Best diesel shop in this town in my opinion! I worked there for a while and learned a lot from Matt and his crew. Very knowledgeable and honest shop. I miss working there and would take and or recommend them to anyone hands down!

They did fix my 07 F250 in one day. They do good work. When I paid the employee that charged my card said to me it would be the quoted price. But after I got home and looked at my debit account they charged an extra 3.8% more just for running my debit. I had cash to pay in full. If I had known there would be a fee for charge I would have paid cash. Nobody told me I would be charged 3.8% at the time of the transaction. I emailed them to get my money back and Sparks Diesel said there was a transaction policy and card charge somewhere in the office. Beware the card charges.

They did good work but didn't notify us of a 33 dollar charge if you use your debit card instead of cash to pay. We would have paid in cash if we were informed of the charge. If you don't inform people of extra charges you could have overdrawn their account. I notified the owner and they said that is their policy and it is posted somewhere in the office. The person who ran our card never mentioned the fee . If they do that to 3 people a day they are making almost a 100 bucks . It doesn't seem fair to charge someone extra fees without mentioning it while payment is being made.

Excellent shop in the Reno/Sparks area. Matt and Eric are fantastic mechanics. I had a check engine light on and truck went into limp mode. They diagnosed the problem, gave me prognosis and fixed it right away. Fair pricing and great workmanship. These guys are friendly and honest, great to work with. I am definitely another returning customer for future service needs on my truck.

My experiences here have been excellent. They are honest and straight to the point. They found the root cause of my problem and didn t just throw parts at it and see if it helped. When I experienced a follow-on issue to my original problem they sorted it out quickly. Pricing seems very honest and fair. I love this shop.

Matt's one of the few good shop owners left. He fixed a cooling problem on my Excursion SD that 2 other shops failed to resolve and replaced a couple u-joints. He did it at a reasonable price and also pointed out other work that "could be done" but wasn't urgent and gave me good advice on when it should be done "in a year or two".

Best light duty shop there is. As a heavy diesel mechanic(class7/8 trucks), people ask why don't you work on your own cars. My answer, because I can trust Matt's crew to get it done right and honestly. Now that I found Matt's shop I'm debating even doing my own oil changes on my excursion anymore.

Sparks Diesel came highly recommended by a mutual friend. I have now used this shop twice for separate issues with my car. Even though it is not a diesel, Matt always makes time to take a look at what is going on with it and give me a diagnosis. They most recently did a simple routine repair and it was done quickly, professionally, and was reasonably priced. Matt is genuine and honest, and the shop is super clean. I will definitely be referring my family, friends, and clients.

This shop is the best - Matt went out of his way to get us back on the road after we broke down going thru Reno. Pulled 2 guys off other jobs to find out the problem. We expect the worst. Could have had to leave the truck and fly back to get it. Matt found the issue and got us back on the road ASAP. You couldn t find a better diesel truck shop.

**Hands down the best mechanic service I have ever received**I deliver Travel Trailers for a living so my truck is my lifeline and I am an out-of-towner. My truck's turbo developed a problem and this place was recommended by my receiving customer. Erik, Nick, and another awesome guy whose name I cannot remember stayed late and evaluated my truck immediately. The short of it was that both boots on my intercooler pipe had torn badly. The boots were replaced and I was back on the road in under 2 hours and for a very reasonable price.If I am in the area and in need of any diesel service this is the place I am going to. Thank you Eric, Nick, and the other guy.

Sparks Diesel has worked on my F350 twice now. Very satisfied with their work. They are Honest, professional, and have a very quick turnaround. Truck runs great. I'd recommend them to anybody needing their diesel worked on. Thanks guys!

I was passing through Sparks, Nevada at about 7:30 AM on a Thursday morning and I developed a coolant leak. I did not have my tools and was unable to fix the leak myself. Luckily, I was driving by and Eric happened to be working early that day. I asked him for some help. He quickly diagnosed the problem (loose clamp) and tightened it for me. AND...he would not accept payment! What an asset to the Sparks community AND a great guy in general.Thanks Eric...you were/are a life saver.

Referred to Sparks Diesel by John @ AAA Auto Electric (Whom I Trust completely!) Upon learning that my 6.0 needed BULLET-PROOFING; Sparks Diesel is whom I had my truck towed TO from Johns shop. Words can NOT say enough about their professionalism, customer service and appearance. GREAT JOB MATT!!! Thanks again guys!!

I took my 2003 Ford F250 to Matt at Sparks Diesel Service for new HPop. He diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes in front of me. We scheduled the service, he performed the service in a timely manner and the truck has been running great ever since. I would highly recommend Sparks Diesel Service to anyone who wants an honest and fair priced diesel mechanic.
