I highly recommend for Mercedes repairs and service! So happy someone recommended Autobahn Specialties to me!!! They are honest, upfront, reasonably priced, and they actually care!! They have a client for life now!! Also, they fixed my car in one day!

First off, a big Thank you to Jason, Christy Chad and the entire Autobahn team for turning a nightmare into a dream come true.Working out of town from Texas I bought what I thought was a good vehicle to commute back to work and eventually home. A 2008 A6 Audi was my dream car and I THOUGHT I got a good deal on it until it overheated on my way to work. Brought it to the first shop and they mis diagnosis with an outrageous quote.Spoke to 2 good honest mechanics in the area and they both referred me to Autobahn due to both being booked up and saying that they are the best shop for foreign cars. I called them and despite being booked up as well they made room for me since I was from out of town and stuck in Reno.Towed my car there and was greeted by Christy and that scary stuffed cat in the corner when you walk in. ( looked real)Jason and his team got right to work and correctly diagnosed my vehicle. It wasnt as bad as I thought and repair cost was far less than the quote I got from the first shop.I was updated on all work with pictures and recommendations throughout the entire repair process.If you have vehicle problems then I highly recommend Autobahn. Best mechanics and shop in Reno and they will not rip you off like some other shops. My Audi is back on the road and im heading home. I needed a new battery for my 2015 Mini. I called to schedule an appointment and they told me they could get the battery and get it replaced the same day. I drove down, gave them my car, and they were done with the job within an hour. They also beat everyone else's price. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I m so grateful that I found this place. Jason was great to work with and he did a great job communicating a plan to fix my car. I felt educated and in charge of the treatment. Most importantly, they did a great job with fixing my car. They were the third mechanic I visited. All the others I visited just didn t give me an explanation that I felt comfortable. Now a month later, my car is still running great because of their impressive diagnostic ability and pin point the most likely issue.It s the only place I will take my Audi to in the future.

I felt the need to say how amazing their customer service has been through diagnosing my vehicle! I reached out over email and they were quick to respond and answer any immediate questions! I was back and forth with what to do and because my previous servicer wasn't much help, Autobahn stepped right in and gave me advice over the phone and email. They never even saw my car before helping me troubleshoot the problem. I 10/10 recommend! And will use their services in the future!

Great guys (and one gal) along with a team of competent mechanics for specialty vehicles. I've had my oil changed here twice and they do the job right. They are also very patient with finicky customers like myself, so thank you.

This is a long overdue review. I got caught up with moving and new job but I always wanted to come here & give Jason and the crew a top review. They helped me tremendously when my Audi had some unexpected issues during the pandemic while I got stuck in the state alone, and when no one else around could help out properly.The Audi dealer I went for help failed me massively, even though I had always serviced my Audi at the dealership and I even gave them a 5* review in the past. The new rep and his mechanic provided shockingly dishonest practice.Luckily I found Autobahn specialties - they found the correct issue promptly and fixed it with very reasonable charge. Jason and his crew carried out unparalleled professionalism, deep mechanical expertise, and great customer care, with honesty and respect, for which I am deeply grateful.I would recommend Autobahn Specialties to any Audi owner based on my personal experience. This is a great shop from the kind and friendly service writer Chrissy and Jason.Being very knowledgeable on various questions I had showing their love and passion for what they do. The love and passion is also shown in the back with the mechanic team with the outstanding job and service they provided me on my vehicle. Great shop and will be making this my permanent shop of choice wouldn t want to go anywhere else for my vehicle service needs.

We are so happy with the service this shop has been providing to us! Jason the service provider is so helpful and professional! They are very honest and have fair prices! For the last 2 years we have taken both our BMW and Mercedes to their shop for repair and we have never had any issues with their quality of work and the prices are fair! The last 2 services they did exceptional! The fix my old Mercedes manual odometer and they did an excellent job repairing my convertible BMW top! Had multiple oil leaks and a coolant leak on my 2015 VW CC, Jason and the team got us in quickly and provided a detailed assessment and recommendation, at a third of the price quoted by the dealer. Car is back to tip top shape.

I dropped off my Audi today to have them diagnose my check engine light (P2006) and they were very thorough with their assessment. I'm very picky with mechanics and auto shops due to some out there that will give you the run around and up sells you every chance they get, that's why I've been working on mine and my friends's cars if I can do it.Jason and the crew were very welcoming and knowledgeable and I'm very familiar with all the work regarding my car, and they didn't disappoint. Took our 2011 VW Tiguan in for what we thought was a blow head gasket. After their detailed inspection they determined it was something completely different and saved us a LOT of money while also educating us. We tried 2 different shops for this repair and these guys had the knowledge and experience to get the job done in under a weeks time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Hands down THE BEST auto shop I've ever dealt with. Quality of the work on my daughter's BMW was outstanding, prices are reasonable, and the customer service provided by Russ is over the top. He does his best to accommodate every need.

I've been taking my Tiguan here since the warranty expired. The craftsmanship is generally good and the labor/parts prices are reasonable.I would give the stars but I've started doing a bit of my own work and have discovered that at least one mechanic in their shop needs a refresher course on how to properly torque things like lug nuts and oil filters... Most recently when trying to remove the oil filter it took one of those universal pliers that destroy filters to get it to budge. They're supposed to be just past hands tight... I've had to use a breaker bar with lots of force to break the lugs free...Otherwise a good shop and worth taking your German auto to.

Awesome shop great mechanics do it right and work well with customers to meet their objectives! Definitely recommended at 5 stars!*changed my review from five stars to one star after the shop did not honor their warranty and did not fix my vehicle that was definitely still under warranty for the same problem. Will never go here again or recommend again after spending almost 15k on the same issue and not getting the problem fixed.Bummed to say this but it s the truth.

I have been going to Autobahn Specialties for just about 3 years now, and they have always been fantastic. Went through a rough patch of car repairs to my 2006 A6, and they helped me in every single way possible. Timely, informative, helpful, and extremely understanding. Way overpriced. Quoted $1800 for a transmission fluid service more, than twice the cost of what I paid at their competitor. Is their service twice as good? I doubt it, I'd recommend shoping any quotes from this place.

We have several BMW's and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. These people are honest and straightforward and if anything try to keep you from spending unnecessary money, rather than gouge people like the dealership and other places based on greed. They get more business because of this...what a concept!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This company has the most terrible service any shop has ever shown me. I was a returning customer but I can tell you now I will never go back. I had a steering pump changed on my Audi, after it busted less than 10 miles later, they refused to give me any sort of reimbursement. ON A $600 VISIT. Jeremy and Michelle were extremely rude when I came in to talk to them face to face and they both were very unfair to me because I am a teen. I feel taken advantage of and wouldn't recommend this car shop to anyone who cares about their car (or their paycheck.)

Brought my Mini Cooper here many times and always impressed by the service. The guys at Autobahn really go above and beyond. They're very reliable, great at communication, and seem very open and trustworthy. I recommend them very highly.

Hands down the only place I take my vehicles! They are honest and upfront! The prices are very good, especially considering my Mercedes...which can be very costly. You can make a phone call or text for an appointment which is also nice. Friendly customer service too!

I just bought a 1987 BMW 535is e28 a few days ago. I knew most of the issues that needed attention. I needed to drive it home to Denver so I wanted to make sure it was ready for the trip.Rick, who is the co-owner and his shop tech, Craig gave the vehicle a thorough inspection which lasted about 45 - 60 minutes. Then they took me to the shop area to show me all the sloppy suspension issue, leaks and miscellaneous repair possibilities. Most of these items I was already aware of so they were totally honest in evaluating the condition of the vehicle.Rick and Craig were also helpful at pointing out the critical issues that needed to be addressed immediately for safety concern but they were also kind enough to tell me what I could wait to address once I got back to Denver.Overall here is what I want to say about Autobahn Specialties:-Their prices are very reasonable; I shopped around. They will help you save money without compromising safety.-They are honest, so if it doesn't need to be fixed, they will not tell you that it does.-They are timely, relatively fast but detailed which is much better than fast and sloppy.-They are extremely helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The waiting area was clean. They had free wifi, free Keurig tea and coffee. They offer a shuttle service.-They are new, hungry and enthusiastic about building there business so take advantage of that!-If I lived in Reno, this would be my German automobile shop no doubt about it!Thanks again for not taking advantage of someone with an older BMW. Stay classy Autobahn Specialties!!!

We love our Audis and Autobahn has the best Audi technicians around. You can trust them to fix it right and not sell you unnecessary add ons. I can build a car from the ground up and (due to tools and laziness) trust them wholeheartedly.

I can't say enough about this place! Russ is an awesome caring person! My son's BMW broke down a few days before Thanksgiving and they were really busy, I told Russ our situation and that we lived 5hrs away and he actually called his customers ahead of us and asked if they needed their car before Thanksgiving and he was able to get my Son on the road so he wasn't home alone and our family wasn't split down the middle :( There's only four of us and we've never been apart during the Holidays! And thanks to Russ and his crew at Autobahn Specialties we carried on that tradition! I wilm never forget this! Thank you!@@

I will NEVER bring my Audi here AGAIN. WARNING TO ALL LUX. CAR OWNERS.I wish there was a zero star option. I was completely let down my the terrible service I received. After reading marvelous reviews and purchasing a groupon for 50% off an oil change I thought I had gotten the best deal in town...with someone who is specialized in German cars?! Perfect right?! ABSOLUTELY NOT! I had my oil changed prior to a weekend in which I was driving 4 hours out of the city. I hadn't even made it to half way until I received a warning that I needed to check my oil. I checked the dipstick and nothing came out of my car. I pulled into the nearest mechanic I could find and as they raised my car, you could see that oil was sprayed all over my undercarriage. The mechanic informed me (which was also blatantly obvious) that the gasket to my oil filter want not properly sealed... Causing highly pressurized oil to spray all over. I returned to the autobahn store the following Monday where I was originally given a coupon for a free oil change on my next visit. I informed the technician that I could never trust any of the work that they do in my car and I needed a full refund plus the amount of the new oil change while I was on the road. I'm completely dissatisfied with the service I received here and do not recommend this place to anyone. That's what I get for trying to go to a specialist.
