I wish you success if you go in for anything other than having new tires installed. The staff are not allowed to book appointments for any other services. Trying to get an oil change and my tires rotated took multiple tries. I was in the area for the last few days and it was frustrating. The staff were polite. They are understaffed. I wished they didn't drop my wheel covers on the ground. They can chip. The inability to schedule an appointment makes it difficult to utilize the automotive services that they sell.Update: October 2023; You can now book oil changes online. It is still difficult to get service for your tires. I was told that they don't do tire repairs. You will have to try Portsmouth, Seabrook or Hooksett. They have a nicer waiting room than Portsmouth.

I went to buy tires, was told "we don't have any tires for your car". I knew in advance from doing this several times that I would need to order them. I expressly went in to order tires, pay for them, and schedule an install. I was told "we prefer you do it on your device". The folks down the road have the same tires I was looking for, so I'm going to give them the $680 installed rather than Walmart.

Very friendly and knowledgeable and nice people, they didn't have the equipment to fix what I needed, but they assessed it and told me what does need to be done and showed me places I could have it done all at no charge, good people

There was extra staff bagging at the checkout today. I m not sure if it helped with speeding you through. It might have been better use of staffing to give them each a register. But I understand that every employee has not been trained on the register, so there you go. I never see an employee hiding out with their hands in their pockets. Every one is busy.

Went in for tire rotation and balance. Make sure to call ahead and make an appointment! Service is good, but sparse, they are still going through staffing shortages at the (hopefully) tail end of Covid, but it's *much* better than 5 months ago. Was all done in about an hour. Staff was very nice.

Had a battery put in. They don't reset the computer should have said that up front. Also forced my car into gear and broke the linkage. Their attitude was so unprofessional. All of them where late coming in and all had coffee and breakfast on their hands. So not happy . Take your car to a real garage.

If you have hours of time to wait for service go here. A oil change and tire rotation takes three hours. There is no sense of urgency whatsoever. There are lots of technicians in the shop and is as if nothing is happening. The oil change took one hour 14 minutes. The tire rotation almost two hours. The people are nice, the prices good but man talk about oxygen thieves in the shop. It s just unreal it takes this much time for two simple maintenance issues.I really do not know what else to say other than if you like to shop for hours at Walmart then get those two services done while you shop. I won t be coming back anytime soon.

I stopped by this morning to have an oil change done on my vehicle. I didn t realize that an appointment should have been made for that service, but Michael fit me into his schedule. He completed the work quickly and efficiently. I appreciate his honesty and integrity. He worked on the Labor Day Holiday weekend while other service techs did not. Thanks very much Michael!Service: Oil change

Do not use this place. My wife likes them because they are so polite and nice, but there are NO real mechanics here. They were supposed to check the filters etc. when I brought it in last year, and when I got home I decided to check the air filter and the nut was rusted solid on the air box. It definitely had not been taken off. Decided to give them another chance and stressed I wanted the filters checked. In the process of changing the cabin filter they broke my glovebox door and dropped something into the fan so now it makes a terrible noise. Asked him to fix the glovebox and he didn t know how.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

The time & frustration is just not worth the $30-$60 you ll save. I was told two tires were the same one just had deeper tread so they are 80k mile tires. While waiting for 3+ hours I noticed that the ones I originally wanted were definitely better. The manager talked in circles to illustrate he didn t care. I think I ll go apologize to my regular tire guy.

Came in to get an oil change and tire rotation.Never been at a Walmart Tire Center before so was hesitant about the service and quality. Came in early weekday afternoon and the place was almost empty and quiet with 3-4 workers.Drove into a lane but didn't know which one so got out and asked a bearded worker. He just looked at me for a few minutes and finally said "You, over year!" and pointer to lane closest to store. He was rude as heck!!Told cashier about what service was needed and waited almost 2 hours! It was empty as my car was the only vehicle there!Any, paged over store intercom and paid for the service. The price was very reasonable though there was a mixup that I wanted a tire rotation but Walmart included balancing of tires as well for a little more.Oil change and tire rotation appeared to improve the fuel efficiency of the car after I've already replace the engine and incabin filters before then.I'd return for the price and oil change but NOT for the service which was terrible. None of the technicians or cashier talked to me about the service and the first tech, as previously stated, was just rude!!

With an appointment only schedule due to COVID-19, it still took 2 hours to install 4 tires - and incorrectly at that. The person who installed them was a young man who looked to be around 19 and was obviously learning on the job at my expense. Also, there was an older guy there mid-late 30's who did nothing to help get my vehicle done but instead just hung out at the desk with the service writer most of the time. When I was checked in, I was asked if I wanted tire's white letters facing in (hidden) or out (visible). I joked about not being a teenager and that I preferred white letters in (not visible) and the writer confirmed my preference. When I went to get in my car to leave, guess what? They were installed with the white letters facing out. I was pretty BS about it and considering the 2 hours it took to put them on I didn't have an extra couple hours to have the job redone as agreed. So, it's 10 days later and I've not driven much other than on local roads. Only this weekend did I get it out on the highway and up to speed. There is at least one, if not two tires that are not balanced properly. The steering wheel shakes and there's a 'ra-ra-ra...' noise from the rear right tire. This isn't a 'looks' thing. This will affect how new tires wear at best and a potential safety issue at worst. Note that this vehicle had a wheel alignment and safety inspection (which includes the front end) less than a week prior. Plus, I'm not ignorant to automotive repair, I just don't have the means to mount and balance tires at home. Basically, I'm pretty certain it's balance or defective tires.I've tried twice to schedule an appointment to have them rebalanced. However, I've either been left on hold for 15 minutes (seriously) after being asked to hold by the auto department when I had to give up on the call, or they never pick up and I get transferred back to the store's customer service desk a few times before I got disconnected. This location is evidently OK with paying people to sit around when customers are waiting too long because other's skill level has been exceeded. I only gave them two stars only because the four tires eventually made it on the vehicle and the lug nuts were within torque specs.Do yourself a favor and go someplace else or you'll probably wish you did. My opinion based on my experience is the Epping NH Walmart Auto Center should be avoided. It's lacking ambition, sufficient skill level, and ability to provide a quality of service that meets minimum standards. If your a Walmart employee who cares, my service order was #485700 17219 and date of service was 10/8/20 3:10PM-5:09PM.

Got my tire repaired for a good price but felt that staff was rude and they did not tell me when my tire was fixed I had to approach them and ask if the work was completed. also there was air in tire but set to improper pressure. Was told approx. 20 min wait they completed it in approx. 40 min.

They put a new battery in my vehicle when it wasn't the problem, then laughed about it.I asked the mechanic why they didn't plug in an "on board detector, sha actually said I think someone took it home or it was stolen ". At this point I was out $140.00 and needed to bring it to another mechanic where it could be diagnosed and fixed.WALMART AUTO, NEVER AGAIN?

I recently had a tire rotation and balance. Since my tire pressure light was on I asked to make sure they checked the tire pressure on all my tires. A few days later my tire pressure light is still on so I brought the car to the dealer. The Mazda dealer said the tire pressure was 75 on one back tire and 90 on the other. It is supposed to be 35. I could have had a blowout. This after waiting 3 hours for the rotation. Then, they tried to charge me even though I told them I bought the tires there and had free rotation. ayayayaya.

If i could give them zero stars i would. The manager and the entire staff if utterly rude. They treated me so poorly. I went in for an oil change, and was greeted by a woman who snapped at me because i couldn t hear her talking. With that being said i had recently gotten tires put on my car, and they broke a sensor, due to poor training on the sta ff. they assured my father, who took the car that they sensor was paid for and would be replaced. they said they would call when they had this part in. TWO MONTHS later, never got a call so when i was in today, i requested it to be put in. THE MANAGER tried charging me over $50 for something THAT WAS PAID FOR. Moral of the story, unless you want to leave with a bigger problem, DO NOT GO HERE. you will be treated like trash and have things on your car broken

Didn't even go in, I called with questions about my cars battery and basically got told "I don't know if I have the battery your car needs, and I'm not looking it up." One of many instances of wretched customer service I've had there. Rather have my arm chopped off by a local mechanic than go back to them for anything.

Got here at 11:50 it s almost 3 still haven t finished. I m just getting new tires and there was no one here when I arrived. Was told it would take about an hour. This isn t fair to waste hours of my time. Why lie about the time it ll take?

The auto care team is amazing. Only 4 of them and they work so hard and quick to get as many people served before they leave. They all deserve a vacation and raises.

I am sorry but having to wait an hour and a half for an oil change is ridiculous. I was told by another customer that you have to make an appointment. Seriously? I came here due to the fact that I work for Walmart and figured it would be cheaper. It maybe cheaper but I won't be coming back. It's a Saturday and my day off don't want to spend a good part of it at the place I work.

I called and talked to Gene in the tire in lube to see if he could help me look up my tire size & make as I want to purchase 2 more. He gave me the make, and when I asked him for a price, he sighed and said "I have to go to a different category. I have other people here in line that I need to help." He was rude, and I'd rather pay $100 more a tire instead of dealing with that customer service.

Had new tires installed, they were incorrectly balanced. While waiting, overheard manager tell a a mechanic rather than repair another customer's tire, tell him it could not be repaired and sell him a new one.

They close too early. They are understaffed. I think Walmart doesn't employ enough people, anyway. They sure as all heck need more cashiers in the store in general. Customer service did eventually help, and despite the department being closed.

Very friendly and technician explained what they did. Only reason I gave 4 out 5 stars is because of man who does check in is extremely slow and seems confused.

Google said they were "open till 8 PM. Confirmed 2 weeks ago by phone" Got there at 6:30 PM and they were closed. No business hours posted that I could see. Had to ask 4 employees before I found one who said he thought they were open from 7 AM to 5 PM. What a mess!

It is a shame workers are not allowed to accept tips, the guys at the Epping location were wonderful, efficient and super friendly. Especially around the holidays, I feel people should be allowed to be rewarded for good service, its rare these days!!!!!!!!

On schedule (took my car in at my appointment time), quick, great service. Always call and schedule an appointment because they don't do walk-ins.
