Set in an 1800s building, this unfussy inn has rooms with fridges, plus a sundeck & a picnic area. Overlooking the beach, this relaxed 3-story inn occupies a building that dates to the 1800s. It's 2.3 miles from the Tuck Museum Complex and 2.9 miles from the Hampton Beach Casino. Modest, homey rooms have minifridges; some have decks with seating areas and/or kitchens or kitchenettes. Outside, there's a swimming pool, a sundeck that overlooks the ocean and a picnic area with gas grills.

We stayed in 2bdr apt unit and it was perfect highly recommended as the staff, location, environment were exactly what we were looking for. They also allow dogs and were so sweet giving him treats and even made some scones for my family of 5. Id take off a star because the beds were really firm. Bouncy but firm but we'd stay again because who really sleeps on a vacation

Anne and Rick,Thank you so much for your warming and pleasant hospitality, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. What a great location for dining and sea adventures, a grill offered to cook our dinners, nice pool, a clean and welcoming room to sleep and we enjoyed the conversation as well. Anne, you were so thoughtful with the homemade scones, thank you again. Our fur baby, Theo was welcomed and loved by you, Rick and every passerby at the Windjammer. Awesome place to stay and we will be back for sure!

Rick and Ann are the most gracious hosts. They truly care about their guests and it's plain to see in the upkeep and feel of their motel. They never stop working and they check in with their guests to ensure they're enjoying their stay. Rick told me he sleeps in the winter. The accommodations are quaint and clean. It felt like I was walking into a room at my grandmother's house. And don't get me started on the deck!! What a view! I got to spend some alone time out there, sipping wine, watching the ocean. It was a perfect ending to my 40th birthday! Before we left, we were already making plans for our next stay. The Price can't be beat either - and it's right ACROSS the street from the beach. Unbeatable location on North Beach in Hampton. Oh, and Ann's biscuits can't be missed.

After a last minute decision to get away for the last weekend of the summer before the holiday. My other half found this place had a room open. So we got there late Friday night. The owners mother created us and checked us in. Super friendly, and gave us wam scones. The room was small. But for the price, and non existent room availability on the shore it did just fine. After all we just sleep and shower there and go out for the day. I do know they have bigger rooms with kitchenettes available. Nice yard to hang out in a couple of grills. I was really happy with this choice and would stay again! Again, super friendly and quiet! The beach is just across the the street! And the boardwalk a short drive, or nice walk away!

Nice little motel by the ocean for a good price! It has a nice pool, it's a little small but TONS of beach chairs and very refreshing to take a quick dip then lounge by the pool. It's a little outdated inside the rooms, toilets are weirdly low and the sink/oven unit is outdated (but still works!) and the floor definitely isn't level, but they've done an excellent job keeping it tidy and very clean! They are very welcoming and make the beds everyday, and rumors of scones tomorrow? Either way, DEFINITELY recommend this place

Best place we have ever stayed in the Hampton area. After not vacationing in Hampton for 2 years we were happy to be back. Rick always greets us and helps bring our luggage up to our favorite room (25). Anne is always running around working but takes the time to chat and offer any assistance. Sometimes she even bakes up some fresh scones to bring us in the morning. They treat you like family and make sure you're enjoying your time. We will be back next time we are in the Hampton area.

Very nice place, family owned and operated. It's quaint and not overpriced at all.Right on the waterfront, just north of the busy part of Hampton beach, but a quick ride down if you want to visit it, or you can go to the beach across the street.Nice pool and, backyard with a firepit.I was on the 3rd floor and had a great balcony. Definitely would recommend!

Best place to stay at Hampton beach run by the most fabulous family you will ever meet. Super clean and lovely rooms that come in various sizes for what ever your needs are. Sometimes I am here solo and other times with family. Great views and a quiet location.

We've been going there for many years. The staff (especially the owner's mom) is awesome and so welcoming. The rooms are very clean and the ocean views are stunning. We look forward to going back every year and we wouldn't stay any where else!

Always a great stay. Rooms are cozy and comfortable, and most have ocean views. Panoramic views of the Atlantic from 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. Motel is located on the North Beach side so you have access to all area attractions without the noise, traffic and crowds that are associated with the Main beach section. I would give the Windjammer 10 stars if I could. I have been coming here for at least the last thirty years and the motel has never lost it's charm.

Great location with absolutely gorgeous sunrises. The owners meet and greet you. They are genuinely concerned about making your stay memorable. The 200 year old building is impeccably maintained and clean. I would highly recommend staying here.

We ll did not even to get a chance to stay we came into town Wednesday 9/22 my husband and I were extremely tired we stopped at windjammer and Rick the owner came out was very nice told us they had annn by ocean front room on 3ed floor , we chose to take a look at it was ok Old steps very narrow a bit wobbly. We made it up the room was ok the view was stunning. But we we re very honest and grateful to Rick for showing us the room but we were HONEST and told him we had to go see one more place (respect for another person & place we told him we would be back if we did not come back I would call the next day as we left I was closing my door a this VERY VERY lovey lady stopped me and said no room for you and ur husband I explained the room o 3 ed floor was a bit hard since we had 2 total knee replacement so climbing steps was not great she agree. She introduced us as Rick Mom she was absolutely lovely even gave us some hot scones, and told us to come back tomorrow Rick will find you a Room ,she was absolutely a wonderful kind lady. She was so kind and we were so grateful we dropped off a bouquet of flowers for her kindness and gratitude. We went to the beach on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. I called Rick as he told us to do . His response to me EXACTLY was if u come back Friday morning at 11:30 I will have a room on the first floor or second ocean front we were excited. Friday We were at his hotel at 11:30 as he said he made us wait for 30 minutes for him to come to the office when he got there he was RUDE,Dismissive,Disrespectful and to be honest a liar. after we gave up a room we had paid for which was oceanfront this guy did NOT care . All he wanted to do was get ride of this by this time we had been there waiting for a room for 45 minutes all I have is 3ed floor no view on side . He was disrespectful, unkind A liar and I-am sure if his Mom knew of this I v would hope she would tell him his behavior was rude unkind and he. LIED to me saying come back on Friday I will have a great room first or second floor oceanfront I believed him. I do not nor would I ever do business with people that are dishonest I feel they need to be taken off every site TripAdvisor, verbo, ect ect . Who knows what else Rick lies about all he seems to care about it chasing the MONEY he did I not care of bit about my husband and I, I feel sorry for his kind Mom. He deserves what he get.! ITS NOT Ok to treat people as we were treated Karma Karma Rick.

My whole family, kids and animals all go. I'm pretty sure the animals aren't allowed inside. My dog fortunately loves just staying out back. It has a BIG yard with nice grass. Very family oriented place. Or even to take your wife or girlfriend away there, very romantic. The owners are absolutely very nice and welcoming. A must for anyone. Especially if you're sick of Hamptons crowds and madness.

Fantastic! Anne, Richard, and Rick are wonderful hosts. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, and the view of the ocean from the front porch is a great place for coffee in the mornings. I highly recommend it!

We came into town late Saturday night for a show at the ballroom, we knew it wouldn't be the best idea to not get reservations ahead of time but well we like to just wing it sometimes. After driving around for an hour looking for an affordable available room for 3 people, 1 night. We found 1 place that would take us but it was $359..... geeeewizzz! At that point I was thinking if we played our cards right maybe we could get a free stay at the Hampton PD.I started calling hotels off the strip.... Still $250+. Placed a call to the Windjammer, Rich answered and assured us that he could provide us with a place to stay and even better it was within the budget. Rich met us in the office and got us in our room quickly. Rich helped us carry our stuff to the third floor, showed us around and told us to make ourselves at home. Our only concern was how were we going to get to and from the show?? No worries....Rich had us covered, he told us to just call the front desk and he would see that we got there and back safely.Pools open all night..... 2am after a Rock Concert?? Hell yes!!We have nothing bad to say about Rich and his wonderful establishment. We will be back and we will be telling our friends and family who enjoy stays at the beach all about Windjammers wonderful service. Thanks Rich!

This was our 4th visit here and we simply love it! It is quiet and super clean. I need a good wifi connection to stay in touch with work and had no real issues. This is far enough removed that the craziness of Hampton Beach is not an issue, but not so far removed as unable to walk. We don't however go much further than North Beach itself. For a mid summer stay our prices were more than reasonable for a room with kitchenette.

Great place to stay! Unbelievably clean rooms. They take great care of their guests and offer very comfortable accommodations. Beach is across the street and the front rooms have views of the ocean. You can walk next door to the surf shop or restaurant.

Wonderful views right across the street from the beach. Comfortable clean rooms in a 200+ year old home. The best part is the owners, who are wonderful people. Anna is a treat. Will definitely be back.

We found ourselves stranded with car trouble and Rick was very accommodating. Very clean rooms with lots of history! Anne was very sweet and we had a fantastic time in spite of the circumstances.

Unfortunately this hotel advertised that it was pet friendly. This is not a true statement. I just phoned this hotel and my veteran son was denied a room because his service dog was larger than 20 lbs. The woman first said they were pet friendly and offered him a room. When she found out the dog weighted 70 lbs she then told me that "ol sorry we are all booked up those nights, but we do not take any dogs over 20 lbs even if they are a veterans support animal. Thanks for calling and have a good evening.Very Disappointed U.S. Citizen - all propaganda regarding veterans, not the first time my family has experienced this type of behavior from businessmen. If you are a veteran you should seek other accommodations and not support this type of business.
