My son's truck had some very unique lugs on it, and we tried multiple times to get them off at multiple place - one place held the truck for six hours, only to say there was nothing they could do. Carson City Tire took us in at the end of my son's work day at 4pm, diagnosed it, and was done less than two hours later! And they charged a very fair price! We were overwhelmed at their willingness to help, and delighted with the results!

This is where we get our tires, and where we get the summer tires swapped for the snows. They even store the tires we're not using - very convenient!They are friendly and professional, and take good care of the tires - never damage the bead (where the tires meet the rim).The waiting room is small but clean and comfortable, and in good weather you can sit in their comfy patio chairs.Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about this place. This was my first time going there and they've created a lifelong customer. They took the time out of their day to send me a letter in the mail with a rebate form and a handwritten invoice for me to submit to make sure I didn't miss out on the savings. It's so rare to find a business that goes above and beyond like that anymore. I used to buy my tires from an online retailer thinking I was saving money but the prices here were amazing. I got all new brakes and rotors and a new set of tires and the work was perfect. I was planning on having to do an alignment but they told me it wasn't needed so they didn't charge me for it. They were even nice enough to give me a loaner vehicle since my car had to be with them all day for the amount of work that needed to be done. Don't look at any other places these guys are the best!

Cannot recommend them enough! This is the third time my tires have needed to be replaced within a year. I just bought brand new tires in February and they were already worn again now in May. I went back to the place I bought them and they told me the warranty doesn t apply to the wear on the tires as it s not from a roadside hazard. They suggested new tires (again) and maybe an alignment which they had already done in February. I was so angry and fed up. I didn t want to give them my business anymore. I asked around for recommendations for a tire shop and nearly everyone recommended Carson city. I brought it in to have the rear tires replaced and they took the time to see what the deeper problem was that was causing the tires to keep wearing so quickly. They replaced my back two tires quickly and gave me a call with what they had found. They were able to diagnose the problem and suggested I don t drive it for safety reasons. They allowed me to leave the car and have it towed to the dealership for further repairs so I didn t have to sit around and wait which was super convenient as I have a three month old. I cannot recommend them enough. I won t bring my business elsewhere. They were honest, efficient and thorough! 10/10

Absolutely outstanding service, and extremely honest!I just had the pleasure of doing business with these guys because of a bad shake in the body of a 2003 Lincoln town car.I had them do a road force balancing on all four rims and tires. Three of them went well and unfortunately they found a broken belt on the fourth tire.They were nice enough to not even charge me for road force balancing the fourth wheel and tire. They said it would not be worth it since the tire itself needs to be replaced. Keep in mind they did not charge me for the fourth tire. Even after I informed them, I would not be purchasing a new one.!They were extremely, timely, polite, professional, and most importantly, honest! It is extremely hard to find this level of service, and I think that their 4.9 star review average of speaks to the fact!I will be taking every car here from now on that needs a balancing, alignment, or other work performed.

Nice shop, they were more than accommodating. My car is a little bit more of a pain and requires a little bit more white glove treatment which they provided I have underglow, so the lift points have to be in a certain area, and my Lugnuts are special which need to be taken off and put on by hand. They did all of that. A road force balance, my tires, and what a difference I no longer shake at higher speeds. I ll definitely be back in the future.

They were very responsive and had my custom tires in just a few days. The shop was immaculate and modern. Both service technicians were polite and very knowledgeable. The tire change and alignment took less then an hour! Highly recommend this place!

Carson City was able to source hard to find Nokian tires and they installed them for me. Later in the year I made an appointment to have the tires changed over to my summer tires. I called to notify that I was running 15 minutes behind but am on my way. The lady on the phone cut me off and said, No, we need to reschedule. Based off all the other reviews, there were multiple instances where Carson City accommodated their customers at unscheduled last minute requests. I understand timeliness is important in life, however unforeseen circumstances do arrive. I would expect a 15 minute delay would be workable based off of the numerous reviews pointing to this. Given the situation, I would have hoped Carson would have tried to accommodate sooner than a week and a half for the next scheduled availability.

I made an appointment that I thought was for today, my mistake- it s scheduled next week! I was scared to drive my car with a leak in a tire and even though it s one of their busiest days with a completely packed schedule, they helped out with that tire to get me to my appointment next week. Can t give enough appreciation!! The woman at front desk was incredibly kind and friendly, as well as the other staff which is wonderful to see in this day and age. Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs tire service!

Nice little shop, nice people. I had purchased a set of new Michelins online and had them mounted at another shop. Was left with a substantial vibration on the highway afterwards. Had the same shop rebalance them, yet the vibration remained.Looked online for road force balancing nearby and found Carson CityTire. They discovered that the tires themselves were actually defective, out of round. They were, however able to match mount them to the wheels and get them within the road force tolerance. Took it for a spin on the highway and absolutely zero vibration! Being that the tires are technically defective and still nearly brand new, I could have filed a warranty claim and gotten a replacement set, but it's not even worth the hassle since Carson City was able to resolve the issue. Couldn't be more satisfied, nice work!

Not all heroes wear capes. This morning I woke up to the tire sensor reporting that the back driver side tire was low. I could visually see that it was very low. I had to get my husband to a doctors appointment. I stopped by Carson city tire to see if they could give me some air. Carson city immediately agree to do so And just as quickly found that there had been a nail in my tire. Brad Kelly himself had the whole thing fixed for me within 15 minutes FLAT! shockingly we made it to the doctors appointment on time. The doctors office was stunned! I called to let them know I had a flat.THANK YOU CARSON CITY TIRE AND BRAD KELLY!

I live close by and have been a long time customer here. Their service is responsive, courteous, professional and capable. I recently broke down and bought some high end steel belted radial Michelin tires, and have been amazed at the enhanced handling and MPG with those tires. My aging 2003 Corolla has a new life! Definitely worth it, and these type of tires are part of the wheelhouse of tires available at Carson City. A fine provider of first rate services and products.

Another excellent experience at Carson City Tire getting a new set of sneakers for my son's car this week. As always, they take the time to mount and balance them to perfection, and treat each tire as if it were going on their own vehicle. It's been probably over 25 years I've been going there, and will continue to be the only place I'll go for tires in the future!

Was in the area visiting from out of town and found a large screw in my tire. Carson City was recommended by a local resident as "the place to go." With no hesitation, they said bring it in. Not only was the service prompt, it was very thorough and everyone encountered at the shop was friendly and professional. First class customer service across board.

The crew at Carson City really know their stuff. Great quality work by knowledgeable staff, who take the time to explain options and make suggestions. We got tired of dealing with some other larger chain stores for our tire needs. Those other places have high turnover of employees, and we had to go back time and again to get things fixed that weren't done properly. Carson City does things right the first time!

We always buy, rotate and winter/summer change our tires here. Now have online scheduling. I went to another place for winter/summer changeover and they screwed up the tire pressure and didn't balance them...high vibration. Carson fixed it

This place is wonderful, I would highly recommend. I was about to move out of town and in a pinch to get my tires checked out. They fit my into their busy schedule and even stayed late to fix another issue that came up. Their pricing is fair and hey honor their quotes. They are very nice, professional, flexible and accommodating! I can t say enough great things about my experience with them!

Best shop around. Great customer service, trustworthy and all around nice. I trust the crew there with my cars. Recently bummed when I was out of town and got a flat and had to replace all 4 tires. Burned me I had to give some else the business but I was 200 miles away and could not get home otherwise. Been a customer for over a decade.

Have been going to Carson City Tire for 20+ years. Always professional and exceptionally friendly and courteous. Competitively priced, too. I would much rather give my business to a local retailer instead of some impersonal chain.

Tried this local biz for a tire issue. A colleague referred me to them I was pleased with the prompt service from initial call to completion.. Far superior to the numerous franchises in the area as they did not push a new tire on me! They simply fixed the issue in a half hour. I will return!!

Excellent place for buying and installing tires/wheels. If you really do your homework, you will find they are quite competitive with any on-line or large tire shop. Even more so, these guys have been doing tires, brakes, suspension and alignments for years. I trust this shop when it comes to properly (and carefully) mounting tires on expensive wheels. They are unbeatable with their road force balancing! Can't get that from the big stores, or on-line.

We have been bringing our vehicles here for more than twenty years. The staff is unfailingly courteous, friendly, takes the time to explain what is needed and why it is needed, and provides recommendations with options depending on how much we might be able to spend. We'll often be asked by mechanics if we want to buy tires from them, but we find coming back here year after year to be the best bet.
