Customer service here was awful, walked in and nothing was said to me. The person getting me in for my oil change talked down to me the entire time. Never want to go to another tires plus location again what a miserable experience

Mark and Jose L. Were amazing. My car was unsafe to drive and I spent all day in another shop just to tell me they won't have time to repair my car that same day. It was late in the day and I made an appointment with this shop. Mark understood my issues and he was willing to help me and find a spot for my car. Jose L. Showed up to the front desk and he gave me his honest opinion. He immediately took my car for inspection. I had a diagnostic in 30mins (that was so fast). Jose was honest about what was needed in my car. I discovered the other shop was lying to me. He repaired my car and i was back on the roads in about 2 hrs. Fast, honest and reasonable price. You won a loyal customer just because you have such amazing people working in your shop.

Customer service is good, speed is also acceptable. They do oil changes, and tires but it also sounded like other people were their for their AC I'm just not sure how indepth they get with AC repairs. I was helped by I believe his name is Carrie and by I believe her name is Heather both of which were amazing!

Even though I went to the wrong location for my brake job appointment, Cameron said they would inspect the brakes and give me an estimate. He called back as promised and I gave him the go-ahead to do the work which they were able to do the same afternoon! ...instead of leaving the car overnight as I expected, since it was already late Sunday afternoon. They finished the job shortly after the 5pm closing time which I think was above-and-beyond. I really appreciated having my car back so quickly and the brake job done when I didn't even have an appointment at that location. Cameron took the time to answer my questions and he showed me the worn out brake pad and rotor, and explained the work that was done, so I had complete confidence in the work. It was already half past the shop's closing time, but he was very patient and I wasn't rushed in any way to get out of there. He even suggested I get instant approval for a Tires Plus credit card for an additional 5% off and no interest payment plan, and took the time to take my application on the spot.

Mark and his team are friendly and professional. I especially appreciate that Mark takes the time to explain in detail any work that needs to be done and why. It an admirably common practice as I have seen do this with many customers besides myself.Miguel is a superb and dillgent mechanicwho is dedicated to making sure that his work is done well. More than trusting him to work on my car, I trust him to =work on my wife's car.Both of these men should be more involved with training staff. Their work ethic should be used by the company. Not doing so is wasting 2 valuable assets that would contribute to the company's success.

I started as a customer with Firestone, in the early 2000 s.Travis Goddard was a young man, at the Meadowood Mall, Reno store.His integrity, genuine concern and care, for my car care needs, sold me on Firestone.Over the years, I have followed Travis (no stocking ) to the different stores he has managed, and with advancing to the higher positions he s held, has secured for me, Firestone / Tiers Plus, is my go to shop.I have always had, honest, friendly, courteous, and professional assistance, from all the associates, at the different store locations.Happily this includes my last visit, at the Peavine location, in Reno Nevada.Thank you,Travis and all the associate s, that have helped in assisting me, over the years.I have felt monetarily and emotionally, satisfied, secure and safe, knowing my car was service by you.Thank you again,Eileen Holler.P.S.Yes, I have a few miss-haps, over the years. Customer service was good but communication during the repairs wasn't so good. No updates, 2 hrs for an estimate then another 2 hrs for repairs. Rear brake repair.

Fast and friendly . They have improved since last time (I used to not receive any communication from the shop when my vehicle was done). Cameron was very nice and explained different options for tires based on my needs.

Wow! Great service and fast, even though they were incredibly busy! Definitely set an appointment online through the website. Swapped my tire with a spare in no time, after a curb bent my wheel rim in an ice storm!

I had a appointment here at 2pm. They didn t take my truck inside the shop until 6:00pm. They finished at 7:15. They took 5 hours to do my alignment and tire rotation. They couldn t figure out how to do my alignment. My steering wheel wasn t this bad. Now it goes more side ways then how it was before. They told me that they couldn t figure out the chamber on it and they couldn t even it out and said they couldn t do too much to my alignment because of my top control arms being too close to the spring on both sides. Now I have to go somewhere else to fix it properly and get the job done right because tires plus on North McCarran couldn t do it. I paid $110 after waiting five hours for nothing And for it to be worse. Wish I could get my money back.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Don't waste your time.Heather was very nice, however, niceness will only get you so far when being lied to.I desperately needed a front alignment and my regular shop was unavailable to make an appointment for me. So, I ended up finding Tires Plus(headaches) to make an appointment the next day at 11am.Next day, I get a call 30 minutes before my appointment telling me they had someone else with an appointment for alignment at 11am. They asked if it would be okay if I left my vehicle and they would get right to it after the other person. I didn't need it until 430pm, so, I said that should be okay.I had to leave work to meet my girlfriend and give her a ride home and get back to work. I came home after work around 330pm and I called and spoke to Heather again. She said they were working on my car right then and they would call me when it was done.I needed to get it by 430 to take my girlfriend to work and then tow a loaded trailer to an event. I was running short on time so I went in figuring they should be close to finished. Strange enough, my Jeep was exactly where we parked in at 11am. I asked if it was done, knowing they hadn't touched it and knowing that Heather lied to me over the phone. Welp, more lies as she stumbled over her words trying to blame the shop guys amd saying the my Jeep was being worked on but then they had to put the other car back on the machine. She said they were getting to mine right away. It was already 430pm and I didn't have time to argue. I just took my keys and left. My girlfriend got in the Jeep, and being 5'2" she immediately noticed the driver seat had not been adjusted. The point is they never worked on it like I was told. My appointment was somehow not actually an appointment. I'm so pissed at this level of incompetence.

I have visited this location many times in the past and have never had a bad experience. That is until now.My car had been stalling and turning off while idling. So I called and made an appointment to take my car in and they we re able to get me car in right away. Which I was happy about.I told them the problem they said they were going to test my battery and charging system. I told them that that wasn t necessary because I just replaced the battery and the starter. They said it was apart of their full diagnostic check up. I said ok and also told them that if there are fluids or filters that need to be changed to let me know. I also told them to look at my windshield whipper fluid because it is leaking. Everything appeared to be made clear.I dropped my car off and didn t hear from them for 2 days.The day the called me to come get my car they said they couldn t find anything wrong with it and that they didn t find anything wrong with the charging system but that I need to replace my serpentine belt and the oil was a little low. I already knew the electric system was fine. I told them that. They had my car for 2 days and found nothing?When I went to pick up my car I asked if they would order the belt and they said yes but I have not heard from them since. This was in July.When I asked about the windshield wiper fluid the guy at the counter said that they didn t find any cracks or anything and that it s not leaking. I said How is that possible? It s literally all over my driveway. To which I only got a blank stare. I paid and left.Now I know that they aren t a real mechanic shop but I ve had similar services down there before. I m very disappointed with how they handled the situation and the fact that they never reach out about my serpentine belt. Their costumer service was lacking. They were not helpful at all. These guys saved me from being totally stranded in a town where I didn't know anybody, and had no where else to go!For context, I was on the I-80 heading back to California after spending the weekend in Reno, when suddenly my car lost all engine power and couldn't keep up with highway traffic, which forced me to take the next exit to get to safety. After taking the exit, I noticed this giant parking lot adjacent to me which included a variety of fast food restaurants, a gas station, as well as some shops, so I decided to limp over to it to check out the car.Upon opening the hood, I noticed that ALL of my coolant was gone, which told me that there was a major leak and that my car had overheated. At this point I was totally freaking out, as I knew that without my car, I wouldn't be able to get back to California, especially with Donner Pass in-between. So, I start frantically searching for places to bring my vehicle to. However, as it was a Sunday afternoon, pretty much every shop in town was closed, except for Tires Plus, which (THANKFULLY) happened to be on the lot that I brought the car to. Although I was initially skeptical and afraid to contact them due to their mixed reviews, I decided to give them a call anyway as I didn't have any other choice.The customer service rep who answered my call, Cameron, was extremely helpful and straight to the point. I limped my car over to their side of the lot and walked inside, explained my situation, and he quickly took my information and gave me an estimate of when they would check the car out. Afterwards, I gathered my things, then made my way to a hotel to stay the night.The next day, feeling extremely stressed and fearing that my car wouldn't be ready in time, I decided to give them a call for an update. However, before I was about to make the call, Cameron, the rep from earlier, gives me a call and tells me that the car only needs a new reservoir tank and inlet hose, and that although it would take around 5 days to receive a new hose, they can just clamp a larger hose over the burst hose to seal it off, which would allow the vehicle to be ready for pick up by the end of the day. Furthermore, he gave me a very generous quote for the repairs, which I wasn't expecting at all! I happily agree to the services, and later make my way over to pick up the vehicle. They also refilled it with coolant and pressure tested the system to ensure that it was sealed.As of writing this review, I am no longer stranded, and back home in California with a vehicle that now has a functioning cooling system, all thanks to this Tires Plus location. First, Joe is probably the only redeeming quality of the place. Paul is a jerk! After nine months, my tires were so bad that metal was showing. I had my tires rotated on a regular, and they were the last to align my suspension. They wouldn't do anything for me even though I only drove 16k on the tires I bought from them. Highly recommend you do not use them!Service: Tires

They are honest and don't say something needs to be fixed unless it really does. Will be returning here to get my car fixed and inspected. Cameron is incredible at customer care and does a fantastic job every time I go to Tires Plus.

Worst experience ever. I made an appointment yet he still said it would be several hours till they got to my vehicle. The appointment was made for 8:30 AM and when I made the appointment I discussed with the lady that it would be quick because it was first thing in the morning. Will never even consider using this tires plus ever again. I do not have several hours on a workday to wait around for my vehicle to get done when it is a 30 minute to 1 hour job maximum.Steer clear unless you have nothing else to do!

The front desk was able to get be a great price (a competitor was 130 more). The staff was friendly. It took them 5 hours to do brakes and rotators and I had to call them to get a status update

Had to reschedule my initial appointment due a much longer wait than quoted, then they took 4 hours to repair one tire . Once I came to pick up my car, all the employees stood outside talking as a few other customers and I waited for 15+ minutes alone inside to pay and get our keys back. Terrible service, will not be back

Visited here on 10/27. A chunk of metal punctured my tire while driving and I was losing air fast. They were the closest shop to me and closing within 10-15 minutes. Thankfully they were able and willing to help out. Initially thought I was going to spend around $200 to replace the tire but Cameron and Nick were able to save the tire versus upselling me on the tire at a time of need for me. Its nice to know there are shops that choose to do right by the customer instead of putting sales first. I will be a returning customer here thanks to Cameron and Nick. Thanks guys!!Service: Tires

I made an appointment on wed for friday,i got a call explaining the next appointment i could use was 3pm the next wednesday. after arriving at my appointment a week later and after paying 700 up front for my tires i was told they were not even studded. I was told i would be given calls with updates and i recieved none. I finally called about 20 min before closing and was told my car would be done at 6:30 i recieved a call at 6:30 asking if i could reschedule the alignment for Saturday, i couldn't reschedule because I was leaving town for the holiday. I then had to wait until 7:30 before my vehicle was done. I had an appointmant made for 3pm and it took 4.5 hrs to put studded tires and an alignment. I will never be coming back to this establishment, the unprofessionalism of making someone wait for an appointment and then making them wait 4.5 hrs for maybe a 1 to 2 hr job is absolutely unacceptable. If you're going to schedule appointments for customers making them wait a week for service make sure your establishment can handle the work you are schedulingServices: Tires, Wheel alignment

The only problem coming here was that I made an appointment at a time when I got there they could not find the time but they did have my information. That said service was good and they explained what was needed and the cost which was not expensive and car was done when they said it would be

They always do a great job, but are also always busy! Expect to wait (but know it s worth it). The staff are all kind and accommodating, often staying late, past scheduled hours, to finish up several vehicles.

For this time of year and then throw in a pandemic.....these very hard workers went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and schedule. I look forward to doing more business with them. (And they even helped this poor soul!)
