Great shop that does quality work. Would definitely recommend for anyone with an Audi to go here your car will be in great hands. The whole process from dropping off my car to pickup was seamless.

SAS automotive staff and mechanics are fantastic. They did not hesitate to help resolve an issue that unexpectedly came up during a repair. They did an outstanding job explaining the issue, its resolution, and how quickly they could address it. The work was completed faster than expected, and with an excellent outcome. I highly recommend taking any of your vehicles here. I know I will bring both my Audi s to this shop.

Very thorough and detailed in explaining in person, phone and through paperwork what is being done or recommended. I feel safe putting my teenage son in the road after they fixed his VW. Thank you. We will be back, but hopefully not for a long time.

Friendly and professional.I brought in my 2012 VW GTI MK6 because the timing chain tensioner had failed, which resulted in stretching the timing chain. After repairs, it was apparent that the timing of the cams was off as well. The process wasn't easy for me, but I knew I was in good hands.I recommend anyone with German vehicles to trust SAS to get the job done.

A+++++ business! My son and I were traveling from California to Rexburg Idaho and his 2008 Volvo. I was taking him to school/his first year of college. We started having issues with the car and multiple engine light came on. We called this establishment and they told us to come right in and they hooked it up and diagnosed it within 10 minutes of us arriving in were able to get the part and install it within an hour! These guys care and are absolutely fantastic!Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Changed ownership since my last visit. Friendly staff. Explained possible causes of the problem I was experiencing. It could have been numerous causes, but it was something very minor and they corrected the issue. Fair price. I'll continue to use SAS.

Great customer service. Super nice guys. If you want to wait for your car while it is getting an oil change you have to go first thing in the morning and it only took about an hour.

I would not recommend anyone do business with SAS Auto for any car repairs. They are a "team" of dishonest shysters. They will lie to you from the time you walk through the door by twisting service quotes, time of completion, and will not admit to any wrong doing or take responsibility for their work mistakes. They also will steal one of a kind tools from your vehicle. Buyer Beware !!!

I've taken my Mini Cooper to SAS twice now for different jobs, and have not been particularly impressed. I had some weird error codes and MINI gave me a crazy high quote to look at it. I wanted peace of mind with my car for a lower cost than the dealership. The first time I hit a rock on the road and needed parts replaced. They did an inspection and replaced the parts they found to be damaged. After taking about a week to do the repairs, they did another inspection and found more parts that had to be replaced! So, after clearing the extra repairs with my insurance, they spent another week replacing damaged parts that they missed the first time. My insurance would have totaled the car if they found all the damage initially, so I'm not terribly angry about this but wish they hadn't missed important details and could have done the work faster. The second time, I went in for a thumping noise and some error codes. They inspected my suspension, and found a leaky shock. They didn't suggest I get it fixed, simply told me the problem. They used their diagnostics computer to clear the codes without looking into why the codes were even coming up, which to me seems like treating the symptom before the cause. Naturally, when I went to pick up my car, the same error codes came right back as soon as I started the car! I spent an hour troubleshooting with them, and the problem was the extra current from having 2 bulbs in parallel caused the computer to think there was a short and throw an error. I suggested removing the high-current bulbs, and after saying it would make no difference, they finally did so and the problem was fixed.Additionally, they found one of my brake wear sensors to be broken and again, simply told me about it and didn't offer to fix it. The error code for that is still on, and I will do the work myself rather than pay them to guess at how to fix things. In conclusion, this is not the place to go for peace-of-mind when you have problems with your european car. They are not particularly fast, quite expensive (labor runs $114/hr), and do not understand the principles behind the computers running today's cars.

I usually service my own vehicle but there are some things you need expensive diagnostic equipment and a vehicle lift for. This shop knows Volvos very well and have all the technology required for extensive servicing. Their price is good and they use quality replacement parts. Thanks for not breaking the bank!

I recommend SAS Automotive without hesitation. I have an 06 BMW X3 that was missing. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it and the car runs better than new. Their charges were reasonable and the service impeccable. Thank you Paul and Scott.

SAS is the only place I take my 1988 Volvo 240 for repairs. They are fellow Volvo enthusiasts and they never seem to bat an eye at my outdated set of wheels. These guys are pros at working on these luxury cars and here I am showing up with my project car and they don't treat me any different than a guy with the brand new BMW. They are fair with their pricing and honest with their work. They will always let you know what else may need attention in the near future, but they will never try to force it upon you. Also, if the notice little things that need adjusting, they might even be kind enough to fix it free of charge providing you are having other things serviced. They are a real stand up shop and I am grateful for all they have done for me and my youngtimer Volvo.

SAS replaced the alternator in my 2008 Volvo XC90, and claimed to warranty the part and the work for 2 years. The alternator failed within that 2 years. I was visiting family in Reno when I had the alternator replaced by SAS. They would only warranty the part and service if I went to a Bosch certified shop (there are none in my Montana town). They stopped answering my phone calls for several days before I was finally able to get someone on the phone, they said they would issue a refund for the part but I would have to ship the bad alternator back to them before they would issue a refund. Again, I didn t hear from them and finally got in touch with them over a week after they received the part. I was told both 1. That the alternator I sent wasn t the one they put in my car (as if I d just gone and had it replaced in the mean time or someone just accidentally put a new one in my car without me knowing) AND 2. That the part was damaged in shipping to them. So they aren t honoring their warranty! What a bunch of scum bags. Dishonest to the core!!!
