The guys at D&D Transmissions did a great job rebuilding my transmission, and they were absolutely great to work with. The transmission in my 2005 Chevy Suburban died a few miles outside of Sparks this week as I was travelling through town. I called a few places, and they were very expensive and unable to get my transmission rebuilt in a timely fashion. Best case scenario it was going to take me 6-10 days. I was looking at finding a ride out of Reno and then having to come back. That is, until I called D&D.D&D was very knowledgeable and very friendly. They understood my problem with being stuck in Reno from out of town. They were able to fit me in and get me on the road the next afternoon. They helped direct me to a nearby hotel and I was able to book a room on the internet for a great price. They offered to give me a ride to wherever I needed to go.The newly rebuilt transmission purrs like a kitten. It is very smooth when shifting, and is just like when it was new. They did a great job and were cheaper than the other places I called. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent, thorough, quality service on my 1958 Studebaker. Brought the beast in to have a transmission leak fixed and the worn clutch repaired which they corrected. In doing so several other issues were uncovered. Dave and Bill expertly repaired the worn control arm bushings, worn engine and transmission mounts, drive shaft yoke, front wheel bearings and had the old fuel tank cleaned out and the fuel leak repaired. Now the 62 year old car drives like it should. Their knowledge, expertise and skill all contributed to a satisfying experience. Considering the extent of repairs the price was very reasonable. Work was accomplished in a timely manner too.

I had a excellent experience with this shop. Dave is a great, honest guy. He provides professional, high quality work, that they stand behind. I will return for future jobs without a doubt. Highly recommended!

D&D has rebuilt two transmissions for me. Each time the price was reasonable and the workmanship was good. Good shops are very had to find and my experience with them is that D&D is one of the good ones.
