Can't say enough about their kindness, efficiency and professionalism. They're honest too, which is difficult to find these days. I've been using them for 6 years now and won't go anywhere else unless I have to!

I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. These guys are professional, personable and do quality work. They clearly take pride in what they do. I called because I desperately needed brakes and they squeezed me in seemingly out of general concern for my safety. I couldn't be more appreciative.

As a recent transplant, I had to remove the tint from front windows so my car would pass inspection and was in a bind as to who could do it. They recommended a place and it worked out! Then, I needed a new battery and they installed the one I purchased that day even though they were busy. Love this place!!!

First time visiting Village Street Garage.Went in for State inspection and an oil change on my truck.. They checked it, passed the inspection and changed the oil all in 20 minutes! I'll be going back with my car as soon as I get it out of winter storage. Will report back afterwards.

I cannot thank the owner Jeff and Travis enough. These two were anole to reassure me that everything would be okay. The owner told me he would be fair to me and wanted to make sure I was back on the road safe. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. They were able to go above and beyond expectations. They were able to work with me and make sure that triple A was able to drop my car off with plenty of room. I m beyond blessed that I was recommended to them! I think this is such a great place to go for car maintenance that I can't recommend it highly enough. They are honest and work quickly and have fair prices. They get to know their customers individually and really take the time to help you work out the best services that you need. I've had all kinds of work done on four different cars that I've owned and I definitely will keep going back to them. We have been using Village Street Garage since we moved to Penacook. They have always been SO informative, straight-forward, and deliver a great and personal experience. From the front desk to the mechanics, to the owner, they run such a smooth and trusted business. Recently, my husband needed a few things done on his truck - header bolt, ball joints, and struts. We were kind of in a pickle because we were going to need to share my car while all this was being repaired. My husband let them know that, but wasn't expecting them to rush. They finished the repairs THAT DAY so that I could make it to my appointments on Thursday and my husband could still get to work. They charged him about $500 less than the original quote, and even gave my husband a Village Street hat and sticker on the house! We LOVE Village Street Garage for their amazing mechanical skills and pricing, but also because they are kind, understanding, and treat you like a real person! I would recommend to ANYONE! Thank you VSG :)

I have an inspections, general service work and performance mods completed.When I visit the location everyone is friendly and welcoming. Realistic expectations are set for the required work to be done at a reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone looking for and honest reliable garage for their vehicle service or repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Would not recommend at all. They told me my control arms were slightly loose nothing to worry about. Less than a month later the complete subframe was practically gone. Not okay to tell someone their car is okay to drive when it could let loose at any point in time. Not to mention unprofessional and refused to do service I had asked for and was told just don t worry about it Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Had my daughter's car towed here after it wouldn't start on a Friday morning. They were busy and down a tech but was still done by 4 PM the same day! Great communication and friendly staff. I had to have a lugnut replaced here. There was no hassle, and the employees were professional and polite. The shop was clean with good parking. They let me borrow a loaner car which was clean, comfortable and fun to drive.

Great service provided by a great staff! Over the last 5 years, I've always had good experiences here. They're always friendly, professional, and willing to take the time to explain what is going on with your car. This is my "go to" garage and now that they inspect motorcycles, I'll be visiting even more. Keep up the great work!

If you need comprehensive engine work or diagnosis, take caution! Please read:My modified car was having engine problems and smoked a little more than usual, so i called and made an appointment for a diagnosis (compression test, leak down test and a few specific checks along the way) and described the problem with the receptionist. This would be the second place I brought it to after Ed Reily Subaru, as it was suggested by a friend. When I picked up the car and asked about the result and what he did (as I am pretty hands on and know my way around engines), he informed me that it ran great other than an old coil pack. When I asked about the smoke he had no idea what I was talking about as the receptionist did not write down the symptoms the car had or my requests. Come to find out, they didn't even have a conversation about my call. He did do a compression test and told me that 135psi and 115psi were within spec of each other and that I was lucky to have a car like this. First of, in spec is 5% at 145psi, so + or - 5 or 10psi is in spec, not 20. A simple google search would have told him this. I pop the hood and ask about the specific parts I had asked him to check and he starts getting short with me and says "its probably fine". Well if you actually did what was requested we wouldn't be having this conversation. This is why I made the appointment, so he could check these things! He then tells me that he drove the car down the road and it was good, no problems, and was very fast. That I should enjoy the car and drive it hard. BIG mistake. I asked for a compression test and a diagnosis, I'm here to find and FIX the problem, not make it worse. NOWHERE in that request do you need to "take it for a drive", let alone boost it up to see how fast it is. I paid for my lack-of-service and left. $350 for a coil pack and terrible service, which is way more than they deserve, but I'm too nice. Went to a company a little further away who actually knows what they're doing (603 performance, big fan), and got a 3rd and final diagnosis. He informed me that the engine was tired from the previous owner. Talked to him and about probable cause being failing piston rings in cylinder 1 and 3, and leaking exhaust valves in 2 and 4. This is the type of intelligent conversation I wanted to have with Village St, but was sadly mistaken.All in all, I will never come to Village Street Garage again for car work as they do not deserve my business. I do not recommend this shop for anything other than a light bulb change. I know plenty other good shops that can do better, quality work for a similar price. Hell, 603 charged me less for the compression and leak down test than they did! Every time I pass the shop it brings back some real good memories :l

Been going to Village Street Garage since they opened 9 years ago. They are always going beyond and above. The rates are reasonable and affordable. Jeff has always made my wife's and my experience always pleasant. Thank you Jeff and Heather.

I've had work done here a few times on 2 different vehicles. I've found Jeff to be honest, upfront and informative. Most recently I brought my 2005 Honda Civic in for timing belt service. While they were at it they adjusted my clutch and cleared the check engine light for no extra charge.It's hard to find a good, trustworthy mechanic. I highly recommend Village Street Garage.

I have an old beater truck that I use mostly for dump runs and picking up stuff. Village St Garage staff has kept vehicle going with duct tape and paper clips at a minimal cost. In all honesty they are good to deal with and I would recommend them.

Great place to bring your car and have fixed and oil changes. Not expensive, reasonable prices. Excellent customer service and like Jeff the owners motto is, it gets fixed right the first time.
