I had Street to Sand do some modifications to my Honda Goldwing. I have knee issues and needed my foot pegs lowered and brought forward. They completed the work quickly and at a great price. I highly recommend them.

21 Mustang GTWork done: Dyno TuningTimeframe: Approximately 1-2 day turn around (to note: there was a turn around window that was out of Street to Sands hands involving the Mustangs PCM needing to be decoded via HPtuners -- This delay was communicated professionally via Dustin)Pricing: Competitive and fit the market. No unexpected surprises. Was able to do an after tune follow-up & quick adjustment at no additional cost.Quality of work/tune: Above expectations. The tune done to the car feels very smooth as if it came from the factory this way. I have yet to discover anything with the tune that I do not appreciate.Communication: Dustin was professional and courteous. He understood what I wanted done, he communicated in person, via phone and via text message. Dealing with him felt more like I was dealing with a good friend who cared about my issues and goals.To note: The car had a previous tune done by another shop in town that was causing drivability issues (a loss of around $1000.00 for a bad previous tune). Once Dustin was done with the car it netted an additional 25 wHP and 35+ wTQ (both tunes were done on a dynojet) to say this is impressive is an understatement considering the factors we were dealing with. I am not here to name the other shop in any capacity as I am not looking to detract away from the positive experience I had dealing with Street to Sand. Actions speak louder than words, and these guys nailed it.Consider this review when you are thinking of where to have your Mustang tuned locally.

Great friendly and professional staff! I'm fairly new to Reno and it took me a while to find a reputable shop to work on my Corvette. Dustin and the crew were all awesome and I'm glad I. now have a shop I can trust to work on my ride. THANK YOU!

I moved here from Texas for some business temporarily. I needed good tuner and shop to get my fuel air ratios dialed in from the altitude change.These guys were absolutely great, super knowledgeable and very willing to answer any questions.They did my spark plug change, oil, and filters, they verified there was no issues like misfires, and did a couple base lines and full tune for me.They got my e85 fuel module tuned out because sadly nevada has none readily available on a regular basis.I've been there 4 times now and I am always happy to give these guys my business!I would highly recommend them.

I couldn't have been happier with this shop. I had a 6" BDS lift installed. The only hang-up was the wheels. Due to supply chain issues everywhere the whole process took an extra month...but they worked with me on getting a similar a style wheel. The turn around from there was a day and I could not be happier with the outcome. My truck looks and drives amazing. Great communication and professional top notch install. After my re-gear I will be going back for a tune. These guys are great and very knowledgeable. Bring your truck here if you want the job done right.

I heard good things about Dustin from a couple local shops, so I brought my LS swapped Monte Carlo SS to him for a tune-up. Prior to the visit, the Monte ran OK, but didn't have much power. It would barely spin the tires even with 6.0 Liter LQ4. When I got the car back, it was a different beast. I have found my new go-to shop in Reno. Thanks Guys!

A MILLION times better than Geared Performance. Use these guys, they know what they're doing and will deliver as promised. A bit of a lengthy review, but you'll see why these guys are so much better quality.My car sat for 3, nearly 4 months at Geared Performance's shop for a tune and new wheels, only to get my car back UNTUNED, wheels never put on - oh, and they broke my splitter on their dyno. I'm surprised they even replaced that. My husband and I were promised a delivery date by GP several times, each time an excuse that someone was out with COVID; or that my car wasn't achieving the horsepower they wanted (20% gain). What did it in for us was when their tech promised it would be tuned on February 14th, wasn't, and the tech even said he "knew" he could get the 20% out of it - only to arrive there and be told he couldn't and just "un-did" everything.Mind you, during all of this, I was 8 months pregnant at the time and they jerked us around without an honest excuse. So, after GP handed my husband the $800 it cost for an unlocked PCM tune, he took my car over to Street To Sand and I'm pleased to say they delivered as promised. Dustin took great care to explain the 20% gain GP promised wasn't achievable by JUST a PCM tune; they also fit us into their already tight schedule in March (now 9 months pregnant) because of how far along I was. Street To Sand NEVER lied to us about wait time, they said it would take a week - AT MOST - if the computer wasn't unlocked and to tune it. Well, it only took them a day.We also voiced concerns over the splitter and they showed us their in-ground dyno; and assured us a lowered car could fit on it without any issues. I am happy to say my splitter is still intact. ;)Thanks Geared Performance for providing such horrible customer service and driving us over to an ACTUAL, CREDIBLE shop that could successfully tune a car in a timely manner.

These guys do premium work for very reasonable prices. I brought in my 2022 4Runner for a lift kit I picked out and they had it installed and back to me very quickly. The whole team is very nice and professional. I will not hesitate to come back soon!

After having a Z06 built by Dustin, I decided to build a second car at his shop. Unfortunately this pro charger install with a boost and wide band gauge of his recommendation did not go as smoothly. The pro charger is great but the wide band gauge has never functioned correctly. After a few attempts to rectify the problem, Dustin has now decided to ghost me, not responding to 4 e mails over a two week period a I try to set up an appointment. I consider this a clear childish move to avoid finishing a job that has been fully paid formonths ago. Buyer beware!

My classic 1983 GMC Jimmy was stalling & having problems on mountain roads. Dustin & the mechanic Tim noticed that the header connection was cracked; thus, my sensors were reading the fuel wrong. Fixed the Crack, drove four states recently & performed like a dream!

Dustin tuned my car and it's the best money I've ever spent. I have a 2012 300 srt8. 401hp before the tune 459 after! Super cool guy to deal with. Really nice shop. All around great place to go with amazing prices!

Dropped off my 4Runner for an off-road bumper, LED bar, winch, and suspension upgrade install. Perfect install.Don't go anywhere else in Reno. These guys know their stuff and do a perfect job.Highly recommend.

A+ customer service! After a new cam and headers i took my car to dustin and had him tune it. The process was seamless i dropped my car off so he had plenty of time to do his work, i was kept upto date on what was going on with my car and was notified when it was complete. My car drives like a dream in stop and go traffic even today with 100+ degree temps the car performed perfectly. i will bring back all my vehicles to street to sand to see dustin and his crew they are amazing! i recommend if you havent taken your vehicle (on or off-road) to street to sand call now and get an appointment before hes booked up! i cannot express in words how happy i am with the tune on my car and the care and dedication that was put into it!

Called and asked if they could handle an engine with a carburetor and they said OH YEAH bring it in. I then asked so if the main jets need to be changed and stuff like that you can do it rite? Again OH YEAH bring it in! It was first off a huge hassle to get it there (Not their fault) but then I call em 2 days later and they say they can't get the carb tuned and you need to take it to another shop to have it tuned and bring it back hahaha thanks for NOTHING but a damn hassle!!!

Street to Sand is one of the best performance shops in Reno Dustin's one hell of a man tries to get everything done on time but he's not Superman although he does wear a cape on weekends

These guys confirmed a diagnosis on my 16 Expedition. I had a custom tune removed after the diagnosis. Decided it wasn t for me anymore. I changed out the bad throttle body, and was back on the road again. Thanks!!!
