I have been bringing my vehicle here for a few years for inspection. Bob has always been honest. He let's me know any conditions the will need to be addressed in the future. Any work that has had to be done, Bob has always shown me the damaged parts that need to be replaced.He is trustworthy. Only place I will go to.

Bob is absolutely amazing. Took me in last minute for a seized caliper on my 04 honda accord and took real good care of me. Quoted me hundreds less than everyone else AND STILL ended up costing less than his original estimate. Amazing work, amazing man, I will 100% be back. Highly recommended!

Bob has always been honest, fairly priced and easy to work with. He is a great mechanic! We have used Bob now for over 5 years and are very happy with him and his staff. Bob is honest and good at what he does. I have a beater car and he s always honest when I bring it in about what is worth fixing and what isn t. I trust his opinion and I trust that he is not taking advantage of my lack of knowledge.

My parents and grandparents have been going to ABS to see Bob (and his parents before that!) for as long a I can remember. Naturally, there must be a reason! I've tried out a few local mechanics, but always end up back at ABS. Bob and his staff are super attentive and never try to rake you over the coals. I'm looking forward to my inspection next week-I can always count on Bob to be thorough and honest; he even remembers the make and model of my car when I call for an appointment. I recommend everyone to ABS because they're the best!

I've been going to Bob for 10 or 11 years! He's always straight with you and great pricing for all the work I've encountered. Cannot recommend ABS enough!

I have used this shop for brakes and exhaust. The owner Bob is very straight forward and helpful. This is a shop that's honest and charges fair prices. Reliable and trustworthy, he won't try to sell you something that you don't need. This shop cannot do everything but for basic maintenance, brakes, inspection, tune ups, exhaust work etc.... It's definitely worth going to. I'm very picky about who touches my car and they do a good job. Give them a shot you won't be disappointedUpdate april 2018. Got a failed inspection on my girlfriends car at another shop they wanted 1700 to make it right. I said no way. Took it to ABS and as usual bob was great fixed everything and inspection passed too. 950 out the door. Saved huge money. Good work and reliably trustworthy. Excellent shop.

Bob got me in the same day, I m confident that was a fluke, probably best to make an appointment. I had rear breaks done, done in the amount of time he said it would be finished. So reliable, also Bob estimated the cost and said it may cost more if something else was wrong, though he didn t think that was the case.He called right away when he finished the work.I am very happy with the work done, customer service and price!

Every time I ve dealt with Bob I ve been treated fair and he s been 100% honest with us! He was kind and understanding and patient with my teenage daughters too! My son won t use any one else! As long as they can fix it they have my business!

This is hands down the most honest and fairly priced garage I have ever been too! I will recommend ABS on Pleasant street to anyone anytime, doesn't matter what you need done this is the garage you will want to go to. Good and honest people here. 10/10

Bob knows his stuff - He Explained everything that was relevant about my brake problem (spongy feeling) as well as quote amount / time. He was able to schedule me for the next day and all work was completed just as he said. Its been two weeks since the work and everything is great. I would recommend him to my family or friends as a man who does what he says.

Always a great experience. I have a 2001 Honda Civic and the owner Bob keeps it running. Bob is Honest and prices are reasonable. Please support your local independent repair shop.

Had a great experience! Bob was great and I paid much less then going to another mechanic six months ago. They are honest and won't just replace something to replace if it doesn't need to be done. Also very friendly. I'll be going here from here on out for my brake needs!

These guys are great. They have been working on my cars since before they moved to this location, probably 12-15 years. I have also used them for our work vehicles. As other reviewers mention, they are scrupulously honest and straightforward, almost to a fault. My most recent experience was with our 2009 Mini, which showed a code indicating new brake pads were needed. In the end, they found a sensor that had failed, and after replacing it, we are back in business! I love to support a local shop like this, as opposed to the big chains - I can't recommend them enough.

Bob was awesome! I told him that my breaks were squeaking and that the dealer told me I needed the rotors re-surfaced. He took a look, fixed something he thought might be causing the squeaking, and told me he didn't think the rotors needed any work. He saved me over $150!!

Initially I spoke to Bob over the phone. He gave me a Quote for a left Lower ball joint, right Inner tie rod end, and left sway bar link. He gave me a ballpark figure that wasn't so bad, but said he would have to look at it. The estimation was free. After looking everything over he told me ball joints were not something that they do but tried to sell me on everything else with a few other odds and ends.I told him that if he couldn't do all of the things I needed done I would have to go elsewhere. He said my car would be ready for pick up and that the shop was open until 5. I requested that he just leave the keys in my cup holder as I would not be able to make it before that time. Before he got off the phone he repeated "So I should just leave the keys in the cup holder?" I replied "yes, and thank you for your time".The Keys were not in the cup holder ,or in the glove box, or behind the visor, or in the arm rests, or stuck in the seats, on in the carriers on the doors. they were not anywhere.I was without a car for a second day in a row and after walking there to get it with a walk back. Only because this guy couldn't take the time to put my keys somewhere that I could find them. Even after him asking me if that was what I wanted.Do I really what this sort of attention to detail (or lack there of) working on my car?

Bob always does a great job. He is able to communicate all your needs, and allows for the customer to choose options, rather than being forced to do something.

I have gone here several times and each time was a great experience. Bob explains every detail to know exactly what is going on. He is very trustworthy and will only fix what is necessary to get you back on the road safely.

This is the 3rd time we've used these guys. I'm 57 and have worked on vehicles most of my adult life and have dealt with a lot of mechanics. These guys are top notch, always trying to save me money. They take the time to show the work. You'd be hard pressed to find a better garage. Bwell...Micky

Didn't get as far as discussing anything vehicular as he aggressively came out the shop and yelled at some random man as I was taking a call in my car. Didn't feel comfortable approaching him after seeing that so went to another local mechanic
