Bought my first boat from Ward s a couple weeks ago. What a great experience! Rick my salesman was absolutely awesome! I couldn t have asked for anyone better to help me get through the process. We had a couple small problems with the boat that they took care of very quickly. Everyone was very kind and welcoming to my entire family and answered all of our questions. When the time comes for the next boat of service we will definitely be back! Thank you Ward s for helping us make awesome summer time memories!!!

I purchased my first boat from Wards Boat Shop in the summer of 1999, my second in 2005, and my third this week. The owners and the employees there really make me feel like I am part of the family. I purchased my Bennington at the end of the 2005 season for delivery Spring of 2006. I got what I thought was a very fair trade-in for my original boat which my teenage kids and all of their friends beat on for 7 seasons. I had the Benington for 14 seasons and it was winterized and serviced by Wards every year without a single real problem. There was one time that it had a battery problem shortly after delivery and the service department sent someone to my house to check it at no charge. This time I got a South Bay with a 150 HP Mercury engine. I selected a 2019 leftover and I left with the feeling that I got both a fair price and a fair trade-in. Here is where it goes above and beyond the service level of other shops... The delivery of my old Bennington was scheduled for Friday the 29th of May. The afternoon of Tuesday May 26th I decided to buy the new boat. On Wednesday some of the service team came in early and prepared my new boat. Nick, the General manager, called me around noon on Wednesday because he had one of his delivery team staying in late to make sure I got my boat for a Sunset cruise. Many thanks to LuAnn, Barry, Nick, Richard, Terry, Kevin, and the entire service team. Oh and BTW also thanks to Victoria who was cleaning the Bennington and showed me exactly what product to purchase to keep the new boat looking new.

Ward's really came through for us! We were dead in the water on a Friday afternoon in June, and called 6 places who told us they could not look at the boat for at least 4 weeks. Ward's told us to bring it down and they'd have a look. They said it would be about a week out, so imagine my surprise when they called me 24 hours later - on a Saturday - and said it was all set and running great! Thank you so much Jay - the tech, and Amy for calling me, and Meghan for doing the write up/ intake - you were all super fantastic! Can't recommend them enough.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! IT'S NOT ABOUT THE CUSTOMER!Went to Ward's Boat shop in Ossipee, New Hampshire to buy a boat. Mark my salesman (Great Guy)! Went back and fourth on price and left over $500.00. Next day gave in and did my credit application over the phone. Had a boat deal all ready to go. Insurance binder, financing, and delivery. Mark my salesman last minute called me and said... "They would not let the driver bring the paperwork for me to sign" They wanted me to go back to the store. I have bought new trucks,cars and mortgage's and have signed on the hood of my new truck! I told Mark to send the paperwork with the driver and I will sign it when they deliver the boat! He asked Barry the owner if they could let the driver just bring it with him and Barry said no! I told Mark if you can't do that then keep the boat! $21,500.00 deal gone south? What customer service! They couldn't send the office manager up with the paperwork? The owner is a bad business man! As a business owner, I would have driven to Boston to sell a boat with 3 weeks left of summer! Even if it was the beginning of summer! He just lost all of my business and everyone and anyone I know! And I know a lot of people on Ossipee lake! He messed with the wrong guy! He owes me an apology for ruining my family's excitement!

We ordered a boat in late November and launched it this week. There were delays on the factory end due to the pandemic, but the people at Wards were fantastic. Nick was especially helpful in discussing the details of every possible option and accessory, but also kept us from going "overboard". He is lightning fast at responding to questions or concerns and always kept us updated on the progress of the order. When the boat arrived, they made sure it was ready to launch as soon as were were. We got a great introductory lesson on our lake that lasted as long as we needed to feel comfortable.The store at Wards has great prices and a huge inventory of "toys". We are planning to have them maintain and store the boat for the winter too. (Our neighbors have had great experiences with their maintenance and storage for years - another reason we went with Wards).Our new South Bay is gorgeous and super high tech. The composite deck was the biggest selling feature for us over the other brands, but we also fell in love with the sporty look of the 2021 models. Highly recommend Wards Boat Shop and South Bay Pontoons.

I bought a Harris pontoon boat from Wards last week. I dealt with rick the salesman about my situation and he showed me a boat that came in on consignment. The boat was exactly what I was looking for looking for i felt luck was going my way . Rick was more than knowledgeable about that particular boat and the motor a Honda, we hopped up on the boat and he showed me everything I needed to see . He mentioned They needed to detail it and that it could be ready whenever I want it. I said let's talk price, that's when I got a surprise I wasn't expecting, it was Thousands cheaper than the thieves on craigslist and Facebook marketplace were asking all day long . I went back to see the boat detailed , it looked great! We closed the deal, kevin from Wards gave me a great test drive on the lake to make sure everything worked and was in satisfactory condition and it was , I Learned a lot from Kevin and that alone is worth the trip to Wards !! Plus they register it for you right there!A great seamless experience I was on the water for the weekend . Thank you Rick, kevin , Victoria, for a great experience!Don't get ripped on craigslist or Facebook marketplace GO TO WARDS it's worth the trip!

I purchased a Crest Tritoon from Wards this year. The staff was great and made the buying experience an easy and pleasant one. The only knock on the whole process was the negotiation of my trade-in. I ended up selling it on my own so it all worked out. Will most likely buy again from Wards when its time to upgrade.

I ordered a boat back in December, due to all the industry delays it took until July to get it. My wife has ALS so it was important that we get on the water to make sure she got to see the lake this season. The staff at Wards did everything they could to take care of it, at every step they worked to expedite the build and the shipment. The delays weren t their fault but they really took care of the issues. They are great to work with, it s my first boat and they were patient to answer all my questions and get me on the water quickly. I absolutely love my boat and I m really happy I went to Wards!,

Great experience. Needed an electric pontoon due to my lake's restrictions. They were able to help me get the boat just right for me. Rick and the team always kept me updated and made the process super smooth. Loving the boat!!

After 2 seasons of using them I'm beyond frustrated and annoyed. The first year we spent $5000 on redoing our seats, when we got the boat back our trailer lights were broken and our middle windshield was pinched under the other windshield and it was discussingly dirty. So we couldn't use the boat the day we got it back. This year our ladder on the back had a holder that held the ladder up that was drilled into the boat is gone and there is a hole in our boat we're it should be.(they put the ladder on for us last year too)Obviously I was very upset, the driver was extremely rude and accused us of taking the cover off there first like we knew something, yeah I know you put my boat cover on wrong to hide their mistake. Use any other marina if you want your boat back the way you left it, wards is so not worth their crazy rates. If you ask me

I use this place for boat supplies most of time when I m at the lake, because it s convenient, but I stopped storing my boat there over the winter, because I had some service issues. One year, the battery was totally frozen and they didn t bother checking it before delivery, so I was left floating with a dead boat after they dropped it into the lake. Also, Unless you pay more for rack storage your boats is just left in a dusty parking lot so it comes back caked with dust and grime.Not a ton of materials in the store, as it s primarily a sales office, and they are a little pricey.Friendly and knowledgeable staff...I think it s a family business, but I might have that wrong.

So far so good! We looked around for just the right boat and found it at Wards this past spring. Barry was very helpful and very professional. Every time I have had a question it gets answered. We had a couple small problems over the summer with the new boat and he assured me that they would take care of them when I pull the boat out of the water. He did offer to come out but the problems were small enough that we didn't need him to do that. His wife was quick to get the financing and paperwork done up and we couldn't be happier with the boat and the relationship we have with this family owned shop. In addition, I wouldn't normally go on about someone else post or experience but in this case I feel it is necessary. I can tell you that as a man in the sales business it is not a typical practice to give a delivery guy (who may just be a yard guy/mechanic) the bank paperwork to have it signed. If a signature is missed and the customer has the certificate of origin and paperwork saying paid in full the boat is his, or at least in his possession, regardless of fully complete paperwork. Once the customer has taken possession of the boat he typically is not motivated to get back to the dealer to sign a missed document. Meanwhile the dealer can't get paid due to said missing document. In addition, if you truly think that a dealer should send their finance people to you for signatures you are crazy. This gets done via electronic signature or in person at the bank or dealership. Discussed pricing of a 12' seasprite with two representatives before the owner wrote up the paperwork. Both reps told me the 2019 model was $2100 and the 2020 was $2133. When I sat down to do my paperwork, the owner took over and told me the 2019 was $2100 and identical to the 2020 but the new model was, "a couple hundred more and I should go with the 2019". Not sure if he was trying to take advantage of a younger customer or just wanted to get the 2019 off the lot. Either way, poor business practices.

Can't say enough great things about Wards Boat Shop! Bought a used pontoon boat from them in November. Just put it in the water (5/4/19) and had an issue with starting. Spoke with Carol in the service dept and tried to help with the issue over the phone. Tried to get someone there that afternoon but couldn't. They sent a tech out a few days later (Matt drove 30 miles and 45 min) and discovered the issue. A simple fix and mostly due to operator (me) error. Rick, Barry, Carol, and Matt are true professionals who care about their customers. Highly recommend them and now they have a customer for life. I also have a 15hp Merc outboard that needs some TLC. You can guess where I'm bringing it.

Always have loved going there to check out their beautiful, and high quality boats. Today my husband and I bought a new pontoon boat and we are so excited! Very knowledgeable and helpful employees and a large selection. They will store it for the winter also.

Fantastic operation. I bought a wakeboard and tube from them in July and by stoke of bad luck, both broke. To compound the problem, I lost my receipt! The folks at Wards helped me to fix both issues regardless. Fantastic people who really understand customer service. I highly recommend

This place is run by the Three Stooges. Drover over 750 miles to purchase a new Campion boat. Boat was not as described, covers were dirty and the top deck gelcoat was weathered.Drove 1500 miles in less than 2 days for nothing. Cost me over $300 in gas, hotel and food expenses.Avoid this place like the COVID.

Order a water intake cover, week later still not in. Service rep said it would be in that day, but never call back. I waited another week and still no call. When I called back, 2 weeks after I order, rep said they could not get the part for me. Horrible service
