Car Tunes is an awesome place to get a car starter! They have put in several starters in several of my family & friends vehicles! They are Always polite & professional & do a great job! I Highly recommend them!

Place is awesome extremely knowledgable mechanics/technicians and extremely friendly. Had an issue with my vehicles brake light and passenger side directional. Dropped my vehicle off at they had it back to me in 2 hours all set ready to pass inspection. The guy working in my car explained the exact problem and solution. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone

Car Tunes did remote starter installs for both mine and my wife's car and we love it!!! On time and courteous and very informative on how to use the starter. I recommend anyone who needs a remote stater, go to Car Tunes!!

It was such a seamless process. Dropped my car at 9:00am to have a car starter installed and it was done a few hours later. I can now get in a warm car before and after work, greatly appreciated. Very friendly and informative staff.

Bob, the owner, appears to be a very reasonable man who puts the customer first. Although my remote starter installation didn t go as smoothly as I had hoped, Bob was willing to work with me to resolve the issue.

Just had a dash cam and backup cam installed. Everything was excellent just like the last 2 times I went there for a new radio for my truck and a remote starter for my truck.

I got my subwoofers installed by car tubes about 10 years ago, anytime I had a problem I brought it in there and they fixed it free of charge :-) of course it was a minor fix because I m not an expert lol. But I actually had to get them reinstall the other day, and they did excellent, I have no complaints at all, and they are very professional and awesome! I would suggest them to everybody and I always do. Keep it up guys. Thank you for your service!

Installation - Part 2:My son was looking to have stereo and speakers upgraded in his vehicle, so naturally I planned to return to Car Tunes again after my great initial experience. I'm sorry to say that my initial review of Car Tunes is now entirely tarnished. The issues focus solely on communications. I communicated my wishes to have a head unit installed with HDMI connection only to learn during the installation process that the HDMI cabling was not carried by Car Tunes. I provided the required cable. However I discover later that the parking brake by-pass for video viewing restriction was not installed. Also I discover when picking up the vehicle that the radio reception was still not working (this was a pre-existing condition). When I questioned the radio reception issue, I was informed that 3 different antenna connections were used and none of them worked and the problem is probably the antenna itself. I would have appreciated a heads-up regarding the issue versus finding it out later on. For component speaker included an adjustable crossover. The crossovers were installed in my dash and are inaccessible. My recommendation to avoid these issues is to create a written work order detailing what will be installed. There are too many details that slip thru the cracks b/w customer, Brian & the install tech. I paid over $600 for installation and I am not pleased with the results. Again I stated in my initial review that I have high expectations for service and Car Tunes did not meet them this time.Part 1 - Initial reviewIn general I have a very high expectation for services. Unfortunately this level of expectation typically leaves me with a rather ho hum experience. My experience with working with the staff at car tunes was extraordinary. Outstanding knowledge with professional and friendly staff. I wholeheartedly urge anyone needing car stereo and electronics to contact car tunes.

Great customer service got my amp and subs installed went back 5 months later with amp not working,only to find out it was just a fuse and they serviced it for free for being a continuous customer,which really impressed me,for being my equipment not something they sold me ,Thanks again car tunes you guys rock

I am writing this review a year after getting two screens installed into my car by this shop. From the moment I got my car back I was stunned by how professional it looked! There is no way to tell that the screens weren t part of the car before! I absolutely love my screens and my backup camera and I haven t had an issue with either in the past year!

I just had a Chevy amp replaced. These people are truly professional and did a great job. I knew this was a particularly difficult job but they knew exactly what they were doing. I will be going here from now on for ANY electrical issues with my vehicle.

I have had 3 remote starters and one Kenwood AM FM C D/Flashdrive radio installed here. I would not go anywhere else.Now it is Sept. 2023 and I'm back for a Kenwood Dash cam and rear facing cam combination for my F-350. Excellent installation and Kevin took a lot of time going over the operation of it with me. [Much appreciated] It's not complicated; But I'm 75 years old and stupid. It's on all the time without me needing to remember to turn it on, and it's hardwired into the truck; not plugged into a dash power outlet. Cost is in line with what the product offers. I threw away 3 cheaper cams I had in the past; and could have bought this one for the combined price of those 3 junk ones.

Michelle and Bob run a very professional business. We got a remote car starter inserted into our Mazda and it is perfect. They explained everything really well and work was done very quickly. I recommend this business very highly.

I would recommend this place again. On one condition. Before you pay and pick up your vehicle after they put in a remote starter, make sure they did the job correctly! I had my Ram 1500 in to get the remote start system put in because this was basically my Christmas present. Had the gift card and appointment card all set. When I walked back to pick up my truck and head back over to work for 5 more hours, I start up the truck and the left front and rear markers weren t lighting up. Had to take it back before 6pm to fix the mistake on one side. Everything works now, but what I was not informed as I was driving home I feel something dangling under my feet and that was they forgot to screw the hood release back up onto the bottom panel I was able to put it back up myself with a philips screwdriver. That was my only two issues with this place. Other then those two cons, Friendly staff, and they do decent work when they don t feel they need to rush.

Front desk lady was wonderful and kind, and took time to talk and take interest in my ramblings. Had a remote start put in, was in and out in 4 hours. They send you a text to let you know it s done, and they ll arrange with you if you want to pick it up after hours. They take the time to explain how it works before they let you drive away. I even noticed some dog hair got vacuumed up for me - LOL. Overall very happy with the business!

This is the second car starter I've had installed on different vehicles in the last 4 years at Car Tunes Etc and just as it was the first time I went there I am very satisfied with the installation, the knowledge of everyone there and how welcoming friendly and helpful they are. I will definitely go there again. I give them a 10 out of 10..

STEER CLEAR!!!! They have a terrible business model and shady revenue tactics... I scheduled an appointment to have the wiring of my fog lights looked at because they were blinking. I get told that everything was OK and all they had to do was replace a fuse. At the time, I questioned why the fuse would go if the fog lights still worked sporadically but I was told "we looked at everything". I pay for an hour of labor and leave. THE FOG LIGHTS DON'T WORK THE VERY NEXT DAY! I go back in to explain the issue and have to make another appointment a month later for my car. I again specifically told them to look at the wiring when I set up the second appointment. I go to my second appointment, and I'm told I have corroded connections in the wiring of my fog lights. I was charged another hour of labor and wasn't given my keys until paid. I had just come in a month ago to have my fog lights looked at, why weren't the connections looked at the first time? When I asked that to Trevor, he said "well why should I keep looking at the fog lights if replacing the fuse seemed to fix them." Well, I specifically asked you to look at the wiring of my fog lights, the fuse box is separate from the wiring. Somehow the wiring was never looked at when I specifically asked for the wiring to get looked at, and it became my fault and my expense because Trevor took the easy way out. Trevor had nothing ordered or in-stock to even perform the work that my vehicle needed during both of my appointments so no matter what, I was going to have to pay them for absolutely nothing to get installed in my vehicle. While setting up both appointments, I should have been aware that the company has NO FOG LIGHT EQUIPMENT IN-STOCK since I took both days off from work during my appointments because I was expecting work to get done on my vehicle.Shady business tactic!! I told Trevor that it felt like he was stealing from me and I will never go back. I live walking distance to this shop so I figured I would give it a try.HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I spent $200 to have my fog lights diagnosed and Trevor quoted me $350 for brand new fog lights on-top of the $200 I had already spent to diagnose them. I asked if the $200 could go towards the $350 bill since he technically did nothing to my vehicle and was told no. He felt that my two appointments to diagnose the problem were separate and that I needed to pay for each and the new fog lights. WOW! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!! Shady revenue tactics and horrible communication. How do you have any repeat clients??

Installation was on schedule and minor fine tuning was completed the next day without appointment. Cartunes always provides the best service in the area and the estimate was beat by the actual work necessary. Great job, total satisfaction again.

Very happy with my purchase of my remote car starter. Went to the Derry NH store to make an appointment on Saturday 1/7/23. Their next available was 1/31. They had a cancellation and could install that afternoon. Drop off my truck and they we re done with the install in a couple of hours.
