I called up very last minute for a very technical job on a newer hard to work on vehicle and Dave had the parts that day and kept my company vehicle rolling for the best price out of all the quotes I received from other local business. 10/10 will be back any time I need even the smallest work done to my vehicles.

Found Dave s Tri-City Towing via AAA. The family car was stuck on a soft shoulder. The truck arrived quickly and the driver made us feel less embarrassed about getting stuck. He smartly used the flatbed to lift the front end of the car instead of just winching us out. The car ended up with no damage. Very happy with the service.

These guys came to the rescue when my car wouldn t start after a long workday. Happily, quickly and with a great sense of humor, one of their technicians gave me a much needed tow back home while offering me his knowledge about vehicles, possible diagnoses for the issue, and general wisdom offered to me alongside empathy. I didn t realize at the time how much this would improve my mood actually. The experience of having your car breakdown miles from home, usually what people regard as a worst case scenario, couldn t have been flipped more on its head once Johnny B. Good of Dave s tri-city towing got involved. That s actually his full name by the way guy is a riot. In the end it all worked out well, he dropped me off exactly where I needed, and wished me good luck. Thank you to all those guys out there staying available 24 hrs a day for circumstances such as this. With that said, they could all probably go home and let Johnny take care of things, it s like he s the Satchel Paige of towing! Cheers guys

Called triple AAA cause I needed my car towed since the transmission gave out. Waited an hour for them to even contact me, said they would be there in 15 minutes, then waited another hour. Then I had to call them to find out they cancelled without ever even trying to contact me again. Didn't make an effort to help me at all. If you want to waste a full day away call them for service.

They were quick to show up and clear the car after my wife was in an accident. Sadly they parked the classic car under a tree that was shedding tons of springtime "stuff". The car was covered in a 1/2" of the gunk and it baked on and hardened. They also left the driver's window partially open so the interior was not only wet but also had a ton of tree stuff on the carpet and upholstery. I would have hoped they would have taken better care of the car while it was in their custody.

It s 11pm, you ve had a long day, you re finally en route, 40 minutes away from the place you call home, but wait life has other plans for you, such as two flat tires. The thought of having to call for a tow is the equivalent of the misery you experience at the DMV, the ER, etc. Well tonight, my experience with JOHN, from Dave s Tri-City Towing separated the dreaded tow from everything else.After requesting the tow I don t think 10 minutes had gone by before John pulled up. I honestly did a double take. He had my Land Rover secure, riding piggyback in the blink of an eye. I knew as soon as I saw the Reese s Peanut Butter cups on his dashboard that my ride home wasn t something I needed to dread. He was extremely professional, kind and easy to have a conversation with. I also can t forget to mention that he drove the Rolls Royce of tow trucks. And I think above all else he was far more aware of his surroundings than the average driver; while on 95 he noticed long before we caught up, a semi who s operator had been claiming two lanes for some time. John made a point to put as much distance as possible between the two trucks as we passed. And yes, he checked his mirrors, blind spot and used his blinker!What I anticipated to be a pain, a headache, an inconvenience, a test of my patience, an awkward ride with uncomfortable moments of silence, something I just couldn t wait to be over with ended up being the complete opposite of all the above.So in the unfortunate event that you need a tow, save yourself the time and hassle of figuring out who to call in hopes that you get a guy like John. Just make one phone call; to Dave s Tri-City Towing.Again, huge thank you to John for coming to my rescue and being awesome.Service: Car towing

Brought my car here and was told it was running fine and nothing was wrong. Had issues on my way home. Brought it somewhere else 24 hours later to be told my throttle body was no good. Clearly they need more experience when working on vehicles. Such a waste of money and time to go to these useless people

They are an awful company. Very dishonest people. They stole money right out of our truck. The employees were rude and disrespectful and had awful customer service skills. When we approached others in the town apparently they are known for having items and money going missing from vehicles they take. I highly advise not using this company.Service: Car towing

I was in an accident a few weeks before the one I got into today and broke my back. I am in a full upper body brace and need walker to walk. Which meant I couldn t stand and wait for the rental. The driver Alan was so patient about waiting for my brother to walk and pick up the rental and get back helped me into the car and just all around amazing!! He deserves a raise!!! I broke down yesterday with my grandson and daughter. The hottest day of the season. I was left waiting for a tow from a company whom refused the job with AAA. After waiting an hour after I got a dispatch notice I called AAA back and said no one came. Within 5 mins, Dave s Tri City towing called to confirm and they were at my car. 15-20 mins earlier than expected. The driver was so kind and sympathetic. With a smile on his face. Told me he was all set and to try to have a better day. My car was at the mechanic when I got back to town. THANK YOU! So much. Your kindness made a horrible day a bit easier. Went off the road the other night in the snow storm. Johnny from tricity came to my aid within 15 minutes. Pulled me out of a ditch and made sure me and my whole crew were good to go home. Made me feel like family 10/10 may do it again

State Inspection, Front Tires, Alignment, Oil ChangeI've been having you service my auto since 2014 when returning to Rochester. I have always been most happy with the services you have provided me. As a result, I have great trust in whatever you recommend and you have always been above reproach. Trustworthy is the word. One day, I remember driving into your station with a flat tire ,...no problem....it was taken care of immediately and I was able to drive off within the hour. Whenever I had a problem or question all I had to do was drive into your station and it was answered. Again a most heartfelt "Thank you".Doris

They sent my car off to the auction house without my release or consent. Mike said he assumed it was ok. USAA Ins. says Tri-city Towing has to call me for its release. Tri-city never did. Mike never apologized.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

My first visit, a fuel leak. I expected a huge bill for the work to repair a vehicle that has 180,00 miles. I was very concerned that the repair cost would exceed the value of the vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised by a small cost repair.Second visit, my truck needed an inspection and oil change. Dropped it off 9 am , received a call 9:30 am " Your all set ! "Fantastic Service, and very affordable !

Great towing service, the technician (john good) arrived earlier than expected and was very polite and got me out of a nightmare of a situation. Definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a tow service.

I had a flat tire on my boat trailer last night and one of the drivers stopped to help out and used the lights on his truck to keep me more visible to other drivers and therefore safe. I explained that I did not need any help and did not have any cash and the driver said that was not a problem, he just wanted to make sure I was safe and was not looking to get paid. He then helped me with the spare installation anyway. Nice guy!

Dave's is the only garage I take my car to. They're quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. They have always treated me and my car well. I don't trust many people enough to let them touch my vehicle, but I trust Dave and his crew.

I do not write reviews often, however I felt everyone should know what a great garage and towing service we have right in Rochester! Friendly, respectful staff, check. Competitive rates, Check. Timely service, Check. If you want dependable repairs with accurate, never over inflated prices, you will find it at Tri-City Towing. There towing service is always on time and the drivers are great! Will go nowhere else for all of my family's cars.

I highly endorse these guys!!!! They not only fixed my problem but with in my budget. They fixed what NTB missed and got me back very quickly. They where the nicest guys I have worked with and knew what they where doing. We will be back again. I would come back over and over as they really treat you like family here!

My son went off the road Friday on his way home from school. He called AAA for a tow truck. Tri-City towing came to pull him out. My son hit the drivers side of his car on the curbing and there was no damage to his car. (would've been able to drive it home) The driver hooked the trailing arm on the back passenger wheel to pull him out. Bent the trailing arm and the tire was bent so he couldn't drive it. Told my son he had to sign a waiver so he wasn't responsible for damage to his car AFTER HE DAMAGED HIS CAR!!! He just cost my 17 year old son just under $300 to have it fixed because of his negligence. We are filing a complaint with AAA on them and I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Nothing like taking advantage of someone. What happened to morals and honesty??? Customers beware!

I called Dave's this morning because my starter failed in the Marshall's parking lot. They were incredibly rude on the phone. I had one of the worst days of my life yesterday, I was stranded, my phone was stolen, and I was functioning on 2 hours of sleep when I called Dave's this morning. The condescending tone of who I spoke to this morning is what broke me down though. I'm giving two stars because they towed my car to the mechanic, which is the bare minimum of their job.

I was towed while I parked illegally. My bad as I didn't see the sign.When I walked across the street from where I was towed to the office, I was told $175.00 to get my vehicle back!When I complained that the charge was ridiculously high, I was threatened if I didn't keep my mouth shut, my vehicle would not be released.These people need a mask and gun because all they do is drive through a private parking lot towing cars for $175.00 CASH!When I complained about this practice, I was told by both men: "this is how we feed our families". What a poor existence if stealing is the way to feed your families!They love when the Rochester Opera House has events so they can line their pockets with CASH. Incidentally, I only had $171.00 which the 2 tow drivers debated for a minute before accepting.I have been a patron of the Opera House for 19 years as well as local Rochester businesses; I am done.

Brought my car in because I had a nail in the tire. Very rude people and all they did was pull the nail out. They never plugged the hole and they never even took the tire off to check anything else. And to top it off, they took my cap that goes on the nozzle of the tire. These guys are grade-A trash. Go elsewhere.

Are vehicle got towed they told us we could not get it that day and it was one thing after another with them not to mention r keys to our storage was in there r house are office nd got the truck back and they don't know we're the keys r and the cops have no idea we're the keys r so thank you for not respecting our things while it was in your position.
