I can t say enough positive words about German motorsports. Above all things they are honest. How many auto shops give you an estimate and then come in with a much lower price. They could have easily stood by the original estimate but they were completely honest and charged me for the actual labor hours spent on the car. Quality of the work performed here is also excellent. Will definitely recommend to anyone in need of an honest and reliable auto repair shop. Thank you.

The professionals at German Motorsports do all my service on my many Volkswagens and Audis. Their workmanship is exemplary. But there is one benefit that has not been mentioned here and that is the candy selection in the waiting area! Today I was blessed with the Whoppers Robin Eggs. It felt like Easter! Thank you service writers, mechanics, and candy connoisseurs.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Auto exhaust system repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Recently had an oil change done on my bmw car i got the car back drove 2 miles down the road oil light came on and car shut down I opened the hood there is oil everywhere from the filter housing that was was also cranked on way to tight , I had to pay to have the car towed to Tully and fixed I called the shop German motor sports to let them know what happen less then 24 hours after getting my car back from them and the lady at the desk was rude an unprofessional she wouldn t allow me to talk and hung up on me repeatedly because I was upset . My cars will never go to this shop again I do not recommend them as they have a 10yr old in the back doing the oil changes based on the look of my car . I will be reaching out to a lawyer to recover my cost from the damage ,the tow ,and the original oil change .

I'm not sure who it was I talked to over the phone about scheduling an appointment to have the rear main seal of my car done. But the guy I talked to was extremely polite and explained the reason for the high cost. Can't wait to do business with these guys. This is an add on to the review. For all the work it takes to do the rear main seal, the cost for labor is completely understandable. Brian did an excellent job of breaking down the cost what I should expect to pay for labor and parts. It's probably the most professional garage in the area.

While on vacation in Weirs Beach,, one of the tires blew out on my Mercedes after putting on the spare I stopped at the first garage in sight and it happend to be German's. They tightened the spare and checked the air in the other tires as well and ..... all this free of charge. Excellent service and even more excellent people. Just went there for an oil change and the next day my car broke down and there is oil all over the top of the motor and now they want to hang up on me when I call them and get mad because there was nothing wrong before it went to the shop.

Highly recommend German Motor Sports!! Locally owned and staffed! I have a 2015 VW Beetle that needed some serious work.... replacing steering rack, strut assembly and driver's side window motor/regulator plus some regular maintenance. Estimate given, work done and computer programmed but replacement steering rack had a defect. Steering rack replaced 2nd time w/no issues and car came in under estimate plus cash discount!! Repairs took time due to part availability/scheduling but communication was excellent!

Reviews are not something that I tend to leave often for I do not always feel as though people go above and beyond to ensure the service that they are providing is top notch. HOWEVER, German Motorsports and everyone that I have dealt with here needs to be spotlighted for their exceptional customer service and work. My Audi A3 needed some work. She is on the older side and as we age some, she has too. German Motorsports was a recommendation from my boyfriend who lives in NH. I live in Maine and I am all done giving my business to the dealership so I went with the supporting of small business and I will tell you all reading my review...if you want high quality work done without the dealership cost...make the drive to Gilford. The communication, appreciation and cost will not disappoint nor will it make you feel as though you need to eat Ramen for the next week. So, to ALL of you working at German Motorsports in Gilford, NH...I thank you and appreciate you more than you know. You will forever have my business.

This workshop has cheated me!!!I had brought my BMW 528 xDrive F10 to this garage for repair with engine problems. When the conversation took place after the inspection and I was told that the repair would cost over $4000 and they can't give me a guarantee that it will drive again.Ok, so when I got the bill, with read out etc. And an oil + oil filter change that was done without my consent!!!The best is yet to come!!!Then I decided to fix my car myself, when I drained the oil and removed the filter, they were old, no oil and filter change was done by this garage.I fixed the car with the help of YouTube videos and it cost me 400$ with special tools .This engine problem, is very common in these models, they knew that and wanted to buy the car from me for 1000$ off, repair and resell expensive.

While on vacation in NH my Porsche Macan broke down due to a broken coolant distribution pipe. I had it towed to German Motorsports that night. My first contact with the folks there was in the morning when they found my car in their lot.Even though they were extremely busy and couldn t guarantee that my car would be repaired before I needed it to return home they were able to obtain the needed part and put in the full day of labor to get me back on the road. Outstanding service! They were responsive, helpful, and very nice to work with. You saved the end of our vacation! Thank you!Service: Auto water leak repair

I was in NH on vacation when my Mini Cooper broke down. Without hesitation my car was squeezed into their busy schedule and was diagnosed and repaired very quickly. It is difficult to take your car to a place that you have no experience with. However from my first interaction to my last they were all very friendly, reassuring and frankly talked me down from a ledge!! I highly recommend German Motorsports and owe them a big thank you.

You cannot go wrong with German Motorsports. The entire experience is professional and timely. The service staff is amazing and efficient in scheduling and communication. The technicians are so highly skilled that you can count on getting the best work done for a fair price.

I have been going to German Motor Sports now for 10 years now and I would never consider going anywhere else even though they are 18 miles away, it's worth the drive. If you want top quality, honest & fair competent service, this is the place for you. These guys are simply the best and affordable!

On our way to Maine on a snowy Saturday, our car started to over heat. We were over an hour away from home. After many trying hours and after being settled into a hotel room, we looked online for someone who did Audi's. Our online search took us to German Motorsports. Though all the reviews were very good, we still feared the worse (we have out of state plates). The symptoms our car was displaying pointed to a thermostat, but we were not quite sure, so we felt very vulnerable to an unknown mechanic. First thing Monday morning, we spoke with Matt, a very nice gentleman who had just read the note we had left him. He also agreed it could be the thermostat. A few hours later, the horrible news that it was most likely the water pump, which included the timing belt assembly fell on our ears. Expecting the worse, we were surprised at the price quoted. Though it was not what we had planned for, we were still pleased with the quote knowing what our local mechanics charge for the work. On Tuesday afternoon, Matt called us to let us know our car was done. To give us a break, he informed us that he would give us a 10% discount if we used cash. This was a wonderful help. On Wed. we went back to pick up our vehicle, we found our car parked outside, waiting for us. The work had been done, a leak in the exhaust had been also fixed and the price quoted was as such, no hidden surprises. After spending a few minutes to talk to Matt, we discovered that they were Audi Certified Mechanics. We were treated with the utmost respect. When possible, you will have our business. Thank you Matt and German Motorsports. You made a disaster a little easier to handle.

The truck/car detailing is second to none here! Scott is the best around!!! I highly recommend German Motorsports. Everyone there is so pleasant and knowledgeable! I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my mini cooper...or any other vehicle.

Matt in the Service department was a life saver when my Airmatic suspension completely blew up on me two days after I made it to NH on a road trip. I wasn t lucky to have the car break but I was lucky to be within 5 miles of an exceptional shop who made a super stressful situation as stress free as possible! Would recommend German Motorsports to anyone and everyone! Thank you Matt & the service team!

I have owned BMWs since 1990, and after receiving excellent service from Vista Motors, Ft Lauderdale for decades, I was surprised at how disinterested and lame downstate NH BMW dealers were in responding to my service questions and attempts to schedule appointments. A trusted friend recommended German Motorsports so I brought my BMW over for service. They indicated that my car needed brake replacement. I gave them an immediate go-ahead for a healthy repair fee. Can you imagine my surprise when I arrived to pick up my car and was told the computer reading calling for the repair was incorrect and there was no need for the job or the charge. If you're looking for a competent, honorable outfit to take care of your vehicle, look no further

German Motorsports took very good care of me and my 2009 VW GTI after I discovered a sudden coolant leak. Professional and genuine, each member of the team was kindhearted and made my stressful situation more bearable. I'm grateful for their expertise and their high level of customer service. If you have a German car and you live in the Lakes region, German Motorsports is your go-to for service. They know German cars inside and out, and can handle the tough problems. They are conscientious about giving best estimates uront, if a job is going to be difficult or expensive they'll warn you in advance. Don't be surprised if you have to wait a week or more for an appointment, they're busy all the time.

I have been a customer of Buzz for nearly 10 years...even after I moved to Maine. Why have I kept going back? His character. His morals of honesty and willingness to go the extra mile is clearly displayed in the German Motorsports culture. I couldn't count the number of "emergency calls" I have made made to them or the amount of money they have saved me.

Friend came here for convenience.Look elsewhere for better customer service, higher quality work, and (far more) reasonable prices. Das Auto in Portsmouth or Sam's Euro in Bow, to name a few.

Great place called today they got me right in even tho they were super busy and I didn t have a appt ..addressed my concern on a sound and actually discoveredwork from previous place had been done wrong from previous work I had done few months ago
