My experience with Dover Chevrolet has been disappointing so far. Although my vehicle is Certified it wasn t inspected properly before delivery. The tires were under inflated, there was no windshield wash fluid, it hadn t been well vacuumed (see photo), the glove box had a manual for a different car, and the driver s door was missing a door lock cover that wasn t missing when I test drove the car. The last two items have been ordered and I hope to receive them asap. These are all relatively smaller issues but it makes me wonder if bigger things were missed as well. I ve called to ask service related questions with no response. I m hoping that Dover can provide better service in the days to come.Service: Auto maintenance

The Loyalty program is nothing but lip service. They are only interested in getting your money and ripping you off with maintenance coupon book. There's no accountability for what their employees say or do.

Nothing was fixed, and the car was at their dealership overnight and all day long the following day (for the second time) before finally getting a call to pick it up at 4:30pm. Nothing was fixed and they couldn t find anything wrong. I asked if they did specific tests to find the issue that my regular mechanic told me he would do as a standard practice in the situation I was experiencing. She said they didn t do any tests, they only looked for active codes. There were historical codes showing transmission fault on my 2024 Chevy vehicle, but she couldn t do anything without active codes. Evidently, they re code readers rather than mechanics at Dover Chevy . Disconcerting as a customer to purchase a brand new $58,000 vehicle and have it a few months later go into limp mode with flashing notices all over the dashboard telling me there s a transmission issue while my new truck makes strange noises and has limited acceleration (which I videotaped) and then have the dealership service center tell me sorry, there s nothing we can do unless there s a current code to look at and send me on my way to wait for it to happen again out on the highway.UPDATE: the exact same scenario happened again, two weeks later. I called Dover Chevy so that I could bring the car over immediately while the codes were current and no one answered the phone in service. I called Hilltop Chevrolet and they told me to bring it right over. They set me up with a free rental car while they diagnosed and fixed my truck, they did actual diagnostic work to determine that the transmission speed sensor and input shaft were both faulty. They fixed the problem and my truck drives like a dream now. It never drove this way even on the very first day I picked up the brand new truck. They told me that essentially I was driving around with only four gears and that s why I was getting such bad gas mileage. If I had listened to Dover Chevrolet, I would have driven the entire lease term with only four gears and paid hundreds of dollars every year in expenses that were not necessary. Do not trust the service department there at Dover Chevrolet to do the right thing for their customers.

Jennifer was fantastic throughout the duration of my service appt. She was transparent with my car s needs, up-front about cost, and was very communicative throughout the service. After confirming my assumption that I needed breaks, the parts were ordered and the car was back on the road quickly. 5/5, thanks so much, Jen!

Picked up a couple parts for my 2024 CRV. Asked if they had time to install on that day and they did. Awesome experience as I did not have to wait very long, nor would I have to struggle with the installs (seat protectors and Homelink mirror) myself. I purchased my vehicle elsewhere but will only be taking it to Dover Honda for service. They are awesome!

I recently hady Nissan serviced and inspected at Dover Honda and it was a great experience. Booking the appointment was a breeze, my car manager James kept me up to date on repairs thru text communications and a nice guy gave me a ride home in the courtesy shuttle. The work done by the techs was awesome and I felt like I had a new car when I got back on the road. I couldn't recommend Dover Honda any higher, totally outstanding.

Luke took care of me in the service department. He kept me well informed, he was very professional, and he even fix the seven dollar battery in my fob that hadn t worked for almost 5 years. I would highly recommend Dover Honda.

Always great service!! Honest people! I absolutely love Jen & Emily at the service counter! I sometimes even stay longer than usual just because I can t stop talking to them.. Awesome people in the garage and awesome management!!! I 100% love bringing my car there to get oil changes and when needed other things!! Excellent customer care and service. After it was explained that my wait time would be 4 or more hours, I was immediately given a loaner car for the day. This was excellent timing and advice as my son needed to be picked up from school at noon due to illness.

I ve gone here for service on my Civic. The Service staff here are always friendly and helpful with my needs and questions. They will recommend items that will be needed in the future, but are never pushy about items needed now that could wait. Have and would recommend them. Thanks!

Failed my car for pads being under 2/32, brake pads all around are brand new and done by myself. Tried to show me a video of the low brake pads and the pads were not even in the video. Wanted to charge for new brakes at $700, they didn't even look at them. Convinced the other services I was charged for were not done as well. Scumbags.

We took our truck in for a warranty/recall fix. They were ready for us when we arrived, had a very nice waiting area, and finished it in the time they had predicted. They also did a multi-point check of the truck. An excellent service experience!

Re: experience @ Dover Honda -Terrible! First off, the estimate to perform the work - (1hr/45 minutes)was way off.. the service advisor did not keep me abreast of the service progress. After waiting 2 hrs/15 minutes, I went out to the service checkin and was informed by the advisor that she was just printing the invoice now. The vehicle requires a specific oil filter that needs to be ordered ahead of the appointment. The advisor checked with the shop and assured me that the shop had it ready to install. Then on the service printout, it states that a Honda filter was installed. So is that a misprint, or was the wrong filter installed?They could NOT rotate the mini tires.They could NOT check mini oil to attend to the warning light.Lack of attention to detail is what is missing here. Totally unsatisfied with this visit.

I have always enjoyed very good service with Dover Honda and James was excellent providing information, updates etc. on my manufactures recall warranty on my 2020 Honda pilot. They also advise me of a couple of service items including brakes that I m aware of that I need to get done pretty soon.

I been going for 5 years now. There is a reason. Excellence! Their hours and days of operation; availability and excellence.
