One of the most advantageous thing I noticed was that Monro s were open on a Sunday! That was when I first went, and I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get an appointment for the next day. The convenience of having a repair shop open on Sunday is a huge benefit. I m originally from New York City and we have car repair shops open 7 days per week. Here in New Hampshire it s a struggle, and the this made me happy to see Mono s open Sunday. Unfortunately they are short staffed and that was why I couldn t get my repair done that day. The intake staff member who was also a mechanic made up for me being disappointed in not being serviced that same day. He was very professional, patient and friendly. He gave me an estimate of time and cost but did not deviate from it. Everything seems to be working perfectly now. Huge thanks to the team at Monro s!!

Scheduled a car inspection. They sent confirmation of said inspection appointment. I arrive only for the guy at the desk to tell me no one was in to do an inspection. I asked if I could schedule when one was was in at which point he got huffy and passive aggressive stating they don't have one period even though it says they not only are able to on the website but also have a sign in front of the establishment stating they do. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If I could give zero stars I would

Set up an appointment for state inspection which was confirmed. I took the day off from work to take care of this and when I arrived, I was told that they did not have an inspector. They said they notified me by email but I never received any notification. They have lost my business.

I would put no stars if I could. The guy who helped me at the front desk was very nice I believe his name was Dave. Scott who answered the phone when I called to let them know what happened to it didn t happen to someone else . He has no customer service skills he was yelling at me telling me it s impossible that happened and it was my fault. I should have known the tires needed different lug nuts. I said why would I know that I m not a mechanic that s what you guys are paid for to inform us of what s needed and not let us drive off with our tires falling off. Thank for my son wasn t in the car and no was was hurt.

Our car broke down on our way to Boston from Vermont. We took it to this location The staff was super nice and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much.

Got a flat tire late at night on the highway and had my pickup truck towed here as this seemed to be one of the only auto shops open on a holiday weekend. Went by early in the morning and Kyle at the shop was able to get a new tire for me. Very thankful they could fit in this service for me today on a busy weekend. Good location and I d recommend this shop to anyone in need of auto care. Thanks, Monro!

Kyle and his crew have taken care of both my car and my fianc�s car. He s always top notch with the customer service and if something is not to my liking he always makes it right! One example their tire mounting machine couldn t handle my rear wheels. They brought it to an adjacent business for me and had them done in the same amount of time. Great people. Thanks a lot! I ll be back.

Went in and no one was to be found at the desk which has happened before until I finally had to open the door to the shop and find someone.. nice guy named Mike helped me but unfortunately I'm not the only person this has happened to.. this place has gone downhill bad.

After having another service facility where I had an appointment cancel because their computer system was down , these guys squeezed me in for a much needed oil change with no notice! Total life savers!!! Very personable and professional guys that go above and beyond! Highly recommend!

Great guys! Came here on a whim after finding a screw in my tire. They removed the screw and patched the tire very quickly, free of charge! I was lucky that they weren t busy- if you plan to come here, you ll generally need to make an appointment at least a couple of days in advance. After today, this is my new go-to spot for urgent car repair needs.

I went in for a state inspection and my vehicle started making a rotational chirping noise from driver side front shortly after. I brought it back for a check and was told that it's my roof rack and nothing was wrong. The roof rack was installed by myself a year prior. The noise happened when traveling straight or turning right only. Their claim didn't make any sense. I was also told my baffled/chambered aftermarket muffler, which is within legal noise spec, was too loud to hear anything. Well if you let off the throttle it is quiet, and even on the throttle you can hear it. The noise was loud enough for bystanders to stare at me as I passed by and I couldn't stand to drive with my window down due to annoyance. I was also told my vehicle needs two mounts (engine and trans). They hastily quoted me approx. $1000 for the job. My vehicle really has three mounts, not two. I bought all three for $149 myself and did it in my driveway. The most worn mount was the one they missed. I also found the noise problem myself. I found that my driver front inboard rotor dust cover/guard was bent. I simply used a flathead screwdriver to bend it back into place. The noise was gone and I saved myself $850 and will not be returning.

These guys are great! I was there from out of town to look at buying a used car. Jared and Mike took a look at it for us before we made the purchase to ensure it was in good shape. They took it in as soon as we drove up. They were thorough and friendly, talking us through everything they were checking. The service was fast and so helpful! I don't live nearby but would still strongly consider making the drive to bring my car there for work in the future.

Had a leak in one of my tires. I called Monro of Hooksett and asked about patching it. They told me to come on by, and they'd take a look. We were doing home reno lately, and somehow I ran over a nail. They found the nail, patched the tire, filled her up and sent me on my way, free of charge. Now THAT is how you ensure that customer returns for any needed repairs down the road. Great business practice there. Thanks guys!

Brought these gentleman an alternator i needed to swap a pulley onto. They were fast and friendly, more than willing to help where other shops weren t. Would highly recommend the service here, been coming here for years and will continue to be a loyal customer.

I always have a great experience at Monro. The staff is very friendly and efficient. It's a great deal for an oil change. I also recently had a nail in my tire and they were able to quickly help me get back on the road. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Generally good. They are honest, speedy and friendly.Only 4 stars because on inspection they determined my car (Nissan Leaf) needed a front control arm, but they couldn't find an aftermarket replacement for it, so the estimate to replace was $1100, the bulk of that in the part itself - $700 from Nissan. I got an estimate from a shop that has worked on our Leaf before, and he gave a much lower estimate - $597. This was because he has a source for good quality aftermarket parts for the Nissan Leaf.So, generally good, but they may not be able to source aftermarket parts if you need replacements.

These guys are great! I drive a foreign car so it s pricey to begin with, but they make sure to give me multiple options so I don t break the bank. Their work is efficient and thorough. Monroe in Hooksett will always have my business. Kind staff and very knowledgeable!

I had a flat tire on Sunday late afternoon, I had called all the closer locations but they were closed or closing soon and unable to fit us in. When I called Monro they were helpful and kind, despite 15 minutes until closing. When I arrived they had my tire repaired within 15 minutes and we were on our way. I am so thankful they were able to help and I will be using them for anything I can going forward! Thank you guys so much.

I have to give Monroe 5 stars. They are always super friendly helpful and affordable. They are my first choice for my auto repair. Tonight they squeezed me in at closing to repair my tire and get me back on the road.

We had an amazing experience with Keith and Mike at Monro auto! We re from out of town and were driving through the area when our car s overheating alert kept going off. After doing a full review of the car they were able to find the root of the problem. They let us know this usually would take more than a day to fix, but Keith promptly found a new part close by and they both stayed late to completely finish the issue to allow us to leave with the fixed car only a couple hours later. Not to mention it was a Sunday late afternoon which made it more difficult to locate new parts in the area. They were extremely accommodating, friendly, and kept us looped in during the whole process. 100% recommend coming here with any car issues. Our expectations were exceeded. Thank you so much Keith and Mike!!

Had an after market valve stem stuck on my tire that I needed help with taking off. Randomly stopped at Monroe to help me out. The team was right on it and super fast to fix the issue. Thank you Jacob, Jared, Kyle & Mike for your great customer service and saving the day! Would recommend you guys any day of the week! Thank you for helping out!

Call & price estimate for the services. Make a appt today. I show up an appt.There were two staff.One man came & check-in, who is very terrible, unprofessional, poor customer service, speak so loudly with no respect & no politeness. Prices change which means higher prices than we discussed on phone for the services.Waste of time! Unprofessional! Lack customer service! No respect!Please Stop! don t go at Monro Auto Service & Tire Centers at Hooksett, NH.

I started using these guys in Jan,2021, for vehicle inspection. While I waited I had a chance to speak with Keith, the Mgr. Mostly about the services his location offers and the a little of his business philosophy. I liked what I heard so I used him again for an oil change, I usually do this myself but had no time, and the technicians found transfer case damage. Keith was not there that day so I returned another day to discuss the problem. I think Keith is extremely fair and realizes the importance of a lasting relationship with the customer. They recently did the repair and I will return for more work to be done. He does not have a "get all the money now" attitude that some shops have. I appreciate his honesty as well as the knowledge and service everyone in the shop has. This is a solid shop, I hope others will give them a chance. Thanks Guys!

I scheduled a state inspection online for Sunday 9/4 and received an automated confirmation email. I get to the appointment and am told that the state inspection system is down and they can t do the inspection.I then reschedule another appointment for Sunday 9/11 and receive another confirmation email. When I get to the appointment the same gentlemen then tells me that he does not have anyone working on Sundays to do the inspection. The gentleman also told me that they are unable to see what the appointments are even scheduled for, so they are unable to call and follow up with customers.I m not really sure what the point of having an appointment scheduling system is if customers can make an appointment for something that can t be done or called/emailed to follow up on afterwards that it can t be done on that date.Either way, this entire experience has made me lose trust in Monro and most likely won t be back.

4/20/19very professional good people and honest I have a 2018 challenger TAand they chipped my paint right at the doors edge down to the primerthey did the right thing and fixed what they did and it looks great againThank you MonroI will have my vehicles serviced by them

Great service from this location.� We were driving�up through NH from MA to start our vacation and felt some shaking.� Got here shortly before they were closing, and the team took a look.� They did a realignment�and also identified some poor work done by a different shop I had used earlier in the week.� The team at Hooksett fixed us up and got us on our way.. vacation saved.� Thanks!This is for the Munro at�1323 Hooksett Rd, Hooksett, NH

Not your typical chain store, went in with a predetermined expectation, by the time I left I was more than impressed. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Brought my vehicle to a different repair shop multiple times and never fixed my concern, then brought it to Monro, they saved me money and it was finished early on top of finally fixing my engine light the other shop couldn t. Highly recommend this place to anyone I will return for future work.. very honest people.
