They met us in the parking lot when we took a nail in the travel trailer, fixed the hole right away. So grateful for the help on our cross-country trip, getting us right back on the road. Excellent service! 10 out of 10, hands down!

We were on our way home to California from Idaho after dropping our daughter off at College. We stopped to get gas at a station in the middle of nowhere and noticed our tire was going flat, since the station had no air we had to buy a can of Fix A Flat. The temporary fix got us to Winnemucca, 70 miles away! We found a Les Schwab Tire Store and arrived at 4:11pm, by 4:25pm they had the tire fixed. It had a piece of Sheet Metal in the tire. I think Calvin was the name of the guy who fixed our tire, he was fast, kind and didn t even charge us and sent us on our way. The tire wasn t even a Les Schwab tire it was on my new vehicle that only had 20k miles on it. He saw that we were in the system because we always buy our tires at Les Schwab in CA. They were awesome and we truly appreciate their help. Thank you for the great service!

Stuck in Winnemucca, NV. As we were leaving this morning, we had a tire blow on our trailer with ATVs 10 miles outside of town.The people here were awesome in helping us out. Les Schwab came out to us to replace the trailer tire, but the really, the axle was rusted out. We went and bought a whole new trailer, and the guys at Les Schwab helped us load them on the new one and got rid of the old one for us. Above and Beyond. Thanks!!

Great service! We were on our way from Idaho to California for Thanksgiving and noted wobbling while driving. We pulled in and were helped right away. They balanced our tires and were out the door in less than 45 minutes. Thanks Les Schwab!

Very nice and clean shop. Decent sized parking lot, easy to get in and out of. Staff is easy to work with. Had my tire repaired very fast.

Looking through these reviews, it s very apparent that this shop will vehemently lie, cheat and steal.After finding out they were unreasonable about replacing a tire for me because of their policy of only changing four tires on an all wheel drive vehicle, and telling them they were being unreasonable the manager then began to threaten violence.As far as what s in the owners manual, the owners manual of my car does not say anything about needing to replace all four tires, I waited 10 minutes for 2 different people on staff to find any information about it and they could not.Avoid this place at all costs, and go to the Walmart down the street!

Very nice tires. There was a little concern, however, the manager Corey handled it amiably and very professionally. If you run into any trouble at this location, I advise speaking to Corey as he is concerned with quality control and appropriate customer service

Very friendly staff. However they told me they had my tire in stock and took my car back to replace it only to come out 5 minutes later and tell me they don't have my tire in stock. So not sure where the tire went inbetween the 5 minutes.

Went to this Les Schwab while visiting the area to have my tires checked and rotated. They got me in very quickly and did a thorough job of checking my tires because I mentioned that a dash light had come on about one of the tires while I was driving. The service was friendly and they also have free Wi-Fi. What more could anyone want from a car repair place?

We live in Oregon and we ve only ever used Les Schwab for all of our tires, snow chains/socks, alignments, brakes, etc. We have two cars, a van and a truck in our family and over the last 10-15 years have spent somewhere between $7000-$10,000 at our local Les Schwab. We ve always received top notch customer service and that is one of the main reasons we've continued to use this company even though friends and family have told us about less expensive options. Our daughter & her husband just took a trip to Nevada and, on the way there, one of their tire chains broke. This was the first time these chains had been used since they were purchased in 2015. We ve never had a problem returning or exchanging the many sets of chains we ve purchased over the years, if they wouldn t fit a new vehicle that had been purchased or if we had a problem with them the first time they were used, no matter how long that had been. So when we recommended that they stop at this Les Schwab, before heading back over the pass, we never imagined they d have trouble exchanging this set that broke on first use. Winnemucca Les Schwab refused and they were treated rudely by the man that assisted them. When I called and spoke with a young lady there, she was polite but stated they couldn t exchange them because of the date of purchase. We are very disappointed to see that Les Schwab is not the same at every location. Consistency and outstanding customer service is of great importance to us. So, we may be taking our friends and families recommendations of a less expensive option in the future. And we certainly will make sure we do not have to use the Les Schwab in Winnemucca, NV., now that we ve given them $145 for a set of snow chains.

As soon as we pulled in they came out and started on replacing tire with spare. Was in and out very fast. We were able to get further into both deliveries.

We were on our way to Vegas when our car started making terrible noise. We pulled over and discovered that the skid plate had came loose and was dragging the ground. We were about 30 miles north of Winnemucca and had no tools. So we limped it into town and went to a local mechanic which was no help. So we then went to Les Schwab ,which is a tire store and not really a mechanic, but they came running and said no problem we can help. They directed us inside and told us there is free coffee and popcorn. We were inside for about 5 minutes when one of the workers came in and said, ok you are all set. I asked how much do I owe, and they smiled and said no charge. They even thanked us for stopping by.I would like to thank you all at Les Schwab for not only helping, but for saving our trip!

BEST LES SCHWAB in the area!! Friendly customer service, fast, efficient, & always a pleasure to deal with. Worth the money spent here.Highly recommend will use again.

I bought tires from Les Schwab knowing that I would have a warranty. I thought I would be covered if my tires wore out before the warranty. I had troubles with one tire despite doing all of my oil changes and all my tire rotations on time and at Les Schwab I did not get my warranty. At first they said it was because I drove it in flat. I drove it in nearly flat and I have ride flat rims and it was just from a few blocks so I thought I would be okay. I mentioned that and I mentioned that I had a warranty. Then they said I didn't get the warranty because they didn't have the same Tire. I felt very taken advantage of because if I can't get a warranty because they're not going to always carry the same Tire why should I get my tires from you and all my oil changes from you and all of my tire rotations from you and not get my warranty? Paying $267 for one tire was outrageous for my little Malibu. Another guy came and helped me and said that he could give me a trade in for my old tire and gave me a few dollars off.

A great place! I was nearly in tears after driving over a nail in my brand new car on my way to Boise. They were able to fix my tire and didn't charge me a cent. So grateful they were able to help me get home for Christmas!

If I could do zero stars I would. I needed one tire replaced on my trailer and the guy demanded I change 3 tires acting like he s DOT. He threatened to call DOT on me if I didn t replace the tires and he insisted that I buy all 3 from him. He wouldn t even give me pricing. I ve been in the industry 15 years driving semi s, I know when I need replacements. This kid thinks he can threaten to upsell me, to change 3 tires or call DOT so that he can make sales. I m taking my business elsewhere, I m a regular in the area and this used to be my go to spot for tires. I m reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. What a sneaky threatening way to make a sale!

They need to work on their customer service. And the employees shouldn t try and steal the center caps, and lie why when I asked about them. They also didn t cover their warranty, even though I handed them the paperwork for the tires,Being the miles has another 12,000 miles.If zero start we re available, I would have chose that option.

Five stars! We were driving through and hit something, and just luckily we were only a few miles from town. We called and even as they were about to close, they stayed open for us so we could come get our tire replaced and continue on our road trip. They also helped us talk through the risks as we were driving in to make sure we shouldn t call a tow truck. The whole team was super nice, a lot more affordable than expected, and extremely quick. Feeling super lucky that we got to get service from such a great crew!

We were rolling through town only to discover our trailer had blown a tire out, needing repair ASAP. We called this shop and they got us in with 10 minutes to spare before closing. They were incredibly helpful and professional. They took care of swapping out 4 tires efficiently and swiftly. We were back on the road and on our way. These guys saved our day! We are so grateful to have found this shop and service. Huge accolades to them!

Hate to say my experience here was completely opposite of what they advertise to the public. Was traveling from Sacramento to Salt Lake City with a single axle trailer when we had a blow out about 45 min from Winnemucca. Once the spare was on, I was worried I may have another blow out and would be left stranded by the side of the road. I called the Les Schwab in Winnemucca and explained my dilemma. They had the tire that was needed, but they were closing in 30 min and I was 45 minutes out. The manager of the store was unwilling to let someone stay even though I offered $200 extra as a tip (much more than the tire I was buying). He said if any of his guys stayed after he would fire them. So much for the ad they put out that the manager went out of his way to help someone that was in a bind. They offered no other help, not even a suggestion of another tire shop, suggesting they were the only ones open on that Saturday evening. I ended up getting a tire at the Walmart just around the corner from them. Worst show of customer service. Will struggle to use Les Schwab ever again. Walmart saved the day!

If I could do zero stars I would. I pulled up in a rental after being stuck on the side of the road for 3 hours with a flat right before golconda exit in the dark with my 68 year old friend. Roadside emergency could not find anyone to dispatch to help us change the tire or tow us. My fiance drive from spring creek to change the tire then followed us to winimmuca les schwab. We pulled up to the empty bay and a nice gentleman came and grabbed the tire. We showed him where the pin hole was as my fiance marked it. He turned to go patch it. Then the short man which I believe was the floor manager was like"oh no no your going to have to park over there and wait it like an hour and a half" we explained we were already late for a work meeting in reno and my fiance even stated if they patched it, he would put the tire on. The guy still said no we needed to wait. He was not nice, and we had already had such a terrible morning. I just expected better from les schwab. Especially when tje other guy was going to patch it. He even looked shocked as to why the manager was being that way. It was almost like a power trip thing. I mean I can see why that guy is like that based off his little man mentallity. But I just assumed les schwab was better but it starts with the leadership mentality.Do better. And side note they had lots of workers and open bays. I guess I just rubbed him the wrong way.

Place is a jokeManagers are abusive to staffStaff lies to customers stating work is done but in fact wasn t ever performed.They expect you to pay for said work and damage that accumulated because work was not performed and thus ruining your expensive new tires !!

I have had a lot of issues with this place. They can't keep a manager. They weren't going to mount my new tires today because they were not purchased there. I stood by them faithfully for 10 years.. time to buy my own tire machine. I in fact already have one , but I support local. I will be buying a truck tire machine new. I feel if I have to explain valve caps to the manager, I don't trust thus place any more

Shout out to Winnemucca Les Schwab for their amazing service today. My husband was on his way from Elko, NV to Salem, OR towing a small trailer on our Jeep. His brakes went out unexpectedly near Winnemucca and Terry and his crew got him taken care of and back on the road quickly. Service and price were above and beyond. They truly saved the day!
