Gorham vip usually my visits are pleasant. They are always trying to upscale things. They have helped me with tire issues in the past. This time was state inspection failed for 7 week old windshield wipers they wanted 17 dollars a piece for when dealer wipers are half that I am still blown away that they failed inspection for windshield wipers that I can change in less than 2 minutes for less than half that.so needless to say will never return there again unless it's an absolute emergency. Shouldn't have to worry about things like that.

Snowmobile repair: my arctic cat z1 turbo had an over heating/thermostat issue. I am so glad VIP offers this service now as they were Great and trouble shot the problem. Paul and Dan were a big help and fixed the problem. Great guys to deal with it was like having your friend work on your sled and kept me posted on their findings. I will be back for sure for service and or problems. Love that they kept my sled in heated building and not outside like most.

OUF! Is the outcome of my car problem.WOW is the service and attention we got from VIP. This is due to Dan s VIP welcoming, taking charge and seeing the urgency of the situation. This includes special thanks to the VIP mechanic crew.RATING AAA with five starts to Dan and the crew.Being not from the area, having no appointment on Friday 4:50PM we could not have found BETTER garage around.- Imagine the worst, no car rental in town, having a carload of equipment, not being able to make it to our hotel reservation and having to wait until Monday for parts while being expected at work.This is our story: When we started the car, the alternator light and all other indicators where flashing. So, we left Sunday River. Our plan was to go ski Loon Mountain on Saturday. Knowing that alternator light is not so good news, we turned off heating, lights, radio to make it to a mechanic just on the battery reserve. We told ourselves, we lucky that the road is downhill from Sunday River to Gorham NH.Finally, here we are at VIP Gorham, NH.So, as we got in, Dan questioned us for the car situation. Without hesitation he got our car in for inspection. We sat in the waiting room. Clients were present. They all said this garage is the best around and this is not just in town.We felt in good hands! Not that we wish for, but IF our car was to break again, when we are within driving distance, I ll ask AAA to tow our car or drive to VIP in Gorham.Thank you to Dan and his crew.

I went to VIP to get an oil change for my car. The oil change was way overdue so I assumed there would be extra work as well. I also asked to have new wiper blades put on as mine had been chewed up by the ice in the recent deep freeze. I have not been to VIP since the store had moved. Now there is only the oil change tire change and rotation departments there. Nick help me out at the front desk. Luke worked on my car. They brought me back to see the underneath of my car while she was up on the lift. That was a good experience for me to see why it's a good idea to wash your car several times in the winter time! I left there and went straight to the car wash. I felt well taken care of it VIP. They have a nice waiting room and a clean restroom. The staff is very friendly and don't try to take advantage of people. They were able to get me in for a same-day appointment which made me happy. There's handicap access and parking lot was clean and there is handicap parking as well.

Nice place and helpful people. Got my snow tires on my new car. It is cool that you can watch the guys work through a big window into the garage. I saw them do some cool things.One suggestion is maybe to add in a vending machine that takes cards forthose who don't carry cash. Or even add a little snack basket in the coffee area with cracker and cookies.I was peckish while waiting and luckily found a belvita snack in my purse.Super cool place though. I really got a kick out of the Christmas tree made of different sized tires.

Was there 2 weeks ago to get a tire replaced and all tires rotated, the tech informed me that my left rear wheel bearing was in need of replacement. I couldn't do it that day, so I called this past Monday to schedule the replacement and a diagnostic of my front end. I spoke with Scot and he told me to have the vehicle there at 8am on Friday. Had to get up at 5:30am to make the drive (I live an hour+ north of the shop). I arrived at about 7:45am and spoke with Dan, who has been nothing but gracious and helpful to me every time I've been in, but he told me that the part was never ordered and he couldn't get it there before 2pm. I can not wait around all day for a part to arrive that should have been ordered days before. He did get me right in for the oil change I needed and the diagnostic of my front end, but I have to take another hour+ drive tomorrow to get the original work done that was scheduled for today. This is absolutely unacceptable for any business. I am paying twice the gas, plus twice the wear and tear on my vehicle because scot failed to order a part or even put my appointment into the system. If I do not hear from someone in customer service regarding this issue I will be contacting corporate offices directly. I have done a lot of business with VIP over the years and never have I had to deal with this level of inadequacy.EDIT: Dan is one very professional gentleman, when I got back to the shop to pick up my vehicle he walked me through everything and had already ordered the parts needed. He had even contacted my warranty company and got payment approval for the work that is needed. He took excellent care of me and made things right. Dan deserves all of the credit for keeping me as a loyal customer. This was the first time I have had any issues with service at this location, and was beyond thrilled with the way Dan handled everything. He even called me after I left to discuss my review and offered to do more to make it right. I am not one to complain about things, but when necessary I will. He did what was right and fair by me, and I look forward to continuing doing business with VIP. If someone in the corporate offices reads this, please be sure to pass on my appreciation!Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Oil change

Outstanding Customer Service from Dan, Justin and forgot the other name who was working on my truck. They went above and beyond to make sure I would be Rroad worthy for my trip. Very comfortable environment great workers all around

Ordered 5 new tires, waited weeks, called me to come in, I traveled the 40 minutes trip only to be told they don't have my tires and tried to sell me others. Not recommended.

I had a sidewall tear on a tire, and the guys at VIP replaced my tires at an awesome rate. They were focused on service, rather than cost, and i saved a boatload of money, without an appointment. I've been using this store, since i moved to Gorham, 15 years ago. They always have the best prices for decent tires.

Can't say enough good about the guys at the Gorham, NH location. I was vacationing in NH from GA when my check engine light came on. It was almost closing time on Saturday night but they checked to see what was wrong. The code reader reported cylinder 4 misfire. I was told to bring it back in the morning where they diagnosed and replaced the cylinder 4 coil pack in less than an hour. GREAT JOB, GUYS! If I lived there, I'd bring all my vehicles to you for service.Service: Electrical repair

The service was fast! I got a flat tire, and needed a tire change quickly, since my job is over a hundred miles away. I either stopped there on a slow day, or they were just that good, but I got two new tires within an hour of a drop-in. The waiting room chairs were fairly comfy, and I got free coffee. Everyone was friendly, and the service guys explained everything they did.Service: Tires

Called to see if a could get a bobcat tire inflated that I couldn t get to bead.They said bring it down and they would try. It fought them, but with a really cool specialty inflator tool, and a few sets of experienced hands, they got it.They treated me very well.

Fabulous service. I was passing through the area and had a nail in my tire. They had it in stock and fixed it the same day. Even though I had no appointment and came end of day. They really went the extra mile for me and I really appreciate it.

5/5 stars. Laura (front of the house) and the shop team at this VIP are top notch. Our car tires had been wearing quickly and unevenly, and these folks helped us identify and fix the problem efficiently and for a competitive price. Everyone was patient and helpful, and we felt very heard and taken care of as customers. Check them out if you need immediate auto service or scheduled maintenance.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement, Auto maintenance

Gorham VIP doesn t even deserve a star. Walked in and told them I wanted the most basic oil change and they chose to do one of the most expensive ones they had. They tried to say that s what my car called for blah blah. They also changed my air filter without me saying to change it I never said they could. And for almost 35 dollar s definitely not. They think they can up charge women cuz they think they don t know anything about cars, definitely will never come back VIP is a waste of time and money. They also told me my car takes 6Q of oil when it only holds 4.2, come on I m not dumb they always think they can pull a fast one. They couldn t even reset the oil change life meter had to do that myself I didn t even get a sticker telling me when my next oil change is, I can do the math when it s due but for 88 bucks they drained the oil and dumped some back in. What a joke this place is.

Went to get my oil change completed on my truck for an appointment I had set up previously. They were running behind no problem I can wait, when I was checking in Scott who was assisting me said it ll run $102. I said it s usually not that much. He proceeds to be rather snarky to me and says well it s a truck it s gonna take more! When I said it s usually not though He proceeds to roll his eyes, be rude openly to me. And after he walked away I waited a moment and looked on my VIP account and showed previous oil changes done on this same vehicle as I ve had it for 2 years now and went to Laura and showed her on my account I ve only paid $XX for my trucks oil changes and that I felt very uncomfortable and that Scott was being very rude to me and treating me like a dumb female as I had my infant son who mind you was calmly just sitting with me to get my trucks oil done and had several customers also waiting how quiet and sweet he was. And Laura was very helpful and pulled up my account as she s also helped me several times in the past with getting my oil change done, but I was so bothered by how rude he was to me and i proceeded to leave before my truck was serviced because I was so bothered by how rude I was treated especially when being overcharged for something.

We were are in vacation when we got notice that we are due for an oil change. Most stores were closed, except for VIP Tires. Laura was super nice and so was the rest of the team. They did a vey quick nice job while we sat comfortably in their waiting area.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

My wife has used VIP and found them very helpful. When my car wouldn't start two Sundays ago and I needed to get down to Connecticut, and getting anyone out to look at it or tow it got absurdly complicated (not AAA's finest hour (actually many hours)), I took my wife's car and on VIPs recommendation, went to OReillys and bought a cheap battery as a Hail Mary option. I stopped at VIP to make sure that I knew how to hook the battery up correctly. The gentleman who was there (I think the manager) told me, but then went and asked a repair tech, just to be safe. I also asked him about the annoying change oil light in my wife's car, and he went right out and reset it. Meanwhile the tech came out to reiterate the directions for hooking up the battery.None of this cost a dime.Hooked the battery up and the car immediately came to life. Drove down to Connecticut without incident.I strongly recommend VIP.

So I was originally quoted $375 for a no name brand tire then the attendant changed it to 325 I did it because i had no choice they tried to upcharge me for an alignment that i didn't need at all. once i got home and looked at my car. I'm glad I didn't get the alignment because my Spring was broken. They didn't check that which they said they did, and also one of my brakes was grinding because it was missing a piece that they also didn't look at, but they said they did very terrible place will never recommend. I'm very mad. I spent my money there.

I definitely brought them a tough vehicle to work on.... Because of the type of tire that was being mounted, it was very difficult 245 40r17 dot comp tire on a wide reverse mount rim. Thank you.

I went to the Gorham, NH store after not going there for a couple of years. I bought tires there about 4 years ago and am very satisfied with those and the warranty that came with them. I had a tie rod replaced there about 2.5 years ago and, although satisfied with the service, I feel I was overcharged then. This is why I haven't returned for awhile. I went there this past Thursday to have some routine maintenance done on my 2011 Nissan Rogue which was: 12 point inspection, tire rotation, alignment (if needed) and to have my wiper blades replaced. I had a 9 A.M. appointment which they took my vehicle right in on time and I was the only customer there. That's great. I am pleased with that. I was there about 15 minutes and was given a long and EXPENSIVE (almost $3K) list of things my vehicle would need to have repaired in order to pass my state inspection in August. I was given a detailed estimate and also was told which items were most important. I was there 3 hours and it cost me almost $600 for the inspection (not state), tire rotation, new wiper blades, new cabin and air filters and to have my rear (just rear) brakes replaced. My vehicle passed state inspection about a year ago. I haven't gone far with my vehicle aside from work. I had my front brakes replaced elsewhere last year which cost me about $250. My rear brakes cost me over $400 Thursday. I feel I was overcharged for the brakes. Overall, the staff was very friendly and I have no complaints about the service. I am glad I had the repairs done and items replaced that I did have done on Thursday, but am not happy with the price. I am beyond unhappy with the estimate of repairs needed to pass inspection. I know my vehicle is older, winter is hard on vehicles and Berlin roads are terrible, but I find it VERY difficult to believe my vehicle needs this much fixed for inspection and the price is outrageous, especially after already paying $600 which I feel I overpaid. I was also supposedly going to get a discount, which I did not get. So, hence my 3 star rating. The service was fine, but the price was NOT. I am seriously contemplating on a second opinion of the estimate and also about going elsewhere for any future repairs/service. At this time, I can only recommend going to V.I.P. for tires and nothing else.2/1/2022 I heard from the manager Arthur today and he was very helpful and will try to help me out. He also will be giving me an oil change. I believe a lot of my issues are due to miscommunication. 5 stars now, instead of 3.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Spoke with Dan, new manager at this location, he assured me changes have been made. In fairness I have modified my rating and review. Will update once I visit at some point.
