BE CAREFUL.Not even 24 hrs after I placed this warning. He calls me . He is very dishonest. I seek class action lawsuit... FOR SELLING UNSAFE AUTOMOBILES.

I spoke with JR over the phone, and he told me his 1994 lexus sc400 was excellent condition. I drove all the way from bar harbor maine, over 200 miles to find an ok condition car with scratches and rust plus oil dripping from motor. On the phone he also told me it's been his personal car since 2007.... but on windshield of car it says 1 owner which is false because he bought from original owner in 2007 then put 100k miles on car. Typical salesman liar.

Wishing these bad reviews would have been available to me. I warn all of you to stay away from this lot where he takes pride he is a "businessman".He does a really nice job of cleaning the vehicles up, but do not let the outside fool you. This one I should have known right off the bat when it wouldn't start. He said it was from sitting to long and had me jump it. It started fine after that as he had me go with him to "his auto place" to get inspection done. Not sure how it passed.I get the vehicle home and I don't drive it much. Maybe 3 weeks or so later I cant get it to start, and when I try to open the hood I can't. It takes 2 people to open it, one pushing on the hood. I reach out to him and he finally gets back to me, irritated I am bothering him because he is busy because he is a "businessman." He tells me to push while someone pulls, and I get the battery out and buy a new one. Try to start it today, same thing. I get it jump started and while running notice once it warms up smoke is coming from the engine. Guessing it needs a new head gasket minimum. Now mind you, I have put maybe 50 miles on this thing. There is no way he and the "garage" he had do inspection didn't know this. And..he got top bluebook cash out of me for it. So while I agree he is quite a businessman, if you want a good vehicle go with someone else.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MAN, what a con artist he is. tells you every lie you would ever want to hear about a car to make money, and you'll belive him because he talks about the family man he is, the car will last well over 300,000 miles, i fix all problems, ill get you a "honest" sticker. NO he pairs up with a guy to get a sticker, but it deff isnt honest. Lies and cheats everyone. two days after spending 4,000 my car wasnt running right, he took it to his buddies shop. "fixed it" to come back if it wasnt properly running, came back, and he wont do anything for me, saying this car was perfect, i need to realize i bought a used car and theres going to be issues, already replaced 3 tires, and he wont hold his word on fixing my car. I waited to long, IT STILL HASNT EVEN BEEN A MONTH. now my car needs well over 2,000 $ in parts and labor, and guess whose paying for it, ME, when he sold me the car, anything that went wrong he was to fix it, and to come back if it wasnt fixed correctly, now im a liar, and he hangs up on people. VERY rude when you confront him. i will be fileing with the BBB NH about this one, I am not pleased. bought in June of 2017 and my car is already garbage. 4 thousand dollars later.

I honestly do not have enough good words about this man and his business! He knew that I was a college student and money was tight, he did everything he could to ensure I was driving away with a safe and reliable vehicle. I would encourage any of my friends and family to buy from this man. Anyone who suggests otherwise clearly does not know how hard he works to ensure happiness from all his customers!

Stopped in to check out a car for my daughter. John and his son are very nice, friendly, and helpful. They have quality vehicles. They repair the cars that are sold so its ready to be picked up.

Worst place to deal with. I had to put one star, because I can't post with no stars which is what this place deserves. The "owner" is rude, obnoxious and believes he knows all. After a discussion, if you can call it that, he told me he was doing me a favor by even talking to me after the sale and told me to "lose the attitude" if I ever called him back again. Funny thing is, I had no attitude, I asked him if he could stop talking over me to get all of the information and then he could respond. Apparently that counts as attitude. Will be spreading the word not to deal with this place.

REVIEW FROM DSMITH IS JR HIMSELF, GIVING HISSELF A FALSE REVIEW BECAUSE HE SEES ALL THE REAL REVIEWS ON HIMSELF AND WANTS TO STILL PAINT A PRETEND PICTURE. TAKE A LOOK AT HIS PICTURE SECTION ON THE PROFILE ANWAYS.... I would not have bought from this man if I had read these reviews first, I like many other people have bought a car from him thinking it was a good reliable car like he told me, car is a piece of junk. Doesn't go over 20 mph, called him to kindly tell him I'm having an issue, and says " what do you expect you're buying a used car there's going to be issues yells at me hangs up and gives attitude" very unimpressed and now again after spending almost $4,000 I'm looking for a new car when I don't have the funds to do so

Don't trust him... Simple as that, even more so make sure you do your research because he'll throw smoke up your ass. He is sleezy, manipulative, and to top it off he's still in business which is sad because what he's done to me I'm sure he does to many people. If you are considering buying from this place. Stop.
