This was my first Volvo purchase and after visiting multiple dealerships, I am very pleased I ended up at Merrimack. Corey in Sales was incredibly easy to deal with, zero pressure and strong focus on "what questions can I answer to make sure you can make an informed decision", when Corey was not in when I did a follow up visit another sales person, Scott was incredibly helpful to again answer my follow up questions and even double checked that they had looked at all possible rebates I might be qualified for. They were very fair and very transparent on pricing and trade in and truly the easiest and most stress free car purchasing experiences I've ever had. I especially appreciated that much of the information I needed was handled via e-mail and text making it more efficient for me. I would highly recommend them and also expect to do my service here even though its farther than another volvo dealer based on the way I was treated at purchase. Thanks Alex, Corey, and Scott for a great experience.

This is a great dealership to work with, not only from the sales perspective but also; from the service perspective as well!When I bought a used car from them in August 2023, the infamous check engine light came on; which had to do with the catalytic converter. This light literally came on two days after I bought the car.For those that don t know, that s an extremely expensive fix and catalytic converters are such a hot commodity to where those up to nefarious activities; would steal them from people s cars. They re that valuable and this was especially the case in 2021, where The Pandemic shut down supply chains; making catalytic converters even more valuable in that black market.After the dealership did their troubleshooting steps (in which you can t blame them to do and that does work out well for the customer; as this would allow to keep expense costs at an absolute minimum), they told me that they would take care of the catalytic converter, which was great because for starters; you cannot pass an emissions test in New Hampshire with a check engine light on.Now, since I bought a used car with no warranty, in New Hampshire, it s buyer beware . With this being said; they could ve charged me $5000 for a catalytic converter replacement and they could ve said something along the lines that it s my responsibility with buying used cars like this.If you take a look at the picture that I have attached in this review, Merrimack Street did not charge me $5000 for this replacement; which I would ve had to do to keep this car registered (unless if I wanted to use an address that I still maintain in Florida, which is a state where there s no emissions/inspection programs, to register the car in; which I didn t want to do because car insurance premiums in Florida are astronomically high)!In fact it was a lot less than $5000; to where they took care of the cost for catalytic converter replacement at no cost to me!I ve been around cars/owned cars for over 10 years now, where I ve been around many different mechanics, repair shops and service departments at dealerships, between New Hampshire and Florida and they ve treated me a lot better than other car repair businesses!For example, a couple of weeks ago, I saw a screw in my tire; which is something that I ve dealt with at least a few times in my life. This doesn t happen that often in New England but in Florida, where there s a lot of residential construction going on, to where nails are all over the place; this happened to me at least twice annually. And I kid you not that I was told that I would need to get a new tire; because they couldn t patch it. Not at Merrimack Street, where for the first time ever in a situation like this, I didn t have to buy a new tire; because they could patch it!Also, a couple of months ago, my brake booster went on this car and James, who is a Service Advisor with Merrimack Street, went over all options that I had available to replace the brake booster; with pros/cons for each option!Now, onto the sales department: when I bought the car in August, the Sales Representative that I spoke to at the dealership Matthew went above and beyond to find me a car, in my price range, that didn t even hit the market yet (for advertising/marketing at the dealership), as it just went through a process to get it ready for sale and knowing the used car market, this car would ve sold at the price range and given it s attributes; in a matter of a couple of days tops (for your reference: I bought a 2011 Volvo XC90 with 118K miles for $9995)!I highly recommend this dealership and I will go back again for future repairs and for future car buying as well!

Corey Gonyer put together an awesome deal for me on a pre-owned car. There was no nonsense. He gave me a great number for my trade and a more than fair price on the car from the start.From start to finish everything took maybe and hour. I highly recommend stopping in!

My wife and I just purchased a Volvo xc90 at Merrimack Street Volvo. Initially we had not decided on which model to purchase but the assistance and patience of Lou and Alex was outstanding as we changed our choice a few times. We just purchased a used car through Merrimack Street Volvo and had a really great experience. Our salesman, Lou, was incredibly helpful. He listened to everything we were looking for in a used car for our teenage daughter. After hearing what we were looking for he gave us a few options of what would work along with what we wanted to spend. He was able to get us into an AWD, top safety pick with very low milage and even in a color we preferred. He kept the entire process low pressure and low stress. From start to finish we felt very well taken care of. He certainly made lifelong customers out of us!

Merrimack Street Volvo Cars there are many superlatives that could be used to describe the dealership and our recent transaction! When I searched online for an XC40, I found some possibilities at Merrimack Street Volvo. After several phone calls and multiple email exchanges with Alex (yes, Alex the owner), we decided to make the 4-hour trek from Maine to test drive one. It was well worth the time and effort it took. Alex was waiting for us, willingly accompanied us when we test drove a car, and guided us through its features. He was very patient and knowledgeable, spent a very long time with us, and made sure all our questions were answered. There was absolutely no pressure. We made the decision to buy it that afternoon. It was the easiest and smoothest car purchase we ve ever made! We would highly recommend Merrimack Street Volvo Cars.

UPDATE 10/10:I had my car checked by my normal mechanic the following day. My spring seats were replaced less than a year ago when I did the front struts. I figured they were maybe talking about a superficial part. To be honest I was at least expecting something to be broken. Not that someone lied to my face.To have nothing wrong with my vehicle and to be told it was an $800 safety issue that needed to be fixed immediately is so shocking and disappointing I m at a loss for words. What were they even going to do if I paid them lol? Give the car back exactly the same?____It pains me to have to do this, but I was unfortunately given the women treatment when I brought my car here for service.In addition to trying to sell me an $800 plus front spring plate replacement when I came in for a simple oil change, they also switched my 200,000 mile plus car from conventional to full synthetic oil without consulting me. While simultaneously implying my vehicle was unsafe to drive. When I asked why they changed my oil type from what was written on my sticker by my independent Volvo tech, I was informed it is what Volvo recommends, and they do not offer other kinds of oil.I don t often write reviews, but the whole experience was so unsettling and disappointing. I wish I just went to Jiffylube.

Excellent customer service still does exist in this world! If you need to buy a car... you really shouldn't go anywhere else. Long story short.. I was involved in an MVA where a large truck ran a stop sign and t-boned me in my 2018 v60 CC T5. I LOVED MY CAR! I was physically okay because I was in a Volvo so there was no question that I was going to be getting another Volvo. I went to the dealership that I had purchased my first Volvo (that was not Merrimack St. Volvo) and needless to say, they barely acknowledged me. After I purchased my v60, my family was so impressed with their customer service we purchased 3 more vehicles from them in a 2 yr period. Yet, when I returned to them after having been a total loss accident they ignored my need for a replacement vehicle. I was devastated and at a loss because I refused to drive anything but a Volvo because it quite literally saved my life. I searched the internet and read the reviews about Merrimack St. and immediately went there to look at their certified inventory because it looked like they had impeccable customer service. I can't even begin to tell you how much they went above and beyond to help me find my replacement vehicle. I was crying in their lot, having issues with my credit due to a divorce, suffering from back and neck injury from the accident and Alex did literally more than any person should have done to help me. He is an amazing man! You can see how much he truly loves what he does and it makes you feel like family! I feel blessed to have found him and his dealership. My family will be buying all future vehicles from Merrimack Street Volvo and NOWHERE else!! Thank you Alex and everyone at your dealership!

I recently had some discouraging news about the vehicle I was driving, the service dept .tried the best they could to help, but I was resolved to having to look for another vehicle. Then I ran into Lou, he was the most friendly, helpful and sincere salesman I ever met.He put me into a newer car at a very reasonable price that I could afford. It's so nice I still feel I don't deserve it. Thank you to Lou and the service dept. for all the help and guidance. I highly recommend Merrimack St. Volvo, they are real pros.

I really wish I could give Keith in Sales a good review, BUT my 18 y.o. daughter bought a 2009 used car from them this week and the next day she had both the brake fluid light come on AND discovered the AC is not working at all. They had had their service shop look it over before selling but clearly missed or neglected to mention a few issues. I called today and they said on the phone their service department would "take care of the two issues" but I'm pretty sure that means they bill us for any repairs. I will update this review after bringing the vehicle back in. We also paid the asking price for it because they would not negotiate so I feel we are at least owed a vehicle that is in good operating order.UPDATE: Well the car was even in worse condition than I thought. In addition to the AC unit dismantled, this year my daughter has had to pay for new front tie rods, new starter, new flex pipe, new battery, new rear drums and bearings. And maybe the biggest issue of all is the superficial rust, that Merrimack Street Volvo sales assured my 18-year old was nothing of concern, is actually a large hole in the floor of the rear passenger side and according to a trusted mechanic the cars frame and safety is compromised due to rust. Don t trust Merrimack Street Volvo for used cars.

My Optima, Ram 1500 and SL55 AMG have all been brought here and treated with great care. Repairs have always been timely and they've saved me lots of money by truly getting to the route of the issue and fixing it, not just guessing it's x,y,z and hoping that fixes it. I don't really bring my cars elsewhere for service anymore. Great team over there.

After such a great buying experience with Corey, it pains me to write this review. I purchased a 2017 Lincoln MKC from them along with an expensive warranty, believing their assurance that everything would be covered "bumper to bumper" under the warranty they sold me. However, it has now become evident that this dealership's promises were nothing more than a fa�ade.Days after the purchase, the check engine light illuminated, and we returned the car to Merrimack Street Volvo for examination. They casually dismissed the issue, claiming the engine had merely "gotten wet" and assured us it was resolved. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a shallow attempt to cover up the actual problem.I have yet to put 11k miles on this vehicle in the year and half I have owned it. The engine has seized, exposing the head gasket failure which most certainly seems to have been the issue all along. Shockingly, the head gasket was "not covered" under the warranty they so confidently sold me. This revelation completely contradicted their earlier claim of comprehensive coverage.To make matters worse, the dealership's customer service has been abysmal. My attempts to seek help or a refund for the useless warranty have been met with silence for the past 4 days, showing their complete lack of accountability.Merrimack Street Volvo's deceptive practices, false assurances, and refusal to stand by their promises have left me profoundly disappointed. I caution anyone considering buying a car from them to steer clear. The 2017 Lincoln MKC I purchased has turned into a costly and non-functional nightmare, while Merrimack Street Volvo has turned a blind eye to my legitimate concerns and seems to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction.

Brought my 2010 S80 V8 in for a rear differential rebuild. I received a white glove treatment from the team here at Merrimack Street. They worked with my schedule, gathered parts and repaired the car in a timely manner considering the complex job. Great price, great results, and I would not hesitate to drive 50 miles to bring my car for service here in the future. Bryan was my main point of contact and he was very friendly and full of knowledge.Thank you Merrimack Street Volvo!

My husband & I had a terrible experience with another local Volvo dealership and almost gave up on purchasing a Volvo. I m so glad we went over to Merrimack Street Volvo and met Scott! He was amazing, no pressure made the process, so smooth and easy. He even installed my two car seats and cleaned them! Our family is so happy with the XC90! Thank you again Scott!

Corey was amazing to work with. My husband and I have bought many cars over the years and this was by far the easiest and most pleasant experience we have ever had. Corey was knowledgeable, yet respectful about letting us explore the cars. Was attentive and available, but never pushy. When I arrived back to buy the car, the paperwork was all ready, I didn t get shuffled around and I was in and out in an hour!Thank you to Corey and the team at Merrimack Volvo. I absolutely love my new XC90!

My wife's bellowed Volvo C70 stalled at red light. She was able to restart and rewers to a parking spot. She made home with our daughter help and Volvo was left parked on the side. I made to the car around 5:30pm thinking what to do and where to go. I was just 1.2 miles from Merrimack Street Volvo service but I knew it was closed at 5pm. Also Allstate roadside service will take at least few hours. I call Merrimack Street Volvo service hopping too find out where to leave the car. To my surprise my call was answered by Jeannie. I explained what is going on and she offered to wait for me and tow truck so I can drop off the car inside garage instead leaving it on the street. We arrived after 8:00pm and she was there to greet me. What to say but thank you Jeannie and thank you Merrimack Street Volvo.

After I bought my car some issues arose. It s an audi, they break. Instead of telling me to go away, they took my car back, fixed it for free, and gave me a loaner car. Corey got me a great rate on my financing and Ricky was an amazing salesman, got me a great deal on the car, and worked amazingly at getting my car ready for me to pick up. Easily the best customer service I ve EVER seen from a dealership and the friendly people make buying a car very easy. You guys are amazing! Pictured below is said audi. I love this car

We had had a really bad experience with another Volvo dealership and was heading towards hiring an attorney but upon a suggestion from Volvo, we were requested to try another Volvo dealership (Merrimack St. Volvo). This was going to be our 3rd and final attempt. This took some time to resolve but Alex worked with us to not only get full reimbursement of our car but was also able to offer us a a much better deal. This positive over-all experience working with Alex through every single step of the way has turned a horrible Volvo purchasing experience into a very positive one . We love our new Volvo XC-60 and would recommend this dealership for the above mentioned reason(s).

With 100 years of experience and continuous ownership by the same family, Merrimack Street Volvo is one of the best Volvo dealers in the country. It has received numerous awards for outstanding service and sales. I have never had a problem with the numerous Volvo s (and other cars) I have bought over my 50 years of driving experience. The salespeople are very friendly, honest and helpful. I give this business 100% excellent rating.

Couldn't be happier with my experience at Merrimack St Volvo! Alex helped us sort through the options and get just the car we wanted - and went above and beyond to help us save some $ (and get a free trip to Sweden!) with the overseas delivery program. Everyone we dealt with was professional and genuinely caring. Hands down the best car buying experience I could ask for.UPDATE - since purchasing our volvo, the service department has been great as well.

I brought my car in for service and was given a loaner. I fell in love with the loaner. I had never driven a volvo before and must say it is as smooth as butter. I wanted this car. I spoke with the owner Alex and he was one of the most genuine person I have ever encountered. I also overheard him talking to another client and he displayed incredible guest service with her as well. He ended up running numbers for me and I traded in my suv for gorgeous volvo suv. The car doesn't matter as much as the sincere and honest client service I received there. I highly recommend doing business there.

Highly recommend! Our neighbors referred us to Merrimack St Volvo and we were so impressed with the honesty & no pressure discussions about potential vehicles. I was able to get pricing, test drive and borrow multiple vehicles until I was absolutely sure of my decision. Cliff is a gem and fascinating person to work with and Alex is fair, accessible, friendly, hard working and no bs!!! Not only did we purchase my dream car, we then trusted Alex to find first cars for 2 of our children within months of getting my car. Since then, Alex has helped us out numerous times for repairs and service due to multiple mishaps (3 kids, 3 Volvo s) with the utmost service and fair pricing. Everyone that works in Sales and Service has been friendly, professional and thorough. Wish I could give them 10 stars!!!

Once again I had a top notch experience at Merrimack Street. I had an issue Sunday evening and they took me in Tuesday. Alex provided me with a loaner and all went well. I had my car back and running great.The boys in service are great and communication is second to none.I highly recommend Merrimack Street Volvo cars.

Last week we purchased our 3rd car from Alex and Merrimack St Volvo in the past 2 years. Each time has been incredibly easy, seamless, and no pressure. Buying cars used to be a stressful experience, but it is very enjoyable here. This last car was a replacement due to an accident and they went above and beyond finding me exactly what I wanted and fast! We cannot say enough good things about Merrimack St Volvo and will only purchase cars here going forward.

My husband and I purchased an XC90 over the weekend and had an incredible buying experience with Cliff & Alex. They were professional, informative, and so personable. They had an answer for every question, took the time to explain the functions and features of our car, and helped us drive off the lot same day! If I could give 6 stars I would!! If you're looking to buy a Volvo in the Northeast you must visit Merrimack Street Volvo.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experiences at Merrimack Street Volvo in Manchester NH. I have purchased/service 4 vehicles from them in the last 4 years. When I decided to go Volvo I did my homework to find a dealer that I could work with and trust. I believe whole heartily in relationship buying. Finding that dealer that I feel comfortable with and who is not just out for the quick sale / see you later but one who believes in what I believe: treat them well, stand behind my product and I will have a customer for life.After my extensive search, I decided on Merrimack St Volvo. They treat my wife, myself and now my children with the utmost respect, care and personal touch, as if we were their only customer. The owner, Alex Saidel, made it a point to deliver my wife's car and proceeded to spend the next hour reviewing all the features and setting it up exactly to her liking, all while their showroom was teaming with prospective customers. Alex is one of the most honest and decent people that I know. He has helped me out in a pinch, taking a call way past closing time to assist my son with a break down and finding a towing company that was 1/2 the cost of the ones my son had reached out to. Also providing a loaner car without hesitation and at no cost.Their service dept. is top notch. Always greeting you with a smile and always educating you on all your options, not selling you but presenting the most cost effective route. Another reason I will continue to purchase and service all our vehicles there.Summing it all up, there is not a better place in all of New England to purchase and service you Volvo.A customer for life.John Galluzzo
