Took my car in for an inspection and Matt Currier took me right in on time. He was thorough and efficient pointing out and suggesting a few things that I should do such as undercoating my vehicle to reduce any chance of rust occurring. Squam Lakes Automotive is one of the best being a family operated business for many years. Many thanks to the Currier family!

I can t believe I see positive reviews here. Who posted them? Fake people? Worst experience ever. Zero communication. They literally would never call me back. They told me to drop my car off right away as they had time now. Called several times, never received a call back. After 9 days, I finally spoke to the owner, he said it was all fixed and ready to go. When I showed up the next day the car was on the lift. They took in down in about 30 minutes. Said it was good to go. They never called me to tell me what was wrong or what it needed. The check engine light came back on within 20 miles and then it had an oil leak. They fixed nothing and charged me over $500.Very untrustworthy. Caution Caution Caution!!!!

Very professional and polite. We're able to help me with my vehicle quickly and contacted throughout the process and spoken to like a human being! Extremely professional mechanics specialized in European vehicles. Honest and polite and I have found my new go to garage!!

These guys are honest. I took my BMW Z3 in for service and had a vibration in the front suspension. I could have been ball joints or tie rod ends....they ordered both...and then let me know it was just one of the tie rod ends which they repaired. They could have told me the ball joints were bad and I wouldn't have known. Kudos for honesty! They are honest and that says it all to me.

I had a BMW series 5 go in for wheel speed sensors and they had it in for 4 days and i got it back their was a whole pile of tobacco in the seats and i had subs they touched my subs and they are blown now and my short shifter was broken and i cant shift my vehicle at all im very. Upset and I really want my refund back i would really want to talk to who did this and its not okay

My X5 wouldn't start, stranding me two hours from home. Pat and the guys at SLA fit me in that day, diagnosed and fixed the problem (corroded grounding cable, rather than "the starter" as another shop had guessed), and had me on the road in three hours. Super grateful to them for fitting me in and getting me back home. Not cheap, but honest and efficient and you can't have everything :)

Took my 740 1992 Volvo Wagon to have the engine looked at, in the morning. Dealt directly with Randy Currier when arriving; had actually called ahead the day before. He said to "drop it off" for the day, and so spent the next few hours at local Country Store down the road.When back at lunch to see what progress had been made: he hadn't even looked at it, and said he and everyone needed to break for lunch Okay- but not really. Stayed on all aftermarooned there_ he took on a "regular customer" with a SAAB problem- and never got to my car, saying around 3:30 pm to "leave it overnight", he'd look at it "first in the morning". Yeah. Right!?! Probably saw my Massachusetts license plate, and decided I could "afford to wait".Avoid this establishment for anything!! Really bad experience.
