When looking for a Mechanic shop my first priority is integrity. My vehicle transports the most important people in my life around everyday, I want to know that it will be able to reliably do its job safely and that the experts I choose to work on it will take that responsibility seriously. DuPonts Service Center does this by having a friendly yet professional client facing department which try their best to understand and meet your need. They maintain communication throughout the repair and provide timely updates. The experts turning wrenches do their job well and are comfortable walking a customer through their repairs or concerns that may require additional attention. They do not use high pressure tactics to sell their expertise. I feel in control of my vehicle and the type and cost of repairs throughout the entire transaction. Highest recommendation for utilizing this company.

I ve had my car serviced at Dupont for a few years now. Very pleased with them. I am always able to get my car in without long waits. The quality of the work is great and the level of service is fantastic. They offer a complimentary shuttle service and Brian is very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

I took my 2022 Subaru Impreza hatchback here for state inspection. Had such a great first experience I returned for a new tire after getting a flat. Josh went above and beyond to help me and really made a stressful situation, stress free! Ryan is such a sweetheart and I always enjoy our rides. Absolutely love this place and will not hesitate to return for future service.

My vehicle needed brakes and a couple other things. Many recommended Dupont's to me and I could not be happier! Communication was on point from my initial inquiry through picking up the car.I was sent a full report, including pictures, an estimate, and was kept informed throughout the day of the status of work being done. They've earned a repeat customer!

Another flawless appointment @ Dupont's ... been a loyal client for years and this one was no different; dropped off vehicle with a check-list of perceived items (including regular 3,000 mile service & tire rotation), then gave me a convenient ride home & then they called a few hours later with the update / details / quote and then a little later came to pick me up & soon I was on my way. Friendly, honest, and transparent. Always a pleasure with Jay, Jackie, Jim & entire team! Thanks again, Jeff H.

As always, the folks at DuPont are efficient and courteous. I feel our cars are well cared for. They suggest additional maintenance only if needed and I never feel there is a hard sell or upselling such as at a dealer.

I had an appointment to get my car inspected, I had never been here before. The service was quick and kind! The seating area was large, clean and supplied with a beverage station (coffee, etc). Definitely taking my car here for future services!

This is my go to service center for auto issues. They are trustworthy, thorough and competent. Here s 2 examples of why i trust and appreciate DuPonts:Several years ago a Dover Toyota Dealer contacted me regarding a recall for my 2013Tacoma. They did the recall and told me that the emergency brake cable had to be replaced at a cost of $880. I declined because i was aware of this dealer s reputation. Service advisor said truck would not pass state inspection (4 months away). A couple months later i had DuPonts replace front brakes. When I picked up Tacoma the invoice showed that they also adjusted emergency brake, no charge .The other example is a Portsmouth Mercedes dealer. Took advantage of a discounted Schedule B Service . As is typical of this dealer, they recommend additional work based upon issues that the technician uncovered. When I dropped off car i told my wife that they would likely call me and recommend about $2,000 in additional work. Well, I was wrong, when I got the call a couple hours later the service advisor advised that the technician surfaced several issues that needed to be addressed. (Alignment, rear brakes, idler pulley). I asked the cost for the repairs and he said about $7,500. I told him not to do work. Took the car to DuPonts, asked them to rotate tires, do an alignment and check rear brakes. Got the car back later that afternoon. Alignment was adjusted & tires rotated- cost was $144.45. DuPonts also did a complimentary and thorough 44 point inspection of my 2014 E350 (61,000 miles.) The car passed every category with rear and front brakes having minimal wear and in good condition. DuPonts $144.45 vs. MB $7,500Need i say more as to why DuPonts is my go to service center?

Wonderful experience, staff was very polite and accommodating. From the online quote to picking my car up once finished they were all friendly and helpful. I worked with Jay who provided a thorough quote for my services, prompt follow up and offered additional services that made sense and worked to accommodate my schedule. Will definitely be returning!

I love DuPont s service. Great people that work there and they are so friendly. A little pricey but the price matches their customer service and work that they do. I go to college at UNH and whenever I need work done on my truck they are the first person that comes to mind. 100% recommend this service center for any work that you need done on your vehicle. They offer their own taxi service at no cost too, so no having to wait hours or Uber back and forth if you do not have a ride.

I wish I had found them sooner. They're very easy to work with and go out of their way to find the root of a problem rather than finding a band aid. Their communication throughout the time they have my car with updates, delays, rides, options is second to none! I'm someone who really cannot afford to go without my car and they've always made it work! Thanks, Duponts!

The whole team was great! Not only did they do a great job with the car but they absolutely made our 3yo day! He thought seeing the car in the air on the lift was the coolest thing ever. His day was made even more when he was allowed to push the button to lower the car off the lift. He s been talking about it all weekend. Worst service EVER!!! This place is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Go anywhere but here. I m pretty sure they tampered with my car to get me to pay more for parts.. two lights that were working before mysteriously were out. Car was brought in working perfectly fine for inspection.. now It has issues that it didn t. They wanted to charge me 500 dollars to tighten my Ebrake, which I did myself in 10 minutes watching a YouTube video.. I they also failed to give me back my registration and never called to let me know they had it!! Stay far away from this place.. their prices are super high.. I would give this place zero stars if I could.. never going back ever and neither should you. I hope it goes out of business because these people are crooks!!!

This is my third service appointment at Dupont's Service Center. They are extremely knowledgeable about my BMW, and I have found them to be very professional and truly concerned about the customer and their car needs. I highly recommend them.

I have to many good things to say . Customer Service ,communication.From the 1st call all the way through the fixing of my vehicle . Nothing but respect for Jay and Nick. I've never had such a positive experience, like I had at Duponts in Dover NH . They have a lifelong customer from now on. 5 stars isn't enough. My appreciation cup, has flowed over . I have my 1957 Chevy truck serviced at Dupont's and the entire team is fantastic to work with! Mike just swapped out my front drum brakes for disc brakes and the work was fantastic. I had to source new rims to fit over the disc brakes and Mike helped me do that and was patient while waiting for the parts to arrive.Services: Brakes, Brake service & repairServices: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Brought a truck here on a test drive from the dealership nearby to have a mechanic dig into it for me. In and out in 30 minutes, they did a full inspection and even test drove it themselves. Highly recommend Dupont.

The repair experience "exceeded expectations". I had to do my own head gasket repair because the value of the vehicle is lower than the shop cost. Of course it didn't start when I finished because I can't deal with "modern" Engine Control Management systems. They could of told me to get-lost because "we don't know what you did to that engine." Well, thanks to the DuPont crew my (too old) vehicle is back from being scrap with no attitude what-so-ever about getting me over to "home plate" under the circumstances. I've been working with Dupont for several years now for the storage and switching out of my winter tires, and have always found them to be very courteous and helpful--always doing a good job, plus going the extra mile with customer service. This year they went above and beyond.Just before Christmas I brought my car in after needing a jump-start for the 5yr old battery. In spite of not having an apptmt and being such a busy season, they soon took time to carefully checkout the problem ultimately saying the battery was good enough to last longer, just that I would need to run the engine every few days. I greatly appreciated not being pushed to immediately replace my hybrid's expensive battery, AND they didn't charge me for this whole checkout process.The week after Christmas I made an apptmt for the coming Friday to have the winter tires put on, but the morning before, after not having started the car for too many days, the battery again needed a jump-start. That day I needed to run errands, but was now afraid it might not start the next day for the apptmt. So, I called Dupont and asked if I could leave my car overnight for the next day's appointment AND could they also make time to change the battery as well as tires. The answer was yes and yes. :)But then my ask became bigger. That coming weekend was to be a snowstorm and if I could leave my car with them over the weekend, after the work was done on Friday, I wouldn't have to shovel my car out for the plows where I live (break for this 74 yr old :). Dupont most generously said that would be fine.Finally, when I came in the following Monday (thanks to their ride service), I found the bill for the battery and tire work was lower than I expected. (By then I was aware that the original price quoted to me had an error--too low for the install into my model car.) I thought we agreed to split the difference in the amount originally quoted and the correct amount. But, when I picked up the car they insisted on only charging me the original amount quoted! I couldn't have been more impressed!This is a business that throughout my years of working with them has consistently shown a true commitment to customer service, and most importantly, to business integrity. They will definitely be seeing my car for its service needs as they come due. Thank you! JamieService: Tires

Absolutely outstanding. I'm a transplant from Texas and just blown away by how incredible their service is. They're clean, fast, efficient and even have a free local shuttle service. Everyone that comes in seems to be a regular, and while you wait they have videos of employees performing maintenance on vehicles, showing off their methods and high end technology. It's hard to believe places like this exist in today's service standards, I cannot recommend this business enough.Edit: in response to a review about treating women unequally, I literally just watched two separate female customers come in and get helped just the same as everyone else in the time I've been waiting. (I'm too cheap to get an Uber and didn't realize the free shuttle service was a thing till I got here.)

I am a Domino s driver currently, and when my radiator began to leak, my boss recommended me to these guys. While it seems they do good work, for my situation specifically, I dealt with some issues getting the job done. First of all, the radiator was ridiculously expensive, despite the OE option being available on RockAuto for $150 less. I wasn t able to find out why this was the case. Secondly, after driving my car off, I found that the top transmission cooler line on the radiator was leaking, but the people couldn t get me back in right away, even though that was part of the job. My friend and I added thread sealant and fixed the problem, as there was almost none on the fitting when we disconnected it. I m sure I just had a fluke and had a poor job done, as my boss hasn t had any issues with them, but I don t think I m personally going to go back here.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have been going to Dupont's for a few years now and was really taken aback by the poor resolution when I had an issue with parts and work after replacing front brake calipers on a 2012 Subaru Impreza. Both front brake calipers were replaced, no problems with initial brake job, but a few weeks after the repair I noticed lots of surface rust on the passenger side brake caliper, but none on the driver side it was still nice and silver (see pics). Looks like passenger brake caliper was never treated with anti-corrosion/paint like the driver side.I informed Dupont's about this issue, they re-inspected the brakes, and I was told that ALL the passenger side brake calipers of this type came that way, untreated/unpainted and there is nothing they can do for me. I am sure Dupont's could contact their brake caliper parts supplier for an exchange of a properly treated/painted brake caliper, but they decided not to do that for me.Maybe they are too busy and losing one customer doesn't matter, but I hope this helps other people know what they are walking into these days at Dupont's.

First time using Dupont's. Brought my son's car in for a charging issue. So far so good. It's only been 3 days but in the past 1 day was long enough for the car to NOT start. Very professional staff. Kept us updated on progress as well. Would definately recommend.

Front desk employees are always friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable with regard to almost all makes and models. You accumulate points for work done and can use them to reduce amount owed on future work. I recently used my points to bring down the total amount due from S412 to $27. I appreciate the skills of the technicians, the friendliness of the courtesy driver Brian, and especially the assistance of front desk employees Jim and Jackie.Service: General repairs & maintenance
