I called from across the street and said they could take me right away. I literally drove across the street, had to wait for the light to change to green. and then the service guy said it would be a 1 hr and 45 minute wait.Absolutely ridiculous.

Came early to get tires this morning. They don't take appointments so it's first come,first served. Took about an hour and Allie at the front desk was amazing. Great customer service

Really a great experience over the last 2 days in having a vehicle looked at & in for service. They were busy and short staffed, although each and every person we interacted with were extremely kind, caring & knowledgeable! I was actually quite surprised at the excellent service!I felt like they honestly worked with us to get the best deal/prices. Not annoyed at all of our questions and wheeling n dealing to get within our budget. I feel confident in their work and left feeling like my mom's car was much safer out on the road. Great piece of mind for us both!Thank you guys! Highly recommend going here!

I scheduled the install for my tires, and was told they were delayed up until day of install. This isn't an issue, since I don't need the tires until the install anyways. But then I get a call from 7th street Wal-Mart Auto Center, and they stated that they don't do scheduled appointments, and it's first come first serve. Since i don't get off work until 4:30pm, there is no way that first-come first serve is going to work for me getting to the Auto Center at 5pm, when it closes at 6.Why do you folks even bother to schedule appointments if the stores don't honor them and tell you your appointment is canceled because they "don't do appointments". The store says its' because they are short-handed, but that makes zero sense to me because if you are short-handed, scheduling makes you MORE efficient, not less. Just a terrible experience all around, and I will not be going back to Wal-Mart for any automotive services after this install. In the meantime, I am still driving on a donut spare 11 days after ordering brand new tires.Service: Tires

They need more mechanics! Ive attempted to have my tire sensors changed about 7 times. Everytime I try, there is at least a 3 hour wait. Now, I would be more understanding if I was showing up mid day on a weekend but, I've been trying mornings during the week. I'm sure a lot of business is being turned away if this is typical. It costed me more but, I took my auto business elsewhere where my time is valued.

I brought my car in to have the back two tires replaced. When I came back to pick up my car, I had gave them an updated phone number and they STILL called my old number, they asked me like a child who broke something but wouldn't admit it, if all of my windows rolled up when I brought the car in. I informed that they did all work properly when I brought the car in. From there I was questioned, laughed at, and lied to. They would not address the issue or take any responsibility. Manager Misty talked down to me, worst customer service I've EVER experienced. They do not care, they just want to take your money. Go anywhere else, buyer beware.

If I could give them -555500000 stars I would! Customer Service terrible! Auto Care Center has VERY RUDE people working there and the managers? It's funny they even can call themselves managers. They hung up on me 3 times and refused to let me speak to the person I needed to speak with. They ALL need to be fired!

One evening I came out of an event with my wife.... And had a flat. We tried to pump it up, but it was leaking tons of air out of a hole in the side of the tire.We did a quick search and found a nearby Walmart auto care center and thought that maybe they would be able to help us patch the tire.We pulled up, and believe it or not, they had been closed for a half hour.Even though it would have been very simple to brush us off, a hero came out of the garage and helped us put our spare tire on so that we could make it home. This was super helpful since we were not from Reno and didn't have the correct tools to put the spare on without that hero.Thanks for being Superman. Points scored for Walmart.

Only one oil change ahead of me. All ready in bay hood up. It took 2 hours for tack to do this car. He walked around took a drink disappeared for an hour 10 am. Than after that car done he walked around bay my car is the only car left. I did not want to wait another 2 hours for my car to get oil change as it was 11 30 at this time. I left and went to jiffy lube it only took 45 min

I have to say the prices here are Amazing but it is Walmart after all. Lol I originally went in to get a lot of work done. I had some special cases so I was not able to get most off the work done but they definitely went above and beyond to assist me. I have to say I did wait about 2 hours or more but the employees made it a easy going as they could.

The ladies in the parts department sold me the wrong batteries two years ago, one failed, brought it back, they have the audacity to tell me that these are the wrong batteries for your truck .......after THEY sold them to me??? It was physically revolting trying to talk to them without losing my mind. Currently driving to another Walmart to get it straightened out. Stephen, one of the techs, was the only knowledgeable person there. If you take your car here, don t expect to get the right batteries.......just go straight to Stephen.....welcome to Walmart, the pitiful excuses of an auto shop.

The auto department at this walmart sucks no matter what day of the week you go. Complete unprofessionalism, unorganized, and you have to wait 20-30 minutes just to be able to talk to someone. Ridiculous. If you have tire issues go to Gutierrez tires on Sutro, they charge the same to fix a flat, but they're always helpful and fast.

My friendly neighborhood Walmart ,automotive on west 7th ,reno nevadaIs not so friendly at 6:05 pm, Sunday 12 22 19,When I looked online it reads they are open till 7 pm and open nowWhen i called to find out about a basic safety check and balance for four tires on my suv. Thank you for calling Walmart automotiveThe person who I spoke with, rudely imformed me they were closed only when I asked how much for a basic safety check on my tires and balance for all four. Then told me I have to buy brand new tires to get a basic safety check, and no info on balancing and hung up on me three times,I don't know why they even awnsered the phone..I'm sure not going to buy one or four tires ir trust them with my tires if they are to busy to even offer to make a appointment for me.Thanks but no thanks WalmartSincerely,One who wants to drive safelyIn Reno , Nevada

Well the associate told me they were closed for the day. It was 4pm and th hey close at 7. She said they were understaffed and suggested I go to jiffy lube down the road. She had no cards in the bay and one that was waiting. I asked her why the one car was going to get serviced and her answer was that it was her last one and it would take the entire 3 hours because she needed to take her lunch also. Now what really has me upset is that this was the third one in the area that did this to me today. I've been trying to get in at the one near my home and they keep telling me it's going to be a 2 to 3 hour wait before they get me in and to come back tomorrow. Been coming back tomorrow for almost a week now. I called Walmart hq in Arkansas to let them know and I will take the lady's suggestion to go somewhere else.

I was given a price for 2 tires on my car, my front left tire kept going flat and right one needed to be replaced. Went in next morning they drove my car to the door then this guy comes in and says, we didnt realize your Rav4 was front wheel drive so you're going to have to put 4 news tires on it or we wont do it... I replyed, ok you just lost my business, I was going to put on 2 today and next check next week put the other 2 on, I was trying to keep my wife safe and others also...but if you dont want my business someone else will. Come on they didnt know Rav4's are front wheel drive??? Now if they dont know that then I dont trust them to even put oil in my car, let alone tires... the business across town gave me a great deal replaced the two bad ones, put the new on the back rotated the tires and next week I'll go back and get 2 more... Come on Walmart lets keep it honest...integrity goes a long ways with customers. But I have to say this walmart and the one 2nd street are horrible, their customer service is non-existent they deffinitely need classes in how to treat their customers honestly and with class...

This Walmart on McCarren has been changed inside where the tire center/automotive is located. There are not enough personal to assist when checking out. My wife and I waited 20 minutes for someone to attend the checkout station. My wife is disabled and it wouldn't work asking her to walk to the front of the store, then back to the tire center to exit. I suspect the minimum hourly rate of $15 may have something to do with the sitution.

Very good service. Had to drive in 100 miles...got lied to and dismissed by another Wal-Mart in Reno...but these guys fit me in at the end of the day and were able to get me what I needed (2 new tires) Very sympathetic crew. Very satisfied.

I have bought tires from Wal-Mart for years for all of my vehicles, but no more. I purchased a set of Goodyear Viva-2 tires for my mini-van, the only vehicle I have left with Wal-Mart tires on it. After two years, I had a leak in the tire and when I went to the Tire center at Wal-Mart, they said it was too worn to fix, so they had to be replaced. Wal-Mart pro-rated the tires, and I purchased the replacement tires (for the two bad ones) in May of 2015. March 2016, the other original tires started separating, causing a wobble in the steering. The tire also started leaking. When I spoke with a service person, he immediately concluded the tires were too worn to even rotate them and refused to touch them. No warranty was offered this time. So, I bit the bullet and purchased a full set of tires at Costco and couldn't be happier. The new tires are much quieter and the cost was acceptable, despite the newer set of Wal-Mart tires on the minivan having less than 18,000 miles. I am done with the service and tire quality at Walmart. The management either needs to look at the employees attitude and correct it, or they need to accept that people see them as scheming. I have no confidence in how this department operates.

It only took 20 minutes for the auto center employee to get his key back to unlock the cabinet so we could buy a $2 brake light bulb. Way to hustle Gomer F Pyle

Only went here because of employee discount. Service was mediocre, took too long, and would not rotate tires because I only purchased 2. Outstanding service and customer satisfaction should not be limited to just what I purchased. Another walmart fail.

I tried to call this location to inquire if I needed an appointment for an oil change. The phone rang 30 times before someone answered it, and then I had to be routed to the automotive department, and the phone rang at least 10 times and then I gave up. Is there no customer service anymore? It seems that this store location has absolutely no customer service

Bought a battery there last Sat went to see my mechanic and he checked the battery and said that it was no good wouldn't pass thevtrst wrht bavk to Walmart they checked and said it wad c good. Wouldn't give ne a news one.
