I originally went to this shop in 1992. I was convinced I needed a complete carburetor rebuild. He quoted me what it would cost, $200-300 for the rebuild. He said he would diagnose the problem and let me know. I called back a couple hours later and he told me it was a cracked vacuum container, total repair was under $100. He could have easily just rolled with the $200+ repair, I knew I was dealing with an honest and reliable mechanic. I go back every few years if I have an electrical or fuel related issue. Simply put, very reliable and fast.
