Truly dedicated people work here, that take pride in their work. Even if this is still a franchise, the owner and the staff is one of the best mechanics i ve seen in a while, who cares about your mechanical machine and will try their best to help you. Overall outstanding experience and definitely would recommend them over any other car care spots in 100 miles radius.

They were able to get some new trailer tires on the spot. Price was about 100.00 per tire high though and they put to much pressure for the rim to handle so it broke it. I have a worse feeling for Big O now.

Passing from Reno to Boise. Got a flat on my rear passenger side. I like Big O Tires as a brand but Blake runs a great franchise. Now that I know Blake and how he runs his store and the service he provides his customers, I would find him no matter which franchise he owns. If he ever switches to a restaurant franchise I would still drive to the restaurant to work with Blake. He may not be able to sell me Tires in that case but I'm still guaranteed to get the best service I've ever had. Great folks. Great deals. High quality work.On another note, this is the first time I've changed the tires on this car since I bought it. Blake took the time to look up the OEM tire size and was able to let me know I wasn't running with the original size. He explained the pros and cons of the various options and I elected to put on the factory size. Blake provides great service. Now my fender doesn't rub when I'm reversing on a curve.

Stuck in Winnemucca, NV. As we were leaving this morning, we had a tire blow on our trailer with ATVs 10 miles outside of town. The people here were awesome in helping us out. After finding out we couldn't get our tire replaced on the trailer, Big O'Tire Towing came out and towed it back into town for us. Price was very reasonable. Driver was professional. Made a tense situation more bearable. Thank you!!

I've stopped at Big O in Winnemucca 3 or 4 times in last 15 years with either a Motorhome/Trailer or a Pickup/trailer traveling West Coast.2 years ago I put 4 new tires on 2117 Dodge Ram 44. They have alway treated me good.Seemed like if I was going to have flat or blow out it was going to be close to Winnemucca and the owers gave me excellent service.

We had a leak in our tire on a long road trip and they were able to repair it quickly and for a fair price. We're very happy with the service!

Pay per alignmentThe owner told me that my vehicle needed some parts and can t be alignment but he charged me for the alignment without aligning my vehicle.I went to Reno and took it to PALOMINOS TIRES and they fixed it and aligned it in 30Minutes . They told me that those parts were optional and that they didn't affect the alignment, and to make sure I askles Schwab Tires techs here n winnemucca and the are agree!!So I went to the owner of Big O Tires winnemucca to explain what happened in Reno and he got angry with me and raised his voice in the presence of 2 customers. It mattered.THIS IS THE ONLY REASON WHY I m putting this comment!!Worse place ever!!

!! CAUTION !! We took our company vehicle to this shop for new tires and an oil change. Immediately after the work was performed (2 days) our diesel truck began to lose pressure. We called Big O and made them aware of the concern but they were convinced they had not done anything wrong. After an oil level check we continued to drive the truck as it did not show any signs of concern other than intermittent pressure loss but had no effect on the trucks performance. During a material haul we experienced failure at the turbo due to lack of oil and had a mechanic review the truck within two week of Big O completing the oil change. When he removed the Oil filter housing he found that the oil valve that was supposed to be located at the bottom of the housing was placed on top. This created a siphon of oil out of the oil filter housing and cause the turbo to receive no lubricant and failed. We contacted Big O and they at first denied that the truck could even run in the condition that the other mechanic found it. We sent them a video of the truck running in that condition and they dismissed the entire issue stating that it couldn't be guaranteed because we drove 1000 miles. All of the mechanics in the Sparks Reno area agreed that Big O Winnemucca was wrong about their diagnosis and the fault is theirs. We offered to cover the part costs if they would cover tow and labor but they rejected that. At this point we will have another mechanic complete the work and issue a demand letter to Big O for the damages and time lost on our company vehicle. Unfortunately they have no video of the work being done and cannot confirm if their technicians failed to reassemble the filter correctly. We do have accounts from our mechanic in Reno and confirmation from other mechanics in Reno that Big O is wrong. What an unfortunate experience......

Great service. Passing through between Reno and Idaho we developed a misfire. Stopped at another shop that was booked but they directed us to Big O to check out the car. We were met with a smile. They said they would work us in some way. Got us a shuttle to the casino for breakfast and not long after got the call that we were up and running again. Price for parts and labor was great. Honest folks, great service, great prices.

Our tire blew out at the beginning of our road trip, just outside of Winnemucca. We saw a billboard for Big O so we called them to see if they could help us. It was 30min from that phone call until we were back on the road. Not only were they fast, but they were so incredibly helpful and nice. They made a bad morning much better. We ll definitely be back.

I had a tire fall off and they had me towed back to town and back on the road before noon the next day. First time I walked in the store at 7am I was greeted as they had known me for years, friendly and helpful.I'm Very impressed with the professionalism and quickness. I couldn't imagine it going any smoother! It seems they care about safety more than earning a fast buck. I didn't feel pressured on any upcharges like other places have.

Five stars! As I strolled in, the Grateful Dead's "Truckin'" serendipitously graced my ears, setting the tone for an unexpected odyssey of tire-related transcendence. You see, my quest was not just for tires per se, but to find Zen-like solace after a UPS driver side-swiped my car, igniting an existential tire spiral. The aura here spoke of tire karma, and I marveled at their collection of rubbery treasures, each whispering tales of countless road trips to come. Outside, I witnessed a pair of men discussing the pros and cons of radial vs. bias-ply tires while sharing a bag of Takis as a snack. A surreal oasis for those seeking tire salvation and a tribute to the cosmic dance of tread and pavement. Keep on truckin', my friends!

This review is a couple months late thanks to Uncle Sam stealing me away for a while, but Big O was once again a lifesaver on a cross-country trip. A temperature change had left my tires low, and using one of those automated tire pumps at a local gas station had left things worse than when I started. A quick Google search and three-minute drive later, the front office assured me that they "had the technology" (tic) to take care of the problem. This is the second time on my drives that a Big O store has saved the day... you're company is doing things right!

Blake is very trust worthy and his mechanic, Sadeler Sherbondy did great work, on replacement of the motor mounts, on my beloved, 1990 Honda Accord.

As a GM of a repair shop in California I can tell you that Big O Winnemucca did a wonderful job on my Jeep GC. My sister took the Jeep from California to Idaho and started having drivetrain problems by Winnemucca. The guys at my local Big O have been great to us when we need alignments after we perform suspension repairs, so I did not hesitate to call Big O Winnemucca. The Grand Cherokee made it to Idaho with no problems after they repaired it. Thanks to all the team at Big O and the superb customer service!

We called them about an hour before they were closing when we realized my tire was coming apart on the freeway, we were about 45 min away from Winnemucca. They didn't have my tire size but helped accommodate to get us a tire that was very close in size to get us back home to Idaho. It took us a little bit longer to get there since we had to drive slower. When we pulled up right about closing time , we realized we would need 2 tires. They had 2 guys in the garage who got right to work putting the tires on our car and got us back on on the road in about 30 min or less. We called Les Schwab before Big O and they just told us they didn't have the tire and didn't offer any kind of help. If I ever have issues with my tire again while driving through Winnemucca I will definitely stop here again. Everybody was super friendly!

This is the only place I will bring my rigs if my husband can't fix something or doesn't have time. The only place I get tires. They are so helpful and fair. Blake runs this shop and is really a great human all around, besides knowing his suff, being very friendly, and will always work you in even if they are slammed. Best place here.

Probably the best, more courteous, customer service ever. Our rental car had a slow leak in a tire, called from the interstate they said come on in. Keep in mind this is Saturday. Upon arrival upon minutes they had the tire off, patched & fixed. This place was hopping with customers & we met the owner Blake who took the time to chat it up a bit. If we lived here we would definitely be back for service & tires. His staff was great! Thank you all for getting us back on the road!

Went in to get my tries roataed, though it was going to be quick and cheap. No, it took over an hour to do the job plus they mysteriously found a staple in one of my tires that cost me an extra $20 to fix! The tire wasn't flat or anything near, I felt they made up the staple in my tire to charge me more $!!! $70 later I feel like I was taken advantage of and over charged because im female!!!!

Took 4 new tires in to have exchanged for the 4 on the wheels. 4 hours and $158 later I finally got them back and they weren't even balanced. Won't be going back

Great place! Blake, the owner, went above and beyond to get us back on the road when our travel trailer had a blowout. We needed a new tire and rewiring of our brakes. Anyone with an RV knows that repairs are usually very VERY hard to get done in a timely manner and they had us back on the road with 2 new tires and rewired within 24hrs. Other shops quoted us a week.Everyone at the shop seemed very friendly and genuine. Blake seems like a very interesting character too; he really seems to care about people, customers and otherwise. He even gave us a dozen eggs from his ranch as a gift on our way out! Ask him questions, he's got quite a world of knowledge and experience to share. Honestly it was almost worth the stress of the blowout just to meet him. Haha. Hope my next blowout happens near Winnemucca.

Amazing service. Big help from the crew and very personable. As a woman traveling alone I really appreciate a repair shop making me feel safe and comfortable when I got my flat tire.

This place is great. We had issues with our trailer tires on the holiday Monday and one of their tire guys came in and helped us out even though it was supposed to be his day off. They also got it done right away, to get us going, and avoid my wife and brother in law having to use extra vacation time. They were friendly, professional and even talked to our insurance/road side assistance people to explain the situation. Amazing service, go here if you are in a bind in the area.

So I went to Big 0 Tires in Winnemucca and scheduled a upper adjustable ball joint job in my 2017 Ram 3500 Dually and I just called this morning Saturday October 22, 2022 and the owner mentioned that the guy is sick. What type of business is this when I was guaranteed that the job was going to be done today. I would be very cautious and the job does not take 3 hours to do it calls out on AllData as a 1.5 hour replacement.

Blake at Big O thought he could sell me a big lie that I absolutely needed four new tires because I'm a lady. His brother works at Les Schwab and they are running a racket on this entire town. Both stores refused to sell me a single tire due to this active scam and Curt at Les Schwab told me I have a "hack east coast mechanic" and was incredibly rude. If you know anything about tires, you won't do business with these crooks. I recommend OK Tires down the road who got me fixed up and we're incredibly helpful and kind.

Nice, good people. Do good work quickly. Close to water Canyon if you need a free place to stay while waiting for parts delivery. Close to downtown and all the hotels and restaurants too. Shop dog AND shop cat plus 2 giant tv's and coffee for waiting area.

My experience and service could not have been better. My truck broke down on my way from Colorado to California. We had to get towed to big O tires where it was discovered I need a new water pump. They may Room for us on a Saturday and got us right in and was finished in less than 4 hours. But even recommended a great restaurant for us to have lunch at. What a great experience thank you big O

VEHICLE BREAKDOWNS BEWAREOur vehicle broke down on Hwy 80, so we were towed to Big O by Blake the owner's other company, High Desert Towing.Tow truck driver visual diagnosed damage to U joint and transfer case, and called Blake and asked if he wanted to do the repair, and the response was, "yes would be no problem to fix it." It was mutually agreed to give Big O about four days to look into the damage and give my husband an update on damage and parts eta. After two weeks, we were still waiting for any progress other than, "we are working on sourcing your parts." After my husband called several times, he finally put a little pressure on Blake to provide a rough estimate, Blake stated that they actually had not even looked at the vehicle yet, so my husband said, "but you've had the vehicle for two weeks"... Blake then lost his s@8t and told my husband to come get the vehicle.Husband showed up at BIG O the next day to pick up the truck and Blake thought he'd call the police to *raz my husband. So two police units came blazing in within 5 mins of my husband being there, and state, "I understand there is a problem..." But, there was no problem but 'you' Blake, and the police left.If you run a customer service business, you need to be able to communicate clearly and set customer expectations. There was nothing unreasonable in my husbands management of this vehicle with you.So cannot agree more with another reviewer, Richard DAMICO, this owner THINKS he owns half the town, and MAY take advantage of you too if you take your vehicle there!
