Almost got me. Luckily at this point in my life I'm smart enough to get up underneath the cars and really look things over. Not even sure I got the gentleman's name at the dealership but he was very nice while I was there. He let me look at any car I wanted to. I was particularly interested in an older Saturn Ion for sale because I had them back in the day with very good luck. And I thought I could make a good deal because this particular car was on his lot for almost a year. I started the car up I pop the hood it ran great it looked great but then I got underneath it. You could see the frame and underbody was completely rotted out I was actually leaving piles of rust underneath the car as I was touching things. Then I went to look at a Ford focus and from the front to the back on both sides you can see the body work and filler that was used. Then I looked at three more vehicles and I was pulling pieces of the frame off with my bare hands. I could not believe the condition of the underside of these vehicles. As much as I wanted I used car I decided to walk away. I ended up buying my trade in back from the Toyota dealer in Nashua from my wife's new car purchase earlier that week. I cannot leave a one-star review in good faith because I did not buy a car here and experience problems.... However I was told if it failed inspection due to the frame I would have been out of luck. And I guarantee you these cars would have failed inspection for the frame.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS PLACE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!I purchased a Mazda 5 from them to have a used but reliable vehicle. Came with a warranty, yada yada, seemed like the place was legit and the car would last at LEAST for a little bit and they could backup their claims as used car sellers.NO. NO NO NO NO NO. At first, I went to finance the vehicle and the bank brought up that it had extensive body damage obviously the car that I had looked at was normal in appearance. I asked Joe about it, he told me that he had no idea what I was talking about and that it had never had a salvage title. I get it now, that s a technicality that he kept saying so that I would continue with the sale (because he is a CROOK). So, I end up pulling some strings and am able to purchase the car in cash I live in MA and purchased from him in NH (which is important later in this review).Ended up buying the car because I thought it was safe, purchased off a lot that had a lot to say about their own wonderfulness. Car IMMEDIATELY failed inspection, with them citing the right front ball joint being bad (which they told me was severely dangerous), no plate lights, headlight out, exhaust leak, and a few other things.I think, damn, okay maybe it sat on the lot for a while and they didn t realize what was going on with the car? WRONG.Joe BOLD FACED LIED to me about the car having significant body damage, and he glossed over how that had affected the rest of the car.I am writing this THREE WEEKS after purchasing a car from this establishment.The headlights were out.THE DOOR FELL OFF (Boeing style)Failed inspection, and when I took it to NUMEROUS shops, the consensus was RETURN THIS CAR .Exhaust leak, bad front ball joint, sway bar links, exhaust system needed an entire rehaul and parts were welded in ways that were not okay.Compressor belt, yada yada the list goes on and on.I called Joe, and his response was to tell me that he didn t care about online reviews and that NH doesn t have lemon laws and that I m an idiot for driving it off the lot if it was in such bad shape. MIND YOU I only drove it about 1k miles and it was 3 weeks.They DO NOT IN ANY WAY be true to their warranty , and then Joe cursed at me and telling me what a fucking idiot i am for driving off the lot with such a damaged car. As if he didn t LIE to me in order for me to purchase it, and then told me I m an idiot because his state doesn t have the same Lemon Laws as mine?? I tried to return my vehicle after having to pay $300 for having it towed when it wouldn t start, and after also paying $500 in taxes I didn t mention any of that to Joe, I simply asked to return the car and get a refund and he cursed at me and told me what an idiot I am. These are BAD PEOPLE. Joe is an ATROCIOUS HUMAN BEING and called me the B word as well as a f*king idiot for driving a car off his lot.So, don t be a f**king idiot and buy a car from these frauds. Joe is a crook and a nasty human and won t do the right thing. I just wanted a reliable car for myself and my kid. Instead I get a car where the door falls off, it won t run or start, and then verbally abused by the owner of the dealership. DO NOT GIVE THESE SHITTY PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS

I had a few issues with the vehicle I purchased but Joe was very instrumental in getting those issues addressed to my satisfaction. If you buy from him and have any problems, please do bring them to his attention and I m confident he will do what he can, to make things right.

RIP OFF. NEVER BUY FROM HERE. THEY DON'T DO 20 DAY PLATES OR INSPECTIONS. THEN WHEN IT FAILS FOR A MAJOR PROBLEM THEY BASICALLY WON'T HELP YOU...... 4 STATE INSPECTION CERTIFIED TECHS ALL CONSULTED AND AGEED IT FAILS AND YOUR PLACE CAN'T EVEN DO INSPECTIONS SO I ASK YOU AS A HUMAN... WHO WOULD YOU BELEIVE??? THEY DON'T WANT TO WORK ON THE CAR EITHER. THEY DID THE INSPECTION CAUSE I WORK THERE. I AM STUCK PAYING A THIRD PARTY FOR ALL THE WORK NEEDED SO DON'T BLAME THEM. I WOULDN'T PUT MY INSPECTION LICENSE ON THE LINE EITHER.

BUYER BEWARE- Vehicles ARE NOT NH STATE INSPECTED and DO NOT HAVE A TEMP PLATE. You will have to sign an UNSAFE VEHICLE document. All the vehicles are sold "AS IS", with no guarantee to pass state inspection. Of course, none of this was mentioned before our deposit was placed. I wouldn't have placed a deposit had I known this information.We called the owner to let him not we were not comfortable with the terms of the sale and requested a refund. After hanging up, he called back and agreed to refund. We did appreciate the refund.The cars appeared in good shape and they had quite a few in our price range. We were attempting purchase a car for our child.Be very careful and ask a lot of questions before placing a deposit or purchasing a car here.

This dealer is absolutely disgusting. I had purchased a vehicle from him, went to get it inspected and it FAILED miserably. Completely rotted all underneath, exhaust leak, needs 3 new tires, needs breaks, needs suspension, 2 rear light bulbs out, rotted rocker panels, the list goes on. I went to inspect it THE SAME DAY .. and the garage said that the car should have not been sold.It was important I had a reliable vehicle for my children and he SWORE it was safe, instead he put me and my children at risk by selling an unsafe vehicle knowingly. This dealer is a con-artist and will get someone hurt if he is not held reliable for his unsafe vehicles.It's been reported, Joe you should be ashamed of yourself. Times are tough and your taking advantage of those who really are having a tough time financially.RESPONSE *** Your mechanic had told us NOT to show up because you had told him we were paying HALF for the fixing after you told us you were paying for ALL of the repairs, so don't give some bull excuse. You shouldn't have even sold it as dangerous as it is. We didn't proceed to call you after because you were nothing but a headache with excuses to try to con my father into paying half, so we took another route, after filing our reports.. we already had someone from the state come look at the car and THEY will be handling it for us, along with our lawyer. So please, save your breath.

They sell sell cars that are not roadworthy even though they will assure you they will pass inspection. Do not sign the waiver acknowledging that the vehicle won't pass inspection. Good old bait and switch. They have done this to numerous people. Do not make the mistake of buying a vehicle from them. Just read the reviews on better buisness bureau or simply Google search route 111 auto lawsuit if you don't believe me.

I purchased a cargo van here and it has been great!!! This dealership gives a warranty with every vehicle and the van was already serviced and needed nothing ;-) This is the best deal I have ever had .

Warning I purchased a 2010 Dodge charger from this place and was sold to me with bad engine owner did not wanna be responsible for it when vehicledid not passed inspection... sending me to fallow up with the warranty he sold me with vehicle after the warranty took the car in for 15 days they say the vehicle already have a bad engine and they will not fixed my vehicle now I will have to go through a battle to get my money back! Who wants to keep a car with bad engine after I pay 6k and only drive it for 2 days the most...very disappointing of this place! Warning don't give business to a very unfair guy who knows he sold me a vehicle with a bad engine I work really hard and I save my money for years to purchase this vehicle because I really need it! he sells a warranty with the vehicle and the company sends and independent inspector to verify the damage and they claim that the damage been there prior to the purchase therefore they not gonna cover... this is a scam by the dealership and the warranty company... I'm gonna have them investigated for this scam I'm getting my money back one way or another they need to br shut down for the scam they are running. I'm a single mother with 3 children who needed a vehicle to work and make ends meet and this dealership sold knowingly sold me a broken down car. Please don't trust the words out of this man's lying stinking mouth

I bought a car for my son from this car dealership. He has a wonderful way of being kind to his customers. Just completeness in preparation of vehicle, a full gas tank, beautiful floor mats complimentary with purchase. The cars are so neat and clean, and the price is great on every vehicle he showed me. It was hard to choose between so many nice vehicles. Go see Joe, he'll get you in a ride for Less I think then other car dealerships in New Hampshire

Don't buy a vehicle here! My son bought his first vehicle here, they gave him a 1 year 15000 miles warranty. Asked if it didn't pass inspection will they fix it and they said that the warranty will cover it, but that was wrong! Don't buy if they have you sign a paper that says will not pass inspection in NH , or that you take all responsibility for the repairs as is! Didn't see this paper in till we got home with the vehicle. My son has put what he paid for the vehicle in too it just to pass inspection and the vehicle still needs work too at least MA road Worthy.

By far the worst consumer purchase I have ever made. I purchased a vehicle this April from Joe who was super pleasant when he sold us the car and even more pleasant when we paid him for it. I was aware that the vehicle was sold as is, without inspection, I however chose to trust Joe when he said that getting the car inspected should not be a problem because his mechanic goes through the vehicles and fixes whatever is wrong. Based on those statements we purchased the car. When we brought the car to our mechanic, they informed us for the vehicle to pass NH inspection, the car would need $2300 in repairs. Our budget was $5000 not $7300. I reached out to Joe to try to resolve this amicably and in a way that my family could afford. I asked him if we could return the vehicle and he stated that was not an option. He also told us that our mechanic was over charging us, that they did not have our best interest at heart and that we should run from that shop. We have a 20-year personal and professional relationship with our mechanic, and in fact they advised us to return the vehicle rather than pay them to fix it. Joe did offer to pay for half of the repairs, which seems reasonable, however, he would only do so if we took it to his mechanic. My husband and I both explained to Joe that this was a HUGE inconvenience for us because Joe s mechanic was not close to our house and also his mechanic would not be able to fix the car for 3 weeks. Joe was only willing to help but only if his mechanic did the work. With no other choice we brought the car to Joe s mechanic with a promise that the car would be repaired and inspected with an inspection sticker in one week. For 3 weeks Joe s mechanic strung us along with excuses of why the car was not ready, they were extremely busy, waiting on parts, car was getting the alignment, etc. The day before we were finally able to pick up the car, I called Joe s mechanic to pin down a time. Once again he told us the car wasn t ready. I pressed him for a definitive time to pick up the car and he became agitated as I was not going to end the call until I had confirmed a time to pick up the car, which was finally agreed would be the next day at 12:00 pm. The next day I called Joe s mechanic to let him know we were on our way, to which he replied, I m not fixing your car, I don t like the way you spoke to me yesterday . At this point we had been 3 weeks without the car with no end in sight. With no other choice, we made our way to Joe s mechanic to pick up the car. Upon arrival, Joe s mechanic stated he had not made one single repair to the vehicle. We were lied to and strung along for multiple weeks. I have later come to find out this mechanic is not even a licensed inspection station. I believe there was never any intent that he would repair my vehicle. Joe will tell you that this mechanic doesn t work for him and is an independent contractor, yet he will INSIST you have the vehicle repaired by him or Joe will refuse to help . Based on my experience with Joe s mechanic I can certainly see what Joe has in common with him and why they are aligned with each other. I can see in other reviews here that I am not the first person to have experienced Joe s empty offer to help. We brought the car to our mechanic who fixed the car within 3 business days. Total repairs $2307 to which our mechanic is graciously allowing us to pay off over time. Long story short, Joes sells unsafe vehicles, he represents otherwise and has unfair and deceptive business practices. Once these things come to light, Joe offers his help and then proceeds to make it incredibly inconvenient and frustrating for the consumer to accept his help until you give up leaving you right back where you started with an unsafe vehicle in need of costly repairs. I do not write this review out of spite, I 100% do not want anyone else to go through what I have been through. Please do not buy a vehicle here unless you have it inspected BEFORE you purchase. Lesson learned.

Just bought a 2005 Jeep Liberty last week. Picked it up Friday and when it got to Maine we had problems. Transmission is bad and has transmission fluid leak. All the tires were dry rotted. And the power steering just went. I haven't even had it for a couple of the days and I am already having problems. The check engine light is on and there are five codes. Very upset and this business seems shady. The tires are the most upsetting part. I am lucky they didn't blow out. Apparently the dealership sells junk. If things improve and the warranty is honored I may change my review. With the problems occuring within a day off the lot is concerning and now reading the reviews I am more concerned. I hope the dealership pays more attention to the condition of the cars they are selling and pay more attention to the tires on them. I hope they improve their business.

12/3/2020Please do not buy a car here unless you have it looked at by a professional you contract. Do not trust what you are verbally told about these vehicles.The warranty sounds great but will not cover most large expensive repairs such as a cracked frame. These cars are over priced for the risk you will take.Also you will need to register it before you drive it off the lot and good luck with the inspection. Buyer beware , in this case you do not get what you pay for and NH State laws will not protect you. Know your rights as a buyer read pages 43-45 of the NH Consumer Source book before you buy a used vehicle especially if doing business with this dealer. In his response Joe says he offered to pay half of the 2,200.00 repairs which he did, but I just got a call from him saying he will not because of this review. Now when I can afford the repairs, I will have 8200.00 into a car I should not have bought. Coincidentally I got a 1 star review on my business site shortly after his angry call. The review is from an individual who gave Joe a 5 star review 1 month ago, this person has a total of 2 reviews at present on google, Joes and mine! Please read the review Joe responded to 3 years ago written by THEBEST .

I bought a truck with a clean inspection sticker and was assured it was just inspected and ready to pass both NH and MA inspection requirements. The breaks gave out on me on the highway before I could even get it home and $5k later in repairs the truck is still having problems. Avoid these people at all costs. They will flat out lie to you.

I bought a car from here a couple months ago, people were nice took care of me but my car is already broken. Transmission issue. I have a warranty but that doesn t help me not having a car for now 2 weeks not to mention how ever long it takes to fix it. I was told by my mechanic they probably just put new fluid it and left it for me to deal with. Not happy at all I wanted a car that wouldn t leave me on the side of the road. Won t be coming back.

I would highly recommend not buying a car here. Sold me a car for 7000 dollars, I very clearly asked if there was anything wrong with it. He said "nothing that I'm aware of." Which was clearly not true. I have had this car for a little over a month and every two weeks it needs something necessary done to it that costs 600+ dollars. None of it covered by the warranty. 7000 dollar car turned into a 9500+ (and next week I'm sure something else will be wrong) project. Did not want to buy a "fixer upper" car. Several mechanics have told me I'm probably better off just bringing it back and trying to return the car.

I recently purchased my first truck from Rt. 111 autosales.I brought it back home and took it to my mechanic and he noticeda couple issues that would have prevented it from passing inspection.I expressed my concerns to Joe (at Route 111 autosales) and heimmediately reassured me that they would take care of everything.They stepped up to the plate and did what was necessary to get thetruck to pass. Joe and the team at Route 111 auto sales showed a lotof integrity.As a small businessman myself, I value integrity above all andwould recommend to anyone looking for an affordable used vehicleto check out this dealership. Bought a car here for my daughter and her disable vet husband and they have two kids. Joe swore it would pass Maine Inspection and it failed, not only that the transmission went not even logging in 500 miles. Of course they did not honor ant repairs and the extended warranty he sells you is a joke as well. I would never recommend him or his auto sales business to anyone.

I am totally dis-satisfied with the quality of vehicle that I purchased in July 2019. I bought a 2005 Durango with 120,259 miles on it. 750 miles later it is uninspectable due to rust, coolant leak, oil pan leak and exhaust issues. The rust was covered up when i purchased it with some sort of undercoating?? I called Rt 111 Auto to see if there was anything that they could do to help me out. No luck, Joe hung up on me after we had a disagreement on how much rust could accumulate in the 6 months that I had it. Oh yeah, there is also some sort of battery drain that no one can figure out too! I will say that the people were pleasant to deal with at the time of purchase and Joe was polite about hanging up on me although maybe a bit quick about it.

I purchased a vehicle from here last month. I didn't even get 50 miles and the engine light came on. It wont pass Massachusetts inspection. The codes read P2097 which was for the sensors and we replaced both of them and the light still came back on. Took it back to the mechanic and they found the exhaust was rotted and it needed a catalytic converter replacement. They found new "cheaters" that were put it causing it to give the false readings. The exhaust flange leak that they said had been fixed was never fixed. Unfortunately for me this vehicles exhaust system was only manufactured for 1 year so the price to repair it is almost $3000.00. So please take the vehicle you would like to purchase to your own mechanic and have them throughly inspect it if you choose to buy from them. Do not trust anyone.
