I had an appointment to have 2 new tires put on today at 5 pm. I arrived at 4:45 pm only for the tire center to be closed. Called into the store and spoke with 3 different employees (one was a manager) and was told the tire center closes at 5 and that I should have been contacted to reschedule the appointment. They also gave the excuse that they had 3 callouts today which is why they closed early. Not my problem. I worked a 10 hour day and then drove 45 minutes to this appointment. The thing is, if someone had just checked the appointments and called me earlier in the day I would not have been upset or cared and would have been fine with rescheduling. I am a full time MBA student and work 50 hours a week on top of it. My time is limited and valuable and it was insane how little this manager cares about customers. They told me to come back tomorrow/call tomorrow and no resolution was offered. I want my time and gas compensated. I have already left a review with the BBB and after I post this review I will continue on to review this Walmart everywhere possible. I will not be returning to this Walmart (or any Walmart most likely) in the future. Will gladly take my business elsewhere.

Made an appointment and while waiting in line to check the customer in front of me did not have an appointment and asked for tires to be installed. Their vehicle had tires installed and they were out the door before mine was even taken it to the shop. Waited over 2 hour, with an appointment for 4 pre-ordered tires to be installed. Go anywhere else.

The Auto Center at Walmart is definitely worth your time. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of Walmart and how they operate... But. I have had nothing but excellent service with them. They have vary good deals on tiers and can have them installed in a very reasonable amount of time. They also do other services like oil change and battery replacement. My mother is very fond of there oil change service and swears by them. You can also do some shopping while you are getting service.

Went here in August to purchase 2 new tires. Made an appointment. When I showed up, was told I had no appointment. After some pleading, they agreed but then refused to install the tires based on wrong misguided judgement that the proper spec tires would not fit properly, even though the same tire was currently on the car. After the entire unexperienced staff including the manager and several sketchy looking employees spent 20 minutes standing around looking at my car, they begrudgingly and with bad attitude agreed to do the job. They then moved the car into the garage. 5 minutes later they came out and said, "sorry, we couldn't jack the car up to install the tires. This place currently employs amateurs who probably had previously been gathering carts in the parking lot. Best to avoid going here.

I had a small snafu there but they more than made up for it. I called ahead to make sure they had time to swap out my summer tires. The clerk said yes. I told him I have a broken leg and I really cant be there long. Long story short, they did an oil change instead of swapping my tires. After 2.5 hours of sitting there, they gave me a gift card for like $55, didnt charge me for the oil change and cut the price for my tires in half. They were all very apologetic and made sure I was okay during the time I had to wait. I do recommend them. Just be mindful of who is working. I'm sure this was an honest mixup. But in the future I'll be sure to ask for Camden or one of the guys who has been there longer.

I can not say anything bad, matter of fact I have never spent under 500 dollars for 4 tires mounted, balanced, and disposal of the old tire's!! Granted they were only rated for 45,000 Miles but who cares when you don't have money to begin with it's a great day

Staff was friendly and helpful HOWEVER we were never called or paged when our car was ready. The mechanic asked what we were waiting for and when we told him our car he replied it was done about "twenty minutes ago." We had perishable goods. If it wasn't for him who knows how long we would have been sitting there for.

This is for the Hinsdale,N.H. Tire Dept. only. They screwed me out of $40.00. I had four tires put on my Honda Fit. The bill was over $100.00. They charged me $10.00 each x 4 tires= $40.00, because I brought my snows in and I didn't buy them there. This was never told to me. I have been doing snow tire changeovers for years and years. They had several times to inform me that they had a penalty fee of ten bucks each tire, by phone when I called and when I had them done the next day, 11-4-20.You don't screw a Senior Citizen out of $40.00 and get away with it. It is a big deal. Tell the customer of the fee prior. Post it on the wall and let the customer decide if a tire changeover is worth $100.00 for a tiny car like a Fit.

got a flat on the way to a family emergency. They were the only ones able to accomodate us and understood that we did not have hours to wait. I believe his name was Gary was great in how he handled my stressed family...made them laugh, serviced the car very fast, and gave the day a positive spin. It was very appreciated!

I have really been pleased with the service at Walmarts Auto Center. My go to for oil changes and tires. Recommended my daughter and others ho there for tires at reasonable price and life time warranty that also covered me getting tires rebalanced.

3 people have gone there in my family including me and we have all had problems!! My uncle brought it in for a oil change and they ripped off his muffler. My aunt had a similar issue and with me I was as going to get tires put on. Came back 30 min. Later and I couldn't get into my car because they broke the handle of my door. And now they wont pay for it neither! Sorry but u guys seem clueless!!! Would not recommend at all!!!!

Always have a long wait from 3-4 hours each time, some of the staff are awesome and others are not. I haven't had good service from them yet. Told me they couldn't change my oil once because something was too tight, I took it else where and they had no problem.

Got new tires. The valve stem had holes so I had a flat in two days. Just got that "fixed" for free which was nice I thought but I look out my window and in one night I have a flat tire again on the same tire. Will never go here again.

Got there 30 MINUTES after it opened and was told for a simple oil change would be 3 hour wait. Later same day friend went for oil change plus antifreeze too. THEY FORGOT TO PUT ANTIFREEZE IN. Never go there for any auto needs

Do not go here if you value your time and sanity. Not enough techs. Came on a Monday morning at 8am, only customer there, needed oil change and tire rotation...quoted time 1.5 hours actual time 2.25 hours and no tire rotation. Hire more techs and I'll go back until then its somewhere else.

You should really take appointments. And all I wanted was an oil change @ 515. I was turned away because 2 cars were in front of me. Literally the staff may have had to work 15 mins past close. Just really frustrated.

I had a new tire put on my van on July 15th. On the 22nd, my new tire blew out on the highway with a 5 inch crack up the outside of the tire. I took it back to walmart...one tire employee said it should qualify for replacement, but the tire boss said I must have hit a curb. Anyone who has ever blown a tire on a curb, would know there's no way that was what happened. I was on the 122 in petersham. No curbs for miles. I wish I could insert the picture here. I'm assuming they're selling very old tires.

They screwed up my headlights and won't reallign because "we only replace the bulb, nothing we do would interfere with allignment" though they were alligned when I took it there and then my lights are off after I leave.I can't drive at night without my high beams or I can't see anything at all!!!

Delighted to learn of Walmart's deal with Marc Lore. Exactly the medicine needed to shift a pathetic web presence from liability to winning tactic. Given that smart move, now it's time to make a parallel investment. Walmart must make concerted efforts to identify exceptional talents in their workforce and parley their skills in a way that demonstrates to all employees the rewards of working smart. I discovered one of those talents in the Hinsdale, NH tire and lube department today. There's a guy named Gary Cohen whose skills in dealing with a surly old man (me) are extraordinary. He did it by keeping his cool in the presence of associates and customers and taking personal responsibility and action a step at a time while paying attention to both the customer and the interests of the store.I believe I contributed to the firing of one Walmart floor manger with a letter I wrote and Walmart's website transgressions deserve a few lawsuits. But this guy Gary Cohen convinces me that the company has excellent material. Pay attention to him and learn from him. Walmart will need Gary's thinking-in-motion skills a thousand times over once Mr. Lore gets rolling.

This is probably the only good thing at this Walmart. Unfortunately it's understaffed (typical of Walmart) so wait times are forever and services are limited. The staff they do have is pretty good and the prices are low.

When I went in to schedule an oil change and was told there would be a 5-6 hour wait and they wouldn't hold my spot if I wasn't there when they called my ticket.
