I gave these guys a 5 star review even though it took them 4 + weeks to get the vehicle back from them. No one, or very few people are so situated that they can wait 4 weeks for a vehicle. I was told 2, initially, and than when I went to pay they gave me the runaround and told me it could be as much as 3. It ended up taking 4. Bottom line, be prepared to be patient. Aside from that, all the work got done that was promised, I got the truck right in to my mechanic here in Maine and they said it passed with flying colors. Great truck!! Runs like top. Aside from the fact that they are a small crew, these guys are solid and stand by their work. 1000% recommend. Truck was cleaned when it got to me. And they brought it to Exeter for a bit more when it was ready. Alan and Eric are good men in a thankless profession.

don t buy from them. extremely sketchy and shady. unprofessional. not trustworthy. tell you they have a car for you but when you get there it is not ready. changes stories multiple times. overall very untrustworthy and unprofessional, if you re looking for a car don t go here. multiple other reviews said the same thing we did, i wish we read the reviews before we went. DO NOT buy from them.

It is absurd to me the negative and hateful comments on these reviews. I have had wonderful luck with Car Guyz! Al, he always makes sure he answers my call and if he doesn t he gets back as soon as possible. Eric, he is very kind hearted and helped me fix my plates so my car would pass inspection. Yet another thing they do wonderful, inspection! Al did my inspection and never once was he rude in-fact he was quite the opposite. He answered and and all questions I had. I am now returning to him for more business as I think this is a wonderful garage!

Decent vehicles at very reasonable prices. Cash or check accepted, they take trades. Daughter got a good car here.

At first I felt I was being taken care of. My parents bought a well used car for a very reasonable price, the buying agreement was that they would fix everything that it needed for inspection, inspect it and give me a 30 warranty for repairs.... sounded good. 3 weeks in, I still didn't have a car. Granted they lost 2 mechanics so it was taking longer. But I was finally told it was mechanically all set and just needed a MAF sensor. They fixed the MAF sensor issues and put a sticker on it. I picked up the car and drove it home,but didn't even get 15min down the road before the check engine light came on. It was making a horrible rattle noise in the back, it made a noise when accelerating above 60, it didn't like to climb hills, the front left strut is gone and the front right control arm is shot. Kinda not "mechanically sound" these are all issues that wouldn't pass inspection. So I called, left a voicemail and left text messages but got no response. Guess it's mine to figure out how to fix now.So not so sure I would or wouldn't recommend them. It's a toss up. Aside from the needed repairs, I do love my new car.

I waited 2 months after being told it would take up to 4 weeks. The day I finally thought I was getting the car he calls me tells me my money is in my mail box he refunded it. I waited patently wasn't rude to them they are now selling that same car again on Craigslist. Place is a joke. Obviously he needed to be loaned a few bucks. I never leave reviews but what they did was low. Don't buy from here. Actually you told me today your mechanic messed up the light and you had my money in my mailbox and your selling that same car on Craigslist I'm not going to argue with you. I have work and a child I waited patently...

If there was an option to give them 10 stars I would. Just bought a 2012 Civic. Bought 2 other vehicles for my family while I was there because I was so impressed. I gave Al and Bridgette the authorization to call me on speaker phone from the shop with my receipts in hand. The truth. Not made up nonsense no one can prove. The truth. Al please stop dealing with people that are not local! They suck! My name is Sam Davis and I'm extremely happy.

I bought a 2008 Honda fit on July 1st cute car . I went to get it inspected it failed.. it's a saftey issues even though it's a simple fix.. I called immediately right in front of they inspection guy and Bridgette said she would get back to me.. it did take a few weeks but they are honoring it. It just took them a while I'm sure they are busy as hell. But wouldn't mind buying another car

Just purchased a 2005 Nissan Murano from this place and am incredibly let down by the quality of the vehicle and the quality of service. I have had the car for less than a month and had many issues with it. Asked for payment in full then when we asked for it to be broken into 2 payments they delayed the pick-up date by several weeks.

bought a 99 mercury cougar, was told it only had a few dings and that they fixed the exhaust leak, ran fine somewhat until the 30 day warranty ran out now i have all sorts of issues including a bad transmission, a stuck on brake light, they cut out the wiring harness for the radio, and on top of that, half of the buttons in the car dont work the car is literally falling apart. Al i would love for you to get back to me to resolve and fix this issue ive tried calling your store number as well as the numbers listed that was on craigslist and for some reason its either going to voicemail or your just not answering. i have a screenshot of the description you listed and you scammed me and basically saw an opportunity because i was desperate for a car. im literally gonna sue at this point and take you to court if this doesnt get fixed immediately

I bought a used car from them, it is a great little car. I don't think that the owners are rude like some people said. I know all the parts people as well. It is a great place to buy replacement parts for you vehicle. They also do in house financing if you want a decent car, put about a 1000 down and you can make payments off the principal amount they will only finance you for 1 year and you don't have to deal with interest. I give them a A++ for customer service as well. I will be doing business with them in the future.

If I could give negative stars I would. These people are scammers. We sent them money for a car, yet they never got the car to us. Always another excuse. Or else complete silence on their end. It's been months and they have our money, the car we were supposed to get, as well as our trade in car. I highly encourage other buyers to steer clear of this so-called business. Or else you will end up headed to court, like we are.

One of the BEST car buying experiences ever!! Always professional and customer focused. Service is excellent with a full explanation of what is needed. I've purchased a Honda about two weeks back. It's worked perfectly, drove smooth, (something you need as a college student). Being in a rush, the other day I accidentally put deisle into the car instead of gas. The next day my car didn't start, not knowing it was all my fault I contacted the lady I had got the car from. Without thinking twice, she sent a tow truck the same day and brought it back to MA from CT (where I live). Within a day she had fixed the car, and figured out that nothing was wrong with the car from her end, it was the deisle that could have almost blown up my car if I hadn't contacted her. When I explain to her it was an accident, she got the car fixed within 8 hours, and returned the car to me for FREE!! I'm ever so grateful to you, for understanding a college student's financial situation, and being of the kindest car dealing companies!! Extreamly generous and lovley people to work with!! I will definitely recommend this company to all the teens, college students, and to everyone!! They are a great company to buy a vehicle from! 10/10!!

if there was an option to give them a zero i would. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. They are very unprofessional. The women who answers the phone is the wife of the owner and she is rude, she swears at her customers and insults them. She called me a kid and swore at me and i am 47 years old. the time it takes for them to come and pick up the cars is horrible. It took them three weeks to come and pick up my car. I was very displeased and i suggest that you do not use this place. With that personality they are lucky they even get any clients. .

I bought a rebuilt 2010 Mazda 3 from car guyz and I love the car. It runs and drives great. The check engine came on for an o2 sensor, so I called and they told me to bring it and they'd fix it because it came with a 30 day warranty. I'm bringing it in a few days but i give them 5 stars due to good service and most importantly I'm very satisfied with the car.Wow the manager took advantage of a mistake my mom made. She meant to get replacement plates but instead bought new plates, the reason was that I lost 1 plate and the RMV doesn't replace just 1 plate. The owner drove around for a year using our plate! !!! !!!!! we found out because he apparently got a ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street in the snow! Also we got an excise tax bill for that plate that the snake owner of car guys drove!!! !!

I've been mostly pleased with my transactions here. I actually live over an hour away but compared with local salvage yards the prices are better and they've always been polite and helpful. They could maybe benefit from hiring a few more people because at times they seem swamped. I also like that they do have service available there if you need it, but you can also just get your parts if you want to do it yourself. Rip off? Not really considering the price of NEW parts or worse yet, prices from the dealership. I realize car repairs suck and can be expensive, I'll gladly pay a fraction of it buying used.

IUpdateAlthough our initial interaction with this company did not go smoothly we finally got the car and I have to say that the owner was more than willing to listen and own up to their lack of communication the car turned out to be just fine thankfully and hopefully they will fix the problems in communication for the futureInitial reviewwas asked by this company to take my review down but unfortunately because they called me a liar I'm going to edit my review. .the truth of the matter is that all of their voice mailboxes are full and their lack of communication is extremely frustrating. In this day and age customers feeling as though they are not being scammed is important and their lack of proper attention to their customers after being paid in full leaves people feeling like they are being scammed. Clear your voice mailboxes, answer texts promptly, be honest with your customers and people might have more faith. Lastly...dont call people liars when you get a bad review., dont set false deadlines and dont lie to your customers to appease them...fix the problems within your own organization. Hope when we finally get the car that it's all that we were told

I have been waiting for a month to get my vehicle, that I paid for. It was only supposed to take a week. Evey time it's a new excuse. The owner will not even return my call. I wouldn't know anything about the car except from the guy who does the body work. This is a very unprofessional business. If I could give it a zero rating I would.

Good,honest people who stand behind their sale. I got a great classic car project delivered for a fair price. Hope they find another classic convertible and we get to do business again someday .shop with confidence!!

Called in the morning and spoke with someone who ensured me that the part would be pulled and ready to purchase by the time I arrived. After driving for more than an hour and waiting another 30 min in their office, not only was it not pulled but they could not sell the part to me and wouldn't be able to until a few days later. Overall just seemed like a very disorganized office.However, their staff was friendly and my experience was rooted in a small misunderstanding/miscommunication. Wouldn't have been as big a deal if I hadn't traveled a significant amount for it. Overall unfortunate experience but it happens.

These people are great and everyone around this area knows that. I just had them pick up 3 old cars from my backyard. Polite, courteous, & paying much more than the competition. I was recommended to this company from several of my friends locally here in Gardner. I will not call anyone else

I visited this place thinking I was going to buy a used vehicle, how wrong was I! this is the most unprofessional place I've been to and I went to a lot of dealers. You can smell the lies coming through their teeth. It seems they will tell you anything just to sell you. And when you dont bite the bait they treat you like dirt. How can you treat potential buyers like you dont want to be bothered? Or like their money is no good! Do Not Spend Your Money Here!

Numb is the word. Drove a 2007 scion there on its last legs, left it for THREE DAYS with a request for someone to provide a quote for scrap value. The customer service area is filthy, I mean rednecks would be eeked out. I was told nobody on site could provide a quote for the car, the person worked in Worcester Ma. yard, they would be contacted by phone. I followed up twice by phone and once more in person, a huge drain on my valuable time. After three business days, facing their counter guy again, he only said he did not know why I was not contacted. Well, if you are that useless at customer service, then at least grab a broom and mop and clean the place.UPDATE. This information will be corroborated, upon request by google or ANYONE. Of course you have no idea who I am, read the review and gauge the level of service this customer experienced. Your counter guy Fleece could not care less. You should know that. I can furnish documents showing my ownership of a 2007 Scion. I just completed a private sale, for more money. Glad you screwed that up.Remove your quote about stooping. These are documented facts. I will gladly add the name of the organization named on your counter guy's fleece outerwear. Sound familiar? Something a person would only know if they had met him? Let me add you also wasted time of my incredible wife, who followed me there and back in our jeep, while I white knuckled a car that sounded like a helicopter, on what should have been its final journey. You had a chance to post a simple apology, and this is how you handle it?

Bridgette Boyden is a RIP OFF artist. She saw my daughter a mile away. This woman promised my daughter her car for over a week. If could give NO STARS I would! this person is a lowlife. Taking people's hard earned money in many different ways, from scamming my nephew out of tow money to a falsified repair job. Do not do business with these people. I have receipts, recorded conversations and receiepts.Fyi Jeremy Baker is my nephew. Not a false review.Update: July 19, 2019So, took it to a reputable mechanic in WEST SUFFIELD CT. Check this, there wasnt a bolt on one of the tires. Something is wrong with the tie rods. Oh and it's a junk yard engine....

I just bought a vehicle from car guyz a couple months ago and it runs awesome! I commute over an hour each way never had an issue. I had a light come on a couple weeks ago and they fixed it for free even after the warranty expired. Thank you car guyz!

Worst place ever. Took my money for a car they had for sale. Told me 10 days and it would be done. Going on 2 months and I don't have a car or the money. Now they block my phone number. so i have to find a lawyer to get my money back.
