Boarded the Dixie II for a 2 hour cruise to Emerald Isle. Loved it. Scenery is beautiful. History of Lake Tahoe was interesting. Drinks and Lunch good. Customer Service outstanding.

Ahoy, all aboard the 'Steam Engine Chic' boat! The bathrooms are so clean, you could eat off the floors but please don't. It's a Zen-like 2-hour round trip with nary a rock or roll, making it seasickness-proof. Brr, it's chilly in November, but never fear the cafe is here, serving up warmth in the form of food, coffee, and the good ol' hard stuff. The shuttle? Faster than a speeding bullet. Boarding? Quicker than a hiccup. The entrance photo is a nice touch, but at 45 bucks, it's like they snapped it with a golden camera. If you're looking for a laid-back jaunt, this is your ticket. Just don't expect an intergalactic adventure. Kids will love it, but for adults, a Benjamin per head feels a tad steep especially when it doesn't even include a downloadable memory! Missed opportunity for some snazzy marketing, if you ask me.

This is probably the best beach in South Lake Tahoe, you only have to pay $12 for parking! The sand is a little softer compared to other beaches.The only downside was all the geese that bothered us in the morning hours!

Beautiful place for water activities and sunset views. This place has a large beach as well. They have posted a charge of $12 for parking to access the facilities.

We did the sunset dinner cruise from zephyr cover to emerald bay. It was beautiful! Dinner was fabulous. I had the ribeye. Staff was very efficient and accommodating. After dinner we sat on deck 2 and took in the views. They did a good job of narrating where we were but not too much that we couldn t enjoy the fresh air. After sunset we spent time dancing to the live band. They had a piano man and drummer. They were great, all covers of popular classic songs. Sweet Caroline, friends in low places, you look beautiful tonight. We went from 6-9pm they even had a nice shuttle from out hotel in South Lake Tahoe. Very nice night!

Zypher Cove has a lovely beach, water activities (in case you get bored with the spectacular Lake Tahoe skiing).As you head to the marina, if you turn left you will have a short, beautiful, walk before you run out of beach. If you turn right, you can walk along the beach for quite some distance - next to the beach or on a trail close by.All along you'll see emerald blue water and incredible snow capped mountains. #priceless

Been there 20 years ago and finally returned to everything that I anticipated. Breathtaking views. Spectacular scenery. Fresh smells for hours. Highly recommend visiting here and staying awhile.

$35 to park. We were trying to take the kids to the arcade but it smelled like a sewer. We went to the restaurant instead and after they seated our family of 7 we left because the host was just so rude.

We had an opportunity to ride the paddle boat to Emerald Bay and back. We had picnic along the beach. This a great place for boat & paddle board rental. Beach & surroundings are simply beautiful.

Came here to spend the evening . It was super cold and breezy. But amazingly beautiful. We were here for sunset and loved the views..we will try to come here during summer.

An enjoyable time but certainly not the most pristine beach in Tahoe. Save yourself the hassle and avoid extraordinarily packed parking lots and unsafe street parking and find a beach elsewhere. The sand, also, isn t the softest in Tahoe.

It was my first visit to this beautiful beach. It was not crowded as it was Friday eve. We enjoyed our time in this beach saw the sunset enjoyed our time.

Amazing beach! Love going here, but I wish they had more parking. There's a cute restuarant right next to the beach with delicious food at great prices! Pics are from 4th of July, it's not usually that packed lol

Dogs are welcome at some part but this is a great location. Nice sandy area, has a grass part to dry off.

Zephyr Cove , this is on a Sunday pretty low key and quite . Very relaxing , nice weather, Saturday is alot more people, music parties etc . Beautiful place to come during the summer ...

My favorite place at lake tahoe. Only $15 to park and it was well worth it. The water is lovely with a nice beach area and great views.

Rented a boat here for half day. Spectacular. Tons of fun. Tom was great to deal with. Drive to Emerald cove and rest of lake. Stop and swim. Highly recommended.

My son and I went out on the lake in mid August on two wave runners. We were out for almost 30 minutes when the weather turned dangerous and we had to come back in immediately. The manager running the operation was phenomenal and gave us a full refund without any hesitation. The wave runners were in top condition. Highly recommend renting from them.

I go to South Lake from Reno at least once a month.I can't help but stop there every time.
