Recently purchased a 2023 Ford Escape from Macdonald Motors. Have to say Mary Shawn Chip Tom all went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly from the paperwork to the setting up the vehicle to the phone..all deserve a huge thank you.. and if anyone is looking for a vehicle I highly recommend them...thank you again

How cool is it to go to a dealership and sit in the showroom and just chat with owner. That was just a small part of an overall fantastic buying experience and got the exact truck I was looking for. It was well worth the hour and a drive (in a snowstorm no less). Thank you Mary, Chip, and Shawn very, very much for all you did.

I came to NH from Maine to this dealership to get the right vehicle at a good price. Very impressed - first class service and great people. They went to great lengths to locate the truck I wanted which came via a dealer trade. I can't say enough good things about this Ford dealer.

This is a fantastic "old school" dealership! No high pressure sales push, family owned, and very attentive to every detail. Shawn Turner went above and beyond to work within my timeline and my outside financing company. I wish there were more smaller dealers like this still around, it is so much better an experience than the giant dealership experience, that's probably why they have been in business so long!

Bought new tires, great deal, and had all 4 done in about an hour. Staff were polite and friendly. They are also one of the only dealerships in the area that has the new Bronco * it is not for sale it is a demo only for test driving.*

Never have I ever had a better experience at a dealership. Talk about going above and beyond, both Mary and Chip did just that. They knew I was in the market for a new truck and when they said they had one for me, they weren t wrong. I had never owned a Ford before, but this F250 crew cab exceeded my expectations. And let me not forget Shawn the sales manager, he s not what I expected from past experiences. He listened to my needs and even ran a few extended warranty options for an informed decision. I couldn t be more satisfied with the deal and customer service I received from everybody. Thanks, Mary, Chip, & Shawn!

Two stars are more than I originally intended to give these guys after my run in attempting to help a friend buy a used Mustang. We road tested this vehicle a week ago and the only complaint was a brake pulsation slowing from 50 mph down.. The sales manager Mark Parker asked the usual question " what would it take to get you to take the car today" ?? I told him the rear brake rotors were rusty and it felt like the rear brakes were creating a brake pulsation when slowing.. He said that was no problem as the car still needed to go through the shop and they would take care of it.. Calling back the next week we were told the car was all set and they wanted a "Non Refundable" deposit to hold the car.. We probably should have called off the deal then !!!! We drove back out to the dealer ship to buy the car, and I noticed the brake rotors were still rusty and I asked to take the car for another ride as I didn't think the issue was addressed.. When I got back from the road test and told them there was still a problem, they brought us to the Service Writer to see what they found when looking at the car.. We were told everything was inspection legal, but it would need Rotors to solve the pulsation.. Wouldn't that be considered a SAFETY ISSUE ?? We then had the luxury of speaking with Mary, the owner who checked into the cost of repairs and upon return told us there wasn't "Money in the Deal" to fix the brakes.. WOW !!! When I told her I would offer up this dissatisfied Google Review, she said " If you are going to give me a bad review, I am not going to sell you the car".. The lady buying the car agreed not to give her a bad review, BUT, I didn't !!! We did end up leaving with the car at their full asking price and will have to get the brakes repaired on our own for $400-$500.. So, come to find out Mark Parker had been fired and even though he had told us "No Problem" in front of our sales person, apparently that didn't make any difference to Mary MacDonald.. In closing, if you intend to do business with this dealership, make SURE you get any conversations/deals in writing !!! We probably would not have taken the car, but had already given them a $2500 "Non Refundable" down payment (which Mary did eventually offer to give back) then taken the day off to go to the credit union to get a check, then drive 100 miles to buy the car that we were told was "All Set".. I would think twice !!!I do have to add that the rest of the staff including our sales person, sales manager and service department were very pleasant and helpful..

I Purchased a 2018 F150 for 36K, the vehicle I purchased was not the vehicle I received.. According to pictures taken, Vehicle was assembled in the US, shortly after pick up, I examined the vehicle and found that it was riddled with Mexican parts and the decals of assembly indicated Oakville, Canada which did not exist during test drive. I filed a six page report with pictures before test drive and after delivery with the New Hampshire Attorney General s office.. There is an on going investigation with this and other dealerships..

My first impression was that Charlie, the service manager, was totally on top of his game. I was not lied to, which is important to me. This isn't my first time using this service and I found MacDonald Motors trustworthy across multiple interactions. The work was done well and in the time frame they said it would be. I would recommend them without hesitation to others.

Listen, I know sometimes people give 5 star reviews because they really want to make the recipients feel good, but I rarely leave will leave a 5 star review. These folks hit it out of the park for me. I walked in cold asking about financing and in 10 minutes I was on the lot shopping for a new truck. It only took another 5 minutes to pick the best truck for me. No pushy sales tactics and no fluff in the cost. The owner personally worked with me to get me on the road in that truck that same day. And it was a Saturday on a holiday weekend, but she made it all happen, worked the numbers to fit my budget and made sure all the bases were covered so I could drive off right away feeling great in my new truck. Honestly, I m still shocked they were able to make my sale in the short time we had, even though we are from out if state. Sure I know that in the end dealers want to meet sales goals. But MacDonald really made me feel like it s about what works for me. I ve never had such an outstanding buying experience. If you want a great price on a great vehicle without any bull, go here. They will always be my first call from here on out (and we live a couple of hours away.) Thank you very much to all the fantastic staff at MacDonald. I couldn t be happier.

After many months of excitement and dealing with what seemed like pretty cool people I was informed I would be paying the Macdonald's extra money on top of the already agreed upon price for a new vehicle I was ordering through them. I was essentially told they didn't make enough money off of me for it to be worth their while to sell it to me, but I was assured they will still be ordering the vehicle should I change my mind. Poor business practice and sub par customer service. Quite a shame as they really seemed like a good honest business at first, too bad greedy hands are in charge.

Working with Chip was the easiest car purchase my family has ever experienced. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Chip was down to earth, respectful of our time and did not press us in anyway. Getting an appointment is difficult each time I ve tried. My most recent was two weeks out. When I arrived they took in two walk up customers!Perhaps there is a schedule issue here due to walk up customers?Left car for the day, they called 5 mins before closing to say if you can get here you can pick up. What!? I live 20 mins away.

I bought my beautiful F-150 XLT in June of 2020. I really dislike vehicle shopping due to a previous experience with dealerships. We ll that changed when I stopped at MacDonald Motors. The experience was pleasant. I felt listened to and the entire process was stress free. I am totally in love with my truck and I love the family atmosphere at MacDonald Motors. I hope to have my baby for many years to come and I know that when I do purchase another, I m going back to MacDonald Motors without hesitation!

I never write reviews, but I feel I am doing this as a public service announcement! I was in the market for a new truck and in the past I had purchased a couple trucks from Berlin City with great success. So I looked on the lot at Berlin City Ford but due to supply shortages, they didn t have what I wanted, but could order me one. I was too impatient for that, so I found what I was looking for at MacDonald Motors in North Conway, I spoke with a salesman and agreed on a price, without looking at the contract, my fault, bad move #1! The salesman and I had discussed a dropped in bed liner, keypad on the door and mud flaps which he said would be an extra $52 ish per pair. All was good or so I thought. I offered to return in a week with my truck and a check but they suggested that I just sign my title and come back in a week or so with the balance. The finance guy suggested that I just wire the money, which I ended up doing, bad move #2! I went back to the dealership two weeks after the sale to have the bed liner, keypad and mud flaps installed. All was good until they gave me a bill for installing the mud flaps, and then a separate bill for the keypad and installation too! I mentioned to the salesman that the keypad was supposed to be included in the deal and he said NO , my fault, bad move #3! It ended up costing me $30 to wire the money to them and it cost them $15 to receive it. Guess what, I got yet another bill, this time in the mail for the $15 it cost them for the wire transfer! I am just thankful I didn t have to pay extra for the air in the tires! There was also a bed divider listed on window sticker ($391) that wasn't in the truck when I picked it up, they happily provided one when I asked, but IF I hadn't asked, I wonder if I would have received it. Their service dept was very good to me, BUT I will NEVER buy another vehicle from MacDonald Motors again! IF you do, be prepared to record your conversations and look at the printed contract before agreeing to the deal. I am not saying they lied to me, I am partially to blame, but they won t get me again!

Brought my vehicle in for a state inspection. Told it wouldn't pass because the rear lower control arms were "dry rotted." Asked for the old parts that were replaced and there is barely surface rust on them. They had no problem taking my hard earned $366 for work that didn't need to be done.
