My husband was in an accident on September 11th, 2020. Within a couple of weeks, our car was dropped off at VIP Collision. We were called in January 2021 to pick the car up, only to find that they never replaced the back bumper, which was half of the claim. We were called again a few weeks later to come pick up the car. Upon arrival, we were told that the car wasn't ready after all, that the person applying the vinyl to the back bumper accidentally ripped the vinyl. We were called for the third time to pick the car up on March 5th, 2021. Upon arrival that day, it was discovered that they applied incorrect pieces of vinyl to the back bumper and trunk deck. My husband and I decided to take the car home while VIP orders the correct vinyl kit for our limited edition car. Their parking situation had already resulted in multiple new scratches and dents to our car.We live in Fallon, and I had to take three days off work in order to try and pick up my car. My husband works in Reno, so we made arrangements THREE times for me to take off work, spend the day in Reno and pick up the car after he got off work.Since we received our car back, we discovered that the viny company also CUT our trunk deck to remove the spoiler. At no time did either company contact the owners of the car to find out how to remove the spoiler that was installed WITHOUT cutting our trunk. We discovered the cuts on March 6th. Since then I have initiated almost all contact with VIP. The owner, Alfred Gill, last contacted me around a month ago to let me know that he was contacting the original vinyl kit manufacturer to attempt to have a couple of pieces specially made. Since then I have left messages and not gotten a single call back.LET ME MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR: IT HAS BEEN A YEAR SINCE VIP FIRST HAD POSSESSION OF OUR CAR AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE CONTRACTED WORK! I wouldn't suggest this shop to the person I hate most on this planet!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Staff was incredibly friendly in person and over the phone. Very customer oriented. They got my car ready a week early than estimated and it looks beautiful.

Barbara and Alfred are the most incredible team to work with. We brought our car in on a Monday late afternoon and parts were ordered that day. Finished and ready to be picked up the following Monday morning. The completed job was perfect. The entire experience was actually very smooth and enjoyable because of the great personalities of these two that are so knowledgable and professional. They know what they are doing and this allowed me to relax through the whole process. No question of where to take a vehicle for body repair next time.....and the way people drive....there will be a next time. 9/15/23 Editing my review of 4 years ago. Sent a friend here and Alfred & Barbara were never around. His service was horrible and the job took nearly five weeks to complete. Lots of promises but limited action. It is nothing like the place that I reviewed 4 years ago! I know that I will never return here!

Waited almost a year to type this review. I'm disappointed to say that I had a really poor experience here - both in the quality of repair-service provided and in overall "customer service." The repairs completed by this shop (radiator and bumper replacement after a front end collision) were performed incorrectly; leaving me with electrical issues and internal alarms system issues in my vehicle. Since VIP was unable to determine the error, I ended up needing to go to two Ford dealerships to figure out the issue and essentially re-do the work that had been done. It was a year-long process that VIP did not make any easier (failing to answer my calls or calls from the insurance company, no direction or suggestions for what to do about the "new" issues, no real apology or acknowledgement or ownership over the mistakes made). You will be better off taking your business to a regular dealership.

I had my car there, took them about 5 months for me to get it back, when I did get it back they forgot to put parts back on my car, left extra parts in my car, didn't put my car back together correctly, and my wife's change from her center console went missing! Long time listener of RAD Radio so that means I'm a Maggot. RAD has been advertising VIP Collision couple months now saying how they strive on Customet Service well I had the opportunity to check them out I'm very happy with the end result. A little back story. A rock hit my windshield a week 1/2 ago driving home damn thing scared me, hit pretty damn HARD ( haha I can hear Rob & Brandon now) but didn't see my windshield immediately affected...till the next morning Saturday 2/29 the damage showed up the crack was half a dollar bill my vehicle also had eyesight attached to my windshield, ok I'll probably need to get it fixed in couple weeks... by Monday 3/2 the crack was as long as a dollar bill, called my insurance set an appointment for 3/7 Saturday to have Safelite.. than it hit me Wednesday I wonder if VIP Collision does windshield repair?? They do !! Emailed VIP Collision by the next morning the crack grew to more than half of my windshield I called VIP Collision 8:30am WOW Barbara said she can get me ASAP and can calibrate the eyesight they contract out with Reno Spark Glass just need to keep my Subie overnight hmmm ok I really want to test VIP Collision out so I'll work around it. Dropped her off 3/5 she was ready by 12:30am 3/6, asked Barbara if it could get a wash to she said Absolutely not a full wash because of the windshield replacement ok . OMG !!! Happy customer here!! I'll definitely be spreading my happy news. Now waiting to get a full bra estimate from VIP Collision for my 2018 Subie I need to ask VIP Collision if they offer shuttle service? That would be Major ++ convenience if they do

I chose this shop because it had the highest rating on Yelp. I was told my car would be repaired in 1 to 1/2 weeks it s now going on 7 weeks. Lots of excuses, ( received damaged parts, waiting for parts, trying another supplier, mechanic quit, moving car to another shop) . I spoke to the manager directly. I asked him to contact me with an update last week. He promised he would, here we are a week later, no update, he s not answering calls, not returning my voicemail messages. When I call the main number, same situation. They don t answer when they see it s me calling. I think it s time to go over there with a trailer and pick up the car as is, and bring it to another shop that can actually do the work. I don t see how this shop can possibly have a high rating. Customer service is nonexistent- ZERO.

I paid a $500 deposit for them to order the parts for my car. They said they would call me when the parts were in to schedule a time to bring my car in, but I never got a call. No message left, no email sent (even though we already had an email chain going), no texts, no calls.I called to see what was happening and they lied, saying they had called and I hadn't answered. I asked them to reimburse my $500 and they said they would, but it is now two months after that and I haven't been reimbursed.All I can assume is that they took my $500 and ran with it. I am going to file a police report if I am not reimbursed in the next three days.

They tried to give me the car back with obvious paint flaws-felt like they were hoping I wouldn t notice the dimpling. When I brought it up they happily said they would redo since it was a reaction that gave the paint a fish eye look, but I was mostly upset that they even tried the pass off the work as complete to begin with. Then I had to call multiple times regarding the status of my car and when I could pick up, initial work was 1 week over their date quote and no one ever contacted me to let me know it would be longer, I had a rental car for almost 4 weeks due to the initial repair work and then the painting that had to be redone. Then 2 days after picking up I noticed a large dent in the back trunk door, around the areas where work was being done-but I already signed off on the work when I picked up my car. So inspect ALL areas of the car not just where they did work! My husband washes and details our cars so he knows where all the bumps and scuffs are and this is new from the repair shop. Overall I will never return to this shop, I only chose it because my insurance covered the cost of work 100% where as the shop I wanted to go to required $25/hr out of pocket because my insurance wouldn t cover all the costs. In hind sight would have been worth the money to not deal with this place.Services: Auto body & trim repair, Painting

They repainted my Viper after it was backed into. It took a bit longer than the original estimate BUT this shows their commitment to quality work. They chose to delay delivery time to be sure the paint was done right and I would be happy. They were right on with that. They did an amazing job. So extremely happy with VIP. We had originally taken my car to another shop who wasn't able to get the job done in a timely matter. Called over to VIP and they had the parts ordered that same day and my car done just over a week later, and the results were amazing. My car looks brand new. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone. Plus they detailed my car and made it all pretty inside, which it never is, so that was cool too.

As a professional in the automotive industry, I have to say this was my ultimate experience with another business in my field. From start to finish the entire crew was friendly, over exceeded all my expectations, and they did a amazing job on the repairs to my vehicle. I manage a local repair shop in Sparks, and I will refer all my customers to this shop. I dropped my car off Monday morning expecting it to be completed Thursday. They called me Tuesday afternoon and my car was ready for pickup. They were extremely accommodating in a tough patch I had this week, and comped a rental car for me so I could continue going to work. I cannot thank the staff enough for your outstanding work. This body shop is worth 5+ stars in my book.

I needed to get some repairs completed from an accident I had several months ago. A Google search for local collision shops brought VIP Collision Center to the top of the list. I stopped in for an estimate and they were several hundred dollars lower than other shops I tried.Barbara and Alfred sourced the part I needed and said they could have it in short order. They also said they could paint the panel before I brought my truck in so when ready they'd only need me to drop off the truck for an afternoon.Once painted, sure to their word, it took 5 hours to install the panel and I was back on the road. They made the whole process was easy. They kept me updated and completed the job above my expectations. They are definitely my 'go-to' collision shop.

My beloved 2004 CR-V was in need of paint repair due to sun damage. It was a tricky endeavor as most of the car paint was fine but the area above the passenger side doors along with a few other areas were in need of new paint. After doing a Google search I decided on VIP Collision Center. I'm so glad I did! Barbara was friendly, helpful and a delight to deal with. She kept me up to date on the progress. When I picked it up I almost cried as it looked brand new! You can't even tell where the paint has been repaired. They even went the extra mile by having it washed AND they cleaned my very cruddy headlight lens covers!!! I'd highly recommend VIP and they are now my go-to should I need any bodywork on my vehicles.

I just had work done from VIP!! I was quoted from Liberty Auto body that my car would take 3 weeks to fix and after searching for other body shops we found VIP we took my car in and Alfred said he could get this done in 3 days. I took my car in on Wednesday and got it back that same week Friday!! The body work done on it was amazing! Barbara and Albert were great and very organized!!! Take your car here!!!!

Alford is amazing! I spoke with Barbara around 10am about replacing a cracked light in the hatch of my Subaru and how I had a replacement light for the hatch and within the hour of bringing it to VIP Alford stopped what he was doing, came out to meet me in the parking lot and replaced the light. He was so professional and diligent with removing the old light in the hatch and he replaced the new light perfectly. He even put my door panel back on for me that we had taken off when trying to do the repair ourselves. Skip the dealership and take your car to VIP Collision Center and speak to Alford for any auto body work your car needs. You ll be so happy you did.

This place is the BEST body shop in collision repair center in all of northern Nevada, or maybe even the western United States! Not to mention they also took care of an additional three or four small repairs that were not covered by the insurance for no additional cost.Alfred runs a tight ship and took care of everything from my rental car, to the insurance adjuster, to the body work and paint, and even paying my deductible at the end (albeit only $100)!I will be forever bringing my vehicle to this shop for even the smallest repairs! I like my cars to stay in Hot August Nights quality and this is the place that will now forever do it for me!!Thanks guys, you deserve the five stars!!!

Great services!! Had to pay out of pocket for my auto repairs and they were more than willing to work with me and got the price down to a very reasonable amount. Dropped my car off to the shop, got the fender, bumper, and hood repaired within 3 weeks. Even offered to drop the car off to my location. Couldn't be any more satisfied with this company! Most definitely recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to get screwed over in this type of business!

Customer service here is terrible, they still have the audacity to argue with the client when the client expresses their concerns and why there not happy with the work that was done to their vehicle! Had to go back more than 3 times because they did not bother to do the job right the first time! And they still didn t bother to get the job done. I guess they love to work twice as hard here. If you are not educated with body detail/work do not go here, they will try to rip you off knowing you have no education in that trade.

Everyone at this shop went above and beyond for us. I crashed my car and did over $7000 worth of damage to it two weeks before my wedding. This shop had parts ordered same day that I brought my car in and completed the work for us in just over a week, which left us plenty of time before our wedding to have our car back! They kept us informed every step of the way and even gave us a hand assembled care package with a sweet note for our honeymoon. The people at this shop are so kind and genuine. We will never take our car anywhere else again. We can't recommend VIP Collision Center enough. Even the paint job is perfect!

Vip got my car in and out alot faster than other shops in town. Most shops said it would take 2 months but not VIP they got it done quickly

Super understanding and got my car fixed and looking brand new in a timely manner. The staff there is also super friendly and make you feel very welcome. The price was good and they even added something extra at no additional cost. Will definitely come back to this place in the future if I need body work again.

Had my 2021 bumper fixed and painted less than a year ago and the paint is chipping. I came by to show them and the office lady said they won t fix it because it s from rocks. It s not rock damage they just don t want to fix it. Save your vehicle and money and go somewhere else!!! This place is a rip off!!Service: PaintingService: Painting

Probably the best customer service I've ever received. This company came highly recommended by Schreier Specialities who does all our mechanic work on our trucks. When we went in to pick up our truck, a portion of the repairs had been missed. They apologized for the error and went above and beyond to get the additonal work done quickly. They included a small basket of "toys" they called their "Stimulus Package"! The work was exceptional and beyond what we expected.

So I was in an accident beginning of this year these guys acted like they were gonna help me out in hook me up they did the total opposite they left so many things they did not finish and they forgot to put the vin sticker on my door paints peeling and other parts that they should have so now I have to come out of pocket hundreds of dollars and go back threw my insurance company to finish what they flaked on and i gotta come outa pocket for there ignorance and unprofessional work i would never recommend them to anyone. Don't waste ur time or money

I have no clue why VIP is getting bad reviews.. They got my car in and finished super fast...handled everything with my insurances agency. Worked with my budget in a major way ... Not only do I recommend.. I'm taking in my classic car to have Alfred paint it as well... Whoever posted bad reviews is tripping.
