When you re a single female and need a shop you can trust, these guys are absolutely the best! They do great work, are honest and are experts in the industry. Their pricing is extremely reasonable too and they thoroughly explain everything. Thank you, Dave and Chuck for always taking care of me!

I found these guys after another German Specialist in town that rhymes with Barbarian Lotto Mouse charged me $500 to NOT fix my problem.Chuck & Dave were extremely accommodating, got me in that same day, had it fixed, & sent me on my way within mere hours.I have taken my car back to them for other work since then & it s always a pleasant experience.I can even call them up for quick questions & Chuck doesn t hesitate to break down the info for me.I ve also referred one of my BMW-owning friends to them & they ve helped him out as well.Overall top-notch service & work. I will be taking my MINI to them for a long time to come.

If you want complete peace of mind, this is the shop for you. They are honest and price their labor fairly. We took our 2004 X5 in for a coolant leak. I talk to Dave, who told me they were 3 weeks out for apt. Explained, we were to leave for Oregon in two weeks. Dave got us in the shop in 3 days, had it fixed in 1. They even fixed a taillight I didn't ask them to fix at no cost. Super knowledgeable and nice guys to deal with. (BMW factory parts)

This place takes AMAZING care of my car. Always quick and respectful. I get told anything wrong with a reason priority level. I wouldn't dream of taking my car anywhere else.

I ve been into this shop a few times now. What I can say is I feel they are honest, and don t try to take advantage of the customer. I am confident I ll be using this shop for all of my needs going forward. They are great to work with. Highly recommend.

Chuck and Dave took care of my daughter's BMW on very short notice and got it fixed the same day. They gave us a couple of advisories but didn't push us to take on those repairs immediately. The car drives great and we now have peace of mind and a regular place to take her car for maintenance and repair. Very professional, courteous and seem to really know their stuff. I'm so happy that Chuck and Dave have opened The Factory. I've known these guys over 10 years each. They're both honest, hard working guys and are extremely well trained BMW techs. They have worked on many of my vehicles over the years. Now we all get the benefit of having all that talent at a fraction of the cost of the dealership! Thanks for what you do!

The only place in Reno that I take my BMW s. Dave, Jake, and Chuck are incredibly knowledgeable and have always done a great job. Having three 20 year old BMW s, at least one of them is in the shop at any given moment in which these guys have always fixed the issue the first time and at a super fair price. They re all enthusiasts so they do care about your car when it s there.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had the dreaded "Check Engine Light" appear in various forms including "Limp Mode" on occasion. I drove around with it like that for a few months due to the unaffordable dealer's repair estimate. The Factory fixed the 10-year old X1 quickly at under 1/20th of dealer's estimate and it easily passed a smog inspection. I'm relieved that I found a place in town to trust.Service: Engine repair

I was looking to purchase a European vehicle in Reno but live out of state. I wanted to get a PPI done by a European vehicle specialist before i went to inspect/pick up the car myself. I called around a few shops in the area. Chuck and Dave at the factory were more than willing to give advice and spend time explaining everything in detail over the phone.. even without knowing if I d even give them business. This is exemplary service and why I ended up choosing The Factory over their competitors. Also reasonable in price.One recommendation would be to include a PDF/Printable report for PPIs. I was looking for a auto mechanic in Reno NV for my 2008 BMW X5 that s honest, reasonable pricing and has integrity in place of the one I ve been using in Calif. Dave and Chuck at Factory BMW & European Car Care Services are the guys I found. These guys are GREAT! They told me everything I need to know about the work they need to do and the cost. The factory did a great job with my vehicle. Dave and Chuck were very professional and sympathetic with how they treated me. I needed a lot of repairs and they were able to diagnose and repair my vehicle in a very short amount of time. I really enjoyed my experience with Chuck and Dave and and felt I had a direct line to who was working on my vehicle. These guys really know their trade!I would recommend The Factory to anyone. I actually did refer my father to them and they took great care of his rig as well!!! I really can't say enough about this shop! Chuck and Dave are awesome! They were able to get me in quick (same day) and went above and beyond to get me back on the road and make sure my car was safe for the next storm cycle. I went in asking for an oil change and they went over the whole car. check engine light (critter had chewed through the wires...) and factory software update [BMW]. We took our older Mercedes Benz to this shop for a fluid leak in the transmission. It was pouring out of liquid and we were very pleased with the repair The Factory did on our car. Their is still a slight leak and they were very upfront with us to totally fix it if it gets worse would require replacement of transmission. They were very honest and upfront with us and their repair prices are good! They provided excellent communication throughout the entire repair process and will definitely be back for our future auto repair needs! A++

Incredibly honest business ethics and Chuck is overall just a cool dude. Traveling cross country with a time constraint, in an e70 X5, and fell victim to a bad case of limp mode. Chuck got us in same day, and didn t take advantage of our desperate situation. Ended up being a faulty coil (cyl 3). The refreshing part was Chuck s integrity. Could have easily said any cyl 4-6, which requires much more labor.I come from a strong background of real world mechanics and business PR. While waiting in the lobby, I even listened to Chuck quote & explain to a client how he was going to fix their vehicle. At this point it was clear The Factory team is what you d expect from a highly tailored and specialized car repair.Services: Electrical, Engine repair

We took our 2005 Land Rover (which has a BMW engine as Land Rover was owned by BMW then) to 4 shops for estimates after we purchased it from a neighbor. Chuck & Dave were the most knowledgeable & professional, they corrected the numerous problems at a very fair price. Took in my 2016 Mercedes CLA250 for maintenance. Received quality service for a 1/3 of the price of the dealership. They didn't even charge me for an issue I was having with my driver's side window. Dont waste your time with other BMW repair shops. The customer service that Chuck and Dave provide is top shelf. Other repair shops will nickle and dime you, but The factory will save you some hard earned cash. Service was prompt and polite. I was pulling a trailer from Chicago to Leguna Seca with my X5 and the alternator died in the middle of Nevada. I limped it to Reno that evening and The Factory had me back on the road the next morning so I didn t miss any racing. Super helpful, fast, and awesome guys. The shop was immaculately clean and the service was exemplary. I just wish they were closer to home - I d use them all the time.Service: Electrical repair

Took my 2010 Mercedes SLK350 in for a fifty thousand mile service. They did all that was necessary for the service but also discovered that the rotors on my rear brakes were not original and were undersized in diameter so that the rotors only wore part of the brake pads. Thus part of the pads were not worn down. If left alone the pads would bear upon each other and would not clamp the rotor.Great work!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

They got me an appointment on short notice to diagnose a mysterious clunking from the front suspension and located the issue right away. Everyone there has top level BMW certifications and are real car nuts. Great people with a nice clean shop. I highly recommend these guys if you are looking for high quality work on your vehicle at a fair price. Having dealt with some of the other German auto mechanics in the area, I was glad to see a new entry into the field and I was glad I gave " The factory" a try. After 30 years of dealing with car shops this is the only place I've been where it seemed like they cared about my car as much as I do.Service: General repairs & maintenance
