Wells is a very small town. I travel with a pet needed a room. Checked in with a very pleasant man. Went to the room found a wet wash cloth in the towel stack. Immediately threw it on the floor. The pillows had no pillow protection, were flat and filthy dirty. I travel with pillows so off the bed and took mine out. I did check to make sure the sheets looked clean. I slept very good with my pillows. The cleaning needs to be better. As I left town I drove by a casino/girls club...wondering if they rent rooms by the hour? Just wondering?

For those of us who like to travel but don't have a lot of money it's really nice to know that there is motel 6 out there for us. Most of the time you knew you can get a clean nice room at a almost fair price. When my husband was alive I had more money. But now that I'm by myself I'm always on a budget. It's nice to know that there is a motel 6 out there for us. This is a nice clean quiet motel that is safe for you to spend the night in

Not clean at all, sheets hadn't be washed in who know how long, I got out of the shower and walked around the room for 5 mins bare feet, looked at my feet as I was putting my socks on, they were black, gross with dirty from floor not being washed in how long, I deliberately walked back in to the wet shower basin to wet them, then wipe them off on the floor towel and didn't bother rinsing the basin to prove a point. Been to many budget places in my day, including tonight(which was good as well as first night in Vegas ghetto hotel and I've never felt so disgusted asi did hereWalkability: Close for morning bite/fuel

I wish I could give zero stars. We understand it s a 1 star motel all we wanted was a quick place to sleep and shower before getting back on road. We had to abandon our clothes and pillows because of BED BUGS!!!!! On top of that sheets were not changed and we had no towels. Contacted manager in the morning she can t do anything and gave me a rack number for her boss.

Has outdoor pool, unheated. Sad face. Breakfast is coffee. Rooms are kinda small(we had 2beds)and very dated and worn. But the bathroom was as large as the sleeping area. There was a shower only- surprisingly small, not good if larger framed- but the water was boiling and stayed there. Pressure was excellent too. Very dirty looking all around.My first motel6 experience was as I had expected it to be.

I ve stayed at this location multiple times and always had a pleasant experience. Stayed this weekend and not sure I will again. Multiple bugs in the room, including a roach of some sort, shower curtain was missing half of the clips, shower pan was dirty, exhaust fan in bathroom was falling off the wall. A fellow female traveler told me her bed didn t seem clean. Wonder if this location is under new management.

My 1st room the ceiling fell down all over the bed and floor and stuff was smeared all over ground and no bedding, management wanted to clean room then have me use it. Demanded new room since ceiling was falling apart. New room there was huge bubble in ceiling from water leak, dirty floors to point white socks would be black when walking from bathroom to bed. Ac was broken so luckily maintenance guy was sweet enough to swap out. Lady in front office was rude, my friends reserved certain rooms and gave me permission to have a room so I told her and she fast out said no then ignored me from there. I was never told the cost of my room or given receipt. Seen on bank I was charged $272 when website stated $59, also other friends who stayed same time with same type room where all charged different rates such as $289 and $267 so not sure why there is not a consistent price considering we all had same amount guests sleeping in rooms. There was a list up front if you wanted to decline room service, I never signed that list but room was never cleaned so never got new towels. The outside of building on deck is falling apart. I've gone to this motel for years for the wells fun run car show and over time this property has gone down hill. Of I was able to reserve a room somewhere else I would have but all around town said booked out. Not sure I wanna stay there again after this experience.Rooms: All the rooms my friends stayed in were all filthy to point you could see the dirt building up on the floor. Some rooms had foul smell, my friend got bit up by something while in bedSafety: Deck up top is all broken and not even, caused me to almost trip few times

It's not the cleanest of places. Front desk staff were nice, but our biggest concern was the front office staff sitting outside getting high with a friend in-between check ins. It seemed to be located in a very poor area and were sure everyone needed their job, so we were reluctant to say anything, but it surely didn't add to our feelings of security while there.

Manager Debbie is very rude, we had rooms reserved every year for Wells fun run Debbie didnt want us to get them or ignored what we had to say , rooms were not clean as they use to be. We go to motel 6 every year for Wells Fun Run. Prices were up so much and the motel is falling apart. Sunflower seeds in our trash can when we first got there floors were not cleaned. Towels need to be updated. Balcony needs fix doors need fix.come on Motel 6 get it together you were better then this

The staff was very nice of the housekeeper made sure I had everything I needed everyday and I got to hide my truck in the back I really enjoyed this place they accepted my two pups just pick up after them they made my stay a lot better than what it wasRooms: Nice and comfy very cleanSafety: I was able to keep my truck in the back to nobody could see itWalkability: Right across the street with the Petro had food gas Casino anything you wantedFood & drinks: Had vending machines on the inside by the main office short walk

Easy to find.. getting worse every time we go there. Was a 5 to start a few years ago. Been there 6 times in the last three years and now it's an upper 2..maybe 3. Coffee on at 6 or so but they never aim to make more so get it early. "They'll leave the light on for ya"..ya whatever that means. And they don't do it here but what's with the beer bottle opener in ALL other Motel 6 bathrooms?

Arrived to find our room covered in dust and dead bugs all over the floor. Pieces of food were under the beds, and the nightstand was wedged between the beds and an odd angle that exposed sharp edges. I asked for a refund and the man at the front desk (who was perfectly nice) proceeded to pull up my reservation and select the refund screen on his tablet. However once the "complete refund" button appeared he had second thoughts and told me he didn't have the authority to proceed. He wrote my room number and "full refund" on a piece of paper and told me his manager would take care of it in the morning. I anticipate that his manager won't have any idea what I'm talking about when I call, and will refuse everything. Just getting it down here first.

Just had to leave at 130 in the morning due to being eaten alive by bed bugs. When we addressed the situation with the front desk, we were told that it s summer time. They can t use the chemicals to treat them, because people will smell them when they rent out the room. We were told there was nothing they could do. No refund. Nothing. Absolutely ridiculous. Do not stay here. Go to Elko. You ll have better luck.Rooms: Dirty, bed bug infested.

We've stayed here in the past on our way to visit family. Its a good road trip stopping point! The plan was to stay here again today but a late start prevented it...Desk Manager Jeff was very kind and helped us get rebooked at another Motel 6 so we could safely get some rest.... Thank you Motel 6 Wells! And thanks to Jeff for understanding our situation.

The rooms are clean enough and the price is good. On top of that the staff is so kind!! After 2 days on the road with 2 small children while my husband is deployed I was feeling rough and they were so understanding. Thank goodness for these good people. Also they take pets which is so hard to find anymore. There is a restaurant just across the street and lots of others near by. Would definitely stay here again if we come through this way.

Came to Wells for the Fun Run. Rooms were reserved a year ago for this event for us. I was the only one who got my assigned room. The others rooms were either given away or they couldn t access them due to broken key card readers. My room was supposed to be a smoking room, however it had a no smoking sign on the door. But there were two ash trays in the room. I just smoked outside. Beds had hairs on them, bathroom door was hard to close fully and to latch. Shower was clean. Floors didn t look like they had been swept. There was change that was left in the bathroom on the counter. Dan at the front counter was less than accommodating and charged me for 3 nights instead of 2. Then Debby refunded me $53, which makes no sense as I was charged originally $236.97 for three nights. There s no way that taxes and fees would be $70 dollars. When I went in and asked for an explanation from Dan at the front desk, I got a card shoved in my face and the explanation I m a retired truck driver, I don t deal with the computers .

Booked 2 rooms, one with 2 beds and 1 with a queen, they put us in adjoining rooms and both had double beds that were so crammed in the night stand between them had to be sideways to fit. The rooms were clean and the person that checked us in was very nice.We asked where a good place to eat was and he said the best place was there "Iron Skillet", it was not good. Go to "Bella's", a tad higher but better.

The shower, showerhead, beds and bedspreads seemed new. They were of good quality and even a little stylish. I pulled a trailer and there still several parking options for my rig. Alternatively, the floor was a little dirty, the door card reader was falling apart and malfunctioning to some degree and the electrical plugs were cheap, making it difficult to keep anything plugged in. However, for the price point the room was above average and I would stay there again.

Room was clean, fast and friendly check in. Maintenance needs to fix the secondary security latches. One room totally loose and other a little loose.Rooms have an adjoining room door with deadbolt and secondary security latch. Pool was not open. Grounds looked clean. Parking area seemed safe. Bed was comfortable. Inside room was in good condition.

This is NOT the Hilton but if you've been driving all day with the kids and dogs and just want to get a bite to eat at Burger King and some sleep this place will do. Employee's have always been super nice and helpful. Never had any issues here. Cheap nightly rates and pretty close to the freeway. They've never charged me for my kids or pets. Autumn who works the front desk is an All-Star and keeps this Motel business going. My first stay was just because I needed a place to get off the road and sleep but I continue to go back there because of her she is awesome.

If I could give zero stars I would. After traveling nearly five hours we arrived to find the slowest woman working the front counter. Took her nearly 30 minutes to even get to me. Checked me into one room (while another man walked in complaining about his room being dirty and full of cigarette ashes) just to have to check myself out again because the room was dirty and beds weren t made. Checked me into another room for the same thing to happen. Then she just said sorry we have no rooms that have been cleaned . We had to go find another hotel after driving as far as we did with a child in the car. I would never stay here!

We just needed a place to crash, and this was a last minute booking. We had a bedroom with two queen beds. The room was cramped.. the night stand between the beds was placed sideways because the beds couldn't be more than 1.5-2 feet apart! The sheets were clean but didn't seem fresh. The top cover had a burn hole, likely from a cigarette. The a/c worked but was loud.The location seemed sketchy. It's a small rural town and the spot is next to a truck stop at a highway junction. Hotel's own wifi barely reached the side of the building we were on. The one from the neighboring hotel showed up. The receptionist asked to use that... it has the same password! Both properties are likely owned by same entity. The security situation seemed iffy. The door lock worked but didn't seem solid. The locking assembly had a couple loose screws. We didn't bother to bring this to the management's notice... in hindsight we should've. There was no fridge or microwave. Bathroom door has no lock -- seems to be a Motel 6 'feature' as we experienced the same in a much pricier location as well!
