Made an appointment a week early for an alignment. My mechanic does it and charges $35 less. He has to send it out. I don't want to wait a day to get it back. I made this clear. I asked how long they said 2 hour wait. I made it clear I will wait. I came to the shop, it was treated as a drop off and it will not be seen for another 3 hours.They were professional this gives them 3 stars ....but ....If you can not get the simple things correct out the door. I am out !

I m not sure what happened here. I had just moved into town and my wheel was making loud grinding noises, so I took it to this auto shop because it was closest to my house. Later that day they texted me a quote to replace engine mounts for $1,400. This car is 22 years old but only 100k miles on it so that surprised me. Plus I was still convinced it was the wheel. So I took it somewhere else to get it checked out. Turns out the CV axel was seized on the passenger side! I paid that mechanic $500 and it drives like new now.

First time being to this shop. Took my truck in for a second opinion after the dealership was asking for major repairs at a major cost. John and Mike helped me to find out that the repairs were not needed at this time, but will need to be done when the parts do actually fail. They couldn't varify or duplicate the problems that the dealership found. And they didn't want to just throw parts and money at a problem they couldn't find yet. Very honest and and very nice people! Will definitely be bringing my vehicles here in the future.

Only Place I Take My OBS Chevy for service. They are always efficient, honest & best of all offer great customer service. Matt & Skip have helped me out Everytime I ve gone in there. Definitely will be coming here Everytime for my vehicles service! Thank you guys

$825 for an oil change, tire rotation, new air filter, and new brake pads for rear brakes only on a 2016 Chevy pickup. They charged an extra 3.5% of the bill (about $30) to use a credit card. INSANE prices for routine maintenance. I unfortunately had no time to shop around or I would have gone somewhere else.Their St Patrick s Oil Change Special cost $145 - FOR AN OIL CHANGE?!?!? And this is the discount price?!?$503 for rear brake pads only; they quoted over 1000 and tried to up-charge me on new rotors even though my current rotors are in spec$74.70 charge for a $32.20 air filter.They also quoted me $4500 for control arm replacements, which, in my opinion represents highway robbery price gouging.I m the idiot for going here, will not be going back

Absolutely horrible from start to finish. Brought in because it failed smog. Made it clear this is a throw away car meaning not worth major repairs. What I got in return was a 3,000 bill to pass smog! Yes that s right and nothing was actually replaced bit a spark plug and 4 new piece of tires that I obviously didn t need. Thieves .. BBB copied on this .

I had my truck towed to this shop for an alignment and was referred by 4Wheel Parts as my truck is lifted with aftermarket suspension. The shop returned my truck in a condition that could have caused irreparable damage and could have been potentially life threatening if the condition went unnoticed. The alignment was not even close to being done correctly, with bolts not tightened down that would slip while taking corners. The camber of my wheels was visibly off, while parked on level ground in my driveway. There are pictures below to show the condition my truck was returned in. Additionally, my steering wheel was never centered, so while driving straight my steering wheel was pointed at 10 o'clock instead of centered at 12. I visited the business 3 times and it took over a month to hear back from the owner, who refused to refund me the full cost of the faulty work done, instead insisting that he would pay the cost I paid to get the alignment done properly at another shop (which was $40 less than their shop). I wasted multiple hours and drove from out of state to resolve this issue, multiple times. I'm currently disputing the charges through my bank. If I could give this shop a 0 star review I would. Avoid this shop like the plague and DO NOT let them touch your vehicle.

Had a very good experience at Allen's. Brought my truck in for a Savage Title Inspection. Was in and out really quick and the Tech let me know of anything that still needed my attention, as well as fulfilled the Inspection criteria for DMV. Very nice shop and I'll use them again ad needed. Great shop for Inspections for sure!!

My husband drove my car when I told him it needed servicing. Well he blew the engine. These guys are really nice and understanding. Did the diagnostic at a reasonable price and kept it until it was donated. Great, and honest guys.

Allen's & Levrett Automotive are mechanics you can trust! We go out of our way to bring our late-model cars to Allen's Automotive (and their sister-shop, Levrett) as they always do a thorough evaluation of our vehicles. Alex is especially helpful! She helps me stay on budget by reviewing which issues are "fix now" vs. "fix later" priorities, and has even pointed me towards inexpensive fixes we can do on our own. Love these guys! Scheduled a tire replacement (all 4) for 8:00am. Drove to Allen's Automotive, left the car and got a ride home from Rubin. When the job was complete, Rubin picked me up and returned me to the shop. The new tires were checked for alignment and found to not need it so I wasn't charged for it. All in all it was a great experience.Service: Wheel alignment

When everyone else I called were booked 2 weeks out, luckily, they got me in 24 hrs. Diagnosed a bad coil and weren't offended when I did it myself (already had one on order). Still ran bad and they again got me in to rediagnose. I had swap 2 wires so they didn't wven charge me. Great guys!

My son's car needed repairs, was told to drop the car off & they would call me Monday morning. Necessary repairs were made & I paid them over the phone, which is convenient as I work out of the area.Excellent customer service & they have earned my repeat business!

They were thorough, friendly, professional and reasonably priced. My car ran better after they installed two new tires on the front end. They are very nice and helpful. I have had a car (diff cars) towed here twice. They are so helpful, explain everything in detail, show pictures and videos in my email quote, and don't pressure you. All the repairs done was what I approved and everything has been great since. They even texted me a couple of days later to make sure all was good. I definitely recommend them!

I was traveling through Reno and noticed some oil seepage. I stopped at this auto shop and they were very helpful checking it out for me tight away. I appreciated that they squeezed me into their busy schedule immediately.

These guys are honestly amazing. REALLY quick. They are worth every dollar spent. Free ride to and from the shop when I needed it. Very respectable work warranties.Also wonderful follow up to make sure everything is working well. I needed a new muffler and tailpipes. I came in right at closing and the whole crew made me feel important They gave me two estimates and asked me which way I wanted to go. My son's Jeep was not starting at times. Allen Automotive did a thorough diagnostic evaluation. I got a detailed description of what was wrong. Alex talked to me after she sent the information and I agreed to do the work. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything really well. The work was done and came in under budget which was great. The Jeep was ready when they told me it would be. Everyone was pleasant and professional. The Jeep is running perfectly now. I just sent my sister to get her car fixed because it is hard to find a trustworthy and good mechanic.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Everyone here was very friendly and helpful, I was able to bring my car in a few days after speaking with Alex and her checking my check engine light. While traveling to Reno from the Bay area I got the dreaded death wobble in my Jeep. I called the Jeep dealers in both Reno & Carson City who didn't have any availability to look at it. I was given the name of Allen's Automotive and they were amazing. I talked to John on the phone and explained my problem and he told me to bring the Jeep in & he would take a look. From the time I got there until I left I was so impressed with his knowledge of the problem and the professionalism of both John & Alex. These 2 were the epitome of excellent customer service and I know if I lived in the Reno area this would definitely be my go to shop. They had me back on the road within a couple hours and also pointed out another issue I should have checked when I return home. Thanks John & Alex. I have been taking my car(s) to Allen's for over 15 years. I have always been super happy with the work they do and everyone there is really great to deal with. They are very honest and the customer service is really wonderful. I don't have a high end car and they work with me on what is logical to do to keep it on the road. Wade at Allen's Automotive really helped us out when our power steering line went out while we were off roading. We are from out of state and needed to get the job done quickly to get us back on our journey.
