I had my 64,000 maintenance service done to my Land Rover at British 4 x 4 and both Holly and Brian were fantastic. They took the time to sit with me and go over the parts of the car that I didn t understand what that meant a lot. The service work they performed gave me peace of mind with my car. I highly recommend this shop for any land rover owners.

Best mechanical experience ever. They didn't sell me a battery or suspension compressor that I didn't need but was prepared to purchase. You've got to love an honest shop. I'm recommending this place to everyone. Repairs took less than a day. All you Land Rover owners should really check this place out. 10/10

Brian and his crew take the worry out of Land Rover ownership. I had my 02 D2 in for a complete engine reseal and it is running awesome now. Best part is not a single drop of any fluid on my new driveway and not because it all leaked out. They even went the extra mile and fixed a few things I had forgotten to mention on write up. A shop like this is very difficult to come by and I can't thank them enough for helping me build up a nice trail rig that doesn't cost a ton of money or be totally afraid to scratch.

Brian, Phil, and the technician team are the best. They tuned my fuel injection, replaced my alternator, and solved my issues with a squeaky belt on my 95 D110. They were quick, thorough, and professional. They clearly care about their customers, want to make sure you are happy, and are beyond easy to work with. I would highly recommend them, and I will be back the next time any issue arises.

I purchased a Range Rover and wanted service records. Brian was great at communicating with me. He got me all the records for the vehicle. Talked with him for a bit as well. I will surely do business with them when I need to. Hopefully not for major service I hope!I would recommend British 4x4 even based on whom I bought the vehicle from.Edit: Had them install my newer motor in my 05 Rover. They did a great job! There's always extra cost that come with a job like this which was fine. So far the newer motor works great. I won't take my Rover anywhere else.

Simply the best. If you have a Land Rover, you should be taking it to British 4x4.Incredibly knowledgeable and competent staff. Glad to have these guys nearby.I've gone to a lot of different car places over the years and never found any service as good as theirs. From general maintenance to doing custom work on your Rover, British 4x4 does it all.

My LR3 was leaking oil. I suspected it was an issue with an oil change (from a different place), but I really had no clue. Made an appointment, added oil to my car, drove it over and within an hour they had identified and fixed the issue. The filter was not installed tight enough and had come loose. They cleaned up as much as possible and I was on my way. No upsells (thankfully) but they did give me a head's up that the back breaks will need replacing soon and gave a quote. Excellent service, wonderful experience. I will always take my LR3 here from now on.

We had a horrible & stressful experience at this shop. We took our 2005 Land Rover for a review /estimate after we purchased it from a neighbor. Although the neighbor had warned us that British 4x4 was no longer a good shop (since the original owner sold it and new people had taken over), we took it there because he had previously been using them and we did know some work would need to be done, and we wanted to get specifics. British 4 x 4 told us that A) it had major issues which would cost around $15K to fix B) even worse, they told us the parts for this vehicle are not readily available (which we found out later is incorrect) C) that we should just trade it in and maybe we would get a $2-4K for it as a trade in. Lastly it took them a very long time to provide the writeup / documentation / estimate, we had to keep asking them for it. Plus they had promised to break out the estimate /prioritize the repairs, which wasn't provided. Thank God we took our vehicle to other shops for second opinions. Even the dealer gave us a faster, less expensive estimate! We were able to find another local shop which completed all the repairs timely and for LESS THAN HALF of British 4x4's estimates. Furthermore that shop told us parts for our vehicle ARE readily available. I'm so glad we didn't believe what we were told, and took our vehicle elsewhere. I've owned many older vehicles in my lifetime, and this stands out as one of my worst experiences with a repair shop ever. EDIT-UPDATED for reply: If ANY of the info the shop owner shared below had been communicated with us at the time, we would have had a vastly better experience. But it was not. I rarely post negative reviews on Google and I thought long and hard over a number of months since our June'22 visit before posting it. I also wanted to give British 4x4 the benefit of the doubt-maybe the car was a lemon/not worth repairing. But as it only had ~135K miles on it despite it's age, and with good input from other shops, we had it repaired for a much lower price and it's running well since then. So glad we found other places that treated us better and gave us more complete & accurate info.

I've taken my 2011 Range Rover Sport there two times and in both instances they finished the job ahead of schedule. They did the front air suspension in 1 day! I was dead in the water with the air leak and they took great care of me. I trust them completely. Kevin is the man when it comes to Land Rovers. The staff is friendly and willing to give you all the info you need and more. HIGHLY recommended. You will get more than what you pay for.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I took the used Range Rover I was considering buying here. They called me back the same day I called for an appointment and it was the Thursday before the 4th. They were definitely busy but squeezed me in. I'm so thankful I took it in because they were able to tell me honestly that the engine was not in good shape and I should be wary of buying it based on their evaluation that they emailed me with videos and pictures included. I definitely would trust what they tell you. I will definitely be back with my next Land Rover.

What a great shop! I found myself stranded with no brakes on a trail over an hour from the shop and British 4x4 was accomodating in finding some spares from a rig on their yard, removing the parts and selling them to me for a ridiculously low price. They got me back on the road and back to fishing. I wish they were closer to my home base as I would use them for all my Land Rover needs, but I am happy they are there when needed for parts and help.Service: Brakes

Brian, Holly and John are a true pleasure to work with. They go above and beyond for their customers to ensure you have the best experience possible. During a rather long unfortunate experience after our Range Rover was rear ended, they were able to squeeze us in to get the alignment done so we were able to get our car back sooner than anticipated. While the car was there they even completed a few necessary maintenance items so we didn't have to return with the vehicle another time and kept us in the loop the entire time. A true top notch repair facility. Beats going to Land Rover Reno any-day!!! You have a customer for life! Thank you all againServices: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

AMAZING service. Fixed my car quickly. The service was so great that I'm going to start bringing my car here instead of the Land Rover dealership. Nothing wrong with the Land Rover dealership.

We recently had a major malfunction at the end of our vacation where our Discovery's engine belt shredded apart thanks to misaligned pulleys, causing us to face imminent overheating. British 4x4 was the closest location we could safely get to. Upon arriving, they treated the whole family incredibly well, perfectly explained the issue, and recommended we go to the dealer for full warranty coverage. They saved us hundreds of dollars in repairs (if not more!) while keeping the whole family in comfort. A few days later, the dealership called and confirmed everything they found. Holly, her husband Brian, and Kevin are the classiest folks in town, and absolute experts!Service: General repairs & maintenance

So far so good. They worked on my Range Rover. Waiting for parts to come in. So far very upfront with cost and When I was in the Waiting room I could see and hear that they were concerned for everyone.

My husband and I have been with Brian for close to 10 yrs, through all kinds of mostly older Range and Land Rovers. They take care of us like we are family members, in emergencies, as well as scheduled appointments, giving reliable, responsible advice about repairs and purchases, helping us in every way that we need, ALWAYS. We moved here from the SF Bay Area and really love that we have an established long term relationship with Brian and Holly that is completely trustworthy. This relationship and their excellent service, candid and honest support, are critical components of our safety and wellbeing. I am glad to finally write a review for them. A great shop, wonderful service, nice people and a lovely dog. And I like the new location!

These guys take great care of my 2011 Range Rover, and for a fair price. Last time I was there to get my fuel sending units replaced, my alarm went off when a sound system on wheels drive by. They heard it and knew right away that the issue was a bad hood latch and sensor. I had been putting up with the alarm annoyance for a year. I just wish they d take on repairing my wife s BMW.

British 4x4 is the only place we'll ever take our Land Rover(s). Not only are they experts in repairing and maintaining our vehicle, they are locally owned and operated which is extremely important to us as local business owners as well. They always work to get us in promptly and have gone above and beyond on a number of occasions and we can't thank them enough for their amazing and talented work over the past couple years. Skip the expensive dealership and give these guys your business, you absolutely won't regret it.

We have had our Landrover LR3 here several times and the work is perfect. I have never had to bring the car back after repairs. They can diagnose quickly as they are experts with these vehicles and provide a recommended solution that is spot on.

WOW is all we can say. What automotive shop would do this? We were evacuated from our home due to the Dixie fire and Holly and Brian immediately called to see if we needed anything and offered their trailer. Thank you unbelievable!!! Talk about service. They have been servicing our 2006 Land Rover LR3 HSE for years which had 257,000 miles on it. We would never take it anywhere else. Brian and Holly along with Kevin you ROCK!!!!! Brian and his team helped me out enormously when my car broke down as I was trying to visit family for the holidays. This shop is honest and thorough in their work. They educated me about what specifically was going on with my vehicle and were able to complete the repair very quickly considering the work that was needed. I have been to several european auto shops and I would highly recommend this particular location.

I took my Range Rover into the shop and had to continue to bring it in every 20K miles to fix the same issue. After the 3rd time I offered to square up on labor and I paid to tow my rover to a different shop. They didn't include the parts they removed and now I'm out 15K plus labor to replace the entire engine.

This place is really good but a bit expensive by my taste. Comes with the price of owning a Range Rover I suppose.

I really appreciate how up front, honest, and hard working the team here is. Although they could identify the problem, and had some theories on how to fix it, they told me the whole situation, and gave me advice on how to best handle the situation without sinking even more money into what might be a lost cause.Great service. They even worked over the weekend to figure out the problem. I definitely recommend this place if you have a model that they service.
