When my mechanic was out of commission and then eventually retired and closed I found w&j auto. Honest reliable and fast to get an appointment. A little bit of a distance to travel but worth the peace of mind to know I wont get hosed on repair costs. Honest trustworthy and straight forward.

Awsome garage Awsome guy who owns it did a great job on my cars vary happy with my experience here will go again will refer others and anyone who asks even if they dont went there for first time last year and ill be going back every year now

W&J Auto is a blessing. When I was being railroaded by another garage, Walt took a look at my vehicle and saved me over $1000.00! Excellent and honest service. I will definitely refer new customers. Thank you!

While doing a search for places locally that do undercoat, I came across W&J Auto Repair. I called and made an appointment for my wife's Jeep and they got us in quickly. They use "Fluid Film" for undercoating and that was a nice surprise. Walt and his team were honest, personable, friendly and professional. I never knew they existed down a side street in Franklin but they do great business! Nice they were so close to home! I made an appointment then and there for my vehicle for a state inspection and oil change. Sometimes it's those old-time mom & pop businesses you run into and are glad to have them still around! Today was the second time I went to W/J auto. Its very tough at times finding professional services that you can trust. Again, no disappointment here. Walt makes you feel at home and is willing to show you how things work in the garage and how it pertains to your property. I believe him and his crew are fair, honest, and up front. My search has ended for quality auto services. I have full confidence that Walt will maintain my vehicles satisfactorily until there are nothing left but wheels. His garage is THE BEST.

My new car inspection spot. Everyone was awesome. The waiting room is amazing and one of a kind. Coi fish pond .so beautiful and relaxing. And don't forget the little pups are always a plus. Thanks guys I'll be back

I had to take my Jeep back for the transfer case 3 times he added more problems then I had then told me it was the transmission it was not the transmission he filled the tcase up with gear oil and destroyed it he won t even stand by his work and make it right what a joke this place is I gave him 4 chances before I wrote this review see u in court Walt

It was my first time getting my car inspected and they were very helpful and clear on what I had to do talked me through the process and had taught me a lot about cars, I am definitely going back there for any work I have on vehicles I own and will recommend family and friends to go there as well. Have great prices and are very knowledgeable. Not to mention how pet friendly they are.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I have to admit, when I rounded the corner and saw this tiny little garage at the end of the road, I was skeptical. I also reminded myself that some of these small mom & pop shops are home to some of the nicest, most honest people you will meet; I was not wrong on either account! I am new to the area and my AC wasn't working so I looked around for a garage and diligently read reviews. This shop was head and shoulders above the rest in regards to fair pricing, honesty and good old fashioned customer service that is was an easy call to make. I dropped off the car and within a very short period of time, Walt called me back, let me know what the issue was and offered (recommended) a cheap fix as opposed to a full tear down and replacement. I went with his recommendation and I had my car back later that afternoon with a fully functioning AC unit. I was so impressed with the speed of the work and again the honesty of what needed to be done, I have sent 4 other family members over, all of them completely satisfied!Services: Auto A/C recharge, Vehicle Inspection, Auto emissions testing, Oil change

I recently took my car to Walt to have an oil undercoating done on my vehicle to prevent rust. He was very efficient in getting the job completed. They are the kindest and most honest people you could ever work with. I highly recommend checking out W&J Auto Repair!

It was my first time coming to W&J Auto. I was greeted by such warmth that I've never felt before in an auto repair shop. The workers were all very serviceable and friendly, and made me feel welcomed! I can tell that they value their customers, and that's what matters most to me. Great place everyone should come here. Every time I've taken my car to a dealer they always found something wrong and it costed 500 to get a so called free inspection lol. This place isn't out to scam you

W and J auto has been my repair shop last 2 years. Great service and meet all my needs. Owners are very friendly and fix the car first time with not adding stuff you don't need . Walter is a great mechanic who is trust worthy and takes pride in work .and your getting dealership quality repairs at affordable cost. highly recommend there services

Great place to get your car fixed. They provide excellent details on any issues with my cars, making it easy to understand exactly what was going on. Newer model cars don t be discourage, they have the tools to fix any technical issues! They are well known in the neighborhood, so it s best to schedule an appointment, but even then they can finish your car in a timely manner! I am so happy with the fast work he s done with my car and will continue to use them as our home auto shop!

I had a leak in my a/c. I arrived at the appointment time and my vehicle was immediately brought in. Walt found the leak and recharged the coolant in quick order. He informed me that it would cost about $1000 to replace the leaking component as the entire dashboard would need to be removed to get at it. OUCH. He then suggested I try a specific coolant recharger with sealant that had good results for a slow leak like mine, and showed me where and how to do it. I call that putting the customer's interest first.Service: A/C installation & repair

Very quick and efficient. I appreciated how fast he was because I had to sit and wait. The price had jumped up a bit from the time I spoke with him, but those are just the times we live in now. Cant say enough about how great Walt is. We had our truck towed over to him after the brakes went out. He had it fixed and ready to go within 30 hrs of dropping it off. Fast and affordable.

Super friendly staff. They took me right in after I went and got a ridiculous quote from another shop for a simple inspection when there was nothing wrong to begin with. Was a fair price as well. Will be coming back!

We contacted W&J to look over a truck we were interested in buying from a local dealer. Being from VT we didn't know anyone in the Franklin area and took our chances based on the positive online reviews. I can't begin to explain the comfort and relief we felt after having Walt look at the truck. He was extremely knowledgable, squeezed us in short notice and thoroughly looked over the truck as if he was purchasing for himself. Although we didn't end up purchasing the truck, we felt confident in its' condition and needed repairs after spending just 15 minutes at W&J. The Franklin area should be so proud to have Walt as a part of their community. Thank you!!

Had to inspect both my vehicles and an oil change for one. I was very pleased with the services from W&J Auto. Not only did the technician show me some trouble areas but also made excellent recommendations. Also fixed an issue with noise under one of them. Looking and finding a honest and trustworthy mechanic is like looking for a needle in a haystack we all know it , well I have found the needle in the haystack . Called W&J Auto Repair Friday morning to see if they could fit me in to look at my car cause my front end was BAD , not only did he fit me in ,my car was fixed in a matter of a couple hours, brakes, rotors ,calipers and wheel bearings. Both Walt and Jaime are great mechanics and I highly recommend them. It is a great feeling having mechanics u can rely on and know u can trust .Ty Walt And Jaime for being honest and reliable mechanics . You are stuck with me now and I will be sending people your way...
